P56 LCK Inhibitor Identification by Pharmacophore Modelling and Molecular Docking

  • Pharmacophore models for lymphocyte-specific protein tyrosine kinase (P56 LCK) were developed using CATALYST HypoGen with a training set comprising of 25 different P56 LCK inhibitors. The best quantitative pharmacophore hypothesis comprises of one hydrogen bond acceptor, one hydrogen bond donor, one hydrophobic aliphatic and one ring aromatic features with correlation coefficient of 0.941, root mean square deviation (RMSD) of 0.933 and cost difference (null cost-total cost) of 66.23. The pharmacophore model was validated by two methods and the validated model was further used to search databases for new compounds with good estimated LCK inhibitory activity. These compounds were evaluated for their binding properties at the active site by molecular docking studies using GOLD software. The compounds with good estimated activity and docking scores were evaluated for physiological properties based on Lipinski's rules. Finally 68 compounds satisfied all the properties required to be a successful inhibitor candidate.

로트 크기 결정 문제의 새로운 혼합정수계획법 모형 및 휴리스틱 알고리즘 개발 (An Alternative Modeling for Lot-sizing and Scheduling Problem with a Decomposition Based Heuristic Algorithm)

  • In this paper, we consider a new lot-sizing and scheduling problem (LSSP) that minimizes the sum of production cost, setup cost and inventory cost. Setup carry-over and overlapping as well as demand splitting are considered. Also, maximum number of setups for each time period is not limited. For this LSSP, we have formulated a mixed integer programming (MIP) model, of which the size does not increase even if we divide a time period into a number of micro time periods. Also, we have developed an efficient heuristic algorithm by combining decomposition scheme with local search procedure. Test results show that the developed heuristic algorithm finds good quality (in practice, even better) feasible solutions using far less computation time compared with the CPLEX, a competitive MIP solver.

비보험비용의 정량적 산출방안에 관한 연구 (A Study on Quantitative Estimation of Uninsured Cost)

  • The estimation of costs from industrial accidents is very important because they have a serious effect on individuals, companies, and nation. The department of labor estimates the cost of accidents by using the "Heinrich" method. From that method, the scale of accident cost can be approximately computed, but accurate calculation of uninsured cost is not easy. Therefore, a better method of calculating uninsured cost caused by industrial accident is necessary. This study aimed to construct an estimation method of uninsured cost according to domestic circumstances. The results of this study are as follows: (1) This study derived applicable factors for quantitative estimation of industrial accident cost (2) This study made the equation that the calculation of each item of uninsured cost was possible (3) This study applied the uninsured cost by degrees of disaster to individual items (4) The subjects and types of occurrence in uninsured cost were analyzed and presented. Theses results will provide a basis for further researchers of uninsured cost.

  • Since the late 1980s, the schedule technique applied to the construction industry around the world has rapidly changed from the traditional ADM (Arrow Diagramming Method) to the PDM (Precedence Diagramming Method) technique. The main reason for this change is to overcome the limits and inconveniences of the traditional ADM technique. The time-cost trade-off is one of the core scheduling techniques to establish the best optimized combination plan in terms of a relationship between the cost and schedule. However, most of the schedule-related textbooks and research papers have discussed and proposed applications of a time-cost trade-off technique based only on the Finish to Start relationship. Therefore, there are almost no consideration and discussion of problems or restrictions that emerge when the time-cost trade-off technique is applied to the PDM network that has overlapping relationships. This paper proposes the lead-time adjustment method as a methodology for overcoming some restrictions that are encountered when the time-cost trade-off technique is applied to the overlapping relationships of the PDM network.

This paper derives the considerable "Cost of Quality" factors in the satellite development phase through the survey of practical techniques in respect of measurement of quality cost in the commercial products manufacturing, and proposes mitigation strategy of quality cost using the approach that can be minimized it.

공동주택 RC 및 PC공법 적용 공사비 비교 및 OSC의 포괄적 경제성 분석 프레임워크 구축 (Comparison of Construction Cost Applied by RC and PC Construction Method for Apartment House and Establishment of OSC Economic Analysis Framework)

  • OSC는 기획, 설계, 시공, 유지보수 등의 건설생산 전 과정에 걸친 공급망과 가치사슬의 한 유형으로 건설현장이 아닌 공장 등 제 3의 장소에서 제작한 후 현장으로 운반하여 설치 및 시공하므로써 최종 목적물을 생산하는 방식이다. 본 연구에서는 PC공법 및 RC공법을 적용한 공동주택 사례를 각각 1개에 대하여 공사비를 비교하였다. PC공법 적용(PC설계비 제외)의 경우 RC공법만 적용하는 경우에 비해 골조 단위물량(m3)당 골조공사비가 약 70% 내외로 증가(RC 공종 합계 기준 50%)함을 도출하였다. PC공법 적용 사례 전체 골조 공사비 중 PC비중이 90.2%로 'PC제작비'가 54.8%, 'PC조립' 28.5%, '운반'이 6.89%를 차지하여, PC제작 및 조립 부문에서 비용 절감 노력이 필요할 것으로 판단하였다. 또한, 비용과 편익을 함께 고려할 수 있는 의사결정 프레임워크 초안을 구축하였다. 편익의 경우 OSC 기술적 장점이 반영된 공사기간, 하자보수, 재해발생, 에너지효율, 소음/분진/폐기물, 온실가스 배출 지표를 제시하였다. OSC기반 PC 공동주택 도입 의사결정을 지원하기 위한 적용 효과 근거를 마련하는데 기여할 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.

  • 물산업 우수제품 지정제도는 우수제품의 기술규격을 만족하는 물산업 우수제품을 사용자가 우선 구매토록 유도하여 국내 물기업의 기술개발 촉진 및 시장 활성화를 통한 물산업 선순환 구조 조성을 목적으로 한다. 본 연구에서는 2가지 용량의 펌프를 대상으로 물산업 우수제품으로 지정된 제품과 일반제품의 비용측면의 장점에 대한 객관적인 근거를 사용자에게 제시하고자 하였다. 비용측면의 장점에 대한 분석방법으로 생애주기비용 분석(Life Cycle Cost; LCC)을 통한 경제성 평가를 실시하였고, LCC에 필요한 각종 자료를 조사하였다. 조사한 항목으로는 초기투자비용(펌프 구매비용, 설치비용), 운영비용(에너지비용, 유지관리비용) 및 철거비용(폐기 비용, 잔존가치)이다. 2가지 용량의 우수제품과 일반제품을 비교한 결과, 1,860m3/h 용량(이하 대용량)에서 15년의 운영기간동안 우수제품의 생애주기 비용이 대략 212백만원 정도 적게 소요될 것으로 예측되었으며, 360m3/h 용량에서는 우수제품의 생애주기 비용이 17백만원 정도 적게 소요될 것으로 예측되었다. 또한, 대용량 펌프의 우수제품에 대하여 민감도 분석을 추가로 실시하여 펌프 생산 시 제품의 생애주기 비용을 절감하기 위해 고려해야 할 사항을 살펴보았다. 그 결과 펌프의 효율 향상과 소모품의 교체주기를 증가시키는 방향으로 제품을 개발하는 경우, LCC에 미치는 효과가 클 것으로 예측되었다.

전력구 설치 공사의 안전관리비 계상 기준에 관한 연구 (Safety Management Cost Accounting for Underground Electric Power Transmission Facility Construction)

  • In the Construction Technology Promotion Act (CTPA) of the Republic of Korea, safety management cost is enforced as a statutory cost that must be included in the budget of construction projects. However, the construction of underground electric power transmission facilities (UEPTFs) is not included in the category of construction works defined in the CTPA. Consequently, the statutory safety management cost does not apply to the construction of UEPTFs. To overcome this limitation, the clients of UEPTF construction projects generally provide internal guidelines enabling the addition of the safety management cost in the project budget. Nevertheless, even after the execution of the internal guidelines, some important cost items are omitted from the budget owing to the incompleteness of the guidelines. In this context, this paper proposes a complete set of accounting items and their calculation methods for appropriate budgeting of the safety management cost of UEPTF construction projects. To this end, the current budgeting method of the safety management cost of UEPTF construction projects is analyzed, and a questionnaire study is performed to confirm the necessary cost items and their appropriate calculation methods. Based on the results of the questionnaire study, a set of accounting items and their calculation criteria for the budgeting of the safety management cost of UEPTF construction projects are proposed.

  • In this paper, we describe the configuration of the KITSAT-3 image data receiving, archiving, processing and distribution system in operation. Following the low-cost and software-based design concept, the whole system is composed of three PCs : two for data receiving, archiving and processing which provide a full dual-redundant configuration and one for image catalog browsing which can be accessed by public users. Except that receiving and archiving PCs have serial data ingest boards plugged in, they are configured by general peripherals. This basic and simple hardware configuration made it possible to show that a very low cost system can support a full ground operation for the utilization of high-resolution satellite image data.

SMI Compatible Simulation Scheduler Design for Reuse of Model Complying with SMP Standard

  • Software reusability is one of key factors which impacts cost and schedule on a software development project. It is very crucial also in satellite simulator development since there are many commercial simulator models related to satellite and dynamics. If these models can be used in another simulator platform, great deal of confidence and cost/schedule reduction would be achieved. Simulation model portability (SMP) is maintained by European Space Agency and many models compatible with SMP/simulation model interface (SMI) are available. Korea Aerospace Research Institute (KARI) is developing hardware abstraction layer (HAL) supported satellite simulator to verify on-board software of satellite. From above reasons, KARI wants to port these SMI compatible models to the HAL supported satellite simulator. To port these SMI compatible models to the HAL supported satellite simulator, simulation scheduler is preliminary designed according to the SMI standard.
