초.중등 영어교사를 위한 맞춤형 심화 연수 모형 개발 연구 (A study on the development of customized intensive in-service teacher training program models for elementary/secondary school teachers of English)

  • The present study reports on a study of the development of customized intensive in-service English teachers training programs (IIETTP) reflecting on the demands of elementary/secondary school English teachers. For the purpose of study, a survey was conducted with 1,033 English teachers at elementary/secondary schools across the country. The results showed by and large no significant differences by school level, albeit some slight differences were revealed such as in training times, training methods, the percentages of teaching English in English (TEE), and other things. Since the two IIETTP models are presented as basic formats, they can be modified and applied according to the contexts of schools and the demands of trainees.

사서교사의 맞춤형 심화연수 프로그램용 연수과목에 대한 선호도 분석 (An Analysis of Teacher Librarians' Preference on Subjects for their Customized Intensive In-Service Training Program)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 사서교사의 교원능력개발 평가지표별 맞춤형 심화연수 프로그램용 연수과목에 대한 선호도를 분석하여 성공적인 현직연수 설계를 위한 기초자료를 제공하는 것이다. 설문 분석 결과 사서교사들은 독서교육, 정보활용교육과 같이 교육정보봉사 영역과 관련된 연수과목을 핵심 업무로 인식하고 있으며, 교육용 콘텐츠 개발과 수업용 자료 개발에 대한 선호도가 높은 것으로 나타났다. 학교급별로는 초등학교 사서교사가 도서관 활성화 프로그램, 자원봉사자 관리, 이용자 요구 및 교육과정 분석, 이용자 교육 평가 그리고 정보활용교육 평가를 선호하는 것으로 나타났다. 특히 연령이 높을수록 메타 데이터에 대한 이해, 정보시스템 구축 그리고 정보시스템과 교육지원에 대한 선호도가 높았다. 따라서 사서교사 연수과목은 학교도서관 교육과 교육과정 연계 방법을 중심으로 구성하고, 연수 방법은 이론 중심의 강의보다는 사례 연구와 개발 중심으로 이루어지는 것이 바람직하다.

해양플랜트인력양성을 위한 교육과정개발에 대한 연구 (A Study on Education Curriculum for Human Resource of Offshore Plant)

  • Offshore plants is an intensive industry where real value is able to be created when EPCIC(Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Installation, Commissioning) is combined. Many universities and educational institutions have established major fields and graduate schools related in offshore construction and engineering as well as safety training and occupational courses. Most of the personnel who have graduated and passed those educational institutions have been working in domestic shipbuilding companies and marine equipment manufacturers. Therefore, customized education and training should be developed according to the educational demands required and then skilled personnel are needed to be supplied at proper times. This study, therefore, has found personnel demands inside and outside the country and occupational sections of offshore plants. Consequently, this study suggests making up a council comprised of shipbuilding companies, marine equipment manufacturers and educational institutions with government organization, and also researches the necessity of getting a job of personnel trained by the customized education. These results are expected to contribute to the development of education curriculum of domestic offshore plant as well as ODC(Offshore Development Center).

중환자실 간호사의 심리적 임파워먼트와 의료관련감염 관리의 인지도 및 수행도 (Awareness and Performance of Healthcare-Associated Infections Control and Psycological Empowerment of Intensive Care Unit Nurses)

  • Purpose: This study was conducted to examine psychological empowerment and awareness and performance of Healthcare-Associated Infections(HAIs) control among Intensive Care Unit (ICU) nurses. Method: The data for this study were collected using structured questionnaires from 178 nurses working in the ICUs of four hospitals with more than 500 beds. Results: The subjects'psychological empowerment, awareness and performance of HAIs control were mean over. The subjects'psychological empowerment showed statistically significant differences depending on age, marital status, academic background, clinical career, ICU career, and position and experience in infection control among their general characteristics. Awareness of HAIs control showed statistically significant differences depending on age, gender, marital status, clinical career, and ICU career. Performance showed statistically significant differences depending on age, gender, marital status, and, ICU career. Regarding the subjects' performance of HAIs control, there was a statistically significant positive correlation between psychological empowerment and awareness. Conclusion: It was found that it is necessary to strengthen differential customized training according to the subjects'characteristics for effective HAIs control, and to strengthen the nurses'awareness of HAIs control through systematic evaluation, monitoring, and feedback, as well as continuous education and training.

지역사회기반 참여연구 방법에 입각한 단기집중 방문재활프로그램 질적 평가: 치료사와 대상자 심층면담을 중심으로 (A Qualitative Evaluation of Short-Term Intensive Home-Based Rehabilitation Program for Disabilities Through In-Depth Interview: Community-Based Participatory Research Approach)

  • Background: The Community-Based Participatory Research (CBPR) approach is recognized in the field of health promotion as a way to optimize intervention for promoting health by taking into account specific social, economical, and institutional situations of the community. However, the CBPR approach has not been applied in the field of community-based rehabilitation. Objects: This study was conducted to explore the self-perceived satisfaction of therapists and disabilities on the Short-term Intensive Home-based Rehabilitation (SIHR) program developed using the CBPR approach as well as determine the points that need improvement. Methods: This research was conducted through in-depth interviews. The SIHR program was developed, applied, and evaluated by both the researchers and four therapists on the basis of the CBPR approach. The SIHR program was administered to four disability for 1 hour a day, 2 or 3 times a week, for 8 weeks, and their self-rehabilitation was monitored once a week for 4 weeks. After all intervention periods, in-depth interviews were conducted by using a semi-structured questionnaire for the therapists and disability. Results: The therapists were satisfied with the contents of the SIHR program, such as behavioral change technique and goal-directed training. They were also satisfied with the process of developing the program through a community network. Disabilities were satisfied with the therapists' persuasive and emotionally interactive way of delivering the SIHR program as well as the individually customized rehabilitation training and physical improvement. The short period (8 weeks) of the SIHR program was noted by both therapists and disabilities as the part that needs improvement. Conclusion: The SIHR program developed using the CBPR approach was feasible and satisfying to therapists and disabilities. However, a longer SIHR program should be developed. Community networks could help therapists effectively utilize community resources and thereby provide more rehabilitation program for persons with disability.

캄보디아 초등교육 및 초등교사 쟁점 분석과 교육개발협력에의 시사점 탐색 (Issues on Primary Education and Teachers in Cambodia: Implications to Education Development Cooperation)

  • 본 연구는 아시아의 개발도상국가인 캄보디아의 열악한 교육 문제를 해결하기 위한 근간으로서 초등교육 환경과 교사 쟁점을 분석하고 제 발전 방향을 탐색하는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 캄보디아의 초등교육 환경과 그 특성은 무엇인지 분석하고, 교육 개혁을 이끄는 주체로서 '교사'에 주목하면서 캄보디아 초등교사 양성 제도 및 교사의 자격 수준의 제 실태를 고찰하였다. 그 결과 캄보디아 초등교육 환경 특성과 쟁점에서는 여전히 열악한 교육 여건과 질적으로 낮은 교육접근성 문제를 파악하였고, 교사의 낮은 역량 및 교육의 질 저하, 그리고 초등교사의 현직 연수 시스템 취약 문제를 분석하였다. 그리하여 교육의 질을 향상시키기 위한 다양한 방향 탐색이 제안되었다.

Crack segmentation in high-resolution images using cascaded deep convolutional neural networks and Bayesian data fusion

  • Manual inspection of steel box girders on long span bridges is time-consuming and labor-intensive. The quality of inspection relies on the subjective judgements of the inspectors. This study proposes an automated approach to detect and segment cracks in high-resolution images. An end-to-end cascaded framework is proposed to first detect the existence of cracks using a deep convolutional neural network (CNN) and then segment the crack using a modified U-Net encoder-decoder architecture. A Naïve Bayes data fusion scheme is proposed to reduce the false positives and false negatives effectively. To generate the binary crack mask, first, the original images are divided into 448 × 448 overlapping image patches where these image patches are classified as cracks versus non-cracks using a deep CNN. Next, a modified U-Net is trained from scratch using only the crack patches for segmentation. A customized loss function that consists of binary cross entropy loss and the Dice loss is introduced to enhance the segmentation performance. Additionally, a Naïve Bayes fusion strategy is employed to integrate the crack score maps from different overlapping crack patches and to decide whether a pixel is crack or not. Comprehensive experiments have demonstrated that the proposed approach achieves an 81.71% mean intersection over union (mIoU) score across 5 different training/test splits, which is 7.29% higher than the baseline reference implemented with the original U-Net.

상생형 스마트공장 도입기업과 미도입기업의 성과분석에 관한 연구 (A Study on Performance Analysis of Companies Adopting and Not Adopting Win-win Smart Factories)

  • A Smart factories are systems that enable quick response to customer demands, reduce defect rates, and maximize productivity. They have evolved from manual labor-intensive processes to automation and now to cyber-physical systems with the help of information and communication technology. However, many small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) are still unable to implement even the initial stages of smart factories due to various environmental and economic constraints. Additionally, there is a lack of awareness and understanding of the concept of smart factories. To address this issue, the Cooperation-based Smart Factory Construction Support Project was launched. This project is a differentiated support project that provides customized programs based on the size and level of the company. Research has been conducted to analyze the impact of this project on participating and non-participating companies. The study aims to determine the effectiveness of the support policy and suggest efficient measures for improvement. Furthermore, the research aims to provide direction for future support projects to enhance the manufacturing competitiveness of SMEs. Ultimately, the goal is to improve the overall manufacturing industry and drive innovation.

지역사회 고혈압·당뇨병등록관리사업 참여를 통한 주민의 건강관리경험 (Health Management Experience of Residents through Participation in the Community Based Hypertension and Diabetes Registry Program)

  • Purpose: This study was conducted to explore the healthcare experience of residents participating in the Community-Based Hypertension and Diabetes Registry Program. Methods: This study used qualitative content analysis. Data were collected from in depth interviews of fifteen participants, who either participated in the program hosted by the Training Center for Hypertension and Diabetes for more than two years or participated in an intensive one-on-one education program. Results: The results showed that the core theme in healthcare of participants was 'Proactive healthcare with attention and systematic guidance of experts'. The positive reinforcement of staffs and the improvement of self-efficacy through effective close management were found to be positive influencing factors of participation. The theme consisted of the following categories: 'Participation in the program with positive expectations on healthcare', 'Interest in body and health', 'Vitality in life', 'Confidence in dealing with disease', 'Thankfulness for close care and attention', and 'Desire for continuous care'. Conclusion: When establishing policies on managing chronic diseases, a strategy that reflects the results of the study is required. It is necessary to build up emotional relationship among stakeholders, and expand opportunities for close healthcare such as one-on-one customized training, and mutual cooperation with various organizations in the local community.

경찰윤리의 실태분석 및 개선방안에 관한 연구 (A Study of Analysis and Improvement of Police Ethics)

  • 현재 경찰에서는 모든 치안역량과 법집행의 수준을 국민의 눈높이에 맞추고 치안정책의 방향을 국민이 원하는 것에 우선순위를 두어 '국민이 행복한 치안강국 대한민국'을 구현하는데 최선의 노력을 다하고 있다. 이러한 가운데 국민들은 최 일선에서 법집행을 담당하고 있는 경찰에 대해 그 어떤 조직보다도 고강도의 도덕성과 청렴성을 요구하고 있다. 경찰조직 차원에서 경찰윤리의 제고를 위해 다양한 방안을 제시하면서 경찰관들의 윤리 의식 제고에 노력해 오고 있지만 아직까지 미흡하다는 것이 대체적인 의견이다. 본 연구는 현재 경찰의 윤리실태를 분석한 뒤 다음과 같이 개선방안을 제시하였는데, 이를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 경찰윤리교육의 강화 및 프로그램의 개선이다. 이의 실천을 위해서는 전문성 있는 교 강사의 확보와 함께 맞춤형 윤리교육의 실시가 필요하다. 둘째, 인성검사의 대상을 확대해야 한다. 현재 경정이하로 그 대상을 한정하고 있는데, 이를 전체 경찰관으로 확대하여야 한다. 셋째, 조직문화의 개선이다. 이를 위해서는 주기적인 멘토링 제도의 도입과 함께 계도지향적인 감찰활동의 전환이 필요하다. 넷째, 인력증원으로 업무 부담을 경감시켜야 한다. 경찰인력 부족을 일정 부분 해소할 경우 집중적이고 효율적인 윤리교육을 실시할 수 있을 것이다. 다섯째, 경찰관 스트레스 해소방안의 마련이다. 이를 위해서는 경찰조직 자체의 부단한 노력이 필요하다.
