들깨, 차조기 작물의 수확 후 저장 기간에 따른 종자 발아 변이 (Variation in Seed Germination According to the Storage Period after Harvest in the Accessions of Perilla Species)

  • 우리나라에서 수집한 들깨와 차조기의 재배형 및 잡초형 계통들에 대하여 수확 이후 저장기간에 따른 종자발아율 변이를 이해하기 위하여 2016년 가을에 수확한 59개의 들깨, 차조기의 재배형 및 잡초형 계통(재배형 들깨 Type I 15계통, 재배형 들깨 Type II 4계통, 잡초형 들깨 20계통, 잡초형 차조기 20계통)들에 대하여 발아율 및 발아세 조사를 하였다. 수확 후 6개월 동안의 들깨와 차조기의 재배형 및 잡초형 계통들에 대한 발아율 조사에서 재배형 들깨(Type I)의 계통들은 평균 80.8%의 발아율을 보였으나, 들깨와 차조기의 잡초형들은 평균 0.9%와 8.7%의 발아율을 보였다. 또한 재배형 들깨(Type II)의 계통들도 평균 18.2%의 발아율을 보였다. 그리고 발아세의 경우도 재배형 들깨(Type I)의 계통들은 평균 75.8%를 보였으나, 들깨와 차조기의 잡초형들은 평균 0.6%와 6.9%를 보였으며, 재배형 들깨(Type II)의 계통들도 평균 14.3%를 보였다. 그 결과 들깨, 차조기의 재배형 및 잡초형 계통들은 수확 후 1개월째보다 2개월째에서 발아율 및 발아세가 다소 증가한 것으로 보였으나, 그 이후부터 6개월째까지는 크게 증가하지 않는 것으로 보였다. 이상의 결과에 의하면, 재배형 들깨의 경우는 2가지 Type, 즉 발아율이 높은 Type I과 낮은 Type II가 존재하는 것으로 밝혀졌으며, 차조기의 재배형 및 잡초형 계통들은 모두 발아율이 낮은 것으로 밝혀졌다. 본 연구결과는 오늘날 우리나라에서 재배되고 있는 들깨와 차조기 작물의 재배형 및 잡초형 계통들에 대하여 수확 후 6개월까지 저장기간에 따른 종자발아 변이를 이해하는데 기초정보를 제공할 것으로 생각된다.

Spatial Characteristics and Driving Forces of Cultivated Land Changes by Coupling Spatial Autocorrelation Model and Spatial-temporal Big Data

  • With the rapid development of information technology, it is now possible to analyze the spatial patterns of cultivated land and its evolution by combining GIS, geostatistical analysis models and spatiotemporal big data for the dynamic monitoring and management of cultivated land resources. The spatial pattern of cultivated land and its evolutionary patterns in Luoyang City, China from 2009 to 2019 were analyzed using spatial autocorrelation and spatial autoregressive models on the basis of GIS technology. It was found that: (1) the area of cultivated land in Luoyang decreased then increased between 2009 and 2019, with an overall increase of 0.43% in 2019 compared to 2009, with cultivated land being dominant in the overall landscape of Luoyang; (2) cultivated land holdings in Luoyang are highly spatially autocorrelated, with the 'high-high'-type area being concentrated in the border area directly north and northeast of Luoyang, while the 'low-low'-type area is concentrated in the south and in the municipal area of Luoyang, and being heavily influenced by topography and urbanization. The expansion determined during the study period mainly took place in the Luoyang City, with most of it being transferred from the 'high-low'-type area; (3) elevation, slope and industrial output values from analysis of the bivariate spatial autocorrelation and spatial autoregressive models of the drivers all had significant effects on the amount of cultivated land holdings, with elevation having a positive effect, and slope and industrial output having a negative effect.

Variation for Morphological Characters in Cultivated and Weedy Types of Perilla frutescens Britt. Germplasm

  • Morphological variation between cultivated and weedy types of Perilla frutescens var. frutescens and P. frutescens var. crispa were studied in 327 germplasm by examining 17 morphological characters. The germplasm between the two varieties were varied for their qualitative and quantitative characters. The seed coat color of cultivated P. frutescens var. frutescens is commonly light brown and brown while deep brown color was observed in the weedy type P. frutescens var. frutescens and P. frutescens var. crispa. The leaf size, cluster length, plant height, flower number per cluster and seed weight in cultivated P. frutescens var. frutescens were significantly (P<0.05) different from weedy type P. frutescens var. frutescens and P. frutescens var. crispa. The cultivated P. frutescens var. frutescens exhibited significantly higher plant height (158.6 cm) compared to the weedy P. frutescens var. crispa (133.8 cm). Likewise, seed weight was significantly higher in cultivated (1.9 g) than in the weedy type of P. frutescens var. frutescens (1.6 g) and P. frutescens var. crispa (1.4 g). Principal component analysis (PCA) result showed that the first and second principal component cumulatively explained 86.6% of the total variation. The cultivated type P. frutescens var. frutescens and its weedy accessions were not clearly separated with P. frutescens var. crispa by PCA. Hence it requires the use of molecular markers for better understanding of their genetic diversity.

한국, 일본에서 수집한 들깨와 차조기의 재배형 및 잡초형들의 종자발아 변이 (Variation of Seed Germination Among Cultivated and Weedy Types of Perilla Crop in Korea and Japan)

  • 본 연구는 우리나라와 일본에서 재배 및 이용하고 있는 들깨, 차조기 그리고 이들 잡초형 69 계통들에 대하여 종자 특성 및 종자발아 변이에 대한 분석결과는 다음과 같다. 1. 재배형 들깨에서 측정된 100립중은 0.177 g에서부터 0.402 g까지의 범위였고, 종자경도는 대부분의 계통들이 잘 부스러지는 부드러운 특성을 지니고 있었으나, 일부 계통들은 잘 부스러지지 않는 딱딱한 특성을 지니고 있었다. 반면에 잡초형 들깨에서 측정된 100립중은 0.045 g에서부터 0.172 g까지의 범위였고, 종자경도는 모든 계통들이 잘 부스러지지 않는 딱딱한 특성을 지니고 있었다. 2. 재배형 차조기에서 측정된 100립중은 0.054 g에서부터 0.101 g까지의 범위였고, 잡초형 차조기에서 측정된 100립중은 0.059 g에서부터 0.135 g까지의 범위였으며, 그리고 이들의 종자경도는 모든 계통들이 잘 부스러지지 않는 딱딱한 특성을 지니고 있었다. 3. 실온 및 $28^{\circ}C$ 항온조건의 발아율 조사에서 수확 후 1개월째에서는 들깨의 잡초형 그리고 차조기의 재배형 및 잡초형 계통들은 대부분이 50% 이하의 낮은 발아율을 나타내었으나, 재배형 들깨의 일부 계통들이 50% 이상의 발아율을 나타내었다. 그리고 2개월 및 3개월이 경과한 상태에서 들깨의 재배형 및 잡초형 그리고 차조기의 재배형 및 잡초형 계통들은 50% 이상의 발아율을 나타내는 계통들이 많이 나타났다. 4. 들깨와 차조기 작물의 재배형 및 잡초형 계통들에서의 평균발아율 및 평균발아세는 수확 후 1개월째에서 가장 낮고 수확 후 3개월째에서 가장 높은 것으로 나타났으며, 또한 실온 및 $28^{\circ}C$ 항온조건에서의 발아율과 발아세는 $28^{\circ}C$ 항온조건 보다는 실온조건에서 비교적 높은 것으로 나타났다.

지형 특성과 경작지 분포를 고려한 밭정비 유형 분석 - 무안군과 화순군 비교 - (Analysis of Field Infrastructure Improvement Types according to Geographic Characteristics and Spatial Distribution of Upland - Comparison of Muan-gun and Hwasun-gun -)

  • To suggest the field maintenance plan considering the geographical characteristics of the region, we selected representative regions(plain regione and mountain region) and compared spatial distribution of cultivated land in Muan-gun and Hwasun-gun. Firstly, we examined the distribution characteristics of cultivated land according to the scope of the maintenance object with Fragstats. As a result of that, it was found that the cultivated area except rice paddy had the highest aggregation effect. And then, we developed type classification of maintenance considering geographic characteristics and cultivated crops information. As a result of classification, plain land type Muan region was mostly cultivated land suitable for integrated maintenance. On the other hand, Hwasun, a mountainous terrain, needs small-scale maintenance and road maintenance. Based on these results, it was found that more detailed planning is needed for the upland field infrastructure improvement considering the topographic characteristics.

경기지역과 다른 지역에서 생산된 추청벼의 특성에 관한 연구 (Studies on Rice Quality of Chucheongbyeo Cultivated on Gyeonggi and Other Province)

  • This study was carried out to find out rice quality of Chucheongbyeo cultivated on Gyeonggj and other province. Rice type, color difference, amylograph of milled rice and texturograph of cooked rice were not significant between two cultivated region. And fat, protein, Mg and Ca in milled rice were not significant but p, K and Na were significantly different at l% the level between them as 2, 210~2, 420ppwt 1, 304~1, 538ppm and 212~236ppm in Gyeonggi province cultivated rice, and 2, 130~2, 180ppm, 1, 133~1, 180ppm and 197~217ppm in other province, respectively. Also amylose content, alkali distribution and gel consistency were not significant between them.

농작업 유해요인 노출평가를 위한 작목 및 작업분류에 관한 연구 (A Study of Categorization of Farm Types and Crops for Exposure Assessment in Agriculture)

  • Objectives: The purpose of this study is to categorize farm types and analyze the cultivated area and labor input time for each crop over a year in order to decide farm type conducting for the hazard exposure assessment. Methods: Crops ranked within the top 45 by cultivated area in Korea were selected and 15 target crops that exposure assessment had been conducted for through the Rural Development Administration(RDA) pilot research projects were selected. Labor input time was based on data investigated through RDA research surveillance. If there was no data, data from Statistics Korea was used. Data from Statistics Korea was used for total cultivated area. Results: Crops were divided into 5 types: open field crops(Chinese cabbage, Corn, Ginger, Potato), fruits (Mandarin, Pear), green house crops(Cucumber, Lily, Oriental melon, Pumpkin, Tomato), livestock(Poultry), specialty crops(Ginseng, Oyster mushroom, Tobacco). The cultivated area for potato was the largest, and lily was the smallest among the crops. Labor input time over a year was the highest with oyster mushroom and the lowest with pear. Total labor input time by crops was the highest with mandarin and the lowest with Chinese cabbage. Conclusions: To evaluate hazard factors of farm work, it's essential that crops and tasks be classified based on the size of farmers and working hours by farm type. Therefore, the priority of management should be determined based on the cultivated area and total labor time, but the characteristics of tasks in each crop should also be considered.

전남지역 인삼재배 토양의 Arbuscular 균근균 분포 특성 (Distribution of Arbuscular Mycorrhizal Fungi(AMF) at Ginseng Cultivated Fields in Jeonnam Province)

  • 전남지역 인삼재배지의 토착 Arbuscular 균근균(AMF)의 분포와 감염특성을 파악하기 위해 곡성, 영광, 영암, 해남 지역을 대상으로 58개 지점의 토양과 인삼 시료를 채취하여 조사하고 AMF 밀도와 토양특성을 조사하였다. 조사지역의 전체 평균 포자밀도는 건토 1 g당 3.4~5.9개의 분포를 보였으며, 재배연수 3년근 재배지까지는 포자밀도가 다소 증가하는 경향을 보였고, 자연상태 토양 중의 AMF 포자밀도는 건토 1 g 당 6.3~14.7개로서 인삼재배지 보다 포자밀도가 높았다. 포자크기별 분포는 직경 $45{\sim}106{\mu}m$ 범위에 74.3% 정도가 포함되었으며, AMF의 감염 양상은 Paris-type이 주를 이루었다. 평균 감염율은 영암지역의 재배지에서 64.4%로 높게 나타났으나 그 밖의 지역은 40~50%범위를 보였다. 조사지역의 근권토양 중 AMF 외생균사의 길이는 건토 1 g당 0.5~4.4 m 범위로서 인삼의 재배연수가 증가함에 따라 외생균사(external hyphae)의 양이 많아지는 것으로 파악되었다.

  • Biofouling causes many problem in industrial processes, medical health industries, water utilities and our daily life. So detecting formation of biofilm on the surface of medical appliance, water pipe and industrial utility is highly important to prevent the problem caused by biofouling. In this study, we suggest an electrochemical sensor for detecting biofilm. We fabricated the electrochemical sensor in MEMS process and cultivated two different kinds of Pseudomonas aeruginosa RpoN type and Wild type on the surface of electrochemical sensor. Each group of Pseudomonas aeruginosa was cultivated according to the hours of 2, 4, 6, 8, 12 and 24. Then we investigated changes in degree of biofilm cultivation using cyclic voltammetry. As a result, it was observed that peak of the cyclic voltammetry curve is increased according as the biofilm growth on the surface of electrochemical sensor. Also we can discern between Pseudomonas aeruginosa RpoN type and Wild type.

  • Mating of tetrapolar mushrooms is regulated by to chromosomal loci, A and B. A locus contains A gene that expresses a homeodomain protein whereas B locus contains multiple pheromones and receptor genes. In order to characterize the mating loci in Korean cultivated strains of Lentinula edodes, one hundred monokaryotic myclelia were isolated from the basidiospores of cultivated strains, including Cham-A-Ram, Sanjo701, and Sanjo707. Both mating loci were amplified using primer sets targeting conserved sequence regions for homeodomain (HD), pheromone, and receptor genes. Subsequent sequence analysis revealed that the Korean strains contained significant variations in the homeodomain of A locus, even within the same A1 or A2 mating type. Similarly, B locus was also highly diversified in the sequences of pheromones and receptors as well as gene organization. These results enabled us to design mating type-specific probes which can distinguish mating type of each strain. The specificity was confirmed by between intra- and inter-strain mating experiment.
