인용논문 분석을 통한 학술 문서 추천 시스템 (A recommender of academic papers using the citation analysis)

  • 인터넷의 급속한 보급으로 사용자가 정보와 지식의 접근이 용이 해진 반면, 방대한 정보의 과 부화로 인하여 데이터의 신뢰성이 문제시 되고 있다. 특히, 기존의 학술 연구와 관련된 논문 데이터 검색에 있어서, 사용자의 요구 사항에 정확히 부합하는 결과물을 제공하는 데는 많은 한계를 가진다. 본 연구는 기존의 단순 키워드 매칭 검색의 한계를 넘어서, 레퍼런스와 인용 논문을 활용한 내용 기반 검색 방법론을 제안 한다.

카본재질의 세포 배양 특성 (Characteristics of cell culture on the carbon based materials)

  • 고감도 바이오센서를 제작하기 위해서는 높은 생체적합성 및 물리적/화학적 안정성을 가진 재질이 필요하며 다양한 재질들이 바이오산업에 응용 가능 여부를 평가 받고 있다. 근래, 카본재질의 다이아몬드 및 그라핀 박막은 많은 주목을 받고 있으며 그 가능성이 부분적으로 평가되고 있다. 다이아몬드는 넓은 전위창(3.0~3.5 V), 낮은 누설전류, 물리/화학적 안정성과 같은 전기화학적이고 생물학적 응용의 장점이 있으며, 그라핀 또한 물리/화학적 안정성과 전도성이 뛰어난 장점을 가지고 있다. 본 논문에서는 나노결정 다이아몬드, 마이크로결정 다이아몬드, 그라핀 및 세포배양판 표면에 사람의 신경세포(SH-SY5Y)를 배양하고 세포독성시험(MTT assay)을 이용하여 재질에 따른 배양 특성을 비교 평가하였다. 그 결과 기존 사용되고 있는 세포배양판과 카본재질은 세포 배양 특성이 유사하였다. 우리는 본 연구결과를 바탕으로 카본재질이 향후 바이오센서와 같은 바이오산업에 응용될 것으로 예상된다.

Localization of Paclitaxel in Suspension Culture of Taxus chinensis

  • The localization of paclitaxel was investigated in suspension culture cells of Taxus chinensis. Over 93% of the cell-associated paclitaxel were detected throughout the entire culture period. Intracellular localization of paclitaxel over the culture time was analyzed further by cell fractionation for days 21 and 42. Paclitaxel contents in intracellular organelles were decreased at day 42, while the content in the cell wall fraction was increased at day 42 compared to the value for day 21. The localization of paclitaxel in the cell wall was confirmed by using the immunocytochemical method with the aid of a confocal laser scanning microscope.

민화와 풍속화를 이용한 AI 기반의 콘텐츠 원천 데이터 생성 모델의 연구 (A Study of an AI-Based Content Source Data Generation Model using Folk Paintings and Genre Paintings)

  • Due to COVID-19, the non-face-to-face content market is growing rapidly. However, most of the non-face-to-face content such as webtoons and web novels are produced based on the traditional culture of other countries, not Korean traditional culture. The biggest cause of this situation is the lack of reference materials for creating based on Korean traditional culture. Therefore, the need for materials on traditional Korean culture that can be used for content creation is emerging. In this paper, we propose a generation model of source data based on traditional folk paintings through the fusion of traditional Korean folk paintings and AI technology. The proposed model secures basic data based on folk tales, analyzes the style and characteristics of folk tales, and converts historical backgrounds and various stories related to folk tales into data. In addition, using the built data, various new stories are created based on AI technology. The proposed model is highly utilized in that it provides a foundation for new creation based on Korean traditional folk painting and AI technology.

Mechanical and Physical Properties of Roof Tile Prepared from Sugar Cane Fiber

  • Sugar cane, renewable fiber resources, were used for roof tile production. Urea formaldehyde, phenol formaldehyde and isocyanate resin were used as binders in this study. Roof tile specimens with 400 mm wide, 400 mm long and 5 mm thick were prepared by compression molding. Physical and mechanical properties of the specimens were analyzed by water absorption, thickness swelling, thermal conductivity, density, modulus of rupture and modulus of elasticity. From the results, water absorption at 1 and 24 hours was 19-47 % and 38-57 %, respectively. Thickness swell at 24 hours was 15-29%. Thermal conductivity was 0.016, 0.017 and 0.019 W/m.K when using isocyanate, urea formaldehyde and phenol formaldehyde, respectively. Density of the specimens was 770-860 kg/m3. Modulus of rapture was 255-280 MPa. Modulus of elasticity was 5.1-7.6 GPa. Physical and mechanical properties of the specimens indicated that they would be applied for roof tile and construction.

  • 본 연구에서는 방송콘텐츠 OSMU(One Source Multi Use, 원소스멀티유즈)의 현황 파악을 통해 OSMU의 개념적 틀을 정립하고, 한미 양국 간 사례분석을 실시함으로써 향후 방송 콘텐츠의 OSMU의 경쟁력 향상 방향을 논의하고자 한다. 연구를 통해 우선 국내에서 통용되고 있는 OSMU의 어원과 개념 및 기존이론 고찰을 통해 방송콘텐츠 OSMU 명확한 개념을 정립함과 동시에 새로운 비즈니스 분류를 도출해냈다. 또한 개발된 OSMU 분류에 따라 한국과 미국의 대표사례를 선정하여 분석하였으며, 이러한 과정에서 산업전문가들과의 간담회 및 인터뷰가 함께 이루어졌다. 마지막으로 도출된 연구결과를 바탕으로 향후 방송 콘텐츠의 OSMU의 경쟁력 향상 방향을 제시하고자 한다.

Biological Control Potential of Penicillium brasilianum against Fire Blight Disease

  • Erwinia amylovora is a causative pathogen of fire blight disease, affecting apple, pear, and other rosaceous plants. Currently, management of fire blight relies on cultural and chemical practices, whereas it has been known that few biological resources exhibit disease control efficacy against the fire blight. In the current study, we found that an SFC20201208-M01 fungal isolate exhibits antibacterial activity against E. amylovora TS3128, and the isolate was identified as a Penicillium brasilianum based on the 𝛽-tubulin (BenA) gene sequence. To identify active compounds from the P. brasilianum culture, the culture filtrate was partitioned with ethyl acetate and n-butanol sequentially. From the ethyl acetate layer, we identified two new compounds (compounds 3-4) and two known compounds (compounds 1-2) based on spectroscopic analyses and comparison with literature data. Of these active compounds, penicillic acid (1) exhibited promising antibacterial activity against E. amylovora TS3128 with a minimal inhibitory concentration value of 25 ㎍/ml. When culture filtrate and penicillic acid (125 ㎍/ml) were applied onto Chinese pearleaf crab apple seedlings prior to inoculation of E. amylovora TS3128, the development of fire blight disease was effectively suppressed in the treated plants. Our results provide new insight into the biocontrol potential of P. brasilianum SFC20201208-M01 with an active ingredient to control fire blight.

감마선을 이용한 Escherichia coli K12의 살균에서 persulfate의 효과 (Effect of Persulfate on Disinfection of Escherichia coli K12 by Gamma Radiation)

  • A comparative experiment was conducted to compare the effects of persulfate with gamma radiation on the disinfection efficiencies against Escherichia coli K12. The microorganism used for the disinfection experiments were prepared by transferring a bacterial stock culture into a 50 ml nutrient broth an incubating for 24 hrs at $37^{\circ}C$. The initial concentration of the harvested culture was approximately $10^7$ to $10^9CFU\;ml^{-1}$. The culture solution was irradiated at different absorbed doses of 0.1, 0.2, 0.3, 0.4, 0.5, 0.7, and 1 kGy, respectively. The disinfection efficiency of persulfate with gamma radiation of 0.3 kGy against Escherichia coli K12 was 97.2% and while the gamma radiation only was 90.01% at 0.3 kGy. Therefore, it could be thought that addition of persulfate in the disinfection of Escherichia coli K12 can enhance the disinfection efficiency when it is used together with gamma radiation.
