For competitiveness of national B2C (Business to Customer) service industry, improvement of process and analysis focused on customer and change of service system are needed. The purpose of this study is to find customer satisfaction at take-out coffee shops by examining their choice attributes, and to find the operational suggestion of the shops by identifying relations between customer satisfaction and choice factors and by finding significant factors, in order to offer subsequential developments for take-out coffee shops. When it comes to choosing a take-out coffee shop, women are found to consider pleasantness, kindness, and warranty more than men do. By age, those in the thirties are found to think much of typicalness, pleasantness, and trust than people in any age do, while those under the twenties kindness. By job, it is found that office workers think typicalness, pleasantness to be important, while students trust The more customers are satisfied at trust and kindness, the more customers are willing to use the shop again. Thus, to make the better service of take-out coffee shops, it requires drastic, continuous training for employees, introduction of specific marketings, management of corporate brand images, manpower administration that will maximize profits with small members, continuous menu development, study of taste, stage preparation and standardized service quality techniques and know-how specific to a coffee shop that will lead customers to revisit the shop.
The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of a quality assesment of a university dormitory foodservice on the satisfaction degree, value awareness and relationship intention toward the foodservice. A total of 328 questionnaires were completed. Using SPSS package, Cronbach's alpha, analysis of variance and multiple regression analysis were applied. The results are as follows. First, the quality assessment of the foodservice varied depending on the period of service utilization. Customers of less than one year rated the nutrition supply of the university foodservice the highest, followed by those who were customers for more than 3 years and those who were customers for 2 to 3 years, respectively. Second, the quality assessment of the foodservice was substantially influenced by price as compared to service quality. Third, the quality assessment was significantly influenced by the price appropriateness of the foodservice. Fourth, foodservice assessment items such as customer-centeredness, pursuit of nutrition supply and food quality had a meaningful effect on the satisfaction degree toward the university foodservice. Fifth, customer-centeredness, pursuit of nutrition supply and food quality had a significant effect on relationship intention. Sixth, among the items of value awareness for the foodservice, value assessment as compared to service quality, and not price appropriateness, greatly affected the relationship intention. Seventh, the overall degree of satisfaction for the foodservice affected the relationship intention.
In order to meet competitive power, foodservice should aim to satisfy customers through distinguished quality and service as well as speciality and know-how. Especially, in coming 2000 year will be openned ASEM, 2001 will be the "Year to visit Korea", 2002 will be openned Korea-Japan Soccer World Cup, with these event as a momentum the domestic foodservice industry would be continuously increased and improved. Foodservice industry is the tertiary industry with the potentiality, tremendous popularity, premanancy and future-orient, it is gradually taking root as a basic industry after going through the industrialization. Furthermore, foodservice industry aim to satisfy customer based on quality, services, cleanliness, atmosphere, timing and value, besides, it is customer closeby service which to supply value and satisfaction through systemization, being manual, being technological renovation. Strategic management of foodservice industry is as following: Firstly, marketing strategy requires positing strategy to recongnize self-brand to the customer, thus requires to get hold how to take firm in customers′ mind. And then distingushed strategy requires. So somehow it is important to secure competitive in customers′ mind. Secondaryly, it requires strategy of competive advantegy. It is not to improve unique core competence of industry which is developed and studies for a long time but to pursuit diversfication based on core of industry Thirdly, it requires strategy of customer satisfaction. In these modern days it is important how much to satisfy customer, as it could be not expect continuous frowth and development without strategy of customer satisfaction. Therefore strategy of customer satisfaction is a necessary condition for the foodservice industry.
Purpose: The purpose of this research paper is to explore what factors that affect customer purchase decisions in the online environment, particularly after the COVID-19 pandemic in the case of Vietnamese customers. Research Design, Data and Methodology: To clarify which factor has the most significant impacts on online purchasing decision-making process, this study proposed a research model including factors such as customer trust, proposensity to trust, system assurance, the quality of website design, attitude, and customer satisfaction. This study collected the data via online survey. Data analysis was conducted by AMOS 25.0 using the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) method. Result: The results of this study shows that the purchase decisions were positively affected by customers' attitude, satisfaction, trust, and the quality of websites design. Additionally, factors such as perceived size and reputation and system assurance, have impacts on buyers' trust, while the propensity to trust has no significant impact. Conclusion: This study provides managerial implications. The results provide which factors should be improved to foster trust, attitude, customer satisfaction, and purchase decision in the online environment. The results also provide managerial implication on marketing strategies how to enhance better relationships with customers and to consider environmental issues in the era of post COVID-19.
Purpose - As the role of salespersons in retail stores has expanded from selling products to sharing brand experiences with customers, the importance of research on the effects of salesperson-brand relationships has grown. The purpose of this research is to investigate the influences of salespersons' brand identification on conceptual fluency and customers' service and brand evaluations. It was supposed that salespersons' brand identification is affected by brand knowledge, which is a core dimension of internal branding. Research design, data, and methodology - The author developed a structural model in which salespersons' brand knowledge influences brand identification, hence customers' perception of salesperson-brand image congruence. And it is hypothesized that salesperson-brand image congruence influences conceptual fluency which affects customers' satisfaction and brand evaluation. Data were collected from five department stores in Seoul. Results - First, salespersons' brand knowledge was found to have a significant effect on brand identification. The more a salesperson knows about the affiliated brand, the higher her level of brand identification. Second, salespersons' brand identification influenced salesperson-brand image congruence. Third, salesperson-brand image congruence had a significant effect on brand conceptual fluency. Customers who perceive salesperson-brand image congruent are more likely to process information easily. Finally, conceptual fluency was found to be a significant determinant of store loyalty and brand value evaluation. Conclusions - The results of this study verify importance of salesperson's brand identification on customers' service and brand evaluations. To enhance salespersons' brand identification, retailers should emphasize the importance of internal branding and communication, especially by sharing brand vision, values, and identity with employees at customer contact points. Also, as brand conceptual fluency is a significant determinant of customer responses, retailers need to deliver consistent messages through various components of store environments, including salespersons' attitudes, appearances, and manners, as well as physical store design. With a deeper understanding of the effects of salesperson-brand relationship and brand conceptual fluency, retailers will be able to create more effective brand strategies to enhance their performances. Future studies should consider data from various retail types, such as discount stores, to generalize the findings.
The purpose of this study is to examine the level of customers' cognition, the patterns of shopping and the level of satisfaction for foods sold in "24-hour market stor", and thus to provide a guideling for establishment of 24-hour market store", and thus to provide a guideline for establishment of 24-hour market store, development of Korean-style food, and enhancement of desirable habit of eating. The study conducted a survey for the young customers (13-19 years old) and the old customers (20-38 years old), the residents in Tague City, for the period Sept. 1-Sept.30. The survey administered to a total of 700 respondents, and finally received 646 ansers. Data analysis incorporates Chi-square test, univariate analysis, Scheffe's test, and correlation analysis, running SPSS Pc+(Statistical Package for Social Science). The results were drawn as follows: In terms of the level of cognition, results show a high level in the aspects of availability, convenience, time-saving in cooking, a variety of goods, easy custody: a medium level in the aspects of taste and sanitation: a low level in the aspects of cheapness and import of foreign food, In terms of customers' shopping patterns, the results show that the respondents answered the most convenience in 24-hour open and nearby location. Shopping was mostly done during the evening time between 18:00 and 22:00, and frequently during the mid-night time. Most of the residents needed a high level in the price. in terms of the level of customers' satisfaction, the results show a high level in the aspects of convenience, packing, and variety ; a medium level in the aspects of taste and sanitation ; a low level in the aspects of nutrition, price, import of foreign goods.
The purpose of this study was to investigate Chinese customers' perceptions of Korean foods and their satisfaction toward Korean cuisine restaurants. The subjects of this study were 202 Chinese individuals who visited Korean cuisine restaurants in Shanghai, China. The subjects viewed Korean foods as favorite foods and perceived them as fresh and seasonal, and mostly composed of cereals and vegetables however they did not view Korean cuisine as good for health. As compared to customers visiting a Korean restaurant for the first time, those who had visited Korean restaurants previously agreed more strongly with the following items: 'Korean food has a beautiful color', 'Korean food is familiar', 'Korean food smells good', 'Korean food is healthy', 'Korean food is nutritious', and 'Korean food is salty and spicy'. In addition, as compared to occasional visitors, frequent visitors of Korean cuisine restaurants more strongly agreed with the followings: 'Korean food has a beautiful color', 'Korean food is expensive', 'Korean food is healthy', 'Korean food is nutritious', 'Korean food is salty and spicy', and 'Korean food includes many fermented foods'. The subjects considered 'appearance of menu', 'variety of menu', 'nutrition of menu', and 'Chinese characters for menu and ingredients' as the most important attributes when choosing Korean cuisine restaurants. The frequent customers of Korean cuisine restaurants considered 'kind service', 'employee knowledge of Korean foods', 'operation hours of restaurant', and 'cleanliness of restaurant' as the most important restaurant attributes. In addition, the frequent customers of Korean cuisine restaurants were more satisfied than the occasional customers with the followings: 'nutritional quality of menu', 'quick service', 'cleanliness of restaurant', 'appearance and signboard of restaurant', and 'image of restaurant'. The implications of the data are discussed.
This study performed a analysis of customer purchasing behavior in family restaurant. The type of family restaurant marketing activity was classified to free gift promotion, special menu promotion, discount promotion, membership program, coupon, co-marketing promotion were assumed to stimulus. The awareness of stimulus and exposure, attention, comprehension process was assumed to attraction and the contribution of stimulus was assumed to satisfaction on this study. A sample of study is assigned women customers are core customer group not family restaurant but all of industry. The study has showed co-marketing is the most outstanding marketing activity in family restaurant all of aspects and the awareness and attraction of co-marketing is higher than satisfaction. A result of t-test for awareness and attraction of discount and coupon promotion is attended. Attraction of them is higher than awareness. But satisfaction of them is lower than attraction means that family restaurants should makes an effort to develop the customer satisfaction to ensure customer loyalty through the discount and coupon promotion. On one-way ANOVA of awareness, attraction and satisfaction by age, discount and coupon promotion is related to it Speciality as low age as sensitive in awareness, attraction, satisfaction of discount promotion.
