현미 비정상립이 도정특성에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Abnormal Kernels in Brown Rice on Milling Characteristics)

  • This study was conducted to find out effects of abnormal kernels of 0 to 30% in brown rice on quality characteristics during milling using friction type test mill. The average hardness values of abnormal and normal brown rice kernels were 6.52 kg$_f$, 8.48 kg$_f$, respectively. According to the increase of abnormal kernels in brown rice, grain temperature, required electrical energy, the broken kernels ratio, and the weight of solid matter on the surface of milled rice were increased due to crush of the abnormal kernels during milling, which proves that abnormal kernels in brown rice should be removed before milling to improve milling characteristics.

  • As the nuclear power plant has been operated continuously and increased gradually, transportation and storage of spent fuel are seriously considered nowadays. The transportation cask which contains radioactive material needs to be inspected about structural safety. About safety verification, description of IAEA Safety Standards states that cask must withstand hypothetical accident conditions. In this paper, 9m free drop impact analysis was performed for transportation cask and impact limiter by using the finite element methods. Furthermore, we obtained the dynamic behavior of wood to as compared with safety test results, and verified the safety of transportation cask.

  • Oyster shell is produce by shucking process in oyster farming in southern coast of Korea. In average, about 6.7kg of oyster shell is produced as an industrial waste for 1kg of oyster flesh, and even only in last year, it is estimated that about 150,000 ton of oyster shell is produced. Oyster shell is light weighted and the strength characteristic of it is similar to send. So we would like to test if it is avail to use oyster shell crust as fine aggregate. So we use a crusher to crush oyster shell and review its particle distribution for materialization.

피부관찰기록지 이용여부에 따른 요양병원 간호 인력의 욕창간호 지식과 수행도 및 욕창발생률 (Knowledge, Performance, and Incidence Rate of Pressure Injury Using Skin Observation Records in Long-Term Care Hospitals)

  • Purpose: To demonstrate the importance of comprehensive skin observation as an effective intervention for pressure injury prevention in elderly long-term care hospital patients. Methods: The survey was conducted with 70 nursing staff members working at two long-term care hospitals with 200 beds or less in D city. Data were collected from October 16 to October 23, 2019 and analyzed using descriptive statistics, the chi-square test, and the independent t-test with the SPSS 25.0 program. Results: Nursing care knowledge for pressure injury was similar between the two groups. Conversely, nursing care performance for pressure injury degree of the nursing staff in the hospital using skin observation records performed better than those who did not (t=6.11, p<.001). Furthermore, comprehensive skin assessments in long-term care hospitals using skin observation records showed a lower incidence rate of pressure injury than that showed using general skin assessments (t=-5.28, p=.006). Conclusions: Comprehensive skin assessment is important for pressure injury prevention in elderly long-term care hospital patients. To implement this effectively, it is necessary to devise institutional regulations, guidelines, and systematic education programs.

  • Sole in the footwear usually modified with foaming agent on the polymer resin to improve the lightweightness and crush-cushion effect. In this study, we investigated rheological properties for polymer resin filled with the different type and concentration of foaming agent, capsule type foaming agent and organo-chemical foaming agent, under the time sweep test. Curing times of each polymer resin with different kind of foaming agent are delayed than reference material (epoxy resin with curing agent). In case of adding capsule type foaming agent, however, there is appropriate concentration to reduce the curing time, relatively. When foaming agent is activated, foaming force inflates the sample in contrast to condensation force of curing and then axial normal force develop to the (+) direction. Interestingly, by increase concentration of foaming agent, there is a specific point to break down the axial normal force development. The reason for this phenomenon is that coalescence of foams induce the blocking of axial normal force development.

마이크로핀관의 확관 전후 증발열전달 특성에 관한 실험적 연구 (An Experimental Study on Evaporative Heat Transfer Characteristics in Micro-Fin Tubes Before and After Expansion Process)

  • An experimental study on evaporative heat transfer characteristics in micro-fin tubes before and after expansion process has been performed with R-22. Single-grooved micro-fin tubes with outer diameter of 9.52 mm were used as test sections, and it was uniformly heated by applying direct current to the test tubes. Experiments were conducted at mass flow rates of 20 and 30 kg/hr. For each mass flow rate condition, evaporation temperature was set at 5 and $15^{\circ}C$and heat flux was changed from 6 to 11 kW/$m^2$ The evaporative heat transfer coefficient of micro-fin tubes after expansion is decreased because of the crush of fins and enlargement of inner diameter compared to that before expansion. Convective boiling effect decreased remarkably at higher quality range in the micro-fin tube after expansion, and the difference of the heat transfer coefficient in micro-fin tubes before and after expansion was greater for higher quality region. The evaporative heat transfer coefficient of the micro-fin tube after expansion was 19.9% smaller on the average than that before expansion.

  • With the recent issuance of a dynamic side impact test regulation in the Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard in the United States of America, many aspects of occupant protection in side impact crashes have been under investigation. Many investigations of real world accidents, crash test results and simulation studies have established that in side impact crashes of passenger cars, thoracic and pelvic injuries of occupant are, large part, caused by occupants' impact against the interior side of the vehicle, primarily the door. This paper is concerned with the development of a lumped mass computer model, which simulates the interaction of a struck car door and an adjacent seated occupant in side impacr, based CTP code which has been successfully used in vehicle and occupant simulation. New model developments include elimination of influence of vehicle side structure stiffness in the occupant injury responses. The model was used to investigated the effect of various door padding characteristics on occupant responses to improve vehicle safety performance. The evaluation of different crush properties of door padding have also focused to understand of behavior of impacted occupant. Results from simulations, The effects of both material coefficients $C_{f}$ and p were illustrated in terms of occupant injury criteria TTI and pelvis.

화강풍화토(花崗風化土)의 파쇄(破碎) 및 다짐에너지가 투수성(透水性)에 미치는 영향(影響) (Permeability Effect of Decomposed Granite Soil under the Influence of Crushability and Compaction Energy)

  • 다짐 에너지 변화(變化)에 따르는 화강풍화토의 입도변화(粒度變化) 및 파쇄량(破碎量)이 투수성(透水性)에 미치는 영향에 대해 연구하였다. 토립자(土粒子)의 파쇄(破碎)는 토립자(土粒子)의 표면적비(表面積比)($S_w{^{\prime}}/S_w$)로서 나타냈고, 다짐에너지를 변화(變化)시키면서 실시한 다짐 시험결과(試驗結果) 만들어진 시료(試料)에 변수위투수시험을 행(行)하여 투수계수와 최적함수비(最適含水比)와의 관계를 조사(調査)하였다. 그 결과(結果) 다음과 같은 사항을 알 수 있었다. (1) 다짐에너지의 증대(增大)에 따라 파쇄(破碎)가 커지고 간극비(間隙比)가 감소되고 건조밀도는 영공극곡선(零空隙曲線)에 평행(平行)하게 증대(增大)된다. (2) 표면적비(表面積比)는 다짐회수에 관계없이 $S_w{^{\prime}}/S_w=0.33(P)^{0.96}$로 표시(表示)할 수 있다. (3) 입자파쇄(粒子破碎)가 가장 크게 일어나는 입경(粒徑)은 0.5~1 mm 범위이다. (4) 최적함수비(最適含水比) 상태에서 투수계수 K와 간극비함수(間隙比函數) $\frac{e^3}{1+3}$와의 관계는 양면대수지상(兩面對數紙上)에서 직선 관계가 성립(成立)한다. (5) 최적함수비(最適函數比) 상태에서 다짐에너지가 증가(增加)되면 200번(番)체 통과량(通過量)은 거의 직선적으로 증가(增加)되며 표면적비(表面積比)의 증대(增大)는 투수성(透水性)의 저하(低下)를 갖고온다.

단자유도계를 이용한 충격흡수시설의 설계법 개발 (Study on the Design Method Development of Crash Cushion Using Single Degree of Freedom)

  • 도로를 이용하는 운전자들의 안전을 위해서 없어서는 안될 차량방호안전시설이 충격 흡수시설이다. 그러나 충격 흡수시설의 합리적이고 현실적인 설계방법이 미비한 상태임으로 대안없이 충돌시험에만 의존하고 있고 이것으로 인해 시간적, 물리적 손실이 큰 실정이다. 본 연구에서는 실차 충돌시험 데이터를 이용하여 삼차원의 복잡한 충돌거동에 대해 탑승자의 안전을 고려한 단자유도계 적용의 적합성을 증명하고 충격흡수시설의 거동을 분석함으로써 효과적인 단자유도계 충격흡수시설 설계법을 개발하고자 했다. 그리하여 단자유도계를 이용한 충돌해석 모델을 정립하고 충격흡수시설 설계법을 제시하였다. 충격흡수시설 설계법의 유효성을 검증하기 위해 단자유도계 설계법으로 CC2등급 충격흡수시설을 설계 제작하여 실차 충돌시험을 실시하였다. 성능시험 결과 매우 만족스러운 결과가 도출되었고 이로써 단자유도계 충격흡수시설 설계법은 충격흡수시설을 설계하는데 있어 유용한 방법중의 하나임이 증명되었다.

폴리에틸렌 배관 전기융착부 단기성능 평가를 위한 융합물량 영향 평가 (Effect of tack of Fusion Defects on Short-Term Performance of Polyethylene Electrofusion Joints)

  • 본 연구에서는 폴리에틸렌 배관 전기융착부 단기성능 평가를 위한 비파괴검사를 실시할 경우 발견되는 결함에 대한 판정기준을 개발하였다. 인위적으로 $3.8mm\~25mm$ 내에서 6가지 크기의 결함을 삽입한 시험 편을 설계 및 제작하여 기계적 평가를 실시하고 또 이론적 해석을 하였다. 안전계수 2를 적용하여 유효 응력을 산정할 경우 최대 허용 가능한 결함 크기는 11 mm(열선 폭의 $30\%$)이며 안전 계수를 4를 적용할 경우에 최대 허용 가능한 결함 크기는 3.8mm(열선 폭의 $10\%$)이다.
