The coronavirus pandemic has brought about significant negative changes in our society to the point where it has to be divided into 'Before Corona'(BC) and 'After Corona'(AC). Typical examples include economic difficulties and medical inequality of some social excluded groups as well as individuals who die alone because they are alienated from social networks, and hate and violent discrimination against Asian immigrants, which are rapidly increasing in Western countries in these days. In addition, the pandemic is at a global level, ranging from the vaccine gap between the first and third worlds, triggered by competition for securing vaccines between countries that put their own interests first, the income gap due to changes in the economic environment and financial market, and the bankruptcy of individuals and corporations. In 'all'(pan) and 'people'(demos) became a limit situation that could not be avoided. There is also the opinion that the world could witness the worst catastrophe if the pandemic spreads to poor countries at risk of increasing violence, poverty and famine. The purpose of this paper is to examine the changes in society caused by the Coronavirus pandemic and to suggest the direction of Christian education accordingly. To this end, this paper analyzes the medical, economic, and psychological crises that society faces in the post-corona era. Next, we look at the changes in Christian theology, mission, and worship, which are strongly required for fundamental changes in the context of the pandemic. Based on the above discussion, we propose a new direction for Christian education necessary in the post-corona era.
This study aims to develop a face-to-face & non-face-to-face convergence tea culture therapy program for elderly people experiencing CORONA 19 pandemic anxiety and digital alienation, and apply the program to eight senior citizens aged 70 or older who use the K Senior Citizens' Day Care Center in P City to verify its effectiveness. Anxiety among elderly people experiencing coronavirus anxiety was 3.02 (SD 0.25) before participating in the program and 2.79 (SD 0.15), indicating a significant difference between before and after participating in the program (Z=4.245, P=.004) Based on this analysis, we present practical suggestions for the expansion of face-to-face & non-face-to-face convergence tea culture therapy programs to alleviate anxiety among elderly people who experience CORONA 19 pandemic anxiety.
This study aimed to determine the characteristics of maternal stress during the COVID-19 pandemic. This review collected data from May 1 to August 10, 2023, focusing on literature published from 2020 on wards in English or Korean using key biomedical (PubMed, Embase, Cochrane Library, and CINAHL) and major Korean databases (RISS, KISS, and the National Library of Korea). The searched terms were "pregnan*," "maternity," "COVID," "corona," "pandemic," "infection," and "stress," as well as their Korean equivalents. In total, 13 papers were selected. The maternal stress level generally increased during the COVID-19 pandemic. The primary factors affecting maternal stress were the medical, psychological, and socio-economic factors. Interventions for stress reduction in pregnant women during the pandemic were found to be effective, such as online education and training This study can be used as a reference for developing stress reduction programs to prepare for novel infectious disease emergencies.
The COVID-19 pandemic have been spreading continuously across the world, hence it is difficult to expect coming to an end in a short period of time. The use of digital technology has shown tangible results in suppressing COVID-19, but raised privacy and data-protection concerns. In the context of the global efforts to deal with the coronavirus pandemic, various digital technologies are taking on a role in surveillance, monitoring, and forecasting. Also the Korea government manages Corona crisis based on legal basis. In this paper, Korea and each country's response to the Corona 19 pandemic are shown, and suggests ways to protect personal information while using digital tools. Large-scale data collection and processing is essential for the suppression of pandemic, but it should be limited to the level and scope required privacy. Also international cooperation, temporary and transparent use of personal information, the corresponding legal basis are necessary. As the use of data and algorithms is expected to continue to increase, technical and institutional efforts to reinforce privacy protection must continue.
