Following the technology developments of traffic network and communication for the wide area, the importance of the cooperation system to vitalize the wide area economy is increasing. Therefore, in this study, DongNam Kwon industry information system is established for the industrial information sharing based on GIS in the DongNam Kwon wide area economy. The DongNam Kwon is an industrial integration area centered with the manufacturing so that the operation of effective industrial cluster and cooperation systems are required across the administrational boundaries. To establish the database of the information, the information system was established utilizing already established industrial databases in Busan, Ulsan and Gyeongnam. But, various issues caused by the discordances among the data of each local government and the insufficiency of GIS based location information have been found. According to the analysis, the standardization considering the courses of collection, distributions and utilization are required immediately to solve the issues. This study establishes an 2-way industrial information system enabling the information creation and the phased approach between the administrator and the user in the bi-directions on the web by utilizing cadastral and numerical maps. The result of this study would have a meaning in providing a fundamental frame for cooperative responses and cooperation system for DongNam Kwon's industrial promotion using industrial information sharing.

This research is a case study that describes the NUCLIS21(Nuclear Information System 21), an integrated web-based information management system of KAERI(Korea Atomic Energy Research Institute), implemented to carry out the role of a national nuclear information center with government support as an information infra implementation programme. Through its user-centered single interface, the system aims at building an infrastructure for the national nuclear information center, as well as improving the information management system of the TID(Technical Information Department) within the institute. The system consists of two major parts which are an integrated module of the MIS and six different kinds of system. These include the Integral search system with OPAC, My Library, the Acquisition system, the Catalogue system, the Information Supply system, and the Serial Publication system. The DB is composed of Bibliographical DB, Original text DB and Abstract DB. A special feature of this system was designed as a unified network system through connection to MIS(Management Integration System) of the institute, so users can get research information for projects. Therefore, they have access to available information easily and access to the ongoing service of this system. Furthermore, users can share information by using our system. The survey has it that 75.7%(200 persons), 62.1%(164 persons) and 78.4%(207 persons) of the respondents are satisfied with the fidelity, speediness, and convenience of the system respectively, and the overall satisfaction of the respondents is comparably high.

This study aims not only to access the visual thought-oriented approach that has been implemented in established art therapy and education but also to integrate language education and therapeutic approach to support the development of school-age children. Thus, text mining technique was applied to search for areas where different areas of language and art can be integrated. This research was conducted in accordance with the procedure of basic research, preliminary DB construction, text screening, DB pre-processing and confirmation, stop-words removing, text mining analysis and the deduction about the convergent areas. These results demonstrated that this study draws convergence areas related to regional, communication, and learning functions, areas related to problem solving and sensory organs, areas related to art and intelligence, areas related to information and communication, areas related to home and disability, topics, conceptualization, peer-related areas, integration, reorganization, attitudes. In conclusion, this study is meaningful in that it established a framework for designing an activity-centered convergence program of art and language in the future and attempted a holistic approach to support child development.

Product catalog information is the most important factor to make customers purchase the product for various B2B or B2C businesses provided on the Internet. As catalog information differs from company by company, it cannot provide common criteria standard to customers to make decisions. Therefore, it is necessary to develop a platform independent system, which integrates incompatible data from each company' catalogs and manages its database. This paper describes the integrated E-catalog system made up DB module, catalog management module, and interface module. This system allows customers to view standardized product catalog information from different companies with real -time updates, and also provides extensibility, flexibility, and interoperability for the effective E-Business management.

As the telematics service that is the integration of information technology approaches commercialization, the necessity and gravity of speech technology is rapidly growing. The speech technology occupies important position in the telematics service because it informs the starting of service and the retrieved result. This service must provide high accuracy of speech recognition and natural synthesis of human speech in a driving environment and it is especially true for the fee-for-service. For high quality TTS, the speech synthesis technique that makes optimal synthesis database and uses efficiently this database is required. In this paper, we describe the design of phonetically balanced sentences used for speech database, the selection of service-suitable-speaker, the extraction methods of accurate phoneme boundary, and the factors which are taken into consideration in the extraction stage of prosody. Finally we show the real case that has commercially implemented.

Documents in a traditional PDM(Product Data Management) system have been managed in a form of scanned document files or electronic documents developed by specific tools. Though each tool manages documents with its own systematical methods, it has drawbacks in data search, data integration and interchange, etc. For this reason, in this research we propose an efficient document management system for PDM by using the SGML(Standard Generalized Markup Language), one of CALS and ISO standards for document interchanges. Among documents to be managed in PDM, the engineering change notification (ECN) is taken into account. The DTD (Document Type Definition) has been constucted based on the logical analysis of the documents format, In addition, based on the DTD, DB classes have been designed by object-oriented paradigms and a prototype for document input/output and search has been developed using UniSQL ORDBMS (Object-Relational DBMS) and PowerBuilder under the client/server environment.

이질적인 정보 저장소를 통합하여 질의하고 검색하는 시스템들에 대한 연구가 최근 들어 XML을 기반으로 활발히 연구되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 XML 에 기반한 DB 통합 미들웨어로서 DataBlender 시스템을 소개하고 이 시스템의 한 블록으로서 무선 환경을 지원하기 위해 개발된 DataBlender.s 의 설계 및 구현에 관해 기술한다. DataBlender.s 는 동기화의 표준 언어인 SyncML 1.0을 기반으로 개발되었으며 본 논문에서는 DataBlender.s 의 모듈 구조, 타 모듈과의 연동, 동기화 처리 과정, 동기화 정보 관리 등을 기술한다.

Computer is a very powerful machine which is widely using for data processing, DB construction, peripheral device control, image processing etc. Consequently, many researches and developments have progressed for high performance processing unit, and other devices. Especially, the core units such as semiconductor parts are rapidly growing so that high-integration, high-performance, microminiat turization is possible. The packaging in the semiconductor industry is very important technique to de determine the performance of the system that the semiconductor is used. In this paper, the inspection of the inner defects such as delamination, void, crack, etc. in the semiconductor packages is studied. ESPI which is a non-contact, non-destructive, and full-field inspection method is used for the inner defect inspection and its results are compared with that of C-Scan method.

이기종 DB에 분산 저장되어 있는 데이터를 통합하여 사용자가 단일한 환경 내에서 각종 데이터를 접근, 관리할 수 있는 기술로써 멀티데이터베이TM 시스템(Multidatabase System:MDBS)이 연구되어 왔다. 그러나, 기존의 MDBS 는 사용하는 통합 모델에 따라 데이터 정의 언어나 데이터 처리 언어를 새로 정의하여 사용하였기 때문에, 지역 데이터베이스 시스템의 사용자는 새로운 데이터 모델과 데이터베이스 언어를 습득해야 하는 문제가 발생한다. 그러므로, 이를 해결하기 위해 현재 표준으로 진행되고 SQL3를 기반으로 한 MDBS의 개발이 요구된다. 본 논문에서는 SQL3를 확장한 멀티 데이터베이스 질의 언어(Multidatabase Query Language: MQL)를 제시하고 MQL을 이용한 3단계 스키마 통합 방안을 제안하고자 한다.

최근 국내 디지털 병원들이 점차 기업화 되면서 각 지역별 분산 및 독립 운영되는 의료통계 정보 활용의 중요성이 증대되고 있다. 또한 각종 연구목적 및 의료 서비스 경쟁력 향상 등을 위해 신속 정확한 의사결정지원 시스템인 데이터 웨어하우스(DW; Data Warehouse) 구축의 필요성이 대두되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 단일 병원 내의 데이터 웨어하우스가 아닌, 전국적으로 분산 운영되고 있는 병원의 다양한 의료정보를 통합하고자 한다. 따라서 Staging 영역을 활용한 분산된 의료정보시스템 통합 방안을 제시한다.
