Landing ship tank with well dock has the important mission transferring troops or landing equipments from sea to shore. Such transfers are usually carried out using landing crafts, which are loaded or unloaded in flooded well dock. In this situation, as relative motions are occur between well dock and landing craft, safety verifications are demanded. In this paper, seakeeping and safety performances are investigated through model test. First of all, well dock dimensions are reviewed and model tests are performed with sea state 3&4 in 180degree wave direction. Model tests are conducted for three relative positions and seakeeping performances are investigated each position.

Highly chemo- and regioselective reaction of hydroxybenzenes with ${\alpha},{\beta}$-unsaturated compounds in acidic ionic liquid l-butyl-3-methylimidazolium hydrogen sulphate ([BMIM]HSO4) was reported for the first time. A series of oxa-Michael adducts and Friedel-Crafts alkylated products were synthesized with good yields. The acidic ionic liquid could be easily recycled for at least 5 times with only minor loss in activity.

This study is to achieve the slow-city planning based on resources in Cheongsong-gun. To this end, the natural landscape and old houses of the village set up potential of the core, and three complementary elements were traditional food and traditional crafts, nature trails. The vision and objectives were established, characterization plan by spacial areas was considered. The actionable items of the project by divisions such as; conservation and utilization of natural resources, old house villages, traditional crafts, traditional foods, landscape composition, social awareness training, to attract visitors, slow-city environmental policy, were proposed. And step-by-step implementation plan was proposed, Division of roles between public authorities and residents of the implementation process was considered.

Wood carving has been extremely widely practiced, but survives much less well than the other main materials, being vulnerable to decay, insect damage, and fire. It therefore forms an important hidden element in the art history of many cultures. Even though wood is less durable than either steel or stone, it has been used for a long time due to its usefulness. Wood has a lot of benefits. So people have used wood for materials in houses, trains, cars, bridges, and simple utilities in their ways according to their own religions, climates, and environment they are living in. Nowadays, there are wood products that are made up for its weaknesses and this has made wood be used in variety fields. Moreover, wood has been widely selected materials for sculptures, interior, and also for architecture thanks to its colors and textures. Wood has helped our life more abundant and beautiful.

Because of the social and political reasons, Chinese design higher education has come a long and difficult road. Before and after the Reform and Opening-up, Chinese design higher education system has gone through two different models: "Arts and Crafts" and "Arts & Design". By comparing external environment and Education Concept of two models, this paper points out that the correct direction of design higher education reform is to understand and learn the advantages of two education systems.
