The purpose of this research is to derive a checklist for the site evaluation of Slow City, and through the excellent cases of Slow City, carry out field investigation to understand the construction characteristics of Slow City in the concept of locality. The subjects of this research are five cases of slow cities in South Korea certified by Citta Slow. Through literature review, combining with the construction characteristics of locality and the evaluation elements of Slow City certification, the checklist of Slow City locality evaluation has been obtained, and the field visit evaluation has been carried out. The change characteristics and construction characteristics are evaluated by the cases. The results are as follows.Through case analysis, it is found that the site-based construction features of Slow City are as follows: Through the introduction of the basic concept of Slow City to create the relevant place environment, and build the overall site of Slow City based on it.The location of Slow City was evaluated as historical·cultural assets>environmental assets>physical assets>living resources, emotional·symbolic assets>social assets.In addition, the level of environmental assets, historical·cultural assets is higher, but the level of living resources, social assets and emotional·symbolic assets is lower. This means that it is necessary to carry out community activities for local residents or use projects to improve regional pride and so on.
The purpose of this thesis is to seek the methodologies for forming the fandoms of the Theatre. For the research, I explain by giving the example of the K-POP, of which the fandom has already been spread. Afterwards, I describe about the items which can substitute the plays and about the limits. By escaping from the passive consumptions, the fandoms have been expanded to the domain in which the culture is reborn. The cultural activities of the fandoms have come out of simply liking the fans, and the domain has been widened to the social activities. In the case of the K-POP, it has gone beyond Korea and has the fandoms in the whole world. Regarding the reasons why the fandoms could be formed in relation to the K-POP, firstly, it is because the project-type stars made by the large-scale agency had existed. Secondly, it is because the methods of accessing the contents had become simple through the online proliferation, such as the YouTube and the SNS's. Lastly, it is because the cultural activities of the fandoms give the joys, thereby continually maintaining the fandoms. If this is substituted for the Theatre, in the case of the Theatre, in order for the large-scale agencies to make the plans for and train the actors and the actresses, there are, somewhat, the excesses. However, if a PR method suitable for the online environment is developed and if the common joy is given to the audience of the Theatre, there is the possibility that the fandoms can be invigorated regarding the Theatre. Although, with regard to the K-POP and the Theatre, there exist the differences between the contents, if the methodologies of the K-POP fandoms, which have invigorated the fandoms and have been managing stably, are substituted for the plays, the invigoration of the fandoms is possible regarding the Theatre, too.
The study objected to the 120 persons out of 360 persons who have registered under the association of the dental technicians in Pusan to grasp contents about improvement of life long education of the present day of November, 1987, and its results, which we have acquired by this study were as follows : 1. In this study, we examined how the United States, Chinese, and Japanese viewers perceive the morality of the main characters in the family drama 'Take Care of Mom' and the influence of the perceived morality has on drama enjoyment and quality evaluation. Results show that the viewers from all three countries evaluated 'Hoonjae' favorably and evaluated selfish older brother, 'Hyung Kyu', unfavorably. This means there are common norms that exist in all three countries for judging the good and evil in a drama. However, the main female characters that played opposing characteristics were evaluated differently from all three countries. This is because the relationship between parents and children, and the role of mother and woman were perceived differently from each country. These results support the argument that consumption of drama may differ by viewer's cultural background. Additionally, the research hypothesis that 'moral evaluation of major characters will influence the drama enjoyment and evaluation of the drama quality' was not supported in China and Japan, and was only supported by the U.S. viewers.
Among the cultural industries, the game industry is the most economically valuable industry. It has been about twenty years since the game policy has been implemented and the game laws have been enacted. If the law is a willing expression for the realization of the policy, the orientation of the game policy can be grasped through revision of the game laws. SOUND RECORDS, VIDEO PRODUCTS, AND GAME SOFTWARE ACT, established in 1999, and GAME INDUSTRY PROMOTION ACT, which was enacted in 2006, are regulated by many revisions. In this paper, I try to understand the direction and meaning of Korean game policy(classification, game dysfunction, gambling, industry growth) through the contents of the revision of the game law for 20 years. The game policy shown through the amendment of the game law is intended to protect the game by regulating the game, and to protect the game user by preventing the gambling and preventing the game dysfunction, and to increase autonomy of users and choice of producers by switching to self rating system, and based on this, an environment for continuous industrial growth is created. In the future, game policies should consider cooperation with social areas beyond game-specific areas. On the other hand, it needs to respond to new agendas such as polarization of industrial structure, fair environment, employment environment.
This study is aimed at researching Gyobang Dance performed by gisaeng of Gyobang in the banquet of Tonshinsa in Yeongnam Jwa-do Province. For this study, Hae-haeng-chong-che, a collection of 28 travel essays written by Joseon Tonshinsa after visiting Japan, and a collection of literary works were analyzed. Joseon Tonshinsa used Yeongnam Jwa-do Province as a route to Japan in obedience to a royal command, and Yeongnam U-do Province as a way back to Hanyang after completing their missions. The country gave a huge banquet to relieve Tonshinsa's anxiety about the voyage and to pray for a safe trip. The banquets were concentrated in Yeongnam Jwa-do Province, the way down to Busan departing from Hanyang. Looking into Tonshinsa's records, it can be seen that Tonshinsa banquets took place in Andong, Yeongcheon, Gyeongju, Milyang, and Busan. Gyobang Dance performed at Tonshinsa banquets includes Geommu, Hwangchangmu, Cheoyongmu, Cheondo, Mudong, Ipchum, and Jungchum. Through Tonshinsa envoy, 'Jeseon Tonshinsa-gil' was formed in Yeongnam Jwa-do Province, and through Tonshinsa banquets, the artistry of Gyobang Dance was compiled. Nevertheless, present Yeongnam Jwa-do Province has remarkably less Gyobang Dance passed down in comparison to Yeongnam U-do Province. For this reason, there is a need to look into Gyobang Dance of Yeongnam Jwa-do Province. The purpose of this study is to closely examine the cultural and artistic characteristics of Gyobang Dance performed at Tonshinsa banquets in Yeongnam Jwa-do Province formed through Joseon Tonshinsa-gil.

New technology leads the fast changes to cope with the fourth industrial revolution in the modern society. To meet the changes of the times, not only daily life but also cultural life of the modern people are changing, and these changed the times when we watch the cultural performances such as drama, musical, and opera that we should appreciate onsite into the times to see them whenever and wherever we want to see upon digitalizing them. However, studies have not been actively performed on the performance videos unlike other areas probably since they expect better image quality and services. Hence, considering the expectations from performance video contents by consumers as benefit, convenience, and innovation, this study was conducted to review the effectiveness of these attributes on the trust and satisfaction level. Also, upon reviewing the effectiveness of these on the word of mouth effect, expansion potential of the performance video contents was investigated to deduct the meaningful implications. Study results showed that benefit and convenience affected trust and satisfaction positively while innovation did not affect them at all. Yet, trust and satisfaction showed the positive influence on the word of mouth effect.
This study sought to explore the demand in the social service sector and present policy implications, focusing on the vulnerable in rural villages exposed to worse conditions amid the Covid-19 crisis. To this end, the social service needs of vulnerable groups by household type were analyzed by utilizing the raw data of the 2018 Survey on Rural Well-Being. Analysis showed that the greatest demand social services for all rural villages, the elderly, the disabled, one-person, one elderly and low-income households were income support services, while in household that included children the demand was for childcare and education-related services. The second-highest social services in terms of demand were cultural leisure vacation support services for all rural villages, healthcare-related services for the elderly, the disabled, one elderly and low-income households, cultural leisure vacation support services for households including children and daily life support services for single-person households. Based on these results, a measure was proposed to support social services, tailored to vulnerable groups in rural villages. In addition, the government's lack of a consultation system between urban and rural welfare policies, such as a basic plan for health and welfare in rural villages, led this paper to discuss the need for a feedback function and dedicated formulation of mid- to long-term policies in rural villages. It also proposed the establishment of conditions for providing customized social services for rural villages.
Film literacy comprises the process of producing a new creation through understanding the elements that make up a film, the content of a film, and a critical and creative thinking process. Film literacy is employed in fields such as composition, science, social studies, and geography, and, additionally, it is used to cultivate humanities literacy and critical thinking skills. Yet despite the large proportion of the film script in the movie, it is not easy to find literacy education cases that use film English as a teaching method. Film English is a practical and authentic material, and is suitable as an English learning material in an EFL context like Korea. However, the approach of using films to teach and learn differs according to the content and genre of a film. Thus, the teacher may have a difficult time organizing and preparing for class. This study suggests six class activities that can be commonly applied to English classes using films based on the areas of critical, cultural, and creative (3Cs) activities. Four hundred and five college students taking Movie English classes participated in the present study and frequency analysis was conducted to find out their preferences through a questionnaire survey. The results from conducting class activities in university liberal arts classes suggest that the most preferred activities of students are related to cultural, critical, and creative, in that order. Creative activities that are far beyond English instruction utilizing various digital tools or providing additional reading materials can be a burden on learners.
This study was designed to explore the ways to improve the organization and implementation of the curriculum for the small rural middle schools. In order to do this, the situations and demands in organizing and operating the curriculum were analyzed through interviews and classroom observations. Having separated the country into 5 distinct regions and the cases of 10 small rural middle schools across these regions of the country were directly observed and analyzed. As a result of the study, it was necessary to prepare a fundamental solution to the following problems: 1) insufficient linkage between school levels of integrated operating schools in terms of curriculum, 2) lack of educational facilities and cultural space in rural areas in terms of local communities, and 3) supply and demand of teachers in small-scale middle schools in rural areas in terms of supply and demand of teachers. Based on the discussed issues, the following implications could be drawn for the improvement and support of school curriculum organization and implementation. Firstly, the autonomy in organizing and operating curriculums for small rural middle schools should be greatly expanded so that integrated schools or joint curriculums between schools can be operated in a robust manner. Secondly, it needs to strengthen the out-of-school support for small rural middle schools alongside local governments and local communities, including the operation of Edu buses and the construction of multipurpose educational and cultural centers. Finally, it is necessary to address the difficulties of operating circuit teachers by systematically expanding the pool of teachers and instructors, and managing teachers and instructors at the level of the local education office.
