The university library is supposed to build its collection in an organized and controlled manner to achieve its one goals for information services, and the book selection is an essential element of librarianship to support the university process of research and education effectively. This study focuses on the faculty influence on the book selection process of the university library. the researcher concludes that too much hegemony in the hands of professors is not appropriate and at least part of it should be handed over to librarians.

본 연구의 목적은 바이오뱅크(생명연구자원 소재은행)분야의 연구데이터 관리 및 서비스 동향을 고찰하고 시사점을 도출하는데 있다. 바이오뱅크 분야의 연구데이터 관리 및 서비스와 관련하여 해외 선진 사례를 프로그램과 서비스 모델측면에서 조사하였다. 조사된 프로그램과 서비스 모델은 ATCC(American Type Culture Collection), BIobank Data Sharing (MIABIS 2.0 Core), WDCM(World Data Center for Microorganism/Word Federation for Culture Collection)이다. 각각의 프로그램과 서비스 모델에서 시사점을 도출하였으며, 본 연구에서는 이를 기반으로 국내 생명연구자원 바이오뱅크 분야의 연구데이터 관리 및 서비스를 위한 시사점을 제시하였다.

지금까지 Web of Science의 core collection에 나타난 인삼 관련 연구논문의 수를 분석하였다. 인삼논문이 처음 나타난 1905년부터 2019년까지 전세계에서 총 8,090편의 SCI(E) 논문이 출판된 것으로 나타났다. 그중 최근 24년, 즉, 1996년부터 2019년까지의 논문이 7,385편이었다. 1980년 18편에 불과했던 인삼 논문이 1990년에는 53편, 2000년에는 97편, 2010년에는 369편, 2019년에는 678편으로 비약적으로 증가하였다. Web of Science의 core collection에 수재된 전체 학술논문에서 인삼 논문이 차지하는 비중도 1970년 0.0008%, 1980년 0.0044%, 1990년 0.101%, 2000년 0.0141%에서 2019년에는 0.0422%로 비약적으로 증가하였다. 지난 24년간 출판된 인삼 연구논문 중 원보(노트 포함)는 7,099편, 리뷰는 286편이었다. 총 78개국 3,286개 기관에서 연구가 이루어졌으며, 1,274개 학술잡지에 논문이 수재되었다. 전체 논문 중 중국에서 연구된 논문이 40.3%로 가장 높았고, 대한민국에서 연구된 논문이 34.7%로 한국과 중국의 연구가 전체의 75%를 차지하였다. 그 다음은 미국(6.0%), 일본(4.1%), 캐나다(2.9%) 순이었다. 2013년까지는 한국에서 연구된 논문이 가장 많았으나 2014년부터 중국에서 연구된 논문의 수가 더 많아졌다. 지난 24년간 인삼은 전세계에서 가장 많이 연구된 약용식물로 인삼 다음으로는 차(6,499편), 마늘(3,641편), 은행(2,590편), 생강(1,945편) 순이었다.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to describe the experience process of adolescents with hematologic malignancies. The question for the study was "What is the experience of adolescents with hematologic malignancies like?" Methods: The grounded theory methodology was used for this study. The data were collected through in-depth interview from 10 adolescents with hematologic malignancies. Data collection was done from January to June 2007. Theoretical sampling was used until the data reached saturation. Results: As a result of the analysis, "Reconstructing self-image from deviated and suspended life" was identified as the core category. And 11 subcategories were identified and they were integrated to the core category. 'Establishment of expanded and matured self' was identified as the consequence. Conclusion: The results of the study provide a frame for effective individualized nursing intervention strategies in helping adjustment of the adolescents with hematologic malignancies.

The aim of this study was to explore the grade 1-3 students' geometrical thinking level descriptors based on van Hiele level descriptors. The data were collected through collection of geometric curriculum materials such as indicators and learning standards in Basic Education Core Curriculum and mathematics textbook for grades 1-3. The findings were found that 1) Inconsistency between descriptors appeared on mathematics curriculum and Thai mathematics textbooks. 2) Using topics on textbooks as criterion for exploring 5 of 7 descriptors appeared on Thai mathematics textbook indicated geometrical thinking levels based on van Hiele's model merely level 0 (Visualization) across textbooks for grades 1-3.

The goal of this study is to improve the competitiveness of professional librarians in society. To this end, we analyzed domestic and international LIS curriculum, determined demand from field librarians through a survey, carried out job analysis by library types, and developed an operating model for LIS curriculum by synthesizing all of these results. Finally, we suggested a course of study for civil service librarians based on this model. As a result, the six required courses for civil service librarians are: Introduction to Library and Information Science, Information Organization, Information Services (Reference and Information Services), Library Management, Information Retrieval, and Field Work. The four core courses for the civil service concentration are: Collection Development, Information Sources by Subjects, Public Library Management, and Digital Libraries. Suggested electives best suited to this career path include Using Web Resources, Information Literacy, Information Services in Culturally Diverse Communities, Library Marketing, Libraries and Cultural Programs, Reading Guidance, Library History, Small Library Management, Studies in Library Buildings, Library Cooperation, Managing Digital Collections, and Information and Communication in a Digital Age.

Core support barrel (CSB) assembly is one of the most important reactor internals structures supporting and protecting the nuclear core during normal operation and faulted events. For Yonggwang 3 and 4 (YGN 3&4), the adequacy of the analytical response prediction of reactor internals for flow induced vibration was demonstrated through the comprehensive vibration assessment program (CVAP) performed during hot functional test. Besides, the vibration characteristics of the CSB of operating nuclear power plant can be examined via the excore neutron noise monitoring signal. In this paper data from YGN 4 analyses, CVAP, and neutron noise monitoring system are compared and evaluated. In general, the results are comparable each other and conservative enough to ensure sufficient design margin and structural integrity. Further investigations on the modelling and analyses procedure are recommended to utilize the experimental results to the maximum extent. And collection of the neutron noise data is desired to serve as a baseline information.
