The subjects are 9 hospitals(5 Daegu region, 4 Seoul region) patient satisfaction index that were surveyed the 2004 Hospital Accreditation Program performed by KHIDI(Korea Health Industry Development Institute) and MOHW(Ministry of Health and Welfare). The sample used in this study consisted of 450 inpatients and 454 outpatients. The survey instrument is composed of physical environment items, physician factors, nursing staff factors, ancillary staff factors, administrative procedure items, and quality of hospital stay items. And overall satisfaction, intent to revisit, and intent to recommend as dependent variables are measured. Basically, the reliability and validity of survey items was evaluated. And the T-test was performed to compare regional differences of customer satisfaction. Finally to analyse the affecting factors on overall satisfaction, and customer loyalty(intent to revisit and intent to recommend), the multiple regression analysis was used. This study shows firstly, the Daegu region's patient satisfaction level of inpatients and outpatients is lower than Seoul region. Especially, nursing staff factors and quality of hospital stay items are very low on inpatient's satisfaction. Also all independent variables except the sufficiency of goods in hospital stand are very low on outpatient's satisfaction. Secondly, as a result of multiple regression analysis, ancillary staff factors(Beta=0.281) have a significant effect on overall satisfaction of inpatient cases in Daegu region. In regard to intent to revisit and intent to recommend, physical environment factors have a significant effect. Thirdly, in Seoul region, physical environment factors(Beta=0.430) have a significant effect on overall satisfaction of inpatient cases. In regard to intent to revisit and intent to recommend, administrative procedure items and nursing staff factors have a significant effect, respectively. In conclusion, these results indicate that hospitals in Daegu region make an effort to improve the customer satisfaction level, especially, of physical environment factors on inpatients and administrative procedure factors on outpatients

  • Patient revisit to used hospital is a key factor in determining a health care organization's competitive advantage and survival. This article examines the relationship between customer's satisfaction and his/her revisit associated with three different methods which are the Chi Square Automatic Interaction Detection(CHAID) for segmenting the outpatient group, logistic regression and neural networks for addressing the outpatient's revisit. The main findings indicate that the important factors on outpatient's revisit are physician's kindness, nurse's skill, overall level of satisfaction, hospital reputation, recommendation, level of diagnoses and outpatient's age. Among these ones, physician's kindness is the most important factor as guidelines for decision of their revisit. The decision maker of hospital should select the strategy containing the variable amount of the level of revisit and size of outpatient's group under the constraint on the hospital's time, budget and manpower given. Finally, this study shows that neural networks, as non-parametric technique, appear to more correctly predict revisit than does logistic regression as a parametric estimation technique.

Banco do Brasil is one of the largest Brazilian and global financial institutions and conducted a restructuring customer's relationship model since 2015, creating new specific service structures for certain segments, among them exclusive offices. This research had a qualitative step with an internal documentary analysis about the company and a semi-structured interview with manager's offices, in order to check the strategy and the foundations of business model, as well as identify perceptions and the difficulties in implementing this new structure. The quantitative step held the findings about customer satisfaction level in relation to the quality of services provided by offices, through an electronic survey based on the Servqual Scale developed by Parasuraman et al. (1988), which measures the difference between customer's expectations and perception in five dimensions: tangibility, reliability, understanding, safety and empathy. The results shown that Banco do Brasil customers' are satisfied with services offered through the digital model and the new business structure, in which is offered a humanized service together with the best technology. It was found, also, that digital probably would not replace the physical world, but they complement one another. Digital offices and physical agencies will coexist, improving value proposition delivery and better customers experience, satisfy them and build their loyalty.

  • The golf industry has become the center of attention for recreational activities in the participant sport market; however, there has been little effort made to understand golf consumer and their consumption behavior using the concept of 'recreational specialization' which segments the golfers based on level of specialization in golf. The purpose of this study was to explore the differences in the relationships among perceived service quality, price of playing golf, overall customer satisfaction with the course, and a player's intention to revisit the same golf course based on the magnitude of recreation specialization in golf. Four public and two private golf courses from the southeastern state of the United States were randomly chosen from a list in a golf magazine. The 365 surveys among 417 participants were ultimately analyzed. Multiple group analysis was conducted in order to investigate differences in relationships among service quality, price, customer satisfaction, and revisit intentions between groups based on the level of recreation specialization. The key findings were 1) for more specialized golfers, satisfaction with price did not affect overall customer satisfaction or revisit intention, however, service quality significantly influenced both overall customer satisfaction and revisit intention, 2) for less specialized golfers, satisfaction with price significantly influenced overall customer satisfaction but did not affect revisit intention. Knowledge about which the determinants of satisfaction are different between more and less specialized golfers could provide a better understanding of how different marketing strategies should be implemented for different specialized levels of golfers.

  • Purpose: O2O (Online to Offline) is an internet-based platform. The purpose of this study is to confirm the effect of service quality of O2O food delivery service on service satisfaction, and whether customer orientation mediates the relationship between service quality and service satisfaction. Research design, data and methodology: This paper surveyed Chinese consumers using the O2O food delivery platform through a questionnaire technique. Smart PLS 3.0 was used to verify the hypothesis of this study. PLS is characterized by the advantage of minimizing measurement errors and maximizing the influence of each factor. Results: It was confirmed that O2O food delivery companies need to increase service quality (information quality, product quality, and social quality, system quality) in order to obtain customer satisfaction. Additionally, the perceived customer orientation was found to completely mediate the relationship between perceived service quality (information quality, product quality) and perceived service satisfaction. Conclusions: The service level of the O2O delivery company to the customer's request when a problem occurs in the customer's order must be raised to increase the customer's satisfaction. For example, timely response to customer inquiries and timely feedback of delivery information to customers during the delivery process should improve the quality of after-sales service.
