  • Mass killing and injuring by purpose, the countries that is hurrying countermeasure preparation of investigators who enforce that necessity to compare to intimidation of doing creature weapon is common concerns of the several countries including advanced nation such as the United States of America. Development and use of biological weapon have increased too recently to private citizens unlike development of military purpose in country dimension. The latest WHO is preparing proposal of standard stroke model who each department solidifies preparedness for chemical biological and electronic weapon revising report about biological weapon. But in case of korea, confrontation plan that bamboo broom about possibility of attack to the common people and attack comparing actual state in case of attained nothing but is readying remedy about biological warfare partially in military dimension was not readied. The purpose of this article is a study on threat of bio-weapons and the countermeasure.

  • Since a snake achieves various movements just by a slender body, the mechanism of it is very amazing Many researches have been focusing on a snake like robot and have done for it on the ground. However the meander motion of the snake not only can be done by ground creatures, but also can be done by a water creature such as a sea snake or an eel. Therefore, the purpose of our research is to develop an autonomous underwater robot like the sea snake. As an approach to this goal, we develop an experimental sea snake-like-robot for examining basic characteristics, including propulsion, a turning and other performance. Our developed robot is composed of the head and 4 bodies. Each body equips one servomotor, which is operated with pulse signal. In the head unit, 1- chip-microcomputer, which generates the servomotor control signal for realizing a snake motion and the battery, is equipped. Our robot is covered with a rubber film for the waterproof. Using our developed robot, characteristics of the snake-like-robot moved in water are examined.

  • The international arbitration system has been a useful method of settling disputes arising from international transactions. Arbitration provides the opportunity for the parties to choose a fair and neutral forum and to participate in the selection of the decision maker and the rules that will be applied. Because arbitration is a creature of contract, there is no agreement to arbitrate if there is no contract. An arbitration clause should be designed to fit the circumstances of the transaction and the parties' needs. The parties draft an arbitration clause with insufficient attention to the transaction to which it relates. Insufficient attention to arbitration agreement has caused the delay of arbitration procedure or even the inability to arbitrate. Therefore the parties pay sufficient attention to the underlying transaction so that the arbitration clause can be tailored to their particular requirements and to possible disputes that may reasonably be anticipated.

  • Fish schools behave like a single organism and offer a considerable survival advantage. In our simulations, the fish school is well organized and behaves like a single creature depending solely on the interactions among individuals without having any director fish. This kind of system can be said as the typical one of "Complex Systems". We make clear the validity of fractal analyses to evaluate fish school movements through evaluation of both the simulated movements and the real sardine movements taken by video tape. The analyses showed that we need two kinds of fractal dimensions (D$_1$, D$_2$) to fit to the observations; the one(D$_1$) corresponds to smaller coarsening levels and D$_2$ does to larger coarsening levels. The double linear analyses in ...

  • In this study, we propose a marine character prototype study for development of a marine character as digital contents. This study is a precedent study to build a marine character database with the production of digital contents based on "Jasan-urbo". "Jasan-urbo" is a representative cultural heritage that can highlight the value of Korean marine culture as the first illustrated book of marine creatures in Korea. Therefore, we examined the use value of "Jasan-urbo" through the content approach and looked at the visualization for character utilization and then designed a marine fish species classification standard model. Finally, this study proposed the possibility of discovering prototype sources for digitalization of Korean marine creature's resources.

  • Arbitration is a creature of contract. The parties agree that selective dispute resolution clause provides them with a choice to litigate or arbitrate certain disputes. Under the agreements, the parties had the option in the action. In the event any dispute arises between the parties concerning our representation or payment of our fees and disbursements which cannot be promptly resolved to our mutual satisfaction, you agree that dispute will be submitted to arbitration. Arbitration is a matter of contract and a party cannot be required to submit to arbitration any dispute which he has not agreed so to submit. The selective arbitrations clauses are to be construed as broadly as possible, and arbitration will be compelled unless it may be said with positive assurance that arbitration clause is not susceptible of an interpretation that covers the asserted dispute.

  • The waste land can be changed to the land that creature can survive by the greening. The studies on the rooftop greening have increased rapidly in number since these studies have made a positive effect on the improvement of the urban ecosystem and the lacking greens environment of the city. However, the majority of research are for rooftop greening system of the public and commercial building. Therefore, the development of easily available rooftop greening system for private residences is required.

  • The purpose of this study is to suggest a model of planning of urban on focused Seonhwan-up in Chongan-city. The subject matter of this paper is urban design of small town which has factors of ecological conditions in rural area. We can check ecological design factors of this city through green and water space, first of all. If they are produced by biotope network, this city in the nature is to create eco-city which has symbiosis between human and a creature.

  • In this paper, the mechanism that works by using eight legs is proposed. The walker has eleven bars instead of wheel, it shows a Biologically-inspired movement method. their driving appearance is very similar with creature which walks by its legs. For example, a crab and spider so on. This mechanism has simple style that can expand its size and attach more legs beside. For the competition regulation, we had to find working parts in the science box and some other things that can be found easily in the surroundings only usual material. The mission is making a machine that is enable to pass obstacle and to walk well. This paper followed the rules by regulation.

  • Over 3.8 billion years, through evolution nature came up with many effective continually improving solutions to its challenges. Humans have always been inspired by nature capabilities in problems solving and innovation. These efforts have been intensified in recent years where systematic studies are being made towards better understanding and applying more sophisticated capabilities in this field that is increasingly being titled biomimetics. The ultimate challenge to this field is the development of humanlike robots that talk, interpret speech, walk, as well as make eye-contact and facial expressions with some capabilities that are exceeding the original model from nature. This includes flight where there is no creature that is as large, can fly as high, carry so heavy weight, fly so fast, and able to operate in extreme conditions as the aircraft and other aerospace systems. However, there are many capabilities of biological systems that are not feasible to mimic using the available technology. In this paper, the state-of-the-art of some of the developed biomimetic capabilities, potentials and challenges will be reviewed.
