This study sought to observe systematic relationships through taximetrical analyses by morphological characters among the 10 species, on three species in the virilis section (D. virilis, D. tsigana and D. lacertosa) and seven species in the quinaria section (D. angularis, D. brachvnephros, D. curvispina, D. kuntzei, D. nigromaculata, D. takadai and D. unispina) of the subgenus Drosophila. In the cluster and the cladistic analysis among the members of subgenus Drosophila, 10 species was divided into the 1st group of D. virilis, D. tsigana, and D. lacertosa and the 2nd group of D. angularis, D. brachynephros, D. curvispina, D. kuntzei, D. nigromaculata, D. takadai, and D. unispina. In cluster analysis, the 2nd group had three sister groups; one sister group that clustered D. angularis and D. brachynephros then D. unispina was clustered to them, another sister group clustered D, curvispina and D. takadai then D. kuntzei was clustered to them and the other sister group of D. nigromaculata. In the 10 species, D. virilis and D. lacertosa were the first to be divided and then D. tsigana. Although 1st group which D. virilis was belonged can be determined as more primitive than the 2nd group, it seemed that this group was not the direct ancestor of the 2nd group, rather there should be another ancestor. Among the quinaria species group, D. nigromaculata was the first to be divided and D. kuntzei was the most recent species to be divided.
Let X, Y be vector spaces. It is shown that if an even mapping $f:X{\rightarrow}Y$ satisfies f(0) = 0, and $$2(_{2d-2}C_{d-1}-_{2d-2}C_d)f\({\sum_{j=1}^{2d}}x_j\)+{\sum_{{\iota}(j)=0,1,{{\small\sum}_{j=1}^{2d}}{\iota}(j)=d}}\;f\({\sum_{j=1}^{2d}}(-1)^{{\iota}(j)}x_j\)=2(_{2d-1}C_d+_{2d-2}C_{d-1}-_{2d-2}C_d){\sum_{j=1}^{2d}}f(x_j)$$ for all $x_1$, ${\cdots}$, $x_{2d}{\in}X$, then the even mapping $f:X{\rightarrow}Y$ is quadratic. Furthermore, we prove the Hyers-Ulam stability of the above functional equation in Banach spaces.

In D2D communications underlaying a multicell network, it is of primary importance to ensure coexistence of cellular links and D2D links with minimal interference. Therefore, resource allocation scheme for D2D links should be designed to limit the interference between cellular links and D2D links. In this paper, we propose an effective resource allocation scheme for multiple D2D links which share the uplink spectrum resource with cellular users in a multicell network. Under the assumption that the locations of users are known to the base station, the proposed scheme allocates cellular resources to D2D links, such that the interference between a cellular link and multiple D2D links is minimized. In particular, we compute two constants from the path loss model and then use the constants to protect both cellular and D2D links. Simulation results are provided to verify the performance of the proposed scheme.

In this paper, the beamforming and user scheduling scheme for device-to-device (D2D) underlaying celullar networks with partial channel state information is investigated. In the proposed scheme, cellular users whose channels are nearly orthogonal to the channel between base station and D2D receiver are selected for unitary beamforming so as to minimize the interference to the D2D receiver. The interference caused by underlaying D2D communication can be minimized by reducing the D2D transmitter's transmission power. To enhance the cellular users' throughput further, we also investigate codebook generation method in which each code vector belongs to multiple unitary code matrices. From simulation results, we show that the proposed beamforming and user scheduling scheme mitigates D2D interference to the cellular networks and the codebook generation method improves cellular users' throughput.

In this paper, we propose interference avoidance resource allocation scheme based on graph-coloring algorithm to introduce performance gain using spatial reuse in D2D (Device-to-Device) system. By assigning multiple D2D pairs to a single D2D resource, interference from neighboring D2D pairs is inevitable, which leads to performance degradation. Therefore, we first introduce the feedback information and the method considering the amount of information that can be practically provided by a D2D pair. Then, we propose how to construct a graph, which is corresponding to the D2D system, using the feedback information and adopt a graph-coloring algorithm to efficiently avoid interference. Simulation results show that the proposed resource allocation scheme outperforms traditional resource allocation schemes in both overall sum rate and spectral efficiency of D2D system while reducing the outage probability. Moreover, the outage probability, which indicates a failure rate of D2D communication, can be reduced by adopting the proposed scheme.

Due to the spread of mobile devices and the introduction of high-quality services, mobile traffic is expected to increase sharply and overload of cellular networks is expected. D2D communication is a way to reduce the load and evolve to 5th generation. Since D2D communication directly communicates between the terminals, it can reduce the overload of the cellular network and improve energy efficiency, data rate and network performance. This paper proposes a D2D handover scheme for D2D communication in cellular networks. The cellular network is a 3GPP EPS, and the proposed D2D handover method improves the existing EPS handover process considering compatibility between existing EPS and D2D communication. We also demonstrate the superiority of the proposed handover scheme using the network simulator ns-3. Simulation results show that the proposed handover scheme is superior to existing handover methods in terms of CUE variation, packet transmission delay time, and throughput.

In this paper, the use of an amplify-and-forward (AF) helper station in a cellular network with device-to-device (D2D) communication links is considered to enhance D2D rates and control the interference caused by D2D users to the cellular network. Two design criteria for the AF helper station are considered to improve the overall system quality-of-service (QoS). One is maximization of the worst D2D user rate under a constraint on interference caused by D2D users to the cellular network and the other is its dual, i.e., minimization of interference caused by D2D users to the cellular network with minimum rate guarantee for each D2D user. It is shown that the considered problems reduce to semi-definite programming (SDP) problems. Numerical results show that the proposed AF helper station significantly improves the system performance.

Device-to-Device (D2D) communication is a technology component for long-term evolution-advanced (LTE-A). In D2D communication, users in close proximity to each other can communicate directly without going through a base station; such direct communication can improve spectral efficiency. Although D2D communication brings improvement in spectral efficiency, it also causes interference to the cellular network as a result of spectrum sharing. In particularly, D2D communication can generate interference for each D2D pair when the common wireless medium in a co-located limited area is accessed. Even though the interference management for between the D2D pair and cellular networks has been proposed, the interference reducing methods have still not been fully studied for the D2D pairs. In this paper, we investigate the problem of D2D pair coexistence in which interference is considered between D2D pairs. Using a signal to interference model for a target D2D pair, we provide an analysis of the aggregated throughput of a dense D2D network. For a target D2D pair, we assume that the desired signal and interference signals obey multipath fading and shadow fading. Through analysis, we demonstrate the effect of cluster size such as the number of D2D pairs and the size of the considered area on the network performance. The analytical results are compared with computer simulations. Our work can be used for a rough guideline for controlling the system throughput in a dense D2D network environment.
In this paper, we propose a practical method for displaying 2D/True3D mixed contents in real-time. Many companies released their 3D display recently, but the costs of producing True3D contents are still very expensive. Since there are already a lot of 2D contents in the world and it is more effective to mix True3D objects into the 2D contents than making True3D contents directly, people became interested in mixing 2D/True3D contents. Moreover, real-time 2D/True3D mixing is helpful for 3D displays because the scenario of the contents can be easily changed on playback-time by adjusting the 3D effects and the motion of the True3D object interactively. In our system, True3D objects are rendered into multiple view-point images, which are composed with 2D contents by using depth information, and then they are multiplexed with pre-generated view masks. All the processes are performed on a graphics processor. We were still able to play a 2D/True3D mixed contents with Full HD resolution in real-time using a normal graphics processor.
