Study on Establishment of DB for Processing Properties of Food Raw Materials and Website Operation (식품자원의 가공적성 연구 결과 DB 구축 및 웹사이트 운영 연구)

  • DB Integration website(tentatively named Food Processing Aptitude Information Center, FPAIC) has been designed through a "high-value products development project(2013)". Basically, the project aims to secure connections between food raw materials and processing industry, a variety of information sources, and users's convenience. It also aims to build the industry-university-based mutual growth in the food industry through sharing of processing suitability and material research on food raw materials. FPAIC consists of raw material story, information of sample characteristics, food processing study, preceding research data, food industry trends, and understanding of food processing. The major database of research on Food Processing is provided on information of sample characteristics, and food processing study. Currently the web site has 36 raw material stories, 380 information on sample characteristics and food processing studies, 1,600 preceding research data about 31 food raw materials. The web site also provides information on 70 useful web sites, as well as 77 food industry trends, 27 basic information about food processing.

  • 최근 전자우편이나 해킹을 통한 피싱과 파밍 등 금융 사기가 많이 발생하고 있다. 이에 이러한 피해로부터 사용자의 경제적 손실 및 개인정보 보호를 위하여 웹 사이트 인증, 전자우편 인증 등의 연구가 진행되고 있다. 기존 인증 방법에서는 WBL (Website Black-List) DB를 사용하였는데, 피싱의 짧은 생명주기(life cycle)로 인해 WBL DB의 유효성은 떨어질 뿐만 아니라, 피싱 사건 발생 후 웹 사이트가 WBL DB에 등록되기 전까지는 확인 불가능하다는 단점을 가지고 있다. 이러한 문제점을 극복하기 위해 WWL (Website White-List) DB를 이용한 연구가 진행 중이지만 아직은 미비한 편이다. 이에 본 논문에서는 기존의 WBL DB와 WWL DB를 이용한 방법이 가지고 있는 한계점을 극복하기 위해 WWL DB 항목을 정의하고, 이를 이용하여 웹사이트 보안 위험도를 정량화할 수 있는 웹사이트 위험도 산정 기법을 제안한다.

A Study on User Behavior of University Library Website based Big Data: Focusing on the Library of C University (빅데이터 기반 대학도서관 웹사이트 이용행태에 관한 연구: C대학교 도서관을 중심으로)

  • This study analyzes the actual use data of the websites of university libraries, analyzes the users' usage behavior, and proposes improvement measures for the websites. The study analyzed users' traffic and analyzed their usage behavior from January 2018 to December 2018 on the C University website. The website's analysis tool used 'Google Analytics'. The web traffic variables were analyzed in five categories: user general characteristics, user environment analysis, visit analysis, inflow analysis, site analysis, and site analysis based on the metrics of sessions, users, page views, pages per session, average session time, and bounce rate. As a result, 1) In the analysis results of general characteristics of users, there was some access to the website not only in Korea but also in China. 2) In the user experience analysis, the main browser type appeared as Internet Explorer. The next place was Chrome, with a bounce rate of Safari, third and fourth, double that of the Explore or Chrome. In terms of screen resolution, 1920x1080 resolution accounted for the largest percentage, with access in a variety of other environments. 3) Direct inflow was the highest in the inflow media analysis. 4) The site analysis showed the most page views out of 4,534,084 pages, followed by the main page, followed by the lending/extension/history/booking page, the academic DB page, and the collection page.

  • Following the evaluation of the irrigation & drainage structure, a suitable repair and reinforcing procedure can be selected based on this report. Successful procedures take into account the causes of the crack. This provides a survey of crack repair methods, including a summary of the characteristics of the cracks that may be repaired with each procedure, the type of irrigation & drainage structure that have been repaired and a summary of the procedures that are used. Readers are also directly contacted to the website(http:/rri.karico.co.kr/rricon). This report is intended to support the purposes, philosophy, and needs, using easily understood graphics and photos from the construction fields. The results of this study will be distributed to the public official in technical post, the operator in construction site and the member of Korea Agricultural & Rural Infrastructure Corporation and etc.

  • With the advent of the digital era, even thought the configuration and the importance of library resources have changed, still only traditional library resources of the past have been used to measure the effectiveness of university libraries. To overcome these limits, this study purposed to redefine the library resources factors for the evaluation of the library effectiveness as appropriate standards in digital library era. The survey method was used, the result follows. Budget, librarians, space, books, periodicals, e-journals, non-book materials, Web DB, e-book, computers are selected as input resources elements, while loan books, users, website visits, web DB uses are selected as output resoures elements. It could be noticeable that the elements related to the electronic resources was reidentified quiet a lot.

  • This study investigated the current management staus of chemical substance information on Material Safety Data Sheets(MSDS) and Chemical Information Cards(CIC) provided by Korea Occupational Safety & Health Agency(KOSHA) and also researched the kind and the characteristics of chemical substance information provided in other organizations. MSDS DB in Korean provided on KOSHANET(which is Kosha website) is 50,802 in total, among whom are single chemical substances with 31,870 kinds(18,932%) and are mixed chemical substances with 31,870 kinds(62.7%). The number of visiting MSDS DB on KOSHANET for the search of chemicals was 2,049,806. The number has increased each year. The CIC provided for workplaces is all 542 kinds : 14 harmful substances subject to permission, 168 harmful substances subject to management, 360 KOEL(Korean Occupational Exposure Limits) establishment substances. MSDS internationally provided by organizations producing MSDS DB was written with 16 sections, which is suitable for the writing basis of American Standards Institute(ANSI) and International Organization for Standardization(ISO) and provided chemical substance information on more than 100,000 kinds in most organizations.

  • The Korean HapMap Project has been carried out for the last 5 years since it started in June, 2003. The project generated data for a sum of 1,764,000 Korean SNPs and formally registered the data to the dbSNP of NCBI (The dbSNP website. 2008). We have developed a series of software programs for association studies as well as for the comparison and analysis of Korean HapMap data with four other populations (CEPH, Yoruba, Han Chinese, and Japanese populations). The KHapmap Browser was developed and integrated to provide haplotype retrieval and comparative study tools of human ethnicities for comprehensive disease association studies (http://www.khapmap.org). On that basis, GBrowse was adopted in the KHapmap Browser for inherent Korean genetic data, and a provision of extended services was pledged with the distributed sequence annotation system (DAS). The dynamic linking service of the KHapmap Browser to other tools in our intranetwork environment provides many enhanced functions over GBrowse without DAS. KHapmap Browser is expected to be an invaluable tool for the study of Korean and international Hapmap data.

  • 본 고는 일상생활 속 다양한 정보들을 제공하는 웹 사이트를 데이터베이스와 연계하여 제작하는 프로젝트를 소개한다. 해당 프로젝트는 코로나19 거리두기 완화 조치에 따라 학교에 익숙하지 못한 학생들에게 학교 주변 시설에 대하여 실용적이며 활용성 높은 정보를 제공하기 위한 웹 사이트를 제작한다. 해당 웹 사이트는 웹 사용자의 편의를 위한 콘텐츠 추가, 점진적인 제공 정보 확대가 예정되어 있어 코로나19 일상생활 회복에 도움이 될 것으로 기대된다.

  • KISTI(Korea Institute of Science & Technology Information) CCBB(Center for Computational Biology and Bioinformatics) Website has been providing bioinformatics contents(databases and analysis tools) services to construct IT-based bioinformatics infrastructure. It also carries out the services to support domestic bioinformatics R&D activity and to construct the infrastructure. But, these services are not actively available because this CCBB website is not wellknown to users. Therefore, we performed the user survey for the researchers who are studying in the field of biological science. The items of this survey consist of subjects on bioinformatics databases, analysis tools and BioInfoNet. After the user survey is rearranged and analyzed, the result of survey will be used to provide the good service to the users who are need of bioinformatics infrastructure such as databases and analysis tools etc.
