기존 고속철도 터널의 지진취약도 함수 개발에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Development of the Seismic Fragility Functions of the High Speed Railway Tunnels in use)

  • 본 연구에서는 공용 중인 91개 고속철도 터널을 대상으로 단계별 내진성능평가를 실시하여 설계기준에서 제시하는 목표 내진성능 확보여부를 검토하였다. 또한 지진취약도 함수도 함께 개발하여 지진규모에 따른 시설물의 확률론적 피해예측이 가능하도록 하였다. 단계별 내진성능평가는 내진성능 예비평가 및 상세평가 순으로 실시하였으며, 평가결과 대상터널들은 설계기준 수준의 내진성능을 확보하는 것으로 분석되었다. 지진취약도 함수는 최대지반가속도(Peak Ground Acceleration, PGA)를 기준으로 한 대수 정규분포형태로 설정하였으며, 함수도출방법은 설계 PGA수준에 대한 손상발생확률을 이용하여 취약도함수의 모수를 결정하는 방식으로 하였다. 손상발생 검토부재는 라이닝콘크리트로서, 대상터널을 굴착식 터널(NATM 터널) 및 개착식 터널로 구분하여 각각에 대한 손상수준별 지진취약도 함수를 개발하였다. 이번연구에서 도출된 지진취약도 함수와 기존연구결과(FEMA, 2004)와의 비교 분석을 통하여 대상터널의 내진성능확보수준을 평가하였으며, 그 결과 대상터널이 기존연구의 대상인 재래식 터널(American Steel Support Method, ASSM)에 비하여 상대적으로 내진성능이 우수한 것으로 분석되었다.

IBC형 태양전지 제작을 위한 p-a-Si:H 증착층의 파이버 레이저 가공에 관한 연구 (Study on Fiber Laser Annealing of p-a-Si:H Deposition Layer for the Fabrication of Interdigitated Back Contact Solar Cells)

  • Using multi plasma enhanced chemical vapor deposition system (Multi-PECVD), p-a-Si:H deposition layer as a $p^+$ region which was annealed by laser (Q-switched fiber laser, $\lambda$ = 1064 nm) on an n-type single crystalline Si (100) plane circle wafer was prepared as new doping method for single crystalline interdigitated back contact (IBC) solar cells. As lots of earlier studies implemented, most cases dealt with the excimer (excited dimer) laserannealing or crystallization of boron with the ultraviolet wavelength range and $10^{-9}$ sec pulse duration. In this study, the Q-switched fiber laser which has higher power, longer wavelength of infrared range ($\lambda$ = 1064 nm) and longer pulse duration of $10^{-8}$ sec than excimer laser was introduced for uniformly deposited p-a-Si:H layer to be annealed and to make sheet resistance expectable as an important process for IBC solar cell $p^+$ layer on a polished n-type Si circle wafer. A $525{\mu}m$ thick n-type Si semiconductor circle wafer of (100) plane which was dipped in a buffered hydrofluoric acid solution for 30 seconds was mounted on the Multi-PECVD system for p-a-Si:H deposition layer with the ratio of $SiH_4:H_2:B_2H_6$ = 30:120:30, at $200^{\circ}C$, 50 W power, 0.2 Torr pressure for 20 minutes. 15 mm $\times$ 15 mm size laser cut samples were annealed by fiber laser with different sets of power levels and frequencies. By comparing the results of lifetime measurement and sheet resistance relation, the laser condition set of 50 mm/s of mark speed, 160 kHz of period, 21 % of power level with continuous wave mode of scanner lens showed the features of small difference of lifetime and lowering sheet resistance than before the fiber laser treatment with not much surface damages. Diode level device was made to confirm these experimental results by measuring C-V, I-V characteristics. Uniform and expectable boron doped layer can play an important role to predict the efficiency during the fabricating process of IBC solar cells.

광보상점 이하의 보광이 절화장미 'Vital'의 생육에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Supplemental Lighting of Sub-Compensation Intensities on Growth of Rosa hybrida L. 'Vital')

  • 동계 절화장미 'Vital'재배시 보광이 장미의 생육과 절화수량에 미치는 영향을 구명코자 하였다. 보광 광원은 250W의 메탈할라이드등, 고압나트륨등 및 혼합(메탈할라이드등+고압나트륨등)등을 베드 위 120cm 높이에 $310cm{\times}450cm$로 설치하였다. 보광등에서 1m 떨어진 지점의 광도는 $32{\sim}34{\mu}mol{\cdot}m^{-2}{\cdot}s^{-1}$였다. 보광구는 무처리구에 비해 개화소요일수가 1번화는 $5{\sim}8$일, 2번화는 $3{\sim}5$일 단축되었다. 보광구 간에는 혼합등이 개화소요일수가 가장 짧았고, 고압나트륨등, 메탈할라이드등 순 이었으나 차이가 크지 않았다. 생육도 보광구가 무처리구에 비해 좋았다 특히 블라인드 발생이 $5{\sim}7%$ 감소되어 절화수량 증가의 주 요인이었다. 보광구간에는 혼합등이 가장 좋았고, 메탈할라이드등, 고압나트륨등 순 이었으나 큰 차이는 없었다 결론적으로, 보상점보다 낮은 광도의 보광도 개화소요일수 단축 및 블라인드 발생억제에 효과적이었다.

Anti-Müllerian hormone levels as a predictor of clinical pregnancy in in vitro fertilization/intracytoplasmic sperm injection-embryo transfer cycles in patients over 40 years of age

  • Objective: The aim of the current study was to determine the predictive value of anti-$M{\ddot{u}}llerian$ hormone (AMH) levels for pregnancy outcomes in patients over 40 years of age who underwent in vitro fertilization or intracytoplasmic sperm injection-embryo transfer (IVF/ICSI-ET) cycles. Methods: We retrospectively analyzed the medical records of 188 women aged 40 to 44 years who underwent IVF/ICSI-fresh ET cycles due to unexplained infertility in the fertility center of CHA Gangnam Medical Center. Patients were divided into group A, with AMH levels <1.0 ng/mL (n=97), and group B, with AMH levels ${\geq}1.0ng/mL$ (n=91). We compared the clinical pregnancy rate (CPR) in the two groups and performed logistic regression analysis to identify factors that had a significant effect on the CPR. Results: The CPR was significantly lower in group A than group B (7.2% vs. 24.2%, p<0.001). In multivariate logistic regression analysis, AMH levels were the only factor that had a significant impact on the CPR (odds ratio, 1.510; 95% confidence interval, 1.172-1.947). The area under the receiver operating characteristic curve for AMH levels as a predictor of the CPR was 0.721. When the cut-off level of AMH was set at 1.90 ng/ mL, the CPR was 6.731-fold higher in the group with AMH levels ${\geq}1.90ng/mL$ than in the group with AMH levels <1.90 ng/mL (p<0.001). Conclusion: Our study showed that AMH levels were predictive of clinical pregnancy in infertility patients over 40 years of age. Further prospective studies should be conducted to validate the predictive capability of AMH levels for the outcome of clinical pregnancy.

응급실에 내원한 두부외상환자의 2차 평가로써 초음파를 이용한 시각신경집 지름 측정은 유용한가? (Availability of the Optic Nerve Sheath Diameter Measured by Using Ultrasonography as a Secondary Survey for Patient with Head Injuries in the Emergency Department)

  • Purpose: Bedside ultrasonography is available in most emergency departments, and detecting the intracranial pressure is elevated is critical. Our objective is to evaluate the availability of bedside optic nerve ultrasound (ONUS) as a secondary survey for patients with head injuries in the emergency department (ED). Methods: From September, 2012, to March, 2013, we performed a prospective study of patients presenting to the ED after an accident. Patients with head injuries but without obvious ocular trauma or ocular disease were included. The ONUS was performed using a 3 to 12 MHz linear probe on closed eyelids after a primary survey. We analyzed the correlation between the brain computed tomography (CT) findings that suggested elevated intracranial pressure (ICP) and the Optic nerve sheath diameter (ONSD) measured by using ONUS. Results: A total of 81 patients were enrolled. Forty-seven had CT results consistent with elevated ICP, and their mean ONSD was $5.98{\pm}0.59$ mm; the mean ONSD of patients who showed no signs of elevated ICP on CT was $4.63{\pm}0.21$ mm. The sensitivity and the specificity for the ONSD, compared with elevated ICP, were 98.87% and 100%, respectively, when the cut-off value was set to 4.96 mm. The area under curve (AUC) was 0.997 in the receiver operating characteristic curve (ROC curve). Conclusion: An evaluation using ONUS is a simple noninvasive procedure and is a potentially useful tool as a secondary survey to identify an elevated ICP.

임플랜트 지지 고정성 국소의치의 임상적, 방사선학적 평가 (CLINICAL AND RADIOGRAPHICAL EVALUATION OF IMPLANT-SUPPORTED FIXED PARTIAL PROSTHESES)

  • Statement of problem: A conventional 3-unit fixed partial denture design with a pontic between two retainers is the most commonly used. However in cases where the mental nerve is in close proximity to the second premolar, a cantilever design can be considered. As such, logical and scientific evidence is lacking for the number and position of implants to be placed for partially edentulous patients, and no clear-cut set of treatment principles currently exist. Purpose : The purpose of this study was to evaluate prognosis of implant-supported fixed partial dentures and to compare changes in bone level which may rise due to the different factors. Material and method : The present study examined radiographical marginal bone loss in patients treated with implant-supported fixed partial dentures (87 prostheses supported by 227 implants) and evaluated the influence of the span of the pontic, type of the opposing dentition. Clinical complications were studied using a retrospective method. Within the limitation of this study. the following result were drawn Result, 1. Seven of a total of 227 implants restored with fixed prostheses failed, resulting in a 96.9% success rate. 2. Complications encountered during recall appointments included dissolution of temporary luting agent (17 cases), porcelain fracture (8 cases), loosened screws (5 cases), gingival recession (4 cases), and gingival enlargement (1 case). 3. Marginal bone loss, 1 year after prosthesis placement, was significant(P<0.05) in the group that underwent bone grafting, however no difference in annual resorption rate was observed afterwards. 4. Marginal bono loss, 1 year post-placement, was greater in cantilever-type prostheses than in centric pontic protheses (P<0.05). 5. Marginal bone loss was more pronounced in posterior regions compared to anterior regions (P<0.05). 6. The degree of marginal bone loss was proportional to the length of the pontic (P<0.05). Conclusion: The success rate of implant-supported fixed partial dentures, including marginal bone loss, was satisfactory in the present study. Factors influencing marginal bone loss included whether bone graft was performed, location of the pontic (s), location of the surgical area in the arch pontic span. Long-term evaluation is necessary for implant-supported fixed partial dentures, as are further studies on the relationship between functional load and the number of implants to be placed.

정수슬러지 탈수효율 향상을 위한 전기필터프레스탈수에 관한 연구 (A Study on Electrodewatering Filter Press Technology for Improvement of Dewarterability of Waterworks Sludge)

  • 정수 슬러지의 감량화와 탈수장치의 성능향상을 위하여 필터프레스 탈수장치의 각 Plate 사이에 음극판과 양극판을 설치하여 케이크 층에 전기장을 투입하는 전기식 필터프레스 탈수장치(EDFP)를 구축하여 기존의 기계식 필터프레스 탈수장치(MDEF)와의 탈수성 비교, 그리고 EDFP의 탈수성 향상에 따른 경제적인 측면 등을 분석하였다. 동일조건에서 탈수실험을 수행한 결과 EDFP를 통해 배출된 여액량은 43.2 kg으로 MDFP에 비하여 증가하였으며, 케이크 무게는 4 kg으로 MDFP에 비해 2배 증가하였고 탈수 케이크의 함수율은 55 wt%로 MDFP에 비하여 약 20% 감소하였으며 탈수속도는 2.3 $kg/m^2{\cdot}cycle$로 약 30% 증가하였다. 즉 전기탈수(Electrodewatering)의 원리로 구축된 EDFP는 기계탈수(Mechanical Dewatering)에 의한 MDFP 비하여 여액배출량을 증가시키고 저함수율 탈수 케이크를 생산하며 탈수속도를 증가시키는 특성이 있다. EDFP의 소모된 전력량은 400 kwh/DS ton으로, 투입된 전력량과 저함수율 탈수 케이크 생산에 따른 부피 감소로 인한 처리경비 저하의 효과를 서로 고려하여 경제성을 분석한 결과 1 ton(Dry Solid base) 처리하는데 약 20,000원 경제적 절감 효과가 있었다. 이 외 탈수속도가 빨라진 부가적 이점을 감안하면, EDFP는 탈수 성능 면에서 우수할 뿐만 아니라 경제적 타당성이 있는 장치로 평가할 수 있다.

Geotechnical Engineering Progress with the Incheon Bridge Project

  • Incheon Bridge, 18.4 km long sea-crossing bridge, will be opened to the traffic in October 2009 and this will be the new landmark of the gearing up north-east Asia as well as the largest & longest bridge of Korea. Incheon Bridge is the integrated set of several special featured bridges including a magnificent cable-stayed girder bridge which has a main span of 800 m width to cross the navigation channel in and out of the Port of Incheon. Incheon Bridge is making an epoch of long-span bridge designs thanks to the fully application of the AASHTO LRFD (load & resistance factor design) to both the superstructures and the substructures. A state-of-the-art of the geotechnologies which were applied to the Incheon Bridge construction project is introduced. The most Large-diameter drilled shafts were penetrated into the bedrock to support the colossal superstructures. The bearing capacity and deformational characteristics of the foundations were verified through the world's largest static pile load test. 8 full-scale pilot piles were tested in both offshore site and onshore area prior to the commencement of constructions. Compressible load beyond 30,000 tonf pressed a single 3 m diameter foundation pile by means of bi-directional loading method including the Osterberg cell techniques. Detailed site investigation to characterize the subsurface properties had been carried out. Geotextile tubes, tied sheet pile walls, and trestles were utilized to overcome the very large tidal difference between ebb and flow at the foreshore site. 44 circular-cell type dolphins surround the piers near the navigation channel to protect the bridge against the collision with aberrant vessels. Each dolphin structure consists of the flat sheet piled wall and infilled aggregates to absorb the collision impact. Geo-centrifugal tests were performed to evaluate the behavior of the dolphin in the seabed and to verify the numerical model for the design. Rip-rap embankments on the seabed are expected to prevent the scouring of the foundation. Prefabricated vertical drains, sand compaction piles, deep cement mixings, horizontal natural-fiber drains, and other subsidiary methods were used to improve the soft ground for the site of abutments, toll plazas, and access roads. Light-weight backfill using EPS blocks helps to reduce the earth pressure behind the abutment on the soft ground. Some kinds of reinforced earth like as MSE using geosynthetics were utilized for the ring wall of the abutment. Soil steel bridges made of corrugated steel plates and engineered backfills were constructed for the open-cut tunnel and the culvert. Diverse experiences of advanced designs and constructions from the Incheon Bridge project have been propagated by relevant engineers and it is strongly expected that significant achievements in geotechnical engineering through this project will contribute to the national development of the longspan bridge technologies remarkably.

데이터의 공간적 분포를 고려한 퍼지 이산화와 특징선택에의 응용 (Fuzzy discretization with spatial distribution of data and Its application to feature selection)

  • 임상 데이터마이닝에서 최적의 특징 집합을 선택하는 것은 주어진 데이터로부터 생성된 모델의 복잡성을 줄일 뿐만 아니라 유용성을 향상시키는 데에 매우 중요하고, 선택된 특징들의 임계값은 질병의 감별진단을 위해 임상 전문가의 결정기준으로 사용된다. 본 논문에서는 데이터의 공간적인 분포, 즉 중첩영역에서 중복 속성값을 포함하는 데이터의 분리성 정도를 평가함으로써 연속형 속성을 가진 데이터에 대한 퍼지 이산화기법을 제안한다. 제안된 방법에서 중복 속성값의 가중치 평균값은 각 특징의 임계값(즉 경계값)을 결정하기 위해서 사용되었고, 러프집합은 전체 특징들 중에서 중요특징들의 집합을 선택하기 위해서 이용하였다. 제안된 방법의 타당성을 검증하기 위해 호흡곤란을 주호소로 내원한 668명의 환자 데이터를 근거로 3가지 이산화방법과 제안된 이산화방법에 대한 실험을 수행하였다. 실험결과, 퍼지분할을 기반으로 한 이산화방법이 하드분할을 기반으로 한 이산화방법에 비해서 평균 분류정확도와 G-mean 성능에서 보다 좋은 결과를 제공함을 확인하였다.

EF 센서기반 손동작 신호 감지 및 자동 프레임 추출 (EF Sensor-Based Hand Motion Detection and Automatic Frame Extraction)

  • 본 논문에서는 사람의 손동작에 의해 모바일장치상의 전기장센서를 통해 감지되는 동작신호의 실시간 검출 및 프레임 추출 알고리즘을 제안한다. 동작인식에 사용되는 전기장센서는 주변 환경 및 시점에 따라 랜덤잡음 및 센서 표면의 초기 대전상태의 가변적인 특성으로 인해 안정적으로 동작신호를 검출하는데 어려움이 있다. 본 논문에서는 이와 같은 환경에서도 안정적이고 강건하게 동작신호를 감지하여 검출할 수 있는 동적문턱치 방법(dynamic thresholding method)을 제안한다. 동작발생감지여부는 10Hz low-pass 필터와 MA(Motion Average) 필터를 통한 입력신호가 특정 문턱 전압값을 넘을 경우 감지되는데 감지 시점 센서상의 정전하상태가 가변적이므로 주기적으로 offset 값을 계산하여 새로운 문턱치를 동적으로 적용하는 방법이다. 이러한 방법으로 동작신호 감지율을 98% 이상으로 향상 시킬 수 있었다. 또한 일단 동작이 감지되면 정문턱치(positive thresold)와 부문턱치(negative threshold)의 통과시점, 횟수와 평균 동작주기를 고려한 동작신호프레임 알고리즘을 제안하였으며 이의 프레임추출 성공률도 98% 이상의 성능을 보였다. 본 논문에서 제안한 알고리즘으로 추출된 동작신호는 이후 신호정규화를 거쳐 LSTN 심층신경망 인식부를 거쳐 높은 손동작 인식률을 보임으로서 제안된 알고리즘의 우수함을 입증하였다.
