This study is conducted to examine how purchase behaviors of consumers have affected by the promotion of coupons in internet shopping mall. This study was conducted with the purpose of identifying the differences in purchase behavior based on consumer' s perception and experience of internet shopping mall coupons, and based on consumers' perception of cost and value of coupons, using a theoretic framework presented in previously conducted studies. The results of this study can be summarized as follows. First, based on the perception of coupons, there were significant differences in intent to use and intent to re-use at the time when coupons are offered, and at the time when coupons are offered, no significant differences were found between the level of interest and the importance of coupon at the time of visiting the shopping mall; however, significant differences were found in the overall purchase behavior based on perception of coupons. Second, when overall differences m purchase behavior based on experience in coupon use was observed, having experience in using coupons showed a higher average than did having no experience in using coupons, showing a significant difference. It was found that compared to those without experience in using coupons, those with experience with coupons had higher intent to use at the time when coupon is offered, intent to re-use at the time when coupon is offered, and higher level of purchase behavior in the importance of coupons at the time of visiting the shopping mall. Third, when relationship between purchase behaviors, cost of coupon, and perception of convenience was observed, a clear static relationship was found. This suggests that as the cost and perception of convenience of coupon increases, purchase behavior also increases. Such result suggests that there is a difference in purchase behavior based on experience in coupon use. When relationship of purchase behavior by variables of cost of coupon and perception of convenience is observed, it has a positive relationship with the perception that the use of coupon includes saving money, financial help, enjoyment of use, habitual use, has a short effective date, and has a negative relationship with the perception that it saves little money and is a waste of time. Therefore, it can be seen that purchase behavior has the highest relationship with enjoyment of coupon use and habitual coupon use. Such results suggest that purchase behavior will be significantly influenced based on cost of coupon and perception of convenience.
CS is one of the major concerns of managers in the world because it is well known to be a key medium construct for firms' superior outcome. One of the major agents for CS management is retailers. Firms try to manage not only employees but also retailers to promote CS behaviors. And so diverse incentives are used to promote their CS behaviors under diverse channel setting such as multi-channel. However in spite of the rising needs there has been scarce studies on the optimal incentive structure for a manufacturer to offer competing retailers at the multi-channel. In this paper, we try to find better way for a manufacturer to promote the competing retailers' CS behaviors. We investigated how to promote the retailers' CS behavior via game-theoretic modeling. Especially, we focus on the possible incentive, CS bonus type reward introduced in the studies of Hauser, Simester, and Wernerfelt(1994) and Chu and Desai(1995). We build up a multi stage complete information game and derive a subgame perfect equilibrium using backward induction. Stages of the game are as following. (Stage 1) Manufacturer sets wholesale price(w) and CS bonus($\eta$). (Stage 2) Both retailers in competition set CS effort level($e_i$) and retail price($p_i$) simultaneously. (Stage 3) Consumers make purchasing decisions based on the manufacturer's initial reputation and retailers' CS efforts.
With disseminationof Distributed Control Systems(DCS), the huge amounts of process operation data could have been available and led to figure out process behaviors better on the statistical basis. Until now, the statistical modeling technology has been susally applied to process monitoring and fault diagnosis. however, it has been also thought that these process information, extracted from statistical analysis, might serve a great opportunity for process operation improvements and process improvements. This paper proposed a general methodolgy for process operation improvements including data analysis, backing up the result of analysis based on the methodology, and the mapping physical physical phenomena to the Principal Components(PC) which is the most distinguished feature in the methodology form traditional statistical analyses. The application of the proposed methodology to the Balst Furnace(BF) process has been presented for details. The BF process is one of the complicated processes, due to the highly nonlinear and correlated behaviors, and so the analysis for the process based on the mathematical modeling has been very difficult. So the statisitical analysis has come forward as a alternative way for the useful analysis. Using the proposed methodology, we could interpret the complicated process, the BF, better than any other mathematical methods and find the direction for process operation improvement. The direction of process operationimprovement, in the BF case, is to increase the fludization and the permeability, while decreasing the effect of tapping operation. These guide directions, with those physical meanings, could save fuel cost and process operator's pressure for proper actions, the better set point changes, in addition to the assistance with the better knowledge of the process. Open to set point change, the BF has a variety of steady state modes. In usual almost chemical processes are under the same situation with the BF in the point of multimode steady states. The proposed methodology focused on the application to the multimode steady state process such as the BF, consequently can be applied to any chemical processes set point changing whether operator intervened or not.

The use of precast concrete segments facilitates quality control and reduces construction cost and period. However, as a construction method it has limited applicability, for it demonstrates structurally disadvantageous behaviors due to stress concentration and large displacement in the joint of assembled segments. This paper proposes a precast segment joint with improved structural performance, and experimentally assesses the structural performance of the proposed joint in terms of crack and failure modes, deformation, maximum load and displacement ductility. In consideration of constructability and structural performance, this paper suggests different types of joint with shear key, post tension and steel rods as variables, and performs a static loading test on them. The test results show that the performance of SGSP specimens is around 84% that of a monolithic specimen in terms of the maximum load, while their ductility behaviors are better than the monolithic specimen. This result confirms the improved structural performance and applicability of the proposed joint.
Purpose - The purpose of this research is to investigate the effect of ex ante governance mechanisms that can be exercised by franchisers on franchise contract compliance and various relationship outcomes. There are many previous studies on control mechanisms in inter-firm relationship, however, most studies focus on ex post governance mechanisms and identify the effects of behavior control and outcome control on performances. Based on transaction cost theory and agency theory, this study defines the ex ante governance mechanisms of franchisers as contractual completeness and extra contractual incentives. The author have examined the two ex ante control mechanisms on contract compliance, recontract intention, multi-shop running intention and opportunistic behaviors of franchisee. Research design, data, and methodology - In this study, 137 questionnaires of food and beverage franchise stores were collected through a specialized research company. The reliability and validity of the variables were analyzed using SPSS 18.0 and AMOS 18.0 programs and hypotheses were verified through the structural equation modeling. Results - As a result of hypothesis testing, contractual completeness and extra contractual incentives have a positive effect on the contract compliance of the franchisee. It is shown that franchisee's contract compliance has a positive effect on recontract intention and multi-shop running intention and has a negative effect on opportunistic behaviors. Conclusions - This study examines the ex ante governance mechanisms such as contractual completeness and extra contractual incentives, which is relatively rare compared to ex post governance mechanism in B2B relationship. According to the results of this research, these two tools can be used as ex ante control mechanisms for franchise headquarters to use their franchisees. In addition, franchisee's contract compliance affects various relationship outcomes between franchisor and franchisees.

The integration of the landing gear system is a complex relationship between the many conflicting parameters of shock absorption, minimum stow area, complexity, weight and cost. Especially ground impact load and dynamic behaviors greatly influence design load of landing gear components as well as load carrying structural attachment. This study investigates ground impact load and dynamic behaviors of the T-50 landing gear system using ADAMS. Taking into account for various operational/environmental conditions, an analysis of shock absorbing characteristics at ground impact is performed with experience derived from a wide range of proprietary designs. Analytical results are presented for discussing the effects of aircraft horizontal and vertical speed, landing attitudes, shock absorbing efficiency. This analysis leads us to the conclusion that the proposed program is shown to be a better quantitative one that apply to a new development and troubleshooting of the landing gear system.
The behaviors associated with illness are different depend upon individuals even if Patients complaints same symptoms and have same disease. Understanding the patterns of those behaviors become one of the important elements in determining the diagnostic and treatment approaches and treatment compliance. The sick role plays a essencial part in abnormal illness behavior. The characteristics of abnormal illness behavior ran be applied to many parts in medicine. In case of the various kinds of functional disorders whose organic foundations are obscure and in applying the cognitive therapy, rehabilitation program and occupational therapy, the assessment and evaluation of the abnormal illness behvior is known to be beneficial. For improving the comprehensive psychiatric treatments which could be applied to the Koreans more effectively in patients with somatoform disorders and other various kinds of neurotic disorders further researches especially on the medico-historical and socio-cultural aspects of the illness behavior should be followed. And understanding the abnormal illness behavior would be helpful in enhancing the medical cost effectiveness.

A number or MPLS ATM switching system have been proposed to increase the access speed or current routers, but they cannot satisfy the Internet users who use diverse applications. So they are required to support the so-called differential service, which discriminates service behaviors according to the service class. In this paper, to support this differential service we suggest an LSP control method, which uses the extended LDP message and establishes several different LSPs for each FEC according to the service class. Also, we propose an marking algorithm using the cell loss priority field or ATM cells in order to process the differential service according to application categories. In addition, we present a forwarding procedure based on the LSP control method and the marking algorithm. A forwarding model applied this forwarding procedure can be easily implemented with a minimum modification of existing MPLS ATM switching systems. Therefore, we can save cost and time needed to implement the proposed model. Finally, we estimate the performance behaviors of the proposed application-based forwarding model by the AweSim simulation package.
The purpose of study is to understand human-technology integration mechanism by using the study model that takes the core concept and motivation assumptions of technology acceptance model(TAM) into account. This study identifies three motivation mechanisms in adopting or using computer mediated communication(CMC) tool for work. The mechanism comprises with extrinsic, extrinsic motivation, and subjective norm pressure. One hospital with 430 beds and 367 human power was identified and we administered the questionnaire during their work hours. There is 32.4% response rate. The fitting index of the study model surpass the acceptable level, GFI = .980 for none-users, GFI =.986 for users, NNFI = .973 for none-users, and NNFI = .989 for users. In the case of none-users, perceived ease of use determines perceived usefulness that explains behavioral intention to use. As a result, adotpers' usage motivation is based on extrinsic motivation that does not consider their affective factor, attitude, in use of CMC. Users considers their attitudes as the mediating factor of all behavioral beliefs for using CMC continually. Thus, users are likely to depend their adoption behaviors on their affective factor. Moreover, users' behavioral intention is subject to pressures of use from other persons who are important to them, such as supervisor, director, or boss. Achieving human-technology integration in a hospital may cause cost saving and work efficiency. However, the success of information system should base on a profound understanding of employees' adoption behaviors in rejecting, adopting, using, continually using of IT, and organization culture in using IT.
