Optimum Design of Axial-Flow Fans Including Noise Parameters (소음파라메터를 고려한 축류송풍기의 최적설계)

  • In order to seek various relationships among many design parameters employed in the design of the axial-flow fans the program which generates acoustic spectrum has been developed and its validity verified. Outputs of the program, with other outputs from a formerly developed performance prediction program, have been used to form a multi-objective function, for which an optimal design process was carried out. The present analysis shows that overall noise level and efficiency has contrasting trends, and the chord length turns out to be the most critical design variable. In the chosen design case of requirements $Q=2000m^2/min$, ${\Delta}P_s=67mmAq$, D=1.4m, the chord length of 0.2059m minimizes the overall noise level, while chord length of 0.1254m maximizes the efficiency. The resulting chord length in the balanced optimization is 0.1809m.

  • A Protomodel Space Infrared Cryogenic System (PSICS) cooled by a stirling cryocooler was designed. The PSICS has an IR sensor inside a cold box which is cooled by a stilting cryocooler with refrigeration capacity of 500mw at 80K in a vacuum vessel. It is important to minimize heat load for reducing background thermal noise. In order to design the cryogenic system of low heat load and to reduce heat load, we did several numerical analyses and tested using boil-off calorimetry with liquid nitrogen to measure the heat leak of the system. In this paper, we present the results obtained by thermal analysis and heat load measurement for designing the PSICS.

  • Earth parameters me essential to design and analysis of earth. In this study, a algorithm to estimate earth parameter using artificial neural network(ANN) was proposed. Structures of the soil are grouped by using KSOM algorithm before estimation. Earth parameter is obtained by using BP algorithm. The effectiveness of the proposed algorithm was verified in the case study.

  • 태양광발전시스템은 태양전지 모듈, PCS 등의 구성요소의 성능평가 뿐만 아니라 일사강도 및 온도 등의 환경변화에 따라 발전성능이 결정된다. 따라서 실제 운전시 태양광발전시스템 및 구성요소기기의 성능개선, 시스템의 설계시공 및 사후운영관리의 유용성을 위해 설계에 따른 시뮬레이션을 통한 성능특성과 주요 손실에 대한 평가분석이 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 30kW급 계통연계형 태양광발전시스템의 설계에 따른 시뮬레이션을 통하여 시스템의 성능특성과 주요 손실에 대하여 평가분석 하고자 한다.

  • This paper describes the process of levitation melting of metals in an axisymmetric induction heating system. This process has advantages of low heat losses, heating with short times and clean operating conditions. The shape of molten metal is determined using sensitivity analysis and optimization technique. Electromagnetic, gravitational and surface tension energies are considered, and these energies are used as an objective function in optimization process. Electromagnetic field are calculated using the finite element method. The fact that volume is constant in the process is also considered as an equality constraint.

  • 최근 유럽에서는 사용자와 운영자들의 요구에 부응하여 기존 DVB 위성 광대역 서비스에 대한 표준을 DVB-S에서 DVB-S2로 업그레이드 시켰다. DVB-S2는 ACM을 적용하여 여러 채널환경에서 기존의 표준보다 안정적인 전송과 높은 효율을 보여준다. DVB-S2 시스템은 FEC 알고리듬으로써 LDPC와 BCH를 사용하고 있다. LDPC는 R. G. Gallager에 의해 고안된 블록부호화 방식으로 검사행렬 H에서 1의 sparse 한 성질을 이용하여 큰 블록에서 더 좋은 성능을 발휘하도록 되어있다. 본 논문에서는 DVB-S2의 중요 서브시스템인 FEC블록 중 LDPC 복호기에 관하여 ACM을 적용하여 상위수준 시뮬레이션을 실시하였다. 실험결과 각 변조 방식 및 부호율에 따라서 BER이 SNR 0에서 14dB까지 넓게 분포함을 확인하였다. 그러므로 채널 환경에 따라 변조방식과 부호율을 달리하여 속도를 향상시키거나 데이터의 안정성을 높일 수 있다. 그리고 이 때 LDPC 복호기가 충분히 성능을 발휘함을 알 수 있다.

  • Distribution planning needs data of present loads, forecasted loads, sub-stations and distribution lines. Besides it needs a computer program for optimal analysis. In Kepco, The CADPAD system had been used for local distribution planning since 1989. Recently, we upgraded the I/O modules so easy to operate. And they can display optimal feeder planning on a real map. This paper is a case study of the West Inchun distribution planning using the CADPAD system. In this paper, not only optimal feeder designs and sub-station plannings, but also comparison and evaluation of various planning cases are suggested from the viewpoint of voltage drop and line losses.

  • This paper is concerned with transfer process on hot forging of bearing hub. Workers on hot forging have difficulty in working by high temperature and weight workpiece. And In conventional got forging of bearing hub, the material wasted to the flash accounts approximately 10% of the original workpiece. It is need manufacture automation and reduce the cost of forged products. Surface treatment of die and lubricant are investigated from experiment and FE-simulation for analysis of forming simulation. In order to hot forging process design considered flash thickness and blocker geometry and initial temperature of die and billet. This transfer process gave comparatively good results compared with actual products.

  • Six compounds were isolated from the stems of Acanthopanax senticosus (Araliaceae). Their structures were elucidated as iso-fraxidin, H-sesamin, 5-hydroxymethylfurfural, eleutheroside B, eleutheroside E and an unknown compound by spectral analysis. Of them, 5-hydroxymethylfurfural was isolated for the first time from A. senticosus.
