건설기업 신용평가에 있어서 DCiF 모델의 활용에 관한 연구 (The DCiF Model and Credit Evaluation on Korean Construction Companies)

  • 국내 금융기관들의 현행 건설기업 신용평가는 그 자체로서 많은 문제점을 가지고 있고 건설산업의 특성 및 건설경영의 실제에서도 많이 벗어나 있다. 본 연구는 이러한 문제점들을 해결할 수 있는 대안으로서 DCiF(discounted cash Inflow) 모델을 개발하고 이의 적용방법론을 논의한다. 또한 실증자료에 근거하여 건설기업들의 DCiF 지수를 실제로 산출하고 이를 기존의 신용평가모델들과 비교함으로써 DCiF 모델의 변별력을 검증했다. 실증분석결과를 바탕으로 건설기업 신용평가에서의 동 모델의 보다 효율적인 적용을 위한 유의점 및 대안도 제시했다.

  • Dichloroisoproterenol(DCI) i; one of the well known ${\beta}$-adrenergic receptor blocking agents. According to Moran and Perkins, DCI has sympathomimetic like action in relatively low concentrations. Fleming and Hawkins confirmed that DCI acts upon the receptors concerned with positive chronotropic and inotropic actions in the heart. Vogins reported that DCI, in concentration of $5{\times}10^{-8}$ to $5{\times}10^{-6}g/ml$, had properties of sympathomimetic amine causing positive inotropic and chronotropic actions in normal rat atria. And James and Nadeau found that DCI had not only adrenergic blocking effect in moderate and higher concentrations, but it also blocked the effect on the sinus node by vagal stimulation and of directly administered acetylcholine in higher concentrations. As stated above by many authors, DCI has complicated actions according to its concentrations. Our aim at the present experiments was to study the effects of DCI to the action of ouabain and acetylcholine upon the excised rabbit atria, as well as to the action of barium chloride and acetylcholine upon the excised rabbit intestine. In addition, Pan ax Ginseng is widely used as tonics in oriental nations, its pharmacological action, however, has not been clearly established. So we atempted to investigate the effects of the water extract of Panax Ginseng to the action of ouabain and DCI upon both atria and intestine. The results obtained were as follows. 1) DCI has a negative inotropic effect on the excised rabbit atria at concentration of $10^{-5}$ and a positive inotropic effect at concentration of $10^{-6}$. 2) DCI (at concentration of $10^{-6}$) potentiates the positive inotropic effect of ouabain upon the excised rabbit atria. 3) DCI antagonizes the action of acetylcholine upon the excised rabbit atria. 4) The water extract of Panax Ginseng, at concentration of $10^{-3}$, decreases the contractile force of rabbit atria, and tends to slightly increase that of rabbit atria at $10^{-4}$. 5) The water extract of Panax Ginseng exhibits a synergistic action with ouabain on the contractile force of rabbit atria. 6) DCI, in concentrations of $10^{-7}{\sim}10^{-6}$, depresses the tone and amplitude of contraction of the excised rabbit intestine. The depression of the intestinal tone markedly appears in pretreatment with reserpine 2mg/kg 24 hours. 7) DCI antagonizes the contractile effect of barium chloride on the excised rabbit atria. 8) DCI has no significant influence on the action of acetylcholine upon the excised rabbit intestine. 9) The series of those evidences indicates that DCI has a sympathomimetic-like action and more over a relaxing action directly on the excised rabbit intestine. 10) The water extract of Panax Ginseng in concentrations of $10^{-4}{\sim}10^{-3}$, has transient depression of the intestinal tone, but later gradually recovers its normal motility: 11) The water extract of Panax Ginseng has a synergistic action with ouabain on the intestinal contractility.

The Spectroscopic Studies on the Aggregation Behavior of Cyanine Dyes

  • Aggregations of 1,1'-diethyl-2,2'-carbocyanine iodide (DCI) and 1,1'-diethyl-2,2'-dicarbocyanine iodide (DDT) in aqueous solution have been investigated by the steady-state absorption spectroscopy. The equilibrium constants for dimerization of DCI and DDT are found to be $(9.8{\pm}0.5){\times}10^4 \;and\; (1.6{\pm}0.5){\times}10^5\; M^{-1}$, respectively, at 293 K. The enthalpy changes for the dimerization of DCI and DDT are -6.7±0.7 and -7.7±0.8 kcal/mol, respectively. The results show that the dispersion force plays an important role in the aggregation of DCI and DDT in aqueous solution. The absorption bandwidth of DCI/ethanol system has been measured as a function of temperature, providing the evidence for no strong interaction between DCI and solvent molecules. The participation of hydrophobic force in driving the aggregation is suggested. For the first time, DCI in aqueous solution is found to form a new aggregate which has both J- and H- bands.

Terra MODIS NDVI를 활용한 3월말 논지역 건조상태에 따른 가뭄표현 가능성 연구 (The Possibility of Drought Expression by Late March Dryness in Rice Paddy Areas Using Terra MODIS NDVI)

  • 본 논문의 목적은 Terra MODIS NDVI(Normalized Difference Vegetation Index)를 이용하여 3월 하순 논 지역의 건조상태를 평가함으로써 식생지수의 가뭄표현 가능성을 확인하는데 있다. 2000년부터 2015년까지의 평균 NDVI와 해당연도 NDVI를 활용한 DCI(Dry Condition Index)를 개발하여 논지역의 건조상태를 분석하였다. 전국을 대상으로 3월 16일부터 5월 25일까지의 16일 간격 DCI를 산정하여 시공간적 건조도를 평가하였으며, 특히 4월 7일(3/23-4/7) DCI는 가뭄년에 대하여 논 지역이 건조함을 잘 나타냄을 확인하였다. 4월 7일의 건조상태 DCI 값은 0.04-0.08 으로 나타났고, 정상상태는 -0.04~0.01이었다. 본 연구에서 개발한 DCI는 초봄의 논 건조 상태를 평가에 대한 지표로서의 활용이 가능할 것으로 판단된다.

구상흑연주철의 고압하 마멸특성에 미치는 합금원소의 영향 I-Cu, Mn (Effects of Alloying Elements on the High Pressure Wear Characteristics of Ductile Cast Iron I-Cu, Mn)

  • High pressure wear characteristics of DCI(Ductile Cast Iron) were investigated through unlubricated pin-on-disc wear test. Wear test were carried out at speed of 23m/min, under pressure of 3MPa and 3.3 MPa. Cu and/or Mn were added to examine the effect of alloying elements on the high pressure wear characteristics of DCI. To investigate the relationship between wear characteristics and mechanical properties of DCI, Brinell hardness and V-notched Charpy impact energy were tested. Wear surface of each specimen was observed by SEM to determine the wear mechanism of DCI under high pressure wear condition. In the mild wear region, wear characteristics of alloyed DCI specimens were very similar to that of unalloyed DCI. But mild-severe wear transition was occurred at different wear distance and wear rate of DCI specimens were changed by alloying elements. In severe wear condition, wear rate of DCI was dramatically increased by the addition of Mn. Although the addition of Cu 0.46wt% did not decrease the wear rate of DCI in the severe wear region, but it delayed the mild-severe wear transition. Under high pressure wear condition, wear rate and mild-severe wear transition were not concerned with hardness of DCI specimens, but they were deeply associated with impact energy changed by alloying elements.

  • The effect of austempering treatment on mechanical properties of nodular indefinite chilled iron(NICI) and ductile cast iron(DCI) was investigated. In microstructural observation, matrix phase(pearlite and ferrite) was changed to ausferrite after austempering treatment both DCI and NICI. In case of NICI, decomposition of cementite($Fe_3C$) during austempering treatment was induced. After austempering treatment, mechanical properties such as hardness, tensile strength and impact toughness was improved in NICI and DCI. The wear resistance is slightly decreased because of decomposition of cementite during austempering treatment in NICI but impact toughness and strength is dramatically increased.

Inhibitory Effect of D-chiro-inositol on Both Growth and Recurrence of Breast Tumor from MDA-MB-231 Cancer Cells

  • D-chiro-inositol (DCI) is a secondary messenger in insulin signal transduction. It is produced in vivo from myo-inositol via action of epimerase. In this study, we evaluated antitumor activity of DCI against human breast cancer both in vitro and in vivo. In order to determine the inhibitory effects of DCI on growth of human breast cancer cells (MDA-MB-231), two different assessment methods were implemented: MTT assay and mouse xenograft assay. MTT assay demonstrated downturn in cell proliferation by DCI treatment (1, 5, 10, 20 and 40 mM) groups by 18.3% (p < 0.05), 17.2% (p < 0.05), 17.5% (p < 0.05), 18.4% (p < 0.05), and 24.9% (p < 0.01), respectively. Also, inhibition of tumor growth was investigated in mouse xenograft model. DCI was administered orally at the dose of 500 mg/kg and 1000 mg/kg body weight to treat nude mouse for 45 consecutive days. On the 45th day, tumor growth of DCI (500 mg/kg and 1000 mg/kg) groups was suppressed by 22.1% and 67.6% as mean tumor volumes were $9313.8{\pm}474.1mm^3$ and $3879.1{\pm}1044.1mm^3$, respectively. Furthermore, breast cancer stem cell (CSC) phenotype ($CD44^+/C24^-$) was measured using flow cytometry. On the 46th day, CSC ratios of DCI (500 mg/kg) and co-treatment with doxorubicin (4 mg/kg) and DCI (500 mg/kg) group decreased by 24.7% and 53.9% (p < 0.01), respectively. Finally, from tumor recurrence assay, delay of 5 days in the co-treatment group compared to doxorubicin (4 mg/kg) alone group was observed. Based on these findings, we propose that DCI holds potential as an anti-cancer drug for treatment of breast cancer.

DCI 규격을 만족하는 디지털시네마 배급을 위한 시각적 무손실 압축 연구 (Visually Lossless Image Compression for Digital Cinema Distribution Based on DCI Specification)

  • 본 논문에서는 디지털시네마의 효율적인 배급을 위해서 시각적 무손실 압축 개념을 도입하여 정리하고 효과를 분석한다. 최근 디지털시네마 배급은 DCI에서 채택한 JPEG 2000을 영상 압축 표준으로 이루어지고 있다. 따라서 DCI 규격에 정의된 JPEG 2000의 특징을 살펴본 후, 디지털시네마에서 중요한 시각적 무손실 개념을 정리한다. 실험을 통해 DCI 규격에서 규정한 방식으로 JPEG 2000의 압축성능을 시각적 무손실 관점에서 평가했으며, 그 결과 영화 배급에 필요한 품질 기준을 만족하는 것으로 판단된다.

Monocyte Count and Systemic Immune-Inflammation Index Score as Predictors of Delayed Cerebral Ischemia after Aneurysmal Subarachnoid Hemorrhage

  • Objective : Delayed cerebral ischemia (DCI) is a major cause of disability in patients who survive aneurysmal subarachnoid hemorrhage (aSAH). Systemic inflammatory markers, such as peripheral leukocyte count and systemic immune-inflammatory index (SII) score, have been considered predictors of DCI in previous studies. This study aims to investigate which systemic biomarkers are significant predictors of DCI. Methods : We conducted a retrospective, observational, single-center study of 170 patients with SAH admitted between May 2018 and March 2022. We analyzed the patients' clinical and laboratory parameters within 1 hour and 3-4 and 5-7 days after admission. The DCI and non-DCI groups were compared. Variables showing statistical significance in the univariate logistic analysis (p<0.05) were entered into a multivariate regression model. Results : Hunt-Hess grade "4-5" at admission, modified Fisher scale grade "3-4" at admission, hydrocephalus, intraventricular hemorrhage, and infection showed statistical significance (p<0.05) on a univariate logistic regression. Lymphocyte and monocyte count at admission, SII scores and C-reactive protein levels on days 3-4, and leukocyte and neutrophil counts on days 5-7 exhibited statistical significance on the univariate logistic regression. Multivariate logistic regression analysis revealed that monocyte count at admission (odds ratio [OR], 1.64; 95% confidence interval [CI], 1.04-2.65; p=0.036) and SII score at days 3-4 (OR, 1.55; 95% CI, 1.02-2.47; p=0.049) were independent predictors of DCI. Conclusion : Monocyte count at admission and SII score 3-4 days after rupture are independent predictors of clinical deterioration caused by DCI after aSAH. Peripheral monocytosis may be the primer for the innate immune reaction, and the SII score at days 3-4 can promptly represent the propagated systemic immune reaction toward DCI.

  • DCI (dichlorolsocyanuric acid sodium salt)에 의한 PNPDPP (p-nitrophenyldiphenylphosphate)의 미셀 내에서의 분해 반응을 pH 8.0 borate 완충용액에서 속도론적으로 살펴보았다. 양이온성 계면활성제인 CTAC (cetyltrimethylammonium chloride) 또는 CTAB (cetyltrimethylammonium bromide)를 첨가하면 반응은 빠르게 촉진되었으며, 특히 CTAB의 경우는 DCI의 N-Cl 결합이 N-Br 결합으로 전환되어 반응이 진행되었다.
