  • This study aims to examine the factors that affect customer satisfaction and repurchase intention of online shoppers in Vietnam. We used the anklet method to collect information by sending the online questionnaire to Vietnamese people via social media like Facebook, Zalo, and instructed participants to fill out the survey. This study collected data randomly from 597 Vietnamese individuals who have experienced online shopping. Applying both qualitative and quantitative methods, we investigated the impacts of factors (responsiveness, trust, convenience, delivery, information quality and perceived website usability) on customer satisfaction and repurchase intention. The results revealed that: (1) Information quality, delivery, convenience, and perceived website usability have the most significant impacts on customer satisfaction and intention, (2) Trust moderately affects satisfaction and repurchase intention, (3) Responsiveness has no significant influence on repurchase intention and (4) Control variables, included gender and marital status also impacted satisfaction and repurchase intention because the study found that male customers are more satisfied than female customers and single people tend to repurchase at familiar websites more than the other people. The findings suggested that six mentioned factors have different levels of impacts on customer satisfaction and repurchase intention; moreover, the demographic factors also affect satisfaction and intention to repurchase.

  • Purpose: As global interest in environmental issues increases, the demand for green products/services is increasing. Companies are establishing eco-friendly policies to meet the changing expectations of customers. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the effect of eco-friendly behavior and third-party certification on trust, satisfaction, and loyalty as well as the mediating role of satisfaction based on SOR and signaling theory. Research design, data and methodology: This study collected data from 501 respondents who visited restaurant and analyzed using measurement model with SPSS 28.0 and SmartPLS 4. Results: First, restaurants' eco-friendly behavior and third-party certification (TPC) positively influenced trust while these did not influence satisfaction. Second, trust positively influenced satisfaction. Third, trust and satisfaction positively influenced loyalty. Fourth, TPC had stronger impact on trust and satisfaction compared to eco-friendly behavior in female group while TPC had stronger impact on trust in male group. Conclusions: This study emphasized the importance of TPC over eco-friendly behavior. Restaurants should maintain pro-environmental behaviors such as reducing single-use items while obtaining TPC such as ISO and LEED certifications to increase customer trust. It also found the importance of trust and satisfaction in securing loyal customers. Restaurants should make efforts to build bonds with customers through authentic marketing such as events that encourage customer participation.

  • The purpose of this study was to improve the satisfaction of college foodservice customers by analyzing the correlation between college student satisfaction with foodservice and customer loyalty. The questionnaire was distributed to 480 customers at six universities in Busan. The average customer satisfaction score was 2.76, and customer satisfaction was highest with food, followed by sanitation, environment, and service (in decreasing order). Customers reported the frequency with which they were satisfied when using university foodservice operations (on an increasing scale from "almost never" to "more than five times") in four areas: food (p<0.001), service (p<0.01), sanitation (p<0.05), and environment (p<0.001). The average scores of customer loyalty, intent to purchase again, intent to advertise by word-of-mouth, and intent to switch were 2.67, 2.83, 2.52, and 2.67, respectively, and these scores demonstrated differences according to frequency of foodservice use (p<0.001). Food, service, sanitation, and environment correlated significantly (+) with customer loyalty. Intent to repeat purchase showed the highest correlation with food quality (p<0.05), and intent to advertise by word-of-mouth and to continue patronizing foodservice demonstrated the highest correlations with service (p<0.01). After classifying customers into four groups according to customer satisfaction and loyalty, a comparison was done to determine satisfaction and loyalty by each customer strata. In the "loyalist" group, satisfaction with environment and the intent to advertise by repurchase were significantly higher than in the other groups (p<0.001). In "defectors" group, satisfaction with service and the intent to advertise by word-of-mouth were significantly lower than in the other groups (p<0.001).

  • With a goal of establishing a marketing strategy which allows businesses to hold a dominant position in beauty service industry, this study has attempted to investigate causal relations among behavioral intentions by customer satisfaction once service recovery strategy is recovered depending on customers' emotional responses against service failure. In order to provide relevant data to make correct decisions during management and marketing planning so that better customer satisfaction can be achieved in the beauty service industry, the results of the previous studies on service failure and recovery strategy in the beauty service industry have been examined. Then after selecting i) the efforts to recover service failure, ii) satisfaction after recovery and iii) behavioral intention after satisfaction as causal variables, the relation among these variables were verified using a structural equation model. As a result, an appropriate recovery strategy which is developed after service failure makes customers have positive behavioral intentions when customer satisfaction is achieved just as described in previous studies. Furthermore, it is a critical fact which helps businesses keep their customers in a mature market, where it is hard to attract new customers and create long-term profit. This study empirically supports information on how service failure and related variables occur in the beauty service industry. It is significant in that it has helped beauty service providers build service recovery-related strategies.
