  • This paper points out that the existing digital story creation tools are biased in the field of entertainment storytelling, so it proposes a specialized tool for non-fiction creation. This paper selects Quantifying Theory to design this tool. When creating nonfiction storyline, it is important to have the appropriate combination between the actual events and fictional elements. A Gossip System, based on Quantifying Theory, is suitable for that work. Before designing a Gossip System as a nonfiction creation tool, this analysis evaluated that the Gossip System in and . As a result, the linked structure in is useful in searching for material for non-fiction creation, and the separated structure in is ideal for arranging dramatic events. This paper proposed a method of switching the fact to fiction through a combination of this two Gossip System structure. I conclude that this is the best method for non-fiction creation tool.

  • This paper proposes an arts and culture content creation tool powered by artificial intelligence. With the recent advances in technologies including artificial intelligence, there are active research activities on creating art and culture contents. However, it is still difficult and cumbersome for those who are not familiar with programming and artificial intelligence. In order to deal with the content creation with new technologies, we analyze related creation tools, services and technologies that process with raw visual and audio data, generate new media contents and visualize intermediate results. We then extract key requirements for a future creation tool for creators who are not familiar with programming and artificial intelligence. We finally introduce an intuitive and integrated content creation tool for end-users. We hope that this tool will allow creators to intuitively and creatively generate new media arts and culture contents based on not only understanding given data but also adopting new technologies.

  • It would be investigated how to take advantage of and structure color as form creation of modern architecture and tool of conception. Through this study, it was analyzed that color was introduced actively in the beginning stage of form creation as an image, as collection of data and analysis system, and as creation system of diagram. Also, it was used from the model making stage with experimental device, and was handling to experimental system of various materials and substances. Therefore, with the characteristics of color's originality, color was dealt to space creation system by tool from the process-oriented thought and had given the absolute value in form creation process. Meaning is that the color to be used as a tool in the planning contains a lot of possibilities and values in the architecture planning. Therefore the development of the system without initial planning of overall color scheme could affect the harmony and integration of the developed architecture. And the system could loose many vital concepts in the creation of the form. In execution of thinking process through the color, it'll be ensured that we can acquire the much better and more various result.

A Tool for Analyzing VM Creation Failure caused by Virtual Disk Faults (가상 디스크 결함에 의한 가상 머신 생성 실패 진단 및 분석 도구)

  • In this paper, we present a tool (named VMBootFailMonitor) to detect and analyze a failure of a VM boot creation caused by faults on virtual disks of a Xen-based VM. Also, we presents an architecture and detail analysis process of the virtual disk faults in our tool. Especially, VMBootFailMonitor provides a causual analysis result for a case of VM creation failure based on three modules which performs virtual disk analysis, virtualized system analysis and system log analysis. We also support a comparison result between boot times of normal VMs and fault detection times of VM creation based on abnormal virtual disks. At result, our tool detects VM boot failures (3~6 seconds) within normal VM boot times (8~16 seconds).

  • This paper presents the role and its function of Tool server. MPEG-21 means multimedia framework for delivery and consumption of multimedia which is being discussed in ISO/IEC 21000. A view of MPEC-21 aims to define multimedia framework to enable transparent use of multimedia resource across a wide range of networks and devices used by different communities. MPEG-21 will enable all-electronic creation delivery and trade of digital multimedia content and transparent usage of various content types on network device. Therefore, we can provide access to information and services from almost anywhere at anytime with various terminals and networks. In order to support multimedia delivery chain that contains content creation, production, delivery and consumption, we need many standards(elements) for identify, describe, manage and protect the content. Thus, we define Digital Item Player(DIP), Digital Item Adaptation(DIA) server and Tool server as primary objects of MPEG-21 multimedia framework. DIP provides a function which creates and consumes Digital Item(DI) as a kind of a digital object by user. A DI contains both media resources and metadata including rights information. DIA server deals with the usage environment description schema of the user characteristics, terminal and network characteristics and natural environments. DIA server adapts the original DI to the usage environment description sent from the terminal and transmits the adapted DI to the terminal. Tool server searches for a tool requested from DIP or DIA and downloads the best tool to DIP or DIA server. In this paper, we present how Tool sewer is organized and is used among 2 primary objects. The paper is structured as followings: Section 1 briefly describes why MPEG-21 is needed and what MPEG-21 wants. We see requirement that tool server must equip functionally in section 2. The proposed tool server,its structure and its functionality are presented in section 3. Section 4 explains a scenario that tool server transmits tool to DIP and shows the experimental result. The paper concludes in section 5.

  • To enhance the educational effect of Multi-Joint Robot have to easily develop motion through the control software. The traditional way of development technique for multi-joint robot is educated with very complicated implementation, but our motion creation tool can be possible to do the creative activity for controling robot movements with ease. This paper mentions to develop the motion creation tool for easily and quickly programming the motion control of multi-joint robot on the educational program. With this tool we easily and exactly provide the education of robot program. In this paper, our suggested tool could not only evade the traditional way of a complicated control program using programming languages but also control easier the robot than the GUI(Graphic User Interface) programming centered on the user's convenience. Additionally, the robot motion's implementation is possible applied with microprocessor experimental equipment educationally to practical use.

  • Post-Genome 시대의 Biotechnology(BT) 산업에 세계적으로 관심과 투자가 증가하고 있다. BT 산업은 기술 및 지식 집약적 특성상 R&D 활동이 중요하기에 BT 연구실의 실험 생산성 증가에 대한 연구가 필요하다. 이와 관련하여 연구실 지식경영과 지식경영시스템활용에 관한 연구가 활발히 진행되고 있다. 하지만 그 초점이 연구 지식들의 조직화, 체계화 및 검색기능 등의 원활한 지식 공급 시스템 구축에 있기에 효율적이고 효과적인 지식 생성 방안을 제시해 주지 못하고 있다. 이에 본 연구는 실험실 내 데이터 처리 및 통합 관리 역할을 해온 LIMS(Laboratory Information Management System)를 활용하여 실험 데이터들로부터 실험 디자인을 위한 효율적이고 효과적인 형식지(Explicit Knowledge)의 생성을 목적으로 하는 지식 생성 툴(Knowledge Creation Tool)을 설계하였다. 또한 상기 모델을 적용하여 실제 어떠한 형태로 지식이 생성되는지 A대학교 B유전자 연구실의 실험 데이터로 실증 분석해 보았다.

A Motion Editing System for Handling Autonomous Creation of Character Animation

  • A motion handling technique that transforms existing animation motion data to a mathematically well-defined form. The transformed data can be utilized in any kind of autonomous motion creation process that handles such cases as changed environment, structure (kinematic / dynamic) modification, or changed constraints. To overcome the computational burden of traditional spacetime optimization, we divide full motion data frame into several parts, and we applied the transformation technique to each part using an optimizing tool(CFSQP). To show Ire feasibility of the proposed method, a comparison study results with traditional technique is included.

  • The companies have employed SNS for marketing, promotion, and customer relationship management. The SNS is a good tool to collect customers' opinions and to collaborate with internal and external employees, however, the function of SNS are limited in implementing a co-creation. Therefore, the purpose of this research is to suggest a SNS platform for co-creation that creates a corporate's values with customers. For this purpose, the limitations of SNS are defined and the new platform of the SNS is suggested. The proposed platform has 3 modules including integration of applications, cloud services, and integration to applications operated by companies. With a scenario method the suggested platform was validated. This is one of pioneer studies in co-creation.
