  • The purpose of this study is to provide some useful references to the educational field in terms of providing on analysis of job characteristics of fashion designers working in the women's wear industries. The data were collected from 102 fashion designers working in women's wear industries through the questionnaire and were analyzed by SPSS packages of frequencies and percentiles for comparative study, and the results are as follows: 1. The demographic characteristics of the fashion designers are; unmarried (80.4%), working less than 2 years (20.2%), completion of junior college(68.6%), majority ages between 20-24 yrs(43.1%). An average length of working in one company war less than 6 months. 2. The ratio computer usage of the design room was approx. 52.0% especially in the management of sales (52.9%) and the ratio in fashion design was approx. 17.6% in merchandising planning. 3. 76.4% of respondents was working 10 hours a day, and 50% of them was dissatisfied on the job caused by excessive working hour (31.4%) and job over load (35.3%). In the developing fashion design with the relation of actual job, insufficient knowledges of the concerned technical and production fields (68.6%) were indicated as the most difficult area. In addition, fashion magazines were considered as the most helpful resource(94.1%). 4. It was noted that the target age groups for the brand were clearly divided into two groups, notably the early and middle of twenties and the early and middle forties. Among the produced items, formal wears were accounted for 52.9%. 5. As far as the contents of job are concerned, the fashion designers are mostly engaged in purchasing textile, collecting informations of fashion, quality control, whereas their actual job is apparel design. 6. The training that the fashion designer received beside formal education includes attendance of private institutes(62.7%), OJT(7.8%), seminars(4.9%). Regarding formal education, the respond indicated that they had least opportunity to received computer training. 7. The necessary subjects in the schools for the fashion designers in relation to the current job were fashion information, merchandising planning, pattern making, cutting, fashion marketing, knowledges of clothing material in sequence. Subjects which are necessary for the further development include pattern making(21.6%), fashion marketing(14.7%), and designing with computer(7.8%).

  • Electrical resistance strain gauges, brittle-coatings, Moir'e fringe analysis, photoelasticity methods, etc, have been employed in the study of stress analysis and three-dimensional photoelasticity method used in this experiment. The author fabricated a total of 24 samples of maxillary and mandibular edentulous ridges with normal and sharp shapes using epoxy resin, one of the photoelastic materials. In addition, complete denture made from artificial resin teeth in other twoo sizes, large and medium size, were affixed to the specimens and attached to an articulator. The following results were attained by cutting 9 slice specimens into 6mm thick portions, in accordance with the three dimensional photoelastic stress freezing method, to analyze stress distribution status under specific static loading in the central, lateral and protrusive occlusions of the shape of edentulous ridge. 1. In the case of central occlusion, when complete resin artificial teeth in large and medium sizes were used on normal and sharp alveolar ridges, high stress distribution was broadly shown in the labio-buccal sides, and low and concentrated in the lingual sides, in all cases. Generally, the highest stresses were shown at the top of the alveolus, or at 2mm below the top of the alveolus, particularly in the specimen 2, 3, and stresses were more or less the same in the symmetrical right and left sides. 2. In the case of lateral occlusion, when the same load was applied, high stresses were shown broadly at the working sides in both the labio-buccal and lingual sides, and low and concentrated at the balanced sides. The highest stresses were shown in the top of the alveolus on the working sides in specimen 2 portion, and the lowest stresses at the balanced sides in specimen 6, slightly higher stresses were shown at retromolar parts in the balanced sides. 3. In the case of protrusive occlusion, high stresses were broadly shown at the labio-buccal sides, and slightly higher stresses at the top 2, 4, and 6mm parts of the alveolus with concentration. The highest stresses were shown in specimen No. 5 and the lowes stresses in specimen 1, 9 and stresses were more of less the same at the symmetrical right and left sides.

  • Recently, the ubiquitous is handled by maximum topic. New knowledge information and ubiquitous computing evolution have promoted new paradigm transfer and grand change. Also, need technology as powerful engineering approached fairly system and educational guidance side examination necessarily to overcome u-Learning base situation and studying obstacle situations. This treatise embodied handiness examination about attention shortage and excess obstacle (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, low ADHD) who must solve so as to be square and level being increase trend in primary school using USB (Universal Serial Bus) terminal system that allow fetters to OSGi (Open Service Gateway Initiative). That OSGi base USB terminal system is easy preservation of information, safety of network, cost-cutting and maintenance by various ubiquitous system that server that load many USB terminals and OSGi uses an USB bus of high speed and construct network, there is advantage of concentration elevation and so on of week and ADHD handled in this treatise because early diagnosis and treatment are serious. The confirmed system application that can supplement paper and pens examination's shortcoming and could solve examination's problem which use computer, and help in student guidance through ADHD simpleexamination who utilize OSGi base USB terminal system. Is available by game system that system for human nature examination or intelligence test and general exam explaining and level studying, order style question investigation program, studying system for disabled person, majority that enforce in public in school this study finding does together.

  • Recently, building materials and air purification filters with eco-friendly charcoal are actively studying to reduce the concentration of radon gas in indoor air. In this study, radon reduction performance was assessed by designing and producing new panel-type activated carbon filter that can be handled more efficiently than conventional charcoal filters, which can reduce radon gas. For the fabrication of our panel-type activated carbon filter, first the pressed molding product after mixing activated carbon powder and polyurethane. Then, through diamond cutting, the activated carbon filter of 2 mm, 4 mm and 6 mm thickness were fabricated. To investigate the physical characteristics of the fabricated activated carbon filter, a surface area and flexural strength measurement was performed. In addition, to evaluate the reduction performance of radon gas in indoor, the radon concentration of before and after the filter passes from a constant amount of air flow using three acrylic chambers was measured, respectively. As a result, the surface area of the fabricated activated carbon was approximately $1,008m^2/g$ showing similar value to conventional products. Also, the flexural load was found to have three times higher value than the gypsum board with 435 N. Finally, the radon reduction efficiency from indoor gas improved as the thickness of the activated carbon increases, resulting in an excellent radon removal rate of more than 90 % in the 6 mm thick filter. From the experimental results, the panel-type activated carbon is considered to be available as an eco-friendly building material to reduce radon gas in an enclosed indoor environment.
