중국에서 수입된 잉어 및 붕어의 잉어부종바이러스병 및 허피스바이러스성 조혈기괴사증 모니터링 (Monitoring of carp edemavirus disease and herpesviral hematopoietic necrosis in Cyprinus carpio and Carassius auratus imported from China)

  • In this study, carp edemavirus disease and herpesviral hematopoietic necrosis were examined in carp (Cyprinus carpio) and crucian carp (Carassius auratus) imported from China. From August 2016 to May 2017, 100 carp and 300 crucian carp were examined. There were no clinical symptoms in all the tested fish, and no internal or external parasitic infections were identified except for the detection of Argulus sp. in one leather carp. Carp edema virus disease was examined by PCR in C. carpio, but all were negative. In C. auratus, herpesviral hematopoietic necrosis was tested by PCR and 4 out of 300 were positive. The results of this study are expected to be useful as basic data for conducting risk analysis on the relevant organisms and counterpart countries or for designating new pathogens for quarantine.

살충제 imidacloprid의 붕어(Carassius auratus L.)중 행적 및 장기에 대한 독성 (Behavior of the insecticide imidacloprid in crucian carp (Carassius auratus L.) and its toxic effects on organs)

  • 살충제 imidacloprid(1-(6-chloro-3-pyridylmethyl)-N-nitroimidazolidin-2-ylideneamine)의 붕어(Carassius auratus L.) 체내 행적과 장기에 미치는 영향을 구명하기 위하여 imidacloprid를 환경추정농도인 0.064 mg $kg^{-1}$로 처리한 시험수에 붕어를 4일간 경시적으로 노출시켰다. 수중의 imidacloprid는 붕어체내에 흡수되어 노출 2일차에 최대 흡수량을 나타내었으며, 다른 장기에 비해 쓸개에서 농도가 가장 높았다. 붕어 사육수에서 미확인 주대사산물과 imidacloprid urea가 대사산물로 검출되었다. 또한 붕어체내에 흡수된 imidacloprid의 주요 배설경로는 담도이었으며, 장기에 대한 조직학적 이상증상은 발견되지 않았다.

  • To optimize the mixing ratio of ingredients to obtain the best sensory qualities, a response surface methodology with a central composite design was performed on hot water extracts using crucian carp Carassius carassius treated with diluted vinegar (pH 5.24-5.30). The optimal solutions for four parameters (overall acceptability, odor, flavor, and taste) were obtained using the second-order response surface regression models. The optimal formulation appeared to be 124.15 g of ginger and 96.09 g of garlic with 1 kg of ground crucian carp meat based on the desirability function technique.

붕어 고음추출물의 생리활성 (Biological Activities of Extracts from Crucian Carp)

  • The pharmacological effects of hydrocooked extracts of crucian carp have been investigated. All of the hydrocooked extracts showed the contractile effect on the isolated rat duodenum and decreased to a certain extent the normal blood pressure in anesthetized rat. The hydrocooked extracts also exhibited a dose-dependent relaxation on the isolated rat aorta precontracted with 50 mM KCl. All of these except for RM 60 fraction haying cytotoxic effect against MCF-7 human breast cancer cell showed neither antibacterial activity nor antitumor activity. In addition, we found that although body weight gain in the hydrocooked extracts treated group were all reduced significantly compared to control group, there were no significant changes in the hematological parameters, except that the levels of high-density lipoprotein was significantly increased. These results suggest that the hydrocooked extracts of crucian carp may contain a variety of bioactive materials.

자연산 3배체 붕어 (Carassius auratus) 클론 집단에 대한 유전학적 동정 (Genetic Identification on Natural Population of Triploid Crucian Carp, Carassius auraus in Korea)

  • 국내에 서식하는 붕어 (Carassius auratus) 3배체 집단을 동정하고 이들을 대상으로 분자생물학적, 세포유전학적 및 형태학적 특징을 분석하였다. 본 자연산 붕어 3배체 집단은 전형적인 3배체의 세포 유전학적 특성들, 즉 이배체에 비해 1.5배의 세포 및 핵의 크기, 3n=150의 염색체수, 그리고 2배체 (3.6pg/cell)에 비해 1.5배 증가된 DNA 함량 (5.4 pg/cell)을 나타내었다. 또한 본 3배 체붕어 집단은 DNA fingerprinting 분석에 의해 유전적인 구성이 동일한 클론 집단인 것으로 판명되었고 클론 3배체 붕어들은 2배체와 비교시 매우 일양한 형태학적 특성을 나타내었으며 모두 암컷인 전암컷 집단이었다. 본 연구의 분석에 사용된 함안 집단의 3배체 붕어 집단 이외에도 논산, 주문진, 속초 및 삼례 붕어 집단을 대상으로 3배체 출현 빈도를 조사한 결과, 모든 지역에서 $80\%$ 이상의 높은 3배체 빈도를 보였다.

낙동강 상류 서식 어류의 부위별 중금속 분포 특성 (Studies on Heavy Metal Characteristics by Part of Fish in Upper Region of Nakdong River)

  • 낙동강 상류지역의 안동댐, 임하댐, 영주댐 유역에 서식하는 물고기에 대하여 근육부, 아가미, 위, 간 부위로 분리하여 중금속 분석을 수행하였다. 분석한 물고기는 갈겨니(dark chub), 강준치(skygager), 꺽지(coreoperca herzi), 끄리(Korean piscivorous chub), 누치(cornet fish), 떡붕어(Japan crucian carp), 메기(catfish), 배스(bass), 붕어(crucian carp), 쏘가리(mandarin fish), 잉어(carp), 참마자(long-nosed barbel), 치리(Korean sharpbelly) 등 13개 어종으로 ICP/MS를 이용하여 분석하였다. 분석 결과 전체 평균 농도를 기준으로 근육부는 수은을 제외한 모든 중금속 항목에서 다른 부위에 비해 낮았다. 아가미 부위는 크롬, 망간, 니켈, 납, 위 부위는 아연, 간 부위는 철, 구리, 비소, 카드뮴이 다른 금속에 비해 높은 농도값을 나타내었다.

Melamine과 cyanuric acid의 혼합투여가 붕어(Carassius carassius)의 신장에 미치는 조직병리학적 영향 (Histopathological effect of experimental feeding of melamine and cyanuric acid in kidney of crucian carp (Carassius carassius))

  • Melamine is an organic base and a trimer of cyanamide which contains 66% nitrogen by mass, but it was sometimes illegally added to food products in order to enhance the apparent protein content for the bigger profit. Many Chinese infants and pet animals fed melamine-containing formulas suffered acute kidney failure with renal crystal formation. Fish feeds were also recently found to be contaminated with melamine. This experiment has been designed to determine whether renal crystals can be experimentally induced in crucian carp (Carassius carassius) fed melamine and cyanuric acid (each at 400 mg/kg/day for 3 days) in combination, and to compare experimentally induced crystals with those from pet animals with triazine related renal failure. The results showed that all fish developed gold brown renal crystals arranged in radial spherulites in the renal tubules, similar to those detected in the pet animals.

자연산 떡붕어(carassius cuvieri) 아가미 뚜껑 내부에 기생된 거머리의 감염 예 (The case report on the Leech, Trachelobdella sp. infestation in wild Crucian carp (Carassius cuvieri) of Chungnam Province in Korea)

  • A kind of leeches, Trachelobdella sp was detected on the inside surface of the opercle of wild crucian carp, Carassius cuvieri (21.5 cm in length and 238.5 g in weight) at a reservoir for agriculture in ChungNam Province of Korea in March, 2002. Two or three round transparent spots on the opercle could be easily detected. The fish also showed severe anemia and dorsally darking in the gill lamellae. The parasites was identified as Trachelobdella sp. on the basis of morphological characteristics such as suckers, body segmentation and lateral diverticula. As the parasites fed on host blood after attaching on the inside surface of the opercle by means of the posterior sucker, they caused severe anemia and petechial haemorrhge on the gill of infested fish. Heavy infestation of the parasite resulted in dath of fish because of large amount of blood loss.

붕어고음 잔사분말을 첨가한 쇠고기 Patty의 단백질 품질 평가 (Protein Nutritional Qualities of Beef Patties Added with Crucian Carp Extraction Residue)

  • The know the possibility in development of the low-fat beef patty models using crucian carp9 extraction residues (CCER, freeze dried powder : 5%, 10%, 15%), those protein nutritional quality, texture, color and sensory properties were investigated. About 13∼23% (on dry basis) of lipid in control was reduced in cooked beef patties with the higher addition ratios of CCER. In vitro protein digestibility was not changed in raw patties before cooking but 2∼4% higher digestibility was revealed in cooked patties. Computed protein efficiency ratio (C-PER) and discriminant computed protein efficiency ratio (DC-PER) of beef patties containing CCER were almost same as control. Lightness and red color value of both (raw and cooked) beef patties were decreased with the higher CCER addition ratios but brown color value of cooked samples were similar to control. Stronger hardness was noted in all beef patties containing CCER significantly (p<0.05). Consumer's acceptability were generally decreased by addition of CCER, but 10% level could be recommendable in beef patty processing.

  • Histopathological changes and cadmium accumulations in the gills were investigated in crucian carp(Carassius auratus) exposed to 0, 0.01, 0.1, 0.5mg/$\ell$ cadmium(Cd) concentrations for 25 days. After 25 days of exposure, cadmium accumulations increased in each of the different exposure concentrations.(omitted)
