  • 공간 데이터 마이닝을 위한 기존의 클러스터링 기법들은 점 객체만을 대상으로 한다. 즉, 선이나 면 같은 다양한 공간 객체들을 지원하지 못한다. 이것은 클러스터링 과정에서 객체들 간의 거리 계산에 있어서, 점 객체는 용이하지만 선과 면인 경우에는 어렵기 때문이다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 문제점을 해결하기 위하여 균등 격자를 이용한 클러스터링 기법을 설계한다. 세부적으로 이 기법에서는 다각형 객체들 간의 거리 계산을 균등 격자를 이용하여 단순화시킴으로서 거리 계산에 따른 시간과 비용을 줄일 수 있다.

  • In this paper, we propose an approach resolving inaccuracy of the low-cost redundant manipulator workspace with low encoder and low stiffness. When the manipulators are manufactured with low-cost encoders and low-cost links, the robots can run into workspace inaccuracy issues. Furthermore, trajectory generation based on conventional forward/inverse kinematics without taking into account inaccuracy issues will introduce the risk of end-effector fluctuations. Hence, we propose an optimization for the trajectory generation method based on the DDPG (Deep Deterministic Policy Gradient) algorithm for the low-cost redundant manipulators reaching the target position in Euclidean space. We designed the DDPG algorithm minimizing the distance along with the jacobian condition number. The training environment is selected with an error rate of randomly generated joint spaces in a simulator that implemented real-world physics, the test environment is a real robotic experiment and demonstrated our approach.

최소비용문제에서 치명호를 결정하는 방법 (A Method for Determining the Most Vital Arcs in Minimum Cost Flow Problem)

  • The purpose of this paper is to find the most vital arc in the minimum cost flow problem. The most vital arc is the arc whose removal results in the greatest influence in the costs or the amount of demands in a given minimum cost flow network. This problem can be well applied to the conflict situations such as military logistics network or communications network. In this situation, network user wants to know which arcs are the most vital to him so that he can reinforce these arcs against attack, while interdictor wants to destroy these arcs which increase the distance of the shortest path most through the network. When one of arcs is removed from the network of the minimum cost flow problem, two kinds of situations can be occurred ; breaking feasibility and increasing cost. In case of breaking feasibility, the rank of arcs are determined using the amount of modified flow in a related network which is made of modifying the optimal alternative of the minimum cost flow problem. The rank of arcs with the increased costs are determined by using a method which finds the directed cycle with the minimum cost in a related network.

  • 본 논문에서는 스위치드 릴럭턴스 모터의 새로운 회전자 초기 위치 추정법을 제안한다. 회전자의 위치검출을 하기 위하여 서치 코일을 사용하는 경우 센서비용감소, 부피감소, 강인성 증대, 사용범위의 확대 등 많은 장점이 있다. 그러나 모터의 회전자가 초기에 회전하지 않기 때문에, 서치코일에 유기되는 기전력이 존재하지 않아 회전자의 초기 위치검출에 어려움이 있었다. 본 논문에서는 유클리디안 제곱거리(Squared Euclidean Distance)를 사용하여 초기에 회전자가 정지해 있을 경우에도 회전자의 위치를 정확하게 추정하는 방법을 제시하였다. 이를 위하여 시뮬레이션을 실시하였고 이를 토대로 실험한 결과 정확한 초기 회전자 위치를 추정함으로써 본 논문에서 제시한 방법의 타당성을 검증하였다.

유전자 알고리듬을 이용한 운행비용 최소화 다용량 차량경로문제 (A Heterogeneous VRP to Minimize the Transportation Costs Using Genetic Algorithm)

  • A heterogeneous VRP which considers various capacities, fixed and variable costs was suggested in this study. The transportation cost for vehicle is composed of its fixed and variable costs incurred proportionately to the travel distance. The main objective is to minimize the total sum of transportation costs. A mathematical programming model was suggested for this purpose and it gives an optimal solution by using OPL-STUDIO (ILOG CPLEX). A genetic algorithm which considers improvement of an initial solution, new fitness function with weighted cost and distance rates, and flexible mutation rate for escaping local solution was also suggested. The suggested algorithm was compared with the results of a tabu search and sweeping method by Taillard and Lee, respectively. The suggested algorithm gives better solutions rather than existing algorithms.

  • This study addresses a low-cost lidar sensor-based glass feature extraction method for an accurate map representation using statistical moments, i.e. the mean and variance. Since the low-cost lidar sensor produces range-only data without intensity and multi-echo data, there are some difficulties in detecting glass-like objects. In this study, a principle that an incidence angle of a ray emitted from the lidar with respect to a glass surface is close to zero degrees is concerned for glass detection. Besides, all sensor data are preprocessed and clustered, which is represented using statistical moments as glass feature candidates. Glass features are selected among the candidates according to several conditions based on the principle and geometric relation in the global coordinate system. The accumulated glass features are classified according to the distance, which is lastly represented on the map. Several experiments were conducted in glass environments. The results showed that the proposed method accurately extracted and represented glass windows using proper parameters. The parameters were empirically designed and carefully analyzed. In future work, we will implement and perform the conventional SLAM algorithms combined with our glass feature extraction method in glass environments.

광학적 분석방법을 이용한 보폭측정 (Measurement of Stride Length Using Optical Method)

  • Since conventional methods for measuring stride length(distance) are many weaknesses, optical methods have been developed to measure stride length(distance) of human pedestrians. IR(Infrared) elements and Power LED(Light Emitting Diode) with two types of lens were used to correlate detected light intensity with stride length(distance). The suggested methods in this study are simple, convenient, and cost effective. The results can be used to analyze walking patterns of normal and disabled men, and to monitor the recovering processes of the disabled patients.

  • 방사형 거리 센서는 측량 및 자율 주행에 널리 사용된다. 이러한 센서의 작동 원리 및 적용 방법의 교육이 필요하다. 상용 방사형 거리 센서의 저성능화를 통한 저가화가 계속되고 있지만, 교육 목적으로 사용하기에는 여전히 고가이다. 본 논문에서는 교육용 로봇에 활용할 수 있는 저가의 포토트랜지스터의 방사형 배열을 이용한 물체추적기능을 갖는 거리 센서 모듈을 제안한다. 제안하는 방법은 포토트랜지스터를 180도 범위의 배열로 배치하여 빠르게 움직이는 물체의 위치를 즉시 감지할 수 있으며 서보 모터를 사용한 센서 회전으로 감지 각도 범위를 향상하고 물체를 추적한다. 제안된 센서의 스캔 속도는 상업용 거리 센서보다 50~200배 빨라서 1ms의 제어 루프를 가지는 고성능의 교육용 모바일 로봇에 적용할 수 있다.

  • The Kinematic GPS is well known to provide a quite good accuracy of positioning within an level. Although kinematic GPS assures high precision measurement on the basis of an appreciable distance between a reference station and an observational point, it has measurable distance restriction within 20 km from a reference station on land. Therefore, it is necessary to make out a simple and low-cost method to obtain accurate positioning information without distance restriction In this paper, the velocity integration method to get the precise velocity information of a ship is explained. The experimental results of Zig-zag maneuver and Williamson turn as the ship's maneuvering test, and other experimental results of ship's movement during leaving and entering the port with low speed were shown. From the experimental results, ship's course, speed and position are compared with those obtained by kinematic-GPS, velocity integration method and dead reckoning position using Gyro-compass and Doppler-log.

  • Kinematic GPS provides quite good accuracy of position in cm level. Though K-GPS assures high precision measurement in cm level on the basis of an appreciable distance between a station and an observational point, but it has measurable distance restriction within 20 km from a reference station on land. So it is necessary to make out a simple and low-cost method to obtain accurate positioning information without distance restriction.
