인하도선의 길이가 과도접지임피던스에 미치는 영항 (Effects of the Length of Down Conductors on Transient Ground Impedances)

  • 본 논문은 인하도선의 설치에 따른 접지시스템의 임펄스전류에 대한 과도임피던스 특성을 다루었다. 임펄스전류를 심매설 봉상 접지전각과 그리드 접지전극에 인가하였을 때 임펄스전류의 상승시간과 인하도선의 길이에 따른 전위상승과 실효임펄스접지임피던스를 측정하고 분석하였다. 과도접지임피던스는 접지전극의 형상과 크기 및 임펄스전류의 파형과 인하도선의 길이에 강하게 의존하며, 인덕턴스가 최소화되도록 인하도선을 설치하는 기법이 과도접지 임피던스의 저감을 위한 중요한 요소이다.

  • Most of feedback shift controllers developed in the past have fixed control parameters tuned by experts using a trial and error method. Therefore, those controllers cannot satisfy the best control performance under various driving conditions. To improve the shift quality under various driving conditions, a new self-organizing controller(SOC) that has an optimal control performance through self-learning of driving conditions and driver's pattern is designed in this study. The proposed SOC algorithm for the shift controller uses simple descent method and has less calculation time than complex fuzzy relation, thus makes real-time control passible. PCSV (Pressure Control Solenoid Valve) control current is used as a control input, and turbine speed of the torque converter is used indirectly to monitor the transient torque as a feedback signal, which is more convenient to use and economic than the torque signal measured directoly by a torque sensor. The results of computer simulations show that an apparent reduction of shift-transient torque is obtained through the process of each run without initial fuzzy rules and a good control performance in the shift-transient torque is also obtained.

Analysis of the Transient State of the Squirrel Cage Induction Motor by Means of the Magnetic Equivalent Circuit Method

  • The finite element method is very flexible for new shapes and provides flux distribution, magnetomotive force, eddy currents, and torques. However, it requires lengthy computational time in order to achieve desired accuracy. The magnetic equivalent circuit method takes less computation time than the finite element method. Therefore, the finite element method is mainly used to confirm the completed design. The magnetic equivalent circuit method is convenient for complicated analysis of the transient state of the induction motor. The magnetic equivalent circuit method is restricted to only one direction of magnetic flux. In this paper, the construction elements (that is, stator iron, rotor iron, yoke, air gap, etc.) of the squirrel cage induction motor were represented by a flux tube and the air gap magnetomotive force was calculated by the magnetic equivalent circuit method. Starting transient torque and phase current of the squirrel cage induction motor were verified by the theoretical calculation and the experiment.

  • 전동기 절연열화와 파괴는 전동기에 가해지는 스트레스에 영향을 받는다. 즉 절연물의 수명은 주어지는 스트레스의 심한 정도에 따라서 좌우된다. 전동차용 견인전동기에서도 과도서지에 의한 전기적인 열화를 검토하는 것은 매우 중요한 요소이다. 본 논문에서는 인버터에서 발생되는 과도서지에 의한 고정자 코일의 절연특성을 고찰해 보았다. 전동기의 절연상태, 열화진전도, 열화발생 범위 등을 측정하는 유용한 비파괴시험 방법에는 여러 가지가 이용되고 있다. 누설전류, 유전손실(tan$\delta$), 정전용량, 성극지수(PI), 부분방전 등의 방법들을 통하여 고정자 코일의 절연상태를 분석하였다. 이러한 진단 방법들은 전동차의 견인전동기에 대한 열화상태와 수명예측에 유용한 방법이 될 것으로 여겨진다.

항공기 낙뢰 간접영향 인증시험 동향

  • 오늘날 항공기 설계와 제작은 다국적인 산업의 형태로 이루어지고 있다. 즉 항공기 서브시스템은 세계 각국에서 독립적으로 설계, 제작 및 시험한 후 한 곳으로 납품되어 조립 제작되는 데 이 때 중요한 것이 표준화이다. 항공전자장비의 낙뢰 간접영향에 대한 인증의 경우 RTCA DO-160E, Section 22 Lightning Induced Transient Susceptibility(낙뢰 유도 과도현상 적응성)로 표준화 되어 있다. 이 Section 22는 낙뢰 간접영향에 대한 항공전자장비 단위 즉, LRU (Line Replaceable Units)와 같은 부품단위의 시험 요건을 규정하고 있으며 이 규격은 현재 전 세계적으로 통용이 되고 있다. 1980년대 초 상용 수송기에 디지털 "Fly by Wire" 비행 시스템과 엔진제어시스템(EEC, Electronic Engine Control)의 도입 이후, 항공기 시스템이 낙뢰 환경에서 운용시 신뢰성을 보증할 필요성이 대두되었다. 데이터 처리를 통하여 제어되는 각종 항공전자장비에는 다중타격(MS)과 다중파열(MB) 기법에 의한 시험 사항이 최근 추가 되었다. 실제 낙뢰 환경과 유사한 시험실 모사를 위해 계속적인 연구가 진행 중이며 신규 시험 규격서가 새로이 출간되고 있다.

당량비 조건에 따른 PEM 단위 연료전지의 과도 응답 특성 및 공기극 플러딩 연구 (Transient response of unit PEMFC with the visualization study of cathode flooding under different stoichiometries)

  • The transient response of PEMFC (proton exchange membrane fuel cell) is important criteria in the application of PEM fuel cell to real automotive system. In this work, using a transparent unit PEM fuel cell, the transient response and cathode flooding during load change are investigated. The cell voltage is acquired according to the current density change($0.3Acm^2$ to $0.6A/cm^2$) under various stoichiometry conditions and different flooding intensities, Also the cathode gas channel images are obtained by CCD imaging system simultaneously. The different level of undershoots appeared at the moment of load changes under different cathode stoichiometries and flooding intensities. It takes about 1s that the product water comes up onto the flow channel so that oxygen supply is temporarily blocked which causes voltage loss in that "undershoot". The correlation of the dynamic behavior with stoichiometry and cathode flooding is induced from the results of these experiments.

토중방전을 수반하는 접지봉의 임펄스응답에 대한 기초적 연구 (A Fundamental Study on the Impulse Responses of Ground Rod Attendant upon Soil Discharges)

  • This paper deals with the fundamental characteristics of transient and conventional ground impedances associated with soil discharges when the lightning impulse voltage was applied to a small-sized ground rod. The potential rise responses of the test ground rod to impulse currents were observed. The current-voltage (I-V)curves, transient and conventional ground impedance curves were examined.. To analyze the transient behaviors of ground rod attendant upon soil discharges, the impulse responses of ground rod were compared with those of non-inductive resistor. As a consequence, the potential rise and impedance of ground rod were reduced and the currents dispersed into the earth were increased due to soil discharges near the ground rod. Soil discharges are classified into two regimes; ionization and breakdown phenomena. The potential rise and impulse impedance of ground rod are significantly decreased by breakdown processes in soil.

빠른 응답을 갖는 멀티페이스 벅 변환기 (Multi-Phase Buck Converter with Fast Transient Response)

  • 최근 휴대용 기기의 수요가 증가함에 따라 배터리 사용시간을 최대화하기 위한 노력이 진행되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 빠른 과도 응답을 갖는 멀티페이스 벅 변환기를 제안한다. 멀티페이스 벅 변환기는 리플 상쇄 효과가 있기 때문에 작은 크기의 출력 캐패시터를 사용할 수 있고, 더 적은 인덕턴스를 갖는 인덕터의 사용이 가능하다. 휴대용 기기가 대기 모드에서 활성 모드로 빠르게 변할 수 있도록 4-페이스 구조로 설계하여 빠른 과도 응답을 갖게 하였다. 사용된 공정은 Hynix 0.18um CMOS 공정을 통해 제작되었고 공급전압 범위는 2.7~3.3V 이며, 최대 부하 전류는 500mA, settling time은 14us이다.

탄소혼합물 접지전극의 접지임피던스의 특성 (Characteristics of Grounding Impedances of Carbon Compound Grounding Electrodes)

  • This paper presents characteristics of frequency-dependent grounding impedance and transient grounding impedance for the carbon compound grounding electrode used in the installation of computerized electronic equipment and lightning protection system. The frequency-dependent grounding impedances were measured by applying sinusoidal currents in the frequency range from 100 [Hz] to 10[MHz], and the transient grounding impedances were examined by subjecting the impulse current with the front-time between 1~80[${\mu}s$]. As a result, the ground resistance of the carbon compound grounding electrode is less than that of another type grounding electrodes. The transient grounding impedance is relatively low and the conventional grounding impedance is rather lower than the ground resistance. The frequency-dependent grounding impedance of the carbon compound grounding electrode is capacitive and the grounding impedance is decreased with increasing the frequency of injected currents. Therefore in the case that the carbon compound grounding electrode is jointly used with large-scaled grounding electrodes, it is possible to reduce the high frequency grounding impedance of the integrated grounding electrode system.

Transient trap density in thin silicon oxides

  • High electric field stressed trap distributions were investigated in the thin silicon oxide of polycrystalline silicon gate metal oxide semiconductor capacitors. The transient currents associated with the off time of stressed voltage were used to measure the density and distribution of high voltage stress induced traps. The transient currents were due to the discharging of traps generated by high stress voltage in the silicon oxides. The trap distributions were relatively uniform near both cathode and anode interface in polycrystalline silicon gate metal oxide semiconductor devices. The stress generated trap distributions were relatively uniform the order of $10^{11}$~$10^{12}$ [states/eV/$\textrm{cm}^2$] after a stress. The trap densities at the oxide silicon interface after high stress voltages were in the $10^{10}$~$10^{13}$ [states/eV/$\textrm{cm}^2$]. It was appeared that the transient current that flowed when the stress voltages were applied to the oxide was caused by carriers tunneling through the silicon oxide by the high voltage stress generated traps.
