결혼초기 남면과 아내가 인지한 갈등대처방식의 상호작용패턴이 결혼만족도에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Couple's Interaction Pattern of the Conflict-Coping Method as Perceived by the Husband and Wife on the Marital Satisfaction in the Early Stage of Marital Life)

  • The purposes of this study were firstly to investigate how the conflict-coping methods of husbands and wives relate to their cognition of their own conflict-coping methods and those of their spouse and secondly to investigate how the interaction patterns of the conflict-coping methods between husbands and wives affect their marital satisfaction in the early stage of marital life. The main findings of this study were as follows: Firstly, this study indicated that both husbands and wives recognized that they themselves use the more reasonable conflict-coping method than their spouse. Both thought that husbands use the more avoidant, conflict-coping method than wives. Secondly, the study showed that both husbands and wives are tend to use the same conflict-coping method as their spouse's conflict-coping method as perceived by them. All the conflict-coping methods of husbands were related to their perception of their wives' conflict-coping methods. In the can of wives, however, there was no significant correlation between their aggressive conflict-coping method and the husbands' avoidant conflict-coping method, or between their avoidant conflict-coping method and the husbands' reasonable conflict-coping method. These results indicated a gender-difference in the conflict-coping methods between husbands and wives. Thirdly, the study showed that when husbands and wives regarded the interaction pattern of the conflict-coping method between themselves and their spouse as the reasonable$\ast$reasonable pattern, both of them had the highest marital satisfaction. When husbands regarded the interaction pattern of the conflict-coping method as the aggressive$\ast$aggressive pattern, they had the lowest marital satisfaction. On the other hand, when wives regarded the interaction pattern of the conflict-coping method as the aggressive$\ast$avoidant pattern, they had the lowest marital satisfaction.

국제결혼한 한국남성의 정신건강과 결혼행복에 대한 연구 -부부갈등과 의사소통의 매개효과를 중심으로- (A Study on Mental Health and Marital Happiness of Intermarried Korean Men -Mediating Effects on Marital Conflict and Communication)

  • This study uncovers the relationships between mental health, couple relationships and marital happiness. The sample included 180 inter-married Korean men. The data were analyzed by means of frequency, Pearson correlation and multiple regression analysis using the SPSS. Mental health is positively correlated with marital conflict, but is negatively correlated with efficient communication and marital happiness. Furthermore, marital conflict is negatively correlated with communication and marital happiness. Second, mental health has a positive influence on marital conflict and a negative influence on marital happiness. Depression and social mal-adaptation have a negative effect on communication and marital happiness. Marital conflict does not have a mediating effect on mental health and marital happiness. Third, depression and social mal-adaptation have a negative influence on communication and marital happiness. Communication has a mediating effect on mental health and marital happiness. In conclusion, to reduce marital conflict, it is important to intervene in inter-married Korean men's marital happiness through special education programs and counseling.

맞벌이 부부의 성역할태도와 다중역할 경험이 결혼만족도에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Dual-Earner Couple's Gender Role Attitude and Work-family Experience on Marrital Satisfaction)

  • 본 연구는 맞벌이 부부의 결혼만족에 대한 이해를 위해 부부 각각의 성역할 태도, 다중역할 수행에서의 갈등과 향상의 경험이 자신과 배우자에게 미치는 상호영향을 살펴보았다. 이를 위해 맞벌이 부부 95쌍, 총 190명을 대상으로 하여 대응표본 t검증과 중다회귀분석을 실시하였다. 먼저 맞벌이 부부의 성역할태도, 다중역할 경험 및 결혼만족도에 있어 부부 간 차이를 살펴본 결과, 성역할태도 및 다중역할 경험에 있어 부부 간의 유의한 차이는 없었으며, 결혼만족도에 있어 남편이 아내보다 유의하게 만족하는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 맞벌이 부부의 결혼만족도에 영향을 미치는 요인에 대한 상호영향을 살펴본 결과, 부부 간의 결혼만족도에 영향을 주는 변인에서 유의한 차이가 발견되었다. 남편의 경우 자신의 성역할태도, 자신의 다중역할 향상이 결혼생활의 만족도에 정적으로 유의한 영향을 주는 반면, 아내의 경우는 남편의 성역할태도가 결혼생활 만족에 있어 정적으로 영향을 미치며 아내 자신의 다중역할 갈등이 결혼생활의 만족도에 부적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이는 맞벌이 부부의 결혼만족에 관한 교육 및 프로그램에 있어 남편과 아내 각각의 영향과 상호간의 영향에 대한 고려가 필요함을 시사한다.

다문화부부의 성격특성과 갈등대처방식의 상호작용이 부부적응에 미치는 효과 (Influences of Personality Patterns on Marital Adjustment by Interacting with Conflict Resolution Styles)

  • This study seeks to determine how personality patterns on marital adjustment are influenced by interacting with conflict resolution styles. Data for this study were collected from intermarriage couples comprising 293 pairs (586 patients) who lived in Korea for at least 5years. Snowball sampling was carried out from August to October 2011. SPSS 18.0 was used to analyze the collected data. The results of this study are as follows: (a) The conscientiousness and openness of personality patterns turned out to be common personality factors that represent a positive affect on the intermarried couples' effort to adapt. (b) The extroversions, agreeableness, and neuroticism shown significantly increase and decrease the intermarried husband's marital adjustment, but the same did not have a significant influence on the intermarried wife's marital adjustment. (c) Factors that affect marital adjustment, the conflict resolution styles of intermarriage couples showed different results depending on the gender. (d) The Intermarried wife's personality patterns represented a positive affect on her marital adjustment by interacting with her husband's conflict resolution styles, while the intermarried husband's personality patterns represented a positive affect on his marital adjustment by interacting with his wife's conflict resolution styles. The implications of this study will be discussed in the conclusion.

유자녀 맞벌이 남녀의 일-가족 갈등인식에 영향을 미치는 변인에 관한 연구: 만 12세 이하 자녀를 둔 기혼 남녀를 대상으로 (A study on factors influencing of perceived work-family conflict of dual-earner men and women: married working men and women with children under 12years)

  • The purpose of this study was to identify perceived work-family conflict of married working women and men with children under 12 years. Specifically, This study attempts to examine the differences of relative influence between objective time variables and subjective satisfaction variables unlike previous research. For research, this study used the data of 1012 working men and women from the 3rd Nation survey of Korean Family in 2015. The main results of this study were as following. First, Business hours and cognition of enough leisure time had more relative effect of work${\rightarrow}$family conflict than any other variable. On the other hand, leisure time on weekdays had the effect of family${\rightarrow}$work conflict with women and men. Second, gender differences of work${\rightarrow}$family conflict and family${\rightarrow}$work conflict were identified. In work${\rightarrow}$family conflict, men were influenced cognition of enough leisure time, women were influenced couple conversation time and employment status unlike men. In family${\rightarrow}$work conflict, men were not influenced subjective satisfaction variables. But women were influenced satisfaction with division of child care. Third, in family${\rightarrow}$work conflict, the addition of objective time variables in Model of men resulted in an increased $R^2$-value, but in work${\rightarrow}$family conflict and family${\rightarrow}$work conflict, the addition of subjective satisfaction variables in Model of women resulted in an increased $R^2$-value.

  • In the point of view, this study aims to examine the life of remarriaged old people after divorce and bereavement. therefore, the purpose of this study is to increase the understanding of married couple's relationship and remarriage in old age and help old people who want to be abused about their remarriage as a coping response of lire for widowhood in old aged. the subject were 14 old people who married over 53 years old bereavement and divorce residing in Chonju, Chonbuk and they had indepth interviews. 1. Most of subject would married with help of matchmaker under the consent a children and relative 2. The main motivation of remarriage was lone lies, however, for men being taken care and for women economic security were also important. 3. Premarriage experience seemed to help spouse adjustment between couples. 4. They matintained close relationship with there biological children. 5. There show a tendency to the bereavement woman remarriage life was happier than divorce woman. 6. When one of the couple had regular income, little economic conflict was there. In most case, wifes were younger than husband and economic stability after husband's death was their main concern and when the husband didn't show definite will to inherit asset to his wife, conflict got bigger.

이혼 위기를 극복한 부부의 사례연구 - 이마고 부부관계치료 경험을 중심으로 - (A case study on a couple who overcame a crisis of divorce - Focused on the experience of IMAGO relationship therapy -)

  • Objectives: The purpose of this study is to investigate and confirm the main factors of IMAGO relationship therapy(IRT) which influences overcoming a crisis of divorce, the role of the Imago relationship therapist and the changes made by the couple themselves in the process of the therapy. Method: This case study was based on the interviews with a couple who had participated in ten sessions of IRT. The couple who had been in the middle of a divorce lawsuit withdrew their suit after the therapy. The Interviews were conducted twice on the couple. The data from the interviews were analyzed by using constant comparative analysis, open coding method and Miles & Huberman's network display. Results: The findings of the study were as follows. Firstly, the factors influencing overcoming a crisis of divorce included preparation for the Imago dialogue and the structure of the Imago dialogue. Secondly, the role of the therapist was providing safety and confidence, deepening couple's conversations, and building the connectedness of the couple. Thirdly, the changes evident after the therapy included awareness of the influence of the original family, new image formation for each spouse, intimacy restoration and a changed perspective. Conclusions: Based on the findings, the study can contribute to healthy relational progress of married couples in conflict by developing the conditions to effectively apply the IRT. In addition, this study can be used to equip therapists with necessary tools and abilities for the therapy.

이혼 후 재결합에 대한 인터넷 사이버공동체 참여자들의 인식 (Perception of Internet Cyber Community Participants on Reconciliation of Divorced Couple)

  • 본 연구는 이혼한 부부들이 현실적으로 이혼 후 대안의 하나로 고려해보거나 혹은 실행하는 재결합에 대하여 사이버상에서 이루어지는 이혼 후 재결합과 관련된 논의의 내용을 살펴보고자 하였다. 이를 위해 이혼 후 재결합과 관련된 인터넷 웹사이트에서 이혼 후 재결합을 고민 중인 다양한 일곱 가지 사례들을 택하여 각각의 사례들에 대해 사이버공동체 성원들이 재결합을 지지 혹은 반대하는 의견을 중심으로 이혼 후 재결합에 대한 인식을 살펴보았다. 그 결과 사이버공동체 성원들은 다양한 이유에서 이혼 후 재결합에 대해 지지하였다. 즉, 재결합에 대한 준비나 전배우자의 이혼 후 이성관계의 포용, 이혼이유의 성찰과 전배우자의 약점을 감싸주려는 노력이 전제되었을 때 그리고 혼인 신고 없이 재결합을 해보는 것, 자녀를 위해서는 재혼보다 재결합이 나을 것이라는 생각, 전배우자와의 이혼 후 성적 관계가 이루어진 경우 이혼 후 재결합을 지지하며 긍정적으로 인식하였다. 반면에 사이버공동체 성원들이 이혼 후 재결합에 대해 부정적으로 인식하며 반대하는 이유도 있었다. 즉, 시간이 갈수록 재결합의지가 약화될 것이라는 예측과 이혼한 전배우자에 대한 용서가 어려운 점, 전배우자의 무반성적이고 믿을 수 없는 태도, 외도로 인한 이혼의 경우 전배우자의 외도 재발의 우려, 재결합에 대한 전배우자의 진정성 결여, 성급한 재결합 결정으로 인한 후유증에 대한 염려, 이전의 갈등 해결 이 선행되지 않은 재결합으로 인한 재이혼의 문제, 전배우자의 단점 불변에 대한 생각 등으로 이혼 후 재결합에 대해 부정적으로 인식하였다. 아직 재결합을 하지 않고 재결합을 고민 중인 사례들에 대해 사이버공동체 성원들의 찬반 의견과 조언이 다양했던 반면, 자녀를 위해 이미 재결합을 결정한 사례에 대해서는 대부분의 사이버공동체 성원들은 재결합을 지지하며 긍정적으로 인식하였다. 이러한 연구의 결과는 이혼 후 재결합에 대한 학문적 논의와 사회적 관심이 미흡한 상황에서 이혼증가로 익명성이 보장된 사이버공간상에서 이혼 후 재결합을 둘러싼 논의들이 활발히 이루어지고 있음을 보여주며 아울러 이혼 후 재결합에 대한 사이버공동체 참여자들의 인식을 통해 추후로 이혼 후 재결합의 성패요인에 대한 학문적, 실천적 논의를 확장시켜 가는데 일조할 수 있을 것이다.

결혼이민여성의 부부갈등과 양육 스트레스가 양육행동에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Married Migrant Women's Marital Conflict and Parenting Stress on their Parenting Behaviors)

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the impact of marital conflict, parenting stress on married migrant women's parenting attitudes. Participants in this study were 109 married migrant moms of young children. The major results of this study were as follows: First, married migrant women's parenting stress and marital conflicts negatively related to warmth-encouragement, limit setting, but were positively related to rejection-noninteraction in parenting behavior. Second, married migrant women's warmth-encouragement in parenting behavior was affected by personal conflicts and couple relationship conflicts. Third, competence stress, attachment stress, spouse stress, isolation stress, and health stress also affected warmth-encourage parenting behavior. On the other hand, attachment stress, spouse stress and isolation stress had significant effects on limit setting in parenting behaviors. For rejection-noninteraction in parenting behaviors, depression and spouse stress affected significantly.

가족친화적 정책을 통한 일-가족 균형에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Work-Family Balance Based on the Family Friendly Policy)

  • Working men and women experience the overload of labor and the conflict between work and family according to the increase of working women and working couples. Work-family conflict can have adverse effects on quality of life and satisfaction with employees' work lives. And severe conflicts can interfere with employees' concentration on their jobs and increase absenteeism. So, employers are helping to keep employees the balance of work-family by supporting them through family friendly policies. This study emphasized the necessity of work-family balance through the statistical data and importance on the family. And the related studies and efforts of outstanding companies in USA and Korea are provided. Based on this study, programs on work-family balance must be developed and attentions of working families, employers, communities are needed.
