해외 농업스타트업(Agricultural Startup) 성공요인에 관한 사례연구: 'C사'의 제2창업기(바나나 팜 개발사례)를 중심으로 (A Case Study on the Success Factors of Overseas Agricultural Startup: Focusing on the Case of Banana Farm in Cote d'Ivoire)

  • 본 연구는 해외 바나나 농장(Farm) 사례연구로서 지역적 한계를 벗어나, 업종에 대한 패러다임 변화측면에서 지금까지 거의 시도되지 못했던 글로벌농업스타트업을 대상으로 하였다. 현지에서 직접 참여·관찰하고 학습된 사업화 과정과 기업가정신, 경영관리 차원에서 '글로벌 농업스타트업' 성공요인을 밝히기 위한 목적으로 연구되었다. 글로벌농업스타트업을 연구하기 위해 글로벌스타트업(Global Startup)과 글로벌농업스타트업(Global Agricultural Startup)에 대한 비교 분석 또한 시도하였다. 실제 분석은 '정의', '구성요소', '성공요인'으로 이루어졌고, 구분 가능한 두개념의 차이를 확인하고자 하였다. 사례분석은 바나나 농장(Farm)을 직접 관찰·경험하는 참여행동연구(Participatory Action Research)의 장점을 최대한 살리고자 하였다. 바나나 농장 사례의 경우 농장개발을 위한 준비과정과 농장개발 및 관리과정으로 구분함으로써 농장관리의 전과정을 통한 방법론과 고려되어지는 다양한 변수까지도 설명하였다. 구체적인 실패사례를 극복하고 대응하는 과정을 통해 연구의 신뢰성과 타당성을 확보하고자 하였으며, 기업가정신과 경영관리 및 조직 관련 사례연구는 기존 선행연구에서 이론화되었던 구성요소와 경영관리에 속하는 이론적 분야들을 세분화해 적용하여 분석하였다. 본 연구는 해외농업 진출 시 자회사나 합작 또는 해외법인 형태로서 진출이 아닌 본사를 해외로 직접 이전하여 현지진출 사업을 일으키는 과정에 대한 거의 최초의 연구이다. 특히 지금까지 소개되지 않았던 글로벌농업스타트업으로서 지역적으로는 아프리카, 규모로는 스타트업, 업종은 농업에 해당하는 특이한 사례이다. 기업가정신(Entrepreneurship)에 있어서도 지금까지 시도되지 않았던 농업사례에서 기업가 정신 구성요소인 혁신성, 위험감수성, 진취성, 비전공유, 사회적기여, 리더십 등이 어떻게 발현되고 효과가 나타나는지도 구체적으로 사례화 했다. 경영관리 및 문화적 측면도 해외사업에서 단지 문화적 측면이 중요하다는 주장에서 더 나아가 채용·직무·임금·퇴직·개발·조직 구조 관리 등에서도 개별 실패사례와 이의 대응사례를 같이 확인하였다. 그 결과, 해외 농업스타트업 기업운영에서 '기업가정신', '영농관리', '경영관리' 측면에 대한 이론적 확인과 더불어 실무적, 대응적 토대를 제시했다는 점에 연구의 의의와 시사점이 존재한다.

  • 본 연구는 상표자산의 구성요소에 대한 선행요인을 분석하고 이를 토대로 하여 상표자산 구성요소와 상표자산 영향요인간의 관계 그리고 상표자산 구성요소와 구매의도간의 관계를 규명하고 한국과 영국을 중심으로 비교하여 상표자산관리 방안을 도출해보고자 하였다. 연구결과, 정보탐색은 제품지식에 정(+)의 영향을 미치며, 상표태도와 상표지식은 상표 충성도와 상표 가치에 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 그리고 상표충성도와 상표가치는 구매의도에 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 정보원천의 경우, 한국에서는 제품지식에 정(+)의 영향을 미치고 있는 반면, 영국에서는 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났다.

  • The expansion of air transport on a global scale with ever increasing traffic densities has brought about problems that must be solved through new multilateral mechanisms. Looking to the immediate future, air transport will require new forms of international cooperation in technical and economic areas. Air transport by its very nature should have been a counterforce to nationalism. Yet, the regulatory system in civil aviation is still as firmly rooted in the principle of national sovereignty as when it was first proclaimed at t-11e Paris Convention of 1919 and reaffirmed in the Chicago Convention. Sovereignty over the airspace has remained the cornerstone of relations between states in all respects of air transport. The importance of sovereignty over air space embodied in article 1 of the Chicago Conrenton also is responsible for restricting the authority of ICAO as an intergovernmental regulatory agency. The Orgenization, for all its extensive efforts, has only limited authority. ICAO sets standards but cannot enforce them; it devises solutions but cannot impose them. To implement its rules ICAO most rely not so much on legal requirements as on the goodwill of states. It has been forty-eight years since international community set the foundations of the international system in civil aviation action. Profound political, economic and technological changes have taken place in air transport. The Chicago Convention is living proof that staes can work together to make air transport a safe mode of travel. The law governing international civil auiation is principally based on international treaties and on other regulation agreed to by governments, for the most part through the mechanism of ICAO. The role of ICAO international standards and recommended practices and procedures dealing with a broad range of technical matters could hardly be overestimated. The organization's ability to develop these standards and procedures, to adapt them continuously to the rapid sate of change and development of air transport, should be particularly stressed. The role of ICAO in the area of the development of multilateral conventions on international air law has been successful but to a certain degree. From the modest starting-point of the Tokyo Convention, we have seen more adequate international instruments prepared within the scope of ICAO activities, adopted: the Hague Convention of 1970 for the suppression of Unlawful Seizure of Aircraft and the Montreal Convention of 1971 for the Suppression of Unlawful Acts against the Safety of Civil Aviation. The work of ICAO in the new domain of international law conventions concerning what has been loosely termed above as the criminal problems connected with international air transport, in particular the problem of armed aggression against aircraft, should be positively appreciated. But ICAO records in the domain of developing a uniform legal system of international carriage by air are rather disappointing. The problem of maintaining and developing the uniformity of this regulation exceeds the scope of interest and competence of governmental transport agencies. The expectations of mankind linked to it are too great to give up trying to restore the uniform legal system of international air carriage that would create proper conditions for its further growth. It appears that ICAO has, at present, a good opportunity for doing this. The hasty preparation of ICAO draft conventions should be definitely excluded. Every Preliminary draft convention ought to be sent to Governments of all member-States for consideration, So that they could in form ICAO in due time of their observation. The problom of harmonizing a uniform law of international air carriage with that of other branches of international transport should demand more and more of its attention. ICAO cooperation with other international arganization, especially these working in the field of international transport, should be strengthened. ICAO is supposed to act as a link and a mediator among, at times the conflicting interests of member States, serving the happiness and peace of all of the world. The transformation of the contemporary world of developing international relations, stimulated by steadily growing international cooperation in its various dimensions, political, economic, scientific, technological, social and cultural, continuously confronts ICAO with new task.

중국(中國) 연변지구(延邊地區) 조선족(朝鮮族)마을의 구성(構成) 룡정시 지신향 장재촌을 대상으로 (Tie Spatial Structure of Ch'ang-ts'ai-ts'un Village A Case Study on a Rural Village of Korean Immigrants in Yen-pien Area of China)

  • Ch'ang-Ts'al-Ts'un is a rural Village near Lung-jing City in Yen-pien Korean Autonomous Province of China. It was formed about 100 years ago by Korean Immigrants and has been developed maintaing the characteristics of traditional Korean architecture. Therefore investigating the spatial structure of this village is a meanigful work to confirm and explore one branch of Korean architecture. This study aims at analyzing the spatial structure of the village using direct data collected from the field work and indirect data from books and maps. The field work consists of on-the-site survey of the village layout, interviews of residents, observation notes and photography. Ch'ang-Ts'ai-Ts'un is located 360-370 m high above the sea level and at the side of a long valley. A river flows in the middle of the valley and relatively flat arable land exists at the both sides of the river. The location of the village related to the surrounding river and mountains suggests that the site of the village was chosen according to Feng-Shui, Chinese and Korean traditional architectural theory. The main direction of the house layouts is South-western. The village has been growing gradually until today. Therefore it is meaningful to make the village layout before Liberation(1946 A.D.) because the characteristics of Korean architecture prevailed more in that period. The area of the previous village is limited to the west side of the creek. New houses were later added to the east of the creek, forming a 'New Village'. Previously the village was composed of 3 small villages: Up, Middle and Down. Also the main access roads connecting the village with the neighboring villages were penetrating the village transversely. Presently the main access road comes to the village longitudinally from the main highway located in front of the village. The retrospective layout shows the existence of well-formed Territory, Places and Axes, thus suggesting a coherent Micro-cosmos. The boundary of imaginery territory perceived by present residents could be defined by linking conspicous outside places sorrounding the village such as Five-mountains, Front-mountain, Shin-dong village, Standing-rock, Rear-mountain and Myong-dong village. Inside the territory there are also the important places such as Bus-stop, Memorial tower of patriots, Road-maitenance building and the village itself. And inside it 5 transverse and 1 longitudinal axes exist in the form of river, roads and mountains. The perceived spatial structure of the village formed by Places, Axes and Territory is geometrical and well-balanced and suggests this village is fit for human settlement. The administrative area of the village is about 738 ha, 27 % of which is cultivated land and the rest is mountain area. Initially the village and surrounndings were covered with natural forest But the trees have been gradually cut down for building and warning houses, resulting in the present barren and artificial landscape with bare mountains and cultivated land. At present the area of the village occupied by houses is wedge-shaped, 600 m wide and 220 m deep in its maximum. The total area of the village is $122,175m^{2}$. The area and the rate of each sub-division arc as follow. 116 house-lots $91,465m^{2}$ (74.9 %) Land for public buildings and shops $2,980m^{2}$ (2.4 %) Roads $17,106m^{2}$ (14.0 %) Creek $1,356m^{2}$ (1.1 %) Vacant spaces and others $9,268m^{2}$ (7.6 %) TOTAL $122,175m^{2}$ (100.0 %) Each lot is fenced around with vertical wooden pannels 1.5-1.8 m high and each house is located to the backside of the lot. The open space of a lot is sub-divided into three areas using the same wooden fence: Front yard, Back yard and Access area. Front and back yards are generally used for crop-cultivation, the custom of which is rare in Korea. The number of lots is 116 and the average size of area is $694.7m^{2}$. Outdoor spaces in the village such as roads, vacant spaces, front yard of the cultural hall, front yard of shops and spacse around the creek are good 'behavioral settings' frequently used by residents for play, chatting, drinking and movie-watching. The road system of the village is net-shaped, having T-junctions in intersections. The road could be graded to 4 categories according to their functions: Access roads, Inner trunk roads, Connecting roads and Culs-de-sac. The total length of the road inside the village is 3,709 m and the average width is 4.6 m. The main direction of the road in the village is NNE-SSE and ESE-WNW, crossing with right angles. Conclusively, the spatial structure of Ch'ang-Ts'ai-Ts'un village consists of various components in different dimensions and these components form a coherent structure in each dimension. Therefore the village has a proper spatial structure meaningful and appropriate for human living.

3D 바이오프린팅 사례로 본 다학제간 융복합 연구에 대한 소고 (A study on multidisciplinary and convergent research using the case of 3D bioprinting)

  • 본 논문에서는 공학 분야에서 '공동연구' (collaboration) 과정을 연구 주제로 설정하고, 효과적인 협업의 형태 및 협업을 통해 생성되는 문화 또는 지식 창출의 가능성 및 함의에 대해 다룬다. '융합'에 대한 규범적 정의 및 행위 양식을 제안하는 방법을 취하지 않고, 융합의 한 형태로 공동연구를 선택하여 융합의 가능성을 탐색한다. 특히, 사회과학적 분석 방법을 빌어 3D 바이오프린팅 연구실에서 이뤄지고 있는 융합기술의 형성과정을 기술 및 분석하여, 공동연구를 통한 융합연구가 공학연구 문화 및 공학교육에 던지는 함의에 대해 논한다. 이를 위해 논문에서는 다음과 같은 질문을 던진다. 첫째, 학문하는 문화, 역사, 그리고 학문의 이론적 배경 및 방법이 전혀 다른 연구자들이 만나서 '공동연구'가 가능하며, 공동연구를 통해 유의미한 융합적 지식과 기술을 창출할 수 있을까? 둘째, 공동연구를 독려하고 촉진시키는 연구조직의 구성 조건 및 문화적 요소들은 무엇이 있을까? 셋째, 공동연구를 통해 소위 π자형 융합인재의 육성이 가능할까? 연구자들은 3D 바이오프린팅 사례를 통해 다음과 같은 결론을 내리고자 한다. 첫째, 정부 및 대학 차원에서의 재정적, 정책적 지원이 중요하며, 무엇보다 책임연구자의 융합연구에 대한 개방적, 능동적, 탄력적인 태도가 우선되어야 한다. 책임연구자는 학문적 배경이 다른 연구자들 사이에서 지적, 물적, 사회적, 인간적, 기술적 교류를 가능하게 하는 연구실 환경을 만드는 것이 중요하다. 둘째, 융합연구를 위해 해결해야 하는 도전적 난제들이 많음에도 생명과학과 프린팅 기술이 융합하여 3D 바이오프린팅이란 분야를 개척한 것처럼 이종적 학문 간의 의미있는 융합은 가능하다. 셋째, 융합연구의 장점 중의 하나는 4차 산업혁명 시대를 주도할 π형 인재 양성할 기회를 제공한다는 점이다.
