DC/DC 스위칭 컨버터 특성 (DC/DC Switching Converter Characteristics)

  • In this paper, Flyback type DC/DC Switching Converter was designed, analyzed and fabricated. Worst Case Analysis(WCA) was peformed with Mathcad program and presents circuit simulation results for the in-rush current limit circuit. The value of the maximum OFF voltage stress is 131.84V, it is less than device specification(200V). The switching frequency(nominal case) and duty cycle at the wont case analysis are 75KHz and 34.62%, respectively. The maximum in-rush current presents 0.5A Those results show a possibility for use in space

  • This paper presents the one direction 3-phase DC-DC converter. The converter employs DC-AC inverter, 3-phase 1:N transformer and 3-phase full wave rectification circuit make low voltage direct current to high voltage direct current. By computer simulation and experiment, the theoretical results can be verified or modified. Finally, the simulation and experiment results are presented. Compared with the general DC converter, has anti-interference ability, high reliability, high output power, range and other characteristics, widely used, fully isolated input and output, the output of the multiplexer is not limited, polar optional.

  • 본 논문은 출력전류를 증가하기 위해서 L과 C를 공진 탱크회로로 구성하는 고주파 공진을 이용한 전류형 고주파 공진 U-U 컨버터를 보여주고 있다. 이 회로구성은 L과 C를 공진 탱크회로로 구성하였고, 스위칭 양단에 커패시터를 삽입하여 공진과 ZVS(Zero Voltage Switching) 커패시터로 동시에 사용하였다. 따라서, 컨버터는 턴ㆍ온, 턴ㆍ오프에서 스위칭 손실과 집음, 전압 스트레스를 줄일 수 있고, U전원 공급으로부터 리플이 적은 일정한 전류를 공급하기 위한 U 리액터는 공진 리액터와 연결되어 있기 때문에 부하 단락시 안정하게 동작하는 장점이 있다. 본 컨버터의 회로해석은 무차원화 파라미터 기법을 도입하여 행하였고, 또한 ZVS영역특성, 출력전력특성, 출력전압특성, 출력전류특성 등 여러 특성평가를 하였다. 여러 특성평가를 바탕으로 설계하였고, 실험을 통한 실험치와 이론치를 비교하여 이론해석의 정당성도 입증하였다.

  • Fault current limiters (FCL) are extensively needed to suppress fault currents, especially for trunk power systems heavily connected to high voltage/large current transmission lines. Due to its ideal electrical behavior, high-temperature superconductor fault current limiter (HTSFCL) becomes one of the most important developing trends of limiters in power system. This paper describes the result of an investigation of the dielectric characteristics of turn-to-turn insulation for pancake and solenoid type reactor coil in liquid nitrogen. The influence of thickness in a variety length, on AC, DC and impulse surface flashover has been investigated. Also, the relationships between the number of turn and breakdown characteristics were clarified. The information gathered in this test series should be helpful in the design of liquid nitrogen filled DC reactor type HTSFCL.

  • In this paper, the characteristics of the proposed converter are show by simulation. As a result, the power factor is improved and the results show the usefulness of the proposed circuit. To improve the hard switching at turn-off of the basic circuit, the circuit using a current resonant switch is proposed. In the proposed circuit, THD of the input current is reduced to 1.8 of the basic circuit. The mechanism of the THD reduction is clarified. That is because the on period becomes shorter at the peak of the source voltage. Using the simulation, the characteristics of the output voltage, current flowing the switch, and THD of the input current are investigated by changing the resonant circuit parameters. Criteria for choosing resonant parameters of smaller THD are obtained.

  • 동기발전기의 출력전압은 여자 시스템의 계자 전류 제어에 의해 일정하게 유지된다. 현재 대부분의 발전기 여자기의 여자전류제어를 위해 사용되는 AVR 시스템의 AC/DC 컨버터 부는 출력전압 제어가 가능한 위상제어 컨버터나 출력전압을 제어할 수 없는 다이오드 정류기와 DC/DC 컨버터를 결합하여 사용하고 있다. AC/DC 전력 변환장치로서 위상제어 컨버터나 출력전압을 제어할 수 없는 다이오드 정류기의 경우, AVR시스템의 전력을 공급하는 모선의 역률저하 및 저차 고조파 발생의 문제점을 야기 시키게 된다. 본 논문에서는 동기발전기의 여자전류 제어를 위해 사용되는 AVR 시스템 설계에 있어 단위역률 동작이 가능한 Boost형 AC/DC 컨버터와 모선의 부하변동에 속응성 있게 동작할 수 있는 전류 제어형 Buck 컨버터를 결합한 2단 3상 PWM AC/DC 컨버터에 대해 연구하였다. 제안된 AC/DC 컨버터를 시뮬레이션 한 결과 Boost 컨버터의 경우 단위 역률 동작 및 출력 DC 전압의 Boost 동작이 원할히 이루어졌으며, Buck 컨버터의 경우 다른 위상제어 컨버터에 비해 응답시간이 개선되었음을 알 수 있었다.

  • This paper describes characteristics of the developed current sensor by means of two identically wound magnetic cores forming a clamp like for measurement of a low DC, or AC current. This sensor consists of peak value detectors, a sensor of an electrically compensated current transformer type, a reference alternating voltage, Precision measuring circuits to measure the output signals of sensor with harmonics, and can be measured up to 2 A at DC, or AC current. The current sensor shows a measurement accuracy of less than 0.3% in the frequency range 40 Hz - 10 HBz. The resolution and sensitivity of the sensor were evaluated 0.1 mA and 10 mV/mA, respectively.

낮은 입력전압, 대전류 응용을 위한 2단 구성 승압컨버터 (Two Stage High Step-Up Converter for Low Input Voltage and High Current Applications)

  • DC-DC converter which composed of LLC resonant converter, operated by fixed switching frequency with fixed duty cycle (50%), and flyback converter to provide constant output voltage($400V_{DC}$) with variation of input voltage($30-60V_{DC}$) is proposed in this paper. To obtain constant output voltage($400V_{DC}$), flyback converter is not operated in case of above the maximum input voltage($60V_{DC}$) and operated as the input voltage decreases to below 60VDC. Therefore, flyback converter can be designed to the 50% power rating of the maximum power in the proposed DC-DC converter. Operation modes and voltage gain characteristics were analyzed and a 360W prototype converter was tested to verify the proposed converter.

  • This paper preserts the characteristics of leakage currents flowing through 18 kV zinc oxide (ZnO) surge arrester under the mixed DC and AC voltages. The I-V curves of ZnO surge arrester were measured as a function of the voltage ratio K The I-V curves under the mixed DC and AC voltages lay between the pure DC and AC characteristics, and the cross-over phenomenon in I-V curves was observed at the low current region As a result, the increase of DC component to mixed voltages causes the increase of resistive component of total leakage current th ZnO surge arrester.

  • The zero voltage and zero current switching(ZVZCS) full bridge (FB) PWM converter using secondary active clamp is characterized by high efficiency, good ZVZCS characteristic, simple topology and low cost. But at the period for discharge of the secondary clamp capacitor, peak pulses and ringing pulse occur in rectified secondary side of the converter. In this paper, a novel secondary active clamp circuit for the ZVZCS FB PWM converter is proposed and a 50 kHz, 500 W prototype converter was experimented for verification of the converter characteristics. It was verified that high voltage peak pulses and ringing pulse on secondary rectified waveforms of the converter are decreased effectively.
