선박평형수 처리장치의 Scale-up을 위한 조건 최적화 연구 (A Study on the Optimization of Ballast Water Treatment System for Scale-up)

  • 선행연구에서는 2차오염이 없는 물리적 처리방법인 전단응력을 이용한 선박평형수 처리장치에 대하여 연구하였다. 정지상태의 외부 실린더와 회전하는 내부 실린더 사이에 발생하는 전단응력을 이용하여 다양한 미생물을 파쇄 처리하는 원리이며, 전단응력은 실린더 표면의 형태나 회전속도에 따라 크기가 달라진다. 전단응력의 크기와 전단응력을 받는 시간에 따라 멸균정도가 차이를 보이기 때문에, 다양한 조건에 따른 멸균효율을 밝히는 실험이 필요하며 이를 통해 상업용 장치의 제작을 위한 기초 자료를 마련하고자 하였다. 선행연구에서는 disk type과 cylinder type의 비교를 통하여 cylinder type이 우수함을 밝혔다. 본 연구에서는 선행연구를 통하여 얻은 결과를 바탕으로 cylinder type, groove type, knurling type의 표면 조건을 변화시켜 가장 우수한 조합을 밝혀냄과 동시에 실린더 사이의 간격에 따른 회전속도 및 유속 조건을 최적화 하고자하였다. 그 결과 groove type에서 250 mL/min의 유량조건에서는 8000 rpm 이상, 혹은 500 mL/min의 유량조건에서는 10000 rpm 이상에서 100% 살균 처리되는 결과를 얻었다.

  • IMO에서 규제중인 선박평형수의 처리기술은 현재 대부분 화학적 처리법 및 전기적인 처리방법을 주로 이용하고 있는데 이러한 방법들은 2차오염의 위험을 가지고 있으며 이를 방지하기 위하여 추가적인 장치가 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 전단력을 활용한 물리적인 방법을 이용하여 2차 오염 없이 선박평형수를 처리하는 방법을 연구하였다. 균일장치의 원리를 이용하여 전단응력으로 균을 파쇄시키는 원리인데, 내부 실린더와 외부 실린더의 표면이 매끄러운 경우에는 미끄럼 현상이 나타나 효율적인 살균효과를 얻기가 어려워서 전단응력의 크기를 변화시키는 다양한 요인 가운데 표면의 모양을 다르게 하여 두 가지 type의 장치에 대한 살균 성능을 비교하였다. 기본 장치는 cylinder type이나, 내부 실린더와 외부 실린더에 일정 간격과 깊이로 홈을 파낸 groove type과 멸균성능을 비교하였다. 그 결과 미끄럼을 방지한 groove type에서 cylinder type보다 우수한 결과를 나타내었다.

  • 본 연구에서는 수압반복시험 장비를 이용하여 70 MPa용 Type 3의 수소복합용기에 대한 거동과 용기내부에 압력이 가해졌을 때 용기 거동을 유한요소법으로 해석하였다. 그 결과, 안전성과 경량성으로 주목받고 있는 Type3 수소용기는 실린더부에서 파열이 먼저 시작되었으며, 유한요소해석 결과에서도 동일한 양상을 확인하였다. 시험결과로 용기내부에 압력이 가해짐에 따라 실린더 몸통부가 부풀어 올라 돔너클과 실린더 몸통부가 가장 취약함을 알 수 있었다.

  • This study deals with the taxonomy of the marine diatom Ditylum brightwellii (West) Grunow: shape, size and ratio, marginal ridge, labiate process, areolation, and seasonal distribution are all considered. Ditylum brightwellii were divided into two type; prism- and cylinder-shaped. Comparisons between specimens from the Yellow Sea were made on, (1) shape- prism types are prismatic-shaped and/or regular square or right-angled tetragon, cylinder types are cylinder-shaped and/or long right-angled tetragon in the girdle view, respectively; (2) size and ratiodiameters of prism types are 82.1 ± 2 μm, while those of cylinder types are 21.2 ± 5 μm and ratio of pervalvar axis/diameter- prism types cells are 1.0-1.5, but cylinder types are 3.9-5.5; (3) marginal ridges- prism types have dotted, while those of the cylinder-type cells have piece, slotted or fimbriated on the marginal ridge; (4) labiate process- both prism- and cylinder-types are central part in valve face, but length of labiate processes of prism types are longer than those of cylinder types; (5) cell margin- the girdle margin show many shallow furrows in prism type and smooth in cylinder type; (6) areolation- both prism- and cylinder-types are a radial pattern in the valve center, but areolae of prism types are larger than those of cylinder types; (7) seasonal distribution- cylinder types are dominated in summer and prism types in the other seasons.

콤플렉스법에 의한 롤러-링크 부착형 전도수문 구동용 유압실린더의 최적 설치점 설계 (Design of Optimal Locating Point of the Hydraulic Cylinder Actuating a Roller-Link Type Rotating Floodgate)

  • The hydraulic cylinder is used for actuating the roller-link type rotating floodgate which controls the volume of water in the reservoir. The locating points of hydraulic cylinder are restricted to the limited space and determined to minimize the cylinder force necessary for actuating the floodgate. Generally, the head end point of cylinder is fixed at underground and the rod end point of cylinder is connected to the support link. Therefore there exist three design variables to be determined to minimize the cylinder force within the rotating range of floodgate. First, the mathematical model of the roller-link type rotating floodgate is derived to find the cylinder force corresponding to the floodgate angle. Then, the optimal locating point of hydraulic cylinder is searched using the complex method that is one kind of constrained direct search method.

  • Lubrication characteristics between a cylinder block and a valve plate for high speed bent-axis type hydraulic pump play an important role in volumetric efficiency and durability of pump. In this paper, a finite element method is presented for the computation of the pressure distribution between a cylinder block and a valve plate for high speed bent-axis type hydraulic pump. Also, a Runge-Kutta method is applied to simulate the cylinder block dynamics of three-degrees of freedom motion. From the results of computation, we can draw two major conclusions. One is related to the fluid film characteristics between a cylinder block and a valve plate and the other is related to the average leakage that is determined by the pressure gradient and the clearance near the discharge port. The numerical results of cylinder block dynamics were compared with the experimental results using eddy-current type gap sensors those are fixed at a pump housing.

  • Object of this paper is to find the best shape of cylinder, flowing velocity of gas and state of pole with the cylinder wire magnet type. Also it is to analysis phenomena arising in the cylinder. So that general program FLUX2D has used for magnetic and electric field analysis at the cylinder wire magnet type. General program PHOENICS has used for cold or hot gases flowing analysis at the cylinder wire type with magnet.

흡입 밸브 각도에 따른 압축 행정 중 실린더 내 유동 특성 (In-Cylinder Compression Flow Characteristics According to Inlet Valve Angle)

  • A PIV(Particle Image Velocimetry) was applied to measure in-cylinder velocity field according to inlet valve angle during compression stroke. Two engines, one is conventional DOHC 4 valve and the other is narrow valve angle, were used to compare real compression flow. The results show that the flow patterns are well arranged compared with intake flow and the basic tumble flow structures are maintained until end compression stage regardless of valve angle. Also the results show that the tumble motion is intensified by momentum conservation during compression in normal engine. In the normal engine, the bulk shape of flow pattern is "Y" type at the top of cylinder and reverse "Y" type at the bottom of cylinder and weak reverse flow exists at the top of cylinder along cylinder center line. Otherwise, the other engine's flow pattern changes from "Y" type to "T" type at the top of cylinder during compression.

유압실린더 구동식 전도 수문의 실시간 모의시험기 개발 (Development of the Real-Time Simulator of a Turning-Type Sluice Gate Actuated by the Hydraulic Cylinder)

  • The real-time simulator of a turning-type sluice gate actuated by the hydraulic cylinders is developed using a PC and a visual C++ program language. The real-time simulator receives the directional control valve signal selected by the operator using the mouse, updates the state variables of the turning-type sluice gate system responding to the control signal, and draws the moving figures of the sluice gate, cylinder, reserved water every drawing time on the PC monitor. Also, the operator can observe the sluice gate angle, cylinder force, cylinder pressures, and hydraulic power representing the operation of sluice gate system through the PC monitor every drawing time. The simulator can be a very useful tool to design and improve the turning-type sluice gate system.

  • In this paper, the study is researched for related safety standards having experiments concerning temperature changes in type IV cylinder of the Hydrogen fuel cell vehicle. Experiments were performed to acquire temperature data of type IV cylinder according to filling time. The experimental results are shown that internal temperatures of type Ⅳ vessel are over $85^{\circ}C$ at all measured points after 5 minutes at filling 35 MPa and the highest temperature is getting lower when the residual gases are more remained. Consequently, the safety standards need properly limited value through further study for filling flow rate and filling time.
