  • The criteria for construction of D-optimal design in nonlinear models are derived. The procedures for finding these optimal designs using the simulated annealing algorithm are presented. It is claimed that the advantages of this method are its ability to make the given data useful by adding new observations as well as to obtain a new set of appropriate data when the model and parameters are known. Research so far indicates that there has never been a case in which there is more than one independent variable but this method can be used for such cases. The result indicates the effectiveness of the method using simulated annealing algorithm for situations in which there are many independent variables and the ranges of design spaces are wide.

  • In recent years, domestic e-learning market has made rapid progress in its quality and quantity with the astonishing rate growth of internet. Although educational Websites are replacing the traditional second level education market, many of those Websites' contents have poor or unknown quality. To build an effective educational Website, it is essential to have clear evaluation criteria. Therefore, this study aims to examine what evaluation factors influence the satisfaction level of educational Websites for elementary school students. In conclusion, implications are discussed along with limitations and future research direction.

  • The current Total Pollution Load Control (TPLC) sets the Target Water Quality (TWQ) by utilizing the delivery ratio, unit loads, and water quality modeling, it also allocates the watershed's permitted discharge load. Currently, common target pollutants of every unit watershed in TPLC are BOD and T-P. This study has reviewed the 1th and 2th of TWQ setting process for the Nakdong River 3th TWQ setting in Total Pollution Load Control (TPLC). As a result of review, 1th and 2th were divided into one management basin (mulgeum) for setting management goals. However, 3th was divided into six management basins (mulgeum, gnagjeong, geumho river, nam river, miryang river, end of nakdong river). The principle of management goal setting were to achieve the objective criteria of Medium Areas for the linkage of the water environment management policy. And Anti-Degredation (principle of preventing deterioration) were applied to the 3th TWQ. Also, additional indicators were considered in accordance with the reduction scenarios for the final management goals.

  • The characteristics of $I_{\lambda}$-optimality, one of the linear criteria suggested by Fedorov (1972) are investigated with respect to the D-and heteroscedastic G-optimality in case of non-constant variance function. Though having limited results obtained from simple models, we may conclude that $I_{\lambda}$-optimality is sometimes preferred to the heteroscedastic G-optimality suggested newly bv Wong and Cook (1992) in the sense that the experimenter's belief in weighting function exists in $I_{\lambda}$-optimality criterion, not to mention its computational simplicity.

  • The multiplicity of operating systems brings about a choice problem to the end-user and a multi-fold intensity to the competing developer. This study intends to provide guidelines solving the problems for both the end-user and the developers of operating systems. For the purpose, we adopt an appropriate evaluation model in terms of user-perceived quality through the applicable criteria and an evaluation method. Briefly, reliability and portability are key factors to contribute to the perceived duality. The empirical study also illustrates a comparative analysis on the dominant products. Microsoft Windows and Linux, in Korea.

  • A different kind of approximation has been developed in connection with calculation of the normal family distributions in digital computer. These approximations usually employ polynomial expressions. They give quite high accuracy, sometimes only within definite limits on the values of the variable. Outside these limits they may give quite poor approximations. In this paper we compare these approximations by criteria of C.P.U. time and accuracy using micro computer. Approximation formulas given by Zelen and Severo (1984) are proven to give the most accurate results within allowable C.P.U. time.

  • A mobile office environment using mobile devices, such as tablet PC, mobile phone is gradually increased in enterprises, banking and public institutions etc which is no limitation on places. It occurs advanced and persist security threats that are required effective security management policy and technical solution to be secure. For BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) environment, technical security management solutions of network control based, MDM (Mobile Device Management), MAM (Mobile Application Management), MCM (Mobile Contents Management) were released, evolved and mixed used. In perspective of integrated security management solution, mobile security product should be selected to consider user experience and environment and correct quality evaluation model of product is needed which is provided standards and guidance on the selection criteria when it was introduced. In this paper, the most widely used MDM solution is selected to take a look at its features and it was reviewed the product attributes with related international standard ISO/IEC25010 software quality attributes. And then it was derived evaluation elements and calculated the related metrics based on the quality analysis model. For the verification of quality evaluation model, security checks list and testing procedures were established; it applied metrics and analyzed the testing result through scenario based case study.

  • The Taiwan National Quality Award (TNQA) has been conducted for 14 years. However, small and medium-sized companies (SMSCs) rarely win the TNQA. This study undertakes a capability analysis to explore how SMSCs do win the TNQA. A survey instrument involving 149 questions extracted from 'the 2001 Handbook of Standard Criteria for Evaluation of TNQA' is used to measure the capability of SMSCs in competing for the TNQA. The paper concludes with a summary of the essential qualities required by an SMSC if it is to compete successfully for the TNQA.

  • The purposes of this study are to understand the doctors' attitude and satisfaction about the review system of national health insurance claim in Korea and to suggest the way to improve this system This study conducted a survey of the doctors registered in the medical association in Seoul city. The survey was performed as a form of self-administered questionnaire from January 2004 to February 2004. The contents of questionnaire dealt with doctors' attitude and satisfaction about the review system of medical service claim. Totally, 1,037 members replied to our survey and we analysed 981 doctors' data, excluding incomplete responses. As a result, 89.7% of repliers showed a negative attitude about the influences of the review system on improvement of medical service quality, 98.0% of repliers have had experiences that they have given distorted insufficient medical services in order to evade the curtailment of service claim. Also, 91.6% of repliers stated that they have had experiences of intentional modification or alteration of diagnostic code to shun the curtailment. Most of the doctors showed negative attitude to the curtailment procedure and the review system of service claim originally intended to be one of the quality control methods of medical service in Korea also, the development of both scientific and reasonable parameters and criteria for claim is needed. 'Through the improvement of review system for appropriate medical service, there is a need of a way to increase the satisfaction of medical service providers, and to encourage the motivation for quality control. Also, education is strongly needed to provide doctors with sufficient information about review criteria and curtailment cases.

  • The sophistication of technology information has led to a series of innovative activities in the economy, particularly in buying and selling products and services both conventionally and online. Currently online activities provide opportunities for customers to get the desired needs. The purpose of this research is to examine the effect of website quality, hedonic shopping motivation, and impulse buying on customers' satisfaction of online shopping in Indonesia. Eight online marketplaces are the focus of this research. This study uses a quantitative approach. This is a structural equation research with data obtained from 177 students through an online questionnaire using a five-point Likert scale; the selection criteria is having shopped online from various universities in Indonesia. The statistical testing tool used is SPSS 26.0, with the effect between variables determined using Partial Least Square (SmartPLS 3.0). The findings of this study indicate that the nine proposed hypotheses are accepted, positively and significantly, directly or indirectly, which are supported by previous research to reinforce the findings that have been found. The interesting attributes associated with this study are hedonic shopping motivation and impulse buying that mediate the relationship between website quality and customer satisfaction of online shopping in Indonesia's marketplace.
