중량물 적재를 위한 자동창고의 주기시간 평가 (Cycle Time Evaluation of Automated Storage and Retrieval System for Heavy Loads)

  • In this paper, a model is presented to estimate a cycle time for completing an operation in a new type of AS/RS which can handle very heavy loads by separating the mechnisms for vertical and horizontal movements. Considering loading/unloading time between devices, we generalize the previous work, Hu et al. [9], which neglected the transfer time. Through the numerical experiments for various situations, we find that the difference of the cycle times between two models is fairly large and conclude that the transfer time between devices cannot be neglected at all.

서보모터를 이용한 유압 하이브리드식 사출성형기의 공정시간 및 절전효과에 관한 연구 (A Study on Cycle Time and Power Saving Effect of a Hydraulic Hybrid Injection Molding Machine using a Servo Motor)

  • The cycle time and power saving effect of a hydraulic hybrid injection molding machine using a servo motor are considered in this paper. In order to verify control characteristics, such as pressure and speed, experiments were performed with the hydraulic hybrid injection molding machine, clamping force of 110 ton. The power consumption and production cycle time of a conventional hydraulic injection molding machine were measured to compare its performances with the hydraulic hybrid injection molding machine. An injection molding machine with a clamping force of 1300 ton was used as the conventional machine, the hybrid machine was implemented by replacing its induction motors with servo motors. In the remodeled hybrid machine, experiments were performed to investigate how the displacement of the mold clamping pump affects the power consumption and production cycle time. The results showed that the production cycle time of the hybrid injection molding is similar to a conventional hydraulic injection molding machine but with a significant energy saving of about 40%.

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the change of time use in employed husbands and their wives according to family life cycle. Data for 284 couples were gathered from the structured questionnaire and time diary. The major findings of this study were as follows; (1) The family life cycle had effected on the time use of wives changed remarkable. That is to say the housework time of the unemployed wives decreased after increasing to the second stage but the social-cultural time of those changed to the contrary. (2) The family life cycle affected only the husbands' housework time on the weekend but wasn't the important effect of time use in case of the employed husbands.

Real Time Traffic Signal Plan using Neural Network

  • In the past, when there were few vehicles on the road, the T.O.D.(Time of Day) traffic signal worked very well. The T.O.D. signal operates on a preset signal cycling which cycles on the basis of the average number of average passenger cars in the memory device of an electric signal unit. Now days, with increasing many vehicles on restricted roads, the conventional traffic light creates startup-delay time and end-lag-time. The conventional traffic light loses the function of optimal cycle. And so, $30-45\%$ of conventional traffic cycle is not matched to the present traffic cycle. In this paper we proposes electro sensitive traffic light using fuzzy look up table method which will reduce the average vehicle waiting time and improve average vehicle speed. Computer simulation results prove that reducing the average vehicle waiting time which proposed considering passing vehicle length for optimal traffic cycle is better than fixed signal method which doesn't consider vehicle length.

  • Although the product line produces a large volume of goods in a relatively short time, once the product line is established there are numerous problems that arise in connection with this product line. One of these problems is the problem of balancing operations or stations in terms of equal times and in terms of the times required to meet the desered rate of production. The objective of line balancing is minimizing the idle time on the line for all combinations of work stations subject to certain restrictions. In general, there are two types of line-balancing situations : (1) assembly line balancing and (2) fabrication line balancing. Two approaches to the assembly line balancing problem have been used. The first assumes a filed cycle time and find the optimum number of work stations. The second approach to the assembly line balancing problem assumes the number of work stations to be fixed and systematically coverages on a solution which minimizes the total delay time by minimizing the cycle time. Here the cycle time is determined by the longest station time. In this paper, by using the second approach method, a general mathematical model, problem solutions, and computer program for the assembly line balancing problem is presented. Data used is obtained from the company which has been confronted with many problems arising in connection with their assembly line.

Hi-CON/H2 BAF와 HNx BAF의 소둔사이클 제어온도에 관한 연구 (A Study on Annealing Cycle Control Temperature of Hi - CON/2 BAF and HNx BAF)

  • A cold temperature control system for the BAF(batch annealing furnace) has been established in order to reduce energy consumption to imrpove productivity and stabilize the properties of products. Therefore we confirmed a relation between annealing cycle time and atmospheric gas, changing annealing cycle time according to BAF temperature with time during heating and actual temperature measurements cold spot during soaking. The results of the temperature variation effect on the batch annealing are as follows. 1) Cooling rate is increasing gradually with increasing atmospheric gas flow, but heating rate is hardly increasing without atmospheric gas component. Heating time is reduced to one half with increasing atmospheric gas flow rate and changing of atmospheric gas component from HNx to Ax gas and annealing cycle time is reduce to 2.7 times. 2) With enlarging the difference between furnace temperature and soaking temperature at the HNx BAF, heating time becomes short, but cooling time is indifferent. 3) If temperature difference of 300.deg. C in the temperature change of cold spot according to the annealing cycle control temperature, Hi-CON/H2BAF is interchanging at each other at 26hours, but HNxBAF at 50 hours. 4) Soaking time at batch annealing cycle determination is made a decision by the input coil width, and soaking time for quality homogenization of 1219 mm width coil must be 2.5 hours longer then that of 914mm width coil for the same coil weight at Hi-CON/H2BAF. But, it is necessary to make 2 hours longer at HNxBAF.

  • This paper is researching the storing of 40 different kinds of conditions. Such as, car speed, delay in starting time and the volume of cars in traffic. Through the use of a central nervous networking system or AI, using 10 different intersecting roads. We will improve the green traffic light. And allow more cars to easily flow through the intersections.   • For an analysis of the performance of a computer system, the minimum cycle time method has been widely used. The minimum cycle time method is a mathematical technique with which we can find the minimum duration time needed to fire all the transitions at least once and coming back to the Initial marking in a timed net. A timed net is a modified version of a Petri net where a transition is associated with a delay time. In the real world, an event is associated with a probability of occurrence. However, a timed net is not equipped with any facility of specifying probability of event occurrence. Therefore, the minimum cycle time method applied on a timed net can easily overlook probabilities of occurrences of events and yield a wrong result. We are proposing 'Timed Net with Probabilities of Choices' where a transition can be associated with both delay time and a probability of occurrence. We also introduce an algorithm for minimum cycle time analysis on a 'Timed Net with Probabilities of Choices'. As an example of application, we are performing an analysis of the location based service system using 'Timed Net with Probabilities of Choices'.

  • Random Telegraph Signal(RTS)에 의한 1/f 잡음이 CMOS Ring Oscillator의 Phase Noise와 Jitter에 미치는 영향을 조사한다. 7단 Ring Oscillator의 각 노드에 병렬 연결된 10개의 Piece-Wise-Linear 전류원이 RTS 신호를 모델링 한다. RTS 전류원의 진폭과 Time Constant를 변화시키면서 Ring Oscillator 출력의 FFT 및 전력 스팩트럼 밀도, Jitter를 관찰한다. RTS 전류원의 진폭은 Phase Noise의 폭을 증가시키고 결과적으로 Jitter의 크기도 증가 시키는 것이 확인 되었다. 그리고 RTS Time Constant가 짧아질수록 출력 신호의 FFT peak의 폭이 커지고 Cycle to Cycle Jitter 값이 증가하였다.

RCB법에 의한 원통형 플런지 연삭공정의 싸이클 시간 감소에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Cycle Time Reduction of Cylindrical Plunge Grinding Process with Recursive Constraint Bounding Method)

  • This study presents the recursive constraint bounding(RCB) method to reduce the cycle time in internal cylindrical plunge grinding process. This method can cope with process noise as well as modeling bias. The main features of RCB method are its utilization of measurements at the end of each cycle and its use of monotonicity analysis for determining the extremes of bias and noise. This method is investigated in simulation and evaluated by experiment in internal cylindrical plunge grinding operation. The results from simulation and experiment show that it is effective in reducing cycle time in spite of modeling uncertainty in the forms of process noise and modeling bias.
