최고경영자와 이사회의 네트워크밀도와 R&D투자의 관계 - 기업분할 유형과 제도의 조절효과 분석 - (Relationship between Network Intensity of Top Managers and R&D Investment - Focus on Moderating Effects of the Corporate Division Type and System -)

  • 본 연구는 최고경영자와 이사회의 네트워크밀도와 R&D투자 간의 관계와 이들 관계에 영향을 미칠 수 있는 기업분할의 유형과 제도의 영향을 분석하는데 주된 목적을 두고 실행되었다. 연구목적의 달성을 위해 외환위기가 발생하고 기업분할 관련법(상법 530조)이 제정된 직후인 1999년부터 가장 최근의 자료수집이 가능한 2016년까지 총 18년의 연구기간 동안 기업분할을 실행한 국내기업들을 대상으로 다중회귀분석을 실행하였다, 분석결과는 국내기업 최고경영자와 이사회의 네트워크밀도와 R&D투자 간에 유의한 정(+)의 관계가 있음을 보여주고 있다. 또한 기업분할 유형과 관련하여 최고경영자와 이사회의 네트워크밀도와 R&D투자 간의 정의 관계는 비관련분할에서 보다 관련분할을 실행한 기업에서 강화되었음을 보여주고 있으며, 기업분할 제도와 관련해서는 물적분할보다 인적분할을 실행한 기업들에서 이들 관계가 강화되었음을 보여주고 있다. 신속한 의사결정이 요구되는 사안임에도 불구하고 장기적인 관점에서 높은 수준의 불확실성과 위험을 수반하게 되는 R&D투자결정에 있어 최고경영자와 이사회 간의 네트워크밀도가 긍정적인 영향을 미칠 수 있음을 보여주는 본 연구의 분석결과는 최고경영진들 간의 신뢰의 중요성을 강조해 온 네트워크이론의 주장과 일치한다. 또한 혁신역량 강화를 위한 R&D투자결정에 있어 개인수준의 요인들뿐만 아니라 조직수준의 요인이 함께 고려되어야 함을 시사하고 있다. 본 연구는 향후 기업분할의 활용을 통한 보다 전략적인 국내기업 지배구조의 개선방안에 대한 연구를 강화하는 동기를 제공해 줄 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

CTBA 지오메트리 보상 시스템 개발 (CTBA Geometry Compensation System)

  • CTBA(Coupled Torsion Beam Axle) has been adapted as the rear suspension of a compact car. Because that has the advantage of cost and weight in comparison with multi-link type. But CTBA has the disadvantage in vehicle stability to become oversteer occurring toe-out of the rear wheel when cornering and braking. In this study, we suggested CTBA Geometry Compensation System to overcome the disadvantage of CTBA. We predicted braking and cornering vehicle performance from proposed equation and numerical simulation. And also, the results were compared to objective and subjective evaluation in vehicle.

북미 Tier2 Bin5 규제 대응을 위한 디젤 SCR 개발 (Diesel SCR Development to Meet US Tier2 Bin5 Emission Regulation)

  • The introduction of a diesel engine into the passenger car and light duty applications in the United States involves significant technical challenges for the automotive makers. This paper describes the SCR System optimization procedure for such a diesel engine application to meet Tier2 Bin5 emission regulation. A urea SCR system, a representative $NO_x$ reduction after-treatment technique, is applied to a 3.0 liter diesel engine. To achieve the maximum $NO_x$ reduction performance, the exhaust system layout was optimized using series of the computational fluid dynamics and the urea distribution uniformity test. Furthermore a comprehensive simulation model for the key factors influencing $NO_x$ reduction performance was developed and embedded in the Simulink/Matlab environment. This model was then applied to the urea SCR system and played a key role to shorten the time needed for SCR control parameter calibration. The potential of a urea SCR system for reducing diesel $NO_x$ emission is shown for FTP75 and US06 emission standard test cycle.

  • The new 1.4 L turbocharged LPG direct injection (T-LPDI) engine is presented in this paper to improve the fuel efficiency of the vehicles installed with the 2.0 L LPG port fuel injection (LPI) engine, while maintaining the performance as a downsizing concept for the new engine platform development. Firstly, the return type high pressure LPG fuel supply system is designed and mounted in the new 1.4 L T-LPDI engine. As a result, this new engine shows a much better WOT performance and approximately 8 % of improved fuel economy level, as compared to the 2.0 L LPI vehicle. Secondly, the LPDI engine specific optimized design for high pressure fuel components and fuel injection control strategies are proposed and evaluated in order to overcome the restartability problem in a heat-soaked condition called the vapor lock phenomenon. Consequently, these experimental results illustrate a great potential for the developed 1.4 L T-LPDI engine as a possible substitute for the 2.0 L LPI engine.

  • In this paper, the feasibility of applying a position sensorless control technique to hybrid electric vehicles (HEVs) is practically evaluated. The proposed position estimator has a straightforward structure with properties that combines the model and the saliency tracking-based rotor position estimation for interior permanent magnet synchronous motors (IPMSMs). The proposed method can be used in the event of sensor loss or sensor recovery to sustain continuity of operations. The developed system takes into account the estimated position transition between two distinct sensorless methods. The transition is enhanced by introducing a synchronized transition algorithm based on a single tracking observer. Extensive experimental results are presented to verify the principles and show a reliable estimation performance over the entire speed range including standstill under 150% load conditions.

  • Recently many organizations have attempted to build hypermedia systems to expand their working areas to internet-based virtual work places. It is thus important to manage corporate hypermedia documents effectively. Metadata play a critical role for managing these documents. This paper identifies metadata roles and components to build its schema. Furthermore a meta-information system HyDoMiS(Hyperdocument Meta-information System) is proposed by the use of this metadata schema. HyDoMiS performs three functions metadata management search and reporting The metadata management function is concerned with workflow document and database. The system is more likely to help implement and maintsain hypermedia information system effectively.

  • This paper describes on studies of the heavy duty engine calibration for better fuel economy based on real driving conditions. Using testbed validated software simulation of the engine and turbocharger system, an alternative turbocharger specification, with potential to improve fuel economy was identified. Secondly, the engine calibration was modified to optimize vehicle fuel economy over a typical customer drive cycle whilst still meeting the steady-state (testbed) emissions legislation. These results were confirmed by field testing of a vehicle equipped with the updated specifications. This study found good agreements between the prediction and the field test on the vehicle fuel economy improvements of the express bus with updated calibration and turbocharger.

유압식 파워 스티어링 시스템의 어시스트 유량 특성 (Assisted Flow Rate Characteristics in Hydraulic Power Steering System)

  • Flow rate of the power steering oil pump is affected by oil temperature, engine rpm and pressure of pump. In this paper, considering those conditions, approximate model expressed by flow rate characteristics between hydraulic power steering oil pump and steering gear is proposed. Oil pump displacement is considered to be 9.6cc/rev. which is adapted to mid size car. Flow rate of the oil pump is predicted from the proposed model and compared with experimental data. And catch-up is also predicted in each steering wheel speed and is compared with experimental results.

  • Pressure ripple, vibration and noise level are measured in each parts of the power steering system. MD(Mahalanobis Distance) is calculated by using MTS(Mahalanobis Taguchi System) with measured data, and noise sensitive components are selected. The components applied detail design parameters are made and data is measured. After that MD is calculated also. Mean value and SN ratio can be obtained from the MD. Effective noise reduction technique and dominant design parameters in hydraulic power steering system are introduced.

  • The important elements and conditions to improve corporate competitiveness are customer development, new product development, sales increase, net profit increase, and other factors. Even if those competitiveness elements are well prepared, obstacles may exist. In this paper, we examined the risk, the deadliest obstacle that can affect corporate. We selected the risk factors that exist in functional categories in the system connected complicatedly and variously by organizational value chain of corporate, and examined the conceptual model of Enterprise Risk Management System based on the precedent studies.
