This paper presents the control method that inverter output keeps to linear to reference voltage of Synchronous Reluctance Motor using DC Link voltage Synthesis. The Inverter output voltage cannot be displayed to linear about inverter reference voltage if Real DC Link voltage is different from DC Link voltage of PWM amplitude. Also, the overmodulation that there is linearity broken if reference voltage is out of range that inverter can output voltage. Torque ripple generates the vibration and noise of a motor. This paper proposes the control method so that torque ripple decreases and the linearity of inverter output keeps using the DC Link voltage Synthesis.
This paper proposes a voltage compensation method to improve the control performance of B4 inverter which is studied for low-cost drive systems. The B4 inverter employs only four switches and it has a center-tapped connection in the split dc-link capacitors to one phase of a three-phase motor. In the B4 topology unbalan-cd three-phase voltages will be generated by the dc link voltage ripple. To solve this problem we present a voltage compensation method which adjusts switching times considering dc link voltage ripple. The proposed method is verified by simulation results,

A large-capacity three-phase system air conditioner recently includes an inverter circuit to reduce power consumption. The inverter circuit uses a DC voltage that comes from DC-link power capacitor with the function of rectifying, which means AC voltage to DC voltage using a diode. An electrolytic capacitor is generally used to satisfy the voltage ripple and current ripple conditions of a DC-link power capacitor used for rectifying. Reducing the capacitance of the capacitor decreases the size, weight, and cost of the circuit. This paper proposes an algorithm to reduce the input ripple current by combining the minimum point estimation phase locked loop (PLL) phase control and the average voltage d axis current control technique. When this algorithm was used, the input ripple current decreased by almost 90%. The current ripple of the DC-link capacitor decreased due to the decrease in input ripple current. The capacitor capacity can be reduced but the electrolytic capacitor has a heat generation problem and life-time limitations because of its large equivalent series resistance (ESR). This paper proposes a method to select a film capacitor considering the current ripple at DC-link stage instead of an electrolytic capacitor. The capacitance was selected considering the voltage limitation, RMS (Root Mean Square) current capacity, and RMS current frequency analysis. A $1680{\mu}F$ electrolytic capacitor can be reduced to a $20{\mu}F$ film capacitor, which has the benefit of size, weight and cost. These results were verified by motor operation.
A technique to suppress the low frequency ripple voltage of the DC output in three phase buck diode rectifiers is presented in this paper. The proposed pulse frequency modulation methods and duty ratio modulation methods are employed to regulate the output voltage of the buck diode rectifiers and guarantee zero-current -switching(ZCS) of the switch over the wide load range The proposed control methods used in this paper provide generally good performance such as low THD of the input line current and unity power factor. IN addition control methods can be effectively used to suppress the low frequency ripple voltage appeared in the dc output voltage. The harmonic injection technique illustrates its validity and effectiveness through the simulations.

In this paper a novel structure of multi-level converter for reducing ripple of output voltage is proposed. In the proposed converter Buck converters are connected in series to generate the output voltage and the ripple of output voltage can be reduced compared with the exiting Buck converter. Especially when outputting lower output voltage the number of acting switching elements is less and the result of ripple reducing is more obvious. It is expected that the converter proposed in this paper can be very useful in the case of wide range of output voltage.
In order to radiate X-ray, the low ripple stabilized high voltage DC over the range of 40KV to 150KV is directly inflicted to X-ray tube. The energy characteristics of the radiated X-ray depend on the pulsating waveforms of the DC voltage supplied X-ray tube. In general, the low ripple voltage waveforms with fast rising times are required to increase with the dosage per unit time lest the exposure time should be longer in orde that the motion artifacts of an object may be eliminated in actual. The conventional types of X-ray generators were bulky in physical size and heavy in weight, and the control accuracies of the output voltages were not always satisfactory. The high frequency switching inverter and converter technology on power conversion and control systems have been greatly closed up introducing new power semiconductor devices. To decreasing the volume and the weight of high voltage transformer, and to stabilize ripple, a high frequency PWM inverter is connected between DC source and high voltage transformer. This paper describes the output characteristics according to stabilize ripple of X-ray tube voltage and compared the reproducibility, direcibility and doesage.

Renewable energy resources such as wind and photovoltaic power generation systems demand a high step-up DC-DC converters to convert the low voltage to commercial grid voltage. However, the high step-up converter using a transformer has limitations of high voltage stresses of switches and diodes when the transformer winding ratio increases. Accordingly, conventional studies have been applied to series-connect multioutput converters such as forward-flyback and switched-capacitor flyback to reduce the transformer winding ratio. This paper proposes new single-ended converter topologies of an isolation type and a non-isolation type to improve power efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and output ripple. The first proposal is an isolation-type charge-pump switched-capacitor flyback converter that includes an extreme-ratio isolation switched-capacitor cell with a chargepump circuit. It reduces the transformer winding number and the output ripple, and further improves power efficiency without any cost increase. The next proposal is a non-isolation charge-pump switched-capacitor-flyback tapped-inductor boost converter, which adds a charge-pump-connected flyback circuit to the conventional switched-capacitor boost converter to improve the power efficiency and to reduce the efficiency degradation from the input variation. In this paper, the operation principle of the proposed scheme is presented with the experimental results of the 100 W DC-DC converter for verification.

In this study, an improved LCCT(Inductor-Capacitor-Capacitor-Trans) Z-source inverter(Improved LCCT ZSI) with characteristics of Quasi Z-source inverter(QZSI) and LCCT Z-source inverter(LCCT ZSI) is proposed. The proposed inverter can also reduce the voltage stress and input current/capacitor voltage ripples compared with conventional LCCT ZSI and Quasi ZSI. A two winding trans in Z-impedance network of the conventional LCCT ZSI is replaced by a three winding trans in the proposed inverter. To verify the validity of the proposed inverter, a DSP controlled hardware was made and PSIM simulation was executed for each method. Comparing the current and voltage ripples of each method under the condition of input DC voltage 70[V] and output AC voltage 76[Vrms], the input current and capacitor voltage ripple factors of the proposed inverter were low as 11[%] and 1.4[%] respectively. And, for generation of the same output AC voltage of each method, voltage stress of the proposed inverter was low as 175[V] under the condition of duty ratio D=0.15. As mentioned above, we could know that the proposed inverter have the characteristics of low voltage stress, low ripple factor and low operation duty ratio compared with the conventional methods. Finally, the efficiency according to load change/duty ratio and the transient state characteristics were discussed.

In this paper, I have proposed that the 1st and 2nd AC-DC transformation methods using multi-level pulsating currents and selection switches. Through making the rectified voltage of the proposed AC-DC translation which is similar to reference voltage by selecting from multi-level pulsating currents, the proposed translation has dramatically reduced the ripple voltage. I have compared the performance of the DC voltage, the ripple voltage and the peak to peak voltage of the proposed method with the conventional method. The simulation results show that the proposed 2nd method has the better performance than the 1st method in the point of average DC voltage drop and peak to peak voltage increase.

A single-phase grid-connected PV system is known as suitable for housing of less than 3 kW. The DC link voltage in a single-phase PV system has necessarily twice component of fundamental wave. It makes high THD in the grid current. According to the problem, power quality is lower. Many engineers have studied about this problem. The most simple method is to use low pass filter on DC link voltage control. However it is affected by DC link voltage control bandwidth. If cutoff frequency is reduced to increase the performance of low pass filter, it also lowers DC link voltage control bandwidth. Second method is using band stop filter, it works good on steady state but not good on transient state. This paper proposes the new method for removing ripple voltage to get an exact current reference. It improves the responses on steady state and transient state. The performance was verified through computer simulation using MATLAB and actual experiments.
