응력이력과 시간이력에 따른 과압밀점토의 응력-변형-변형률 속도 (Stress-Strain-Strain Rate of Overconsolidated Clay Dependent on Stress and Time History)

  • 과압밀점토의 응력-변형 거동에 중요한 영향을 미치는 변형률 속도에 관하여 다루었다. 본 연구에서는 응력경로 회전각, 과압밀비 그리고 접근길이를 포함한 응력이력과 재하속도 이력 및 재하속도를 포함한 시간이력을 변화시켜 압밀-배수 응력경로 삼축 실험을 수행하였다. 실험 결과 모든 영향인자에 대하여 시간이 증가할수록 변형률 속도 역시 증가하였다. 또한, 회전각의 정의에 따라 상이한 변형률 속도의 값을 보였고, 과압밀비와 재하속도가 증가할수록 변형률 속도 역시 증가하였다. 응력이력에서는 응력-변형 거동과 변형률 속도간의 상관성이 존재하였지만 시간이력에서는 응력-변형-변형률 속도의 상관성을 보이지 않았다.

  • To transmit the image data at low rate, motion compensated(MC) hybrid coding scheme is used generally. In this scheme since coder performance could be decreased when scene change happens, another prediction method must be employed. In this paper we present two prediction methods. One is using the mean of neighboring block which was already transmitted. The others is estimating the current block with the neighboring blocks. When the proposed methods are applied to the conventional Me hybrid coding scheme, it is found that SNR gain of 7 dB is achieved and bit rate can be also reduced above 30%.

전원전압에 따른 초전도 사고전류제한기의 퀜치속도 분석 (Analysis on Quench Velocity of SFCL dependent on Source Voltage)

  • We investigated the quench velocity of superconducting fault current limiter (SFCL) dependent on the source voltage. $YBa_2Cu_3O_7$ (YBCO) thin film was used as the current limiting element for SFCL. The analysis on the quench velocity of SFCL is essential to determine the capacity of circuit breaker (CB) or coordinate with CB. Generally, the quench velocity of SFCL is related with the short-circuit current. To change the short-circuit current, in this paper, the amplitude of the power source voltage is adjusted. Through the fault current limiting experiments, the quench velocity of SFCL was confirmed to increase fast as the source voltage increased. On the other hand, the peak limited current was shown to increase with steady rate of increase.

  • A Rogowski coil can measure alternating currents from a few amps to over 1 million amps in a frequency range from less than 0.1 Hz to about lMhz. A Rogowski coil provides an induced output voltage which is proportional to the rate of change of the primary current enclosed by the flexible or the rigid coil-loop. Therefore, it is necessary to integrate the output voltage in order to produce a voltage proportional to the current. Also. it can reproduce the current waveform on an oscilloscope or any type of data acquisition device. This paper describes the practical design of the combination of a Rogowski coil and an integrator which provides a versatile current measuring system to accommodate a wide range of frequencies, current levels and conductor sizes.

Photosynthesis Monitoring of Rice using SPAR System to Respond to Climate Change

  • Over the past 100 years, the global average temperature has risen by 0.75 ℃. The Korean Peninsula has risen by 1.8 ℃, more than twice the global average. According to the RCP 8.5 scenario, the CO2 concentration in 2100 will be 940 ppm, about twice as high as current. The National Institute of Crop Science(NICS) is using the SPAR (Soil-Plant Atmosphere Research) facility that can precisely control the environment, such as temperature, humidity, and CO2. A Python-based colony photosynthesis algorithm has been developed, and the carbon and nitrogen absorption rate of rice is evaluated by setting climate change conditions. In this experiment, Oryza Sativa cv. Shindongjin were planted at the SPAR facility on June 10 and cultivated according to the standard cultivation method. The temperature and CO2 settings are high temperature and high CO2 (current temperature+4.7℃ temperature+4.7℃·CO2 800ppm), high temperature single condition (current temperature+4.7℃·CO2 400ppm) according to the RCP8.5 scenario, Current climate is set as (current temperature·CO2400ppm). For colony photosynthesis measurement, a LI-820 CO2 sensor was installed in each chamber for setting the CO2 concentration and for measuring photosynthesis, respectively. The colony photosynthetic rate in the booting stage was greatest in a high temperature and CO2 environment, and the higher the nitrogen fertilization level, the higher the colony photosynthetic rate tends to be. The amount of photosynthesis tended to decrease under high temperature. In the high temperature and high CO2 environment, seed yields, the number of an ear, and 1000 seed weights tended to decrease compared to the current climate. The number of an ear also decreased under the high temperature. But yield tended to increase a little bit under the high temperature and high CO2 condition than under the high temperature. In addition, In addition to this study, it seems necessary to comprehensively consider the relationship between colony photosynthetic ability, metabolite reaction, and rice yield according to climate change.

Analysis of Tunnelling Rate Effect on Single Electron Transistor

  • This paper presents the modeling of Single Electron Transistor (SET) based on Physical model of a device and its equivalent circuit. The physical model is derived from Schrodinger equation. The wave function of the electrode is calculated using Hartree-Fock method and the quantum dot calculation is obtained from WKB approximation. The resulting wave functions are used to compute tunneling rates. From the tunneling rate the current is calculated. The equivalent circuit model discuss about the effect of capacitance on tunneling probability and free energy change. The parameters of equivalent circuit are extracted and optimized using genetic algorithm. The effect of tunneling probability, temperature variation effect on tunneling rate, coulomb blockade effect and current voltage characteristics are discussed.

GMA용접 시스템의 동적 거동에 대한 해석 (Analysis of Dynamic Behavior in GMAW System)

  • Dynamic behaviors of the GMAW system are simulated using the short-circuit transfer model and the characteristic equations fir the power supply, wire system and arc. The conventional wire equation, which relates the rate change of the wire extension to the wire feed rate and melting rate, is modified to include effects of the molten drop attached at the wire tip. The modified wire equation describes behaviors of the GMAW system more precisely and provides information about the initial bridge volume for short-circuit transfer. The proposed short-circuit model predicts the variation of parameters such as the current, voltage, short-circuit frequency and time considering the effects of the surface tension and electromagnetic force due to current. The calculated results are in broad agreements with the experimental results under the argon shielding condition.

  • While we go through a rapid change in society, family types composing social relationship underwent lots of changes. Recently the range of family is included not only families on the basis of blood relationship but also single family, a one-parent family and non-blood relationship family. Now we need not unified types of housing but social integrated housing models responding to family diversity. The purpose of this study is that examine family diversity through social statistics and demography and grasp the current housing types responding to family diversity. The features of family diversity are reducing the number of family member and turning up a unformal family type. At the social statistics and demography in 2005, the number of family member is only 2.9 people per family. Due to decline of birth rate and change of marriage consciousness, various family types appear and increase such as single family, a one-parent family and non-blood relationship family. But there is lack of housing types responding to such family diversity. This study will be a basic research to develop social integrated housing models responding to family diversity. Housing must be sensitive to change of family type, so it responds our needs based on thorough understanding on various housing life.

터널굴착 중 지하수위 강하 및 깊이별 투수계수 변화를 적용한 지하수 유입량 변화 분석 (Assessment of groundwater inflow rate into a tunnel considering groundwater level drawdown and permeability reduction with depth)

  • 터널 내 지하수 침투는 터널붕괴와 그에 따른 지반침하의 주요 원인 중 하나이다. 따라서 터널굴착 중 시간에 따른 지하수 침투량과 간극수압 변화를 적절히 예측하는 것이 중요하다. 실무에서는 균질한 지반조건으로 가정하는 Goodman의 산정법을 사용하여 지하수 침투량을 계산하지만, 터널굴착 중 지하수위 강하와 깊이에 따른 투수계수 변화를 고려하지 않아 설계단계에서 지하수 유입량을 과다하게 산정할 우려가 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 지하수위 강하 및 깊이별 투수계수의 감소를 적용한 매개변수분석을 통해 지하수 유입량 변화를 분석 비교하였으며, 시간에 따른 지하수 침투량 변화와 지하수위 및 간극수압 분포 변화를 분석하기 위해 비정상류 해석을 수행하였다.

  • In this paper the insulation characteristics test results of 25 low-voltage induction motors($3\phi$, 5HP, 380V) are presented. Five different types of insulation techniques are applied to 25 motors. The maximum partial discharge (PD) magnitude ($\textrm{Q}_{m}$) discharge inception voltage (DIV) dissipation factor tip-up ($\Delta$tan$\delta$) and rate of change in AC current($\Delta$I) are measured by PD and AC current tests. Also the insulation breakdown tests by high voltage pulse are performed and the corresponding breakdown voltage are obtained.
