기공 수련이 대학생의 육체적, 정신적 건강 및 자존감에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Qigong Training in a University Student's Physical, Mental Health and Self-esteem)

  • Background: Qigong is one of energy-healing intervention used to prevent and cure ailments and to improve health through regular practice. Although Qigong-neither itself nor its postulated mechanism of action-is within the paradigm of modern Western medical science, effects on the human body could be possible. Objectives: This study aims to know effect of Qigong training in a University student's physical, mental health and self-esteem. Method: There are 120 students who take a Yangsaengkigong(養生氣功) course in D University college of oriental medicine during four weeks beginning in April 10th 2008. I researched 41 of them trained about effect of Qigong training. Result: Qigong training made significant change in self-esteem measurement and SCL-90-R. And there wasn't significant change in KHP and happiness index. Conclusions: The depth study for the each Qigong is needed. Specifically, I think it should be a clinical studies and qualitative research methods for evaluation are needed.

  • Background: Qigong is one energy-healing intervention used to prevent and cure ailments and to improve health through regular practice. Although Qigong-neither itself nor its postulated mechanism of action-are within the paradigm of modern Western medical science. effects on the human body could be possible. Objectives: This study aims to review the bibliography, biological responses and therapeutic effects of Qigong. In the process, this review grasp trends in this field of studies and direct further researches into the right direction. Method: The computerized Korean databases were searched from their respective inception up to January 2008. The search terms used were 'Qi', 'Qigong', 'Doin', 'training', 'bioenergy', 'life nurturing' and random or Korean language terms related to qigong. Several specialized journals were also manually searched for relevant articles. Result: Since the 1990s, Qigong papers in the Korean Literature have been increased. Clinical research studies are among the most control design study. Research subjects are less patient than the general public. The most common treatment disease was Musculo-skeletal disorder. Conclusions: The depth study for the each Qigong is needed. Specifically, I think it should be a clinical studies and qualified research methods for evaluation are needed.

수산화인회석이 충전된 고분자 복합체의 치과적 물성 (Dental Properties of Hydroxyapatite Filled Polymer Composite)

  • 인체 뼈의 주성분인 수산화인회석(hydroxyapatite, HAP)이 충전된 고분자 복합체를 제조하고 이들의 치과적 물성을 분석하여 치과용 수복재료로의 응용성을 확인하고자 하였다. 복합체 제조에 사용된 기질인 아크릴계 단량체는 가시광선으로 경화시켰다. 실험 결과, HAP는 무게비로 65%까지 첨가되었으며 중합깊이는 6.0 mm 정도로서 일반적 치과용 수복재료로의 응용이 가능함을 확인하였다. 제조된 고분자 복합체의 중합전환율은 HHP 첨가량이 늘어날수록 약간 감소하였으며 중합수축률은 HAP 변화량에의 의존성이 거의 없었다. 복합체의 기계적 물성은 HAP함량이 증가할수록 간접인장강도는 증가하였고 굴곡강도는 큰 변화가 없었다. 그러나 그 값들은 치의학에서 규정한 값들을 상회하여 치과용 재료로의 응용 가능성이 매우 높음을 확인할 수 있었다.

복합레진 수복시 와동의 크기 및 수복 방법이 교두 굴곡에 미치는 영향 (INFLUENCE OF CAVITY SIZE AND RESTORATION METHODS ON THE CUSP DEFLECTION IN COMPOSITE RESTORATION)

  • The aim of this study was to measure the cusp deflection during composite restoration for MOD cavity in premolar and to examine the influence of cavity dimension, C-factor and restoration method on the cusp deflection. Thirty extracted maxillary premolar were prepared to four different sizes of MOD cavity and divided into six groups. The width and depth of the cavity were as follows. Group 1; $1.5{\;}{\times}{\;}1{\;}mm$, Group 2; $1.5{\;}{\times}{\;}2{\;}mm$, Group 3; $3{\;}{\times}{\;}1{\;}mm$, and Group 4-6; $3{\;}{\times}{\;}2{\;}mm$ respectively. Group 1-4 were restored using bulk filling method with Z-250 composite. However, Group 5 was restored incrementally, and Group 6 was restored with an indirect resin inlay. The cusp deflection was recorded at the buccal and lingual cusp tips using LVDT probe for 10,000 seconds. The measured cusp deflections were compared between groups, and the relationship between the cube of the length of cavity wall/the cube of the thickness of cavity wall ($L^3/T^3$). C-factor and cusp deflection or % flexure ($100{\;}{\times}$ cuspal deflection / cavity width) was analyzed. The cusp deflection of Group 1-4 were $12.1{\;}\mu\textrm{m},{\;}17.2{\;}\mu\textrm{m},{\;}16.2{\;}\mu\textrm{m}{\;}and{\;}26.4{\;}\mu\textrm{m}$ respectively. The C-factor was related to the % flexure rather than the cusp deflection. There was a strong positive correlationship between the $L^3/T^3$ and the cusp deflection. The cusp deflection of Group 5 and 6 were $17.4{\;}\mu\textrm{m}{\;}and{\;}17.9{\;}\mu\textrm{m}$ respectively, which are much lower value than that of Group 4.

여러 치과 와동 기저재용 재료들의 미세누출 및 압축강도 비교 (Comparison of Microleakage and Compressive Strength of Different Base Materials)

  • 이 연구는 깊은 와동에서 기저재로 사용되는 5개의 기저재용 재료를 대상으로 미세누출 및 압축강도 평가를 시행하였다. 미세누출 평가를 위해 발거된 영구 소구치 50개를 준비하여 베이스 재료에 따라 10개씩 군을 나누었다. 치아의 순면에 가로 5.0 mm, 세로 3.0 mm, 높이 3.0 mm 크기의 와동을 형성하였다. 형성된 와동에 1.0 mm 두께로 각 베이스 재료를 충전하였다. 이후 와동의 상방부를 composite resin으로 최종수복 시행하였으며, 시편을 2% 메틸렌블루 용액에 침적시킨 후 치아를 절삭하였고 실체현미경(× 30)을 이용해 미세누출 정도를 평가하였다. 압축강도 평가를 위해 각 재료 별로 5개씩의 원통형 시편을 제작하였다. 이후 만능시험기를 이용해 압축강도를 평가하였다. 미세누출 평가에서 Riva light cureTM가 가장 큰 미세누출을 보였으며, Well-Root PT와 Biodentine이 가장 적은 미세누출을 보였다. 압축강도는 모든 군이 베이스 재료로서 받아들일 만한 강도를 보였다. Fuji II LC가 가장 높은 압축강도를 보였으며 Well-Root PT가 가장 낮은 강도를 보였다.

가시광선 중합기의 조사강도 감소에 대한 조사시간 증가의 보상효과 (COMPENSATION EFFECT OF EXPOSURE TIME INCREASE TO DECREASED LIGHT INTENSITY OF VISIBLE-LIGHT CURING UNIT)

  • The purpose of this study was to evaluate the compensation effect of exposure duration increase to decreased light intensity of visible-light curing unit. The specimen with 2mm thickness was made of Restorative $Z-100^{TM}$ (A2 shade, 3M Dental Products, U.S.A.) and cured with $Optilux^{TM}$ (Demetron Research Co. U.S.A.). The light intensity was controlled to 420 $mW/cm^2$, 540 $mW/cm^2$, 630 $mW/cm^2$ and curing time, also, controlled to 40, 60, 80 seconds. Cured specimen was stored in a light-proof container for 24 hours to post-irradation was completed. Microhardness of top and bottom surface of specimen were measured to evaluate the depth of cure. The obtained results were as follows: 1. The microhardness of top and bottom surface of the composite resin specimen was increased significantly as light intensity and exposure time was increased (P<0.01). 2. Light intensity was more correlated with bottom microhardness(${\gamma}{\geq}$0.438) than top microhardness(${\gamma}{\geq}$0.213), and exposure time was more correlated with top microhardness (${\gamma}{\geq}$0.424) than bottom microhardness(${\gamma}{\geq}$0.335). 3. The regressive equation was obtained in this study as follows : $H=0.07{\times}D+0.012{\times}I+76$ (H : Microhardness(KHN), D : Exposure time, I : Light intensity)

Although qigong-neither itself nor its postulated mechanism of action - are within the paradigm of modern Western medical science, effects on the human body could be possible. This study aims to review the bibliography, biological responses and therapeutic effects of Qigong. In the process, this review will grasp trends in this field of studies and will direct further researches into the right direction. The computerized Korean databases were searched from their respective inceptions up to January 2008. The search terms used were 'qi', 'qigong', 'doin', 'training', 'bioenergy', 'life nurturing' and random or Korean language terms related to qigong. Several specialized journals were also manually searched for relevant articles. Since the 1990s, Qigong papers in the Korean Literature is increased. Published 152 papers on Korean medicine were more than Physical education and Nursing. 78 papers published in The Journal of Korean Academy of medical Gi-gong are the best in many areas related to Korean medicine. Most people have submitted papers related to Qigong was Lee Gi-nam. The depth study for the each Qigong is needed. Specifically, I think it should be a clinical studies and qualitative research methods for evaluation are needed.

모험스포츠에 참여하는 골드미스의 결혼관 탐색 (Exploration on Views of Marriage of Gold Miss' participation in Extreme Sports)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 모험스포츠에 참여하는 골드미스의 결혼관을 심층적으로 알아보는데 있었다. 연구대상은 전문직에 종사하며 모험스포츠에 참여하는 골드미스 2명이었다. 자료 수집은 2012년 12월부터 2013년 3월까지 약 4개월 동안 실시하였으며, 심층면접과 참여관찰 등을 통해 수집하였다. 면접 시간은 연구참여자의 주어진 상황에 따라 1~2시간 정도 유동적으로 실시하였다. 본 연구를 통해 나타난 결론은 다음과 같다. 골드미스의 모험스포츠 입문 동기는 질병(심장병, 갑상선)치료의 목적으로 시작하는 것으로 나타났다. 모험스포츠의 참여효과로는 스트레스가 해소되고, 현실세계에서 벗어난 탈출감을 주며, 자신과 일에 대한 유능감이 증진되고, 마지막으로 삶에 대한 행복 및 만족감을 증진시켜주는 것으로 나타났다. 모험스포츠에 참여하는 골드미스의 결혼관에 영향을 미친 주요 요인은 결혼 전 불행한 가정사와 자신의 삶을 주도적으로 이끌수 있는 경제적 독립 그리고 일반여성과 다른 감각추구성향이 높다는 점이다.

HaCaT 세포주에서 Picea wilsonii Mast의 항염효과 (The Anti-Inflammatory Effects of Picea wilsonii Mast on HaCaT Cells)

  • 아토피피부염은 가려움증을 보이는 만성의, 재발성의 염증성 피부상태를 말하며 천식, 식품 알레르기, 알레르기 비염 등과 같은 다른 알레르기 질환보다 먼저 발생하고 다양한 면역학적 이상과 이로 인한 다양한 속발 증상도 갖고 있는 만성 재발성의 습관성 질환이다. 본 연구는 TNF-${\alpha}$와 IFN-${\gamma}$로 유도된 HaCaT 세포주를 이용하여 농도별로 PwM 천연물을 처리하였을 때 세포생존율이 우수한 것을 확인하였으며 아토피피부염과 관련된 염증성 사이토카인 즉, IL-6, IL-8, IL-13, MCP-1을 측정하였다. 그 결과 IL-6, IL-13, MCP-1의 생산량은 PwM 천연물에 의해 감소하였고 IL-8은 유의한 변화가 없었다. 앞으로의 연구는 해외생물소재를 활용한 아토피피부염 및 염증에 효과적인 치료제 후보물질을 개발하는 것이며 단백질 분석과 기전 연구를 통해 보다 객관적인 검증이 더 필요하다고 사료된다.
