음악 활동을 통한 유아 창의·인성교육 프로그램의 개발 및 효과 (A Study on Early Childhood Creativity and the Development of a Personality Education Program for Preschoolers Through Music Activities)

  • Objective: The purpose of this study was to develop an education program using music activities for promoting young children's creativity and personality and to analyze the impact of this program on the creativity and personality of young children in child care classrooms. Methods: The study consisted of how the creativity and personality education program using music activities for young children was developed and the impact of the program on 5-year-old children's creativity and personality. The experimental treatment was conducted on a total of 16 occasions for eight weeks. The data were collected through the preschooler Creativity test(K·CCTYC) and The Empathy Index for Children and Adolescents (IECA) and Skill Situation Measures were used to analyze the effects of experimental treatment with paired t-test. Results: First, the program had positive effects on fluency, flexibility, originality and imagination of creativity. Second, the program had positive effects on empathy ability and prosociality. Conclusion/Implications: The effectiveness of the creativity and personality education programs using music activities for promoting young children's creativity and personality and the ways to promote young children's creativity and personality in early childhood educations institutes were discussed.

How can we Develop Students' Creativity? : Redesigning a Creativity Program based on Flow Theory

  • To produce highly creative students, engineering education must develop both problem recognition skills and the ability to solve problems independently. Chonnam National University has been developing a creativity program in which students identify and solve problems themselves. Initially, the primary focus was on solving problems, but this was unsuccessful at attracting the students' interest. To overcome this, we adopted Csikszentmihalyi's flow theory in our creativity program, much like the way this theory is used in computer games. As a result of adopting flow theory, we achieved our goal. Thus, in this paper, we will introduce Chonnam National University's creativity program (designed based on flow theory), which we will call the Self-Directed Creativity-Upgrade Program. Furthermore, we will discuss the impact of this program based on statistical analyses.

창의성 계발 과학교육을 위한 한국 - 이스라엘 과학교사 연수프로그램의 효율성 (What Makes Korea-Israel Science Teachers Inservice Program for Fostering Learners' Creativity Effective?)

  • 본 연구는 창의성 계발 과학교육을 위한 한국-이스라엘 과학교사 연수 프로그램의 효율성을 분석한 구체적 결과를 근거로 향후 보다 효율성이 높은 연수 프로그램의 개선 방향을 제안하는 데 목적을 두고 연수에 참여한 교사들을 대상으로 사전 사후 설문조사를 실시하였다. 연구결과에 따라, 연수개선 방향을 제시하면 첫째, 연수에 참여한 교사들의 창의성 계발 과학교육의 필요성에 대한 인식, 교육 현황에 대한 이해, 및 저해요인 등에 대한 이해수준의 분석을 통해 연수 프로그램의 내용을 선정하고 수업방법 등에 대한 계획을 수립해야 할 것이다. 둘째, 교사들의 창의성에 대한 이해수준을 심화시킬 수 있는 내용을 확대 포함시켜야 할 것이다. 셋째, 연수시 창의성 계발 교수방법이 모범적으로 적용되고 있는 수업관찰 및 분석을 위한 내용이 충분히 포함되어야 할 것이다. 넷째, 이스라엘의 문화와 교육체제에 관련된 내용은 축소하여야 할 것이다.

동화와 관련된 확장활동이 유아의 언어 창의성에 미치는 영향 (The effect of the extensive program using the storytelling on young children's linguistic creativity)

  • The purpose of the study was to explore the effect of the extensive program using the story telling on young children's linguistic creativity. 20 five-year-olds and 18 four-year-olds from a day care center were selected for this study. After performing pre-test, they were divided into control and experimental group. Children's linguistic creativity was measured using 'Imagining Red' of 'Korean Comprehensive Creativity Test for Young Children' standardized by Chun(2000). 6 books were selected for the extensive program for the promotion of children's linguistic creativity was carried out to experimental group for three weeks. After three weeks, post-test was performed on experimental and control group. The results indicate that the extensive program using the storytelling had an effect on promoting young children's linguistic creativity including the sub-elements such as fluency, flexibility, and originality. As the results of experiencing the extensive program related to storytelling, the linguistic creativity of 5 year olds improved more than that of 4 year aids and that of girls improved more than that of boys. For the developing children's linguistic creativity, various extensive activities need to be programmed.

A Modularized Approach to the Development of the Creativity Learning Program

  • Art education in design has repeatedly stressed the importance of developing creativity. In the digital period, however, which shows rapid change in both forms and contents, it needs to be equipped with more flexible and systematic ways of approaching to the creativity development, especially involved with cultural diversity of the digital world. This paper primarily proposes a maximally efficient, productive creativity learning program in which the integration of expressive media and communication generates a comprehensive network of communicative information in the development of digital technologies, which, consequently, brings forth valuable cultural contents of art. The amalgamation of Won (2006)'s Prism Effect, with distinctive three devices, and the facilitator factors, with two different facilitators such as self-controlled and controlled plays, would function as a catalyst for cultural diversity in the digital forms and contents of art. And this will, consequently, result in producing a number of practices that can be classified and assorted for a later performance. This paper thus suggests a roadmap of how to develop the creativity learning program in which two categories of facilitators based on three thinking devices function to classify four activities. In addition, selected activities are shaped as a creativity learning program by generating learning practices with the formalizing instructional strategy that fit into a specialized educational environment and learners. The samples of loaming practice design show guidelines for practice and the results of learning activity. Therefore, the eventual goal of this paper would be to establish a creativity learning program that constitutes a highly systematized and modularized database to maximize the efficiency and productivity of the creativity development.

창의성 교육 프로그램이 공학계열 대학생들의 창의적 자기효능감에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Effect of Creativity Education Program on Creative Self-Efficacy of Engineering College Students)

  • The effects and factors of the creativity education program on the creative self-efficacy of engineering college students were analyzed. As a result of the analysis, the creative self-efficacy of students who took the creativity education program was improved, and the effect was statistically significant. The learning contents factors affecting the improvement of creative self-efficacy was 'creativity development attribute and creative attitude' and the learning activity factor was 'taking theoretical lectures' about creativity.

유아의 창의성 증진을 위한 예비유아교사교육 프로그램의 단기종단효과 (The Short-term Longitudinal Effect of Pre-service Teacher Education Program for Children's Creativity)

  • 본 연구는 실험연구로서 유아의 창의성 증진을 위한 예비유아교사교육 프로그램의 단기종단적 효과를 검증해보기 위해 수행되었다. 본 연구에는 실험집단 36명과 통제집단 31명, 총 67명의 예비유아교사와 실험집단의 유아 65명, 통제집단의 유아 61명의 자료가 최종 분석에 포함되었다. 예비유아교사 및 유아의 창의성을 측정하기 위해 TTCT를 사용하였다. 본 프로그램이 예비유아교사의 창의성 변화에 미치는 영향을 알아보기 위해 평균, 표준편차, 잠재성장모형을 적용하였고, 본 프로그램 참여 여부와 교사의 창의성이 유아의 창의성에 미치는 영향을 알아보기 위해 다중회귀분석을 실시하였다. 첫째, 예비유아교사의 창의성 변화를 알아보기 위해 잠재성장모형을 확인한 결과, 프로그램 참여가 예비유아교사의 창의성 변화에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 본 프로그램 참여여부 및 교사의 창의성은 유아의 창의성에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.

e-PBL을 활용한 과학 독서 논술 프로그램이 초등과학영재의 창의성 및 과학적 태도에 미치는 효과 (The effect of e-PBL based Scientific Writing Program for the Science Gifted Children on Creativity and Scientific Attitude)

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of the science gifted children's creativity and scientific attitude development by e-PBL based scientific writing program. This program is composed of 4 instructions (13 hours), and its learning contents are made up to guide reading the related science books and understanding the contents through mind map to find out a solution by themselves, also, making an independent problem into group issue and setting up the plan for solution through small group cooperative learning, finally, performing activities like writing, presentation, evaluation and discussion according to the plan for solution. To examine the effect of creativity and scientific attitude by the program, 40 students of elementary science gifted children group in the Busan national university of education were selected for an experimental group. The review result is that, Firstly, the program affected positively creativity improvement of elementary science gifted children, Secondly, the program affects positively scientific attitude improvement of them as well. In conclusion, the program affects positively their creativity and scientific attitude.

창의적 사고에 기반한 패션디자인 창의융합교육 프로그램이 창의성 향상에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of a Creative Thinking-Based Fashion Design Creative Convergence Education Program on Creativity Improvement)

  • The purpose of this study is to propose a fashion design creativity convergence education program based on creative thinking that can be effectively used to create a creative fashion design in the fashion education field, and to verify the suitability of this program and its effectiveness in improving creativity. To this end, a fashion design creative convergence program combining divergent thinking and convergence thinking was designed, and an experimental study was conducted among college students in the fashion design department. Creativity evaluation was conducted by evaluating students' creative ability and creativity of fashion design results. In addition, an open survey was conducted to collect learners' opinions on the suitability of the program and the convergence process of divergent and convergent thinking. As a result of this study, it was found that the fashion design creative convergence education program based on creative thinking improves the creative competency of major learners of fashion design and is the learning performance competency in the process of producing creative results. This study is meaningful as it is a basic study that proposes a fashion design education program to foster the creative competency of fashion design majors, and is expected to be used in various ways in the educational field.

SRD Program을 통한 창의성 신장 프로그램 모형 개발 (Development of Program Model for Enhancing Creativity through SRD Program)

  • 최근 대부분의 국가에서는 창의성 신장을 위한 경쟁력 있는 인재를 길러내기 위해 많은 노력을 기울이고 있다. 우리나라에서도 최근 개정된 2009 교육과정에서 '글로벌 창의인'을 학교교육이 추구하는 인간상으로 설정하여 미래를 대비하기 위한 교육을 추구하고 있다. 이에 창의성을 신장하기 위해 각 대학과 연구기관에서는 창의성을 신장시킬 수 있는 다양한 교육모형을 제시하고 있다. 창의성을 신장에 효과적인 교육적인 모형중 하나가 컴퓨터교육 분야이다. 특히 프로그래밍 교육은 창의성 교육에 효과적이라고 알려져 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 SRD 프로그램 개발을 통하여 창의성 신장을 위한 프로그램을 제시하였다. SRD 프로그램은 스크래치 프로그래밍-로봇 프로그래밍-디지털 키트를 적용하여 창의성을 신장하고자 하는 교육모형이며, 브루너의 나선형 교육과정을 기반으로 개발되었다. 또한 창의성 신장을 위한 다양한 프로그램들이 증가하기를 제안하고 SRD 프로그램을 통하여 '글로벌 창의인'을 길러내는데 이바지하기를 기대한다.
