Wing flap deflection angles of a supersonic transport are optimized to improve transonic cruise performance. For this end, a numerical optimization method is adopted using a three-dimensional unstructured Euler code and a discrete adjoint code. Deflection angles of ten flaps; five for leading edge and five fur railing edge, are employed as design variables. The elliptic equation method is adopted for the interior grid modification during the design process. Interior grid sensitivities are neglected for efficiency. Also tested is the validity of the approximate gradient evaluation method for the present design problem and found that it is applicable for loading edge flap design in cases of no shock waves on the wing surface. The BFGS method is used to minimize the drag with constraints on the lift and upper surface Mach numbers. Two design examples are conducted; one is leading edge flap design, and the other is simultaneous design of leading edge and trailing edge flaps. The latter gave a smaller drag than the former by about two counts.

경제 성장에 따른 소득의 증가와 사회구조의 변화에 따른 자동화, 고속화, 여가화 등으로 1990년 이후 부부 동반, 가족 동반 여행이 급증하면서 이전의 패키지 여행이나 개별 여행에서 가족 여행의 추세로 변화하게 되어 크루즈 선박에도 많은 영향을 주었다. 최근에는 가족 단위의 공간이 필요하면서부터 객실의 호화 실내 의장을 한 크루즈 선들이 주목받고 있다. 본 연구는 크루즈 선박의 선실 중 고급형 객실(Royal suite, Suite)의 실내 공간 특성을 파악하여 향후 크루즈 선박을 개발하는데 있어 기초자료를 구축하고자 한다.

21세기는 소득증가에도 불구하고 여가시간의 감소로 인하여 최단시간에 다양한 경험을 할 수 있는 크루즈 여행이 최고의 관광상품으로 부상하게 되었고, 여행수요가 증가함에 따라 신규 크루즈 선박의 건조량이 증가하고 있다. 이에 선박수주 세계 1,2위를 지키고 있는 우리나라 조선업계는 부가가치가 높은 크루즈선 시장 진입을 위한 장기전략을 마련하고 크루즈선의 설계와 시공 능력확보 등의 목표를 설정하였으며, 크루즈 산업에 첫발을 내딛는 현시점에서 크루즈선의 변화의 추이에 관심을 가지고 살펴볼 필요성이 있다. 본 연구는 크루즈 산업의 발전동향과 공간구성의 변화를 시기별로 크측즈의 도약기, 침체기, 발전기, 절정기로 나누어 크루즈 선박 내의 승객거주구역의 공간규모ㆍ비율, 공간구성, 공간유형, 실내디자인 특성의 변화추이에 대하여 분석하여 향후 국내에서 크루즈선을 설계함에 있어 실내디자인계획의 기초자료를 구축하고자 한다.

The purpose of this study was to analyze the planning characteristics and it's application of container architecture as case study. Field survey was used to analyze the spatial planning characteristics in terms of development outline, appearance, exterior, floor plan and interior of eight famous cases in Berlin, Hamburg, Hannover, Amsterdam and Paris of Europe. The results of this study were as follows; Firstly, good examples of container architectures such as student housing, social service center, temporary medical facility and cruise terminal in Europe suggested the potential of domestic applicability in various purposes and development. Secondly, various types of freight container, building container and module frame system should be developed with their reprocessing environment. Thirdly, it is necessary for us to develop ISO type(20~40ft) container and standard plan with interior and storage design reflecting demands of residents. Finally, the use of container module will be an environmental-friendly alternative for its modularity and reusability, so it should be used as it is without severe deformation. The development of environmental friendly energy sources such as hydro and solar power is necessary for domestic container architecture as well. The container design should include the use of high quality of exterior finishing materials and the plan of aesthetical color planning to make the building a local landmark.
