This paper is to estimate the economic effect of benefits of the R&D and recreational fishing as well as input-output analysis in the Tae-an Trial Sea Farm Project(TTSFP). We use B/C model to indicate the effects of economic valuation. B/C analyses model consists of Benefit Cost Ratio(BCR), Net Present Value(NPV) and Internal Ration of Return(IRR). Using 5.5% discounting rates and the survey data, the sub-models show economically feasible in the all of analysis and analyzed the results as follows. NPV is 42,147 million won, BCR is 3.29 and IRR is 34.30%. This study attempts to apply input-output(I-O) analysis in connecting the economic effect of TTSFP. I-O model was constructed, focusing on three effects; the production-inducing effect, the value-added-inducing effect and employment-inducing effect. There are positive effects on economic value and job creation in Tae-an and Nation.

Knowledge can be characterized in many ways. We have categorized internal and external knowledge by its position, tacit and explicit knowledge by the degree of formalization, and general and innovative knowledge by the power of competitive advantage. There has been an increasing preference for product with cultural value as people have a growing cultural sensitivity and greater demand for cultural value in current global market. In response to that, countries need to develop cultural products which represent their distinctive cultures and traditions, and such efforts may aim to promote the creation of economically high value-added and enhance the cultural image. In this paper, first, we analyze the correlation between Culture, cultural industry and Cultural goods. In this context, my efforts centered initially on a thorough analysis on the current situation and environmental problems that Korean culture faces presently, and then, processed and organized them into major industry categories of character industry, through a statistical methodology, to estimate its market volume by industry and to analyze the inter-relationship and macro-economic pervasive effects among related industries as well as cultural window effects. This paper could lead to final practical solution and suggestions for optimum policy measures to be taken for a supreme cultural industry for Korea.

The purpose of this study lies in pursuing the unique plastic arts with the orchid motif which has the graceful colors and a variety of shapes beauty. Another aspect of this study intends to crease the modern costume design with the high added value by expressing the texture according to the material and tissue development for the continual improvement and promotion of the modern costume design in the handicraft art area. The results through the theoretical survey and the work production are as follows : First, the orchid which has the various shapes and colors provides the designers with the unique plastic arts and the possibilities for the unlimited expressions as the design motives. Second, we can see the creation of cubic plastic beauty in the moving line, as the material which has the flexible and brilliant shape fixation, used for expressing the shape beauty of the orchid. Third, this study reveals the extension of expression areas as a characteristic of the plastic arcs by applying handicraft techniques such as dyeing, corded tuck, flounce, crochet, weaving, beads embroidery, and art flower to the costumes for developing the unique material and texture. Finally, the possibility is suggested that the desires of the moderns searching for their own individualities can be met by creating the costumes with the added vague as the exposure of esthetic consciousness through the handicraft expression techniques.

The study intended to develop KORMARC for archives in order to integrate archives with library materials. The results of the study can be summarized as follows; (1) 2 areas for conservation and physical description are added to the existing 7 areas of ISAD(G)2. The study has also proved that the existing 26 elements of ISAD(G)2 are not fully enough to satisfy the information demands' of institutions and its users as well. (2) For the use of domestic archives in particular, the study has added the description elements of archives that appeared in the Government Regulations of Office Management and those forms of documents that are specified by law for the sake of computerization. The study has added the possible release and grade, release dates, release range, conservation periods, conservation periods, conservation value, the status description of archives elements that are specified in Public Record Management Law. (3) The study has developed the following data fields to be added into KORMARC. 512 creation dates note, 555 finding aids note, 583 action note and 584 accumulation note. Also it reorganizes and adds the indicators of the 245 title statement, 300 physical description 306 playing time, 506 restriction on access note, 534 original version note, 535 location of originals/duplicates note, 540 terms governing use and reproduction notes, 541 immediate source of acquisition note, 545 biographical or historical note, 581 publication note, 850 holding institution data fields.

With such basic conceptions in mind. this study was aimed at reviewing the unique formative aesthetics of scarves for creation of modern apparel design. To this end, the drapeability of the rhythmically wrinkled fabric of scarf as well as its tying and enclosing representation were introduced into the apparel details and silhouette to create an apparel design flattering the moderns unique sense of aesthetics and emotion. In the same vein. threads were superimposed on the planar fabric to express a sense of volume and thereby, pursue a unique decorative effect of rich texture. Specifically. the objectives of this study are to highlight the practical use of scarf warming and its decorative formative aesthetics and thereby, apply it to apparel designs and develop an art fabric using the machine embroidery technique. and ultimately, suggest the possibility of unique but highly value-added apparel designs.

This study aims to analyze how much KF-X production impacts on national economy by measuring economic spread effect based on inter-industry analysis. In order to evaluate the economic impact of KF-X production, we used input-output table of year 2007 of Korea. The results shows that KF-X production induces the production of 3,129 billon won and the value added of 1,206 billon won respectively. Also there are the creation of about 13,208 employment in the industry. The results from this study can be used as a basis for the further research on whether or not KF-X production could be processed.

Entering the 1990s, Korean economies experienced the high-cost and low-efficiency situation which evetually caused many Korean firms led to relocate their production facilities to lower labor cost countries. This paper aims to draw out the characteristics of FDI and to evaluate the impacts of FDI in manufacturing sectors. Firstly, we try to categorize the indutries into three groups, labor intensive, capital intensive, and the technology intensive industries figuring out the characteristics of FDI of Korean firms. Secondly, we compare the three categories by grouping high and low foreign investment areas using value added data. Thirdly, we analyse the impacts of foreign production relocation the number of firms, production volume and jobs creation in Korea during the period 1991-1996. This paper concludes that the FDI of Korean firms concentrates to labor intensive industry and the hollowing effect caused by FDI was observed partially in the labor intensive industry.
