국산 개발 DCS의 시험 연소로 적용 (Application of developed DCS to test furnace)

  • We applied a DCS which was developed in Korea to test furnace. Test furnace is a pilot-scale plant made for finding combustion in firing coal. In this paper, we describe control system which was implemented in test furnace in detail. Finally, we describe the fire box temperature control loop, and show fire box temperature control result during commissioning stage using implemented control system.

  • There are lots of disturbance in the super heater temperature control system of power plant boiler as follows. 1.Burner light off. 2.Excess Air. 3.Burner tilt. 4.G.R fan flow. Temperature control system of super heater in the power plant has delay time about 5 min. So it is difficult to control the super heater temperature in the power plant. This paper show us the application of domestic development DCS to control the super heater temperature in seoul #5 thermal power plant unit.

  • 전력사업에 있어 그 기본이 되는 발전소는 현재 복잡화되어 가고 있는 산업사회의 전력수요에 대한 대폭적인 증가 추세에 따라 발전소에서는 보다 효율적이며 합리적이고 경제적인 전력공급을 위해 전력생산에 대한 신뢰성 향상 및 안정성 확보는 물론, 효율성이 높은 운전이 요구되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 상호간섭이 많은 다변수 비선형 시스템인 발전소를 제어하기 위해 적용된 선진국들의 분산제어시스템(DCS, Distributed Control System)의 구조를 분석하고 향후 발전소용 DCS의 기술동향 및 선택을 위해 고려될 사항들을 알아보고자 한다.

  • In this paper, a real-time communication method using a PICNET-NP (Plant Instrumentation and Control Network for Nuclear Power plant) is proposed with an analysis of the control network requirements of DCS (Distributed Control System) in nuclear power plants. The method satisfies deadline in case of worst data traffics by considering aperiodic and periodic real-time data and others.

  • This paper suggests a DCS (Distributed Control System) model for steam temperature system of the thermal power plant. The model calculated within sectional range is linear. In order to calculate mathematical models, the system is partitioned into two or three sectors according to its thermal conditions, that is, saturated water/steam and superheating state. It is divided into three sections; water supply, steam generation and steam heating loop. The steam heating loop is called 'superheater' or steam temperature system. Water spray supply is the control input. A first order linear model is extracted. For linear approach, sectional linearization is achieved. Modeling methodology is a decomposition-synthetic technique. Superheater is composed of several tube-blocks. For this block, linear input-output model is to be calculated. Each tiny model has its transfer function. By expanding these block models to total system, synthetic DCS linear models are derived. Control instrument include/exclude models are also considered. The resultant models include thermal combustion conditions, and applicable to practical plant engineering field.

  • 일반 산업체와 화력발전소 계측제어시스템에 널리 사용되고 있는 분산제어시스템(Distributed Control System)을 원자력발전소에 사용하기 위해서는 분산제어시스템의 안전성과 신뢰성의 입증이 선결과제이다. 따라서 새로운 시스템을 시뮬레이션에 의해 구현하고 검증하기 위한 시뮬레이터가 필요하게 되었다. 발전소 전범위 시뮬레이터(full Scope Simulator)를 제작 하기에 앞서 발전소 계통 중에서 소규모계통을 대상으로 부분범위 시뮬레이터(Compact Simulator)를 제작하였다. 개발된 DCS 검증용 시뮬레이터의 시스템은 발전소 제어반을 모의한 소프트 패널, 발전소 프로세스을 모이한 계통 모델링 소프트웨어, 그리고 현재 발전소의 아날로그 제어계통을 대신한 DCS 제어 계통등의 세 개의 계통으로 구성하였다. 개발 제작된 시뮬레이터를 이용하여 원자력 발전소 계측제어시스템에 분산제어시스템 적용을 시뮬레이션을 통햐여 구현하였으며 분산제어시스템의 적용 검증작업은 물론 적용을 위한 설계업부에도 DCS 검증용 시뮬레이터가 효과적으로 사용될 수 있음을 알았다.

Priority Setting in Damage Control Surgery for Multiple Abdominal Trauma Following Resuscitative Endovascular Balloon Occlusion of the Aorta

  • Damage control surgery (DCS) is an abbreviated laparotomy procedure that focuses on controlling bleeding to limit the surgical insult. It has become the primary treatment modality for patients with exsanguinating truncal trauma. Herein, we present the case of a 47-year-old woman with liver, kidney, and superior mesenteric vein (SMV) injuries caused by a motor vehicle collision. The patient underwent DCS following resuscitative endovascular balloon occlusion of the aorta (REBOA). In this case report, we discuss the importance of priority setting in DCS for the treatment of multisystem damage of several abdominal organs, particularly when the patient has incurred a combination of major vascular injuries. We also discuss the implications of damage control of the SMV, perihepatic packing, and right-sided medial visceral rotation. Further understanding of DCS, along with REBOA as a novel resuscitation strategy, can facilitate the conversion of uniformly lethal abdominal injuries into rescuable injuries.

  • This paper presents the configuration methodology of Distributed Control System(DCS)s for process plant and their performance evaluation. Performance evaluation is specified both in terms of operational and installation aspects of system. In order to evaluate performance criteria of operational aspect, a simulation method is proposed. Modeling of system components including process computer, database, process controllers and LANs, etc, is implemented for simulation. Based on these characteristics, different system configurations are evaluated and compared through results about evaluation criteria in order to select the best DCS for particular process. The results, in abbreviated form, of the performance evaluation of DCS controlling a CAL(Continuous Annealing Line) plant of iron process are presented.
