헤어 디자이너들의 헤어컬러 및 헤어컬러 제품 선호도 조사 (The Research on the Hair Color and Products Preference for Hair Designers)

  • The hair designers are fashion leaders who affect hair color of people. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to give some tips to satisfy customers through surveying hair designers most like color and the criteria of products choice. To have practical result, I use survey method. I took 120 hair designers who work for Park Jun beauty salon for the survey data. Among these data, I used 103 for the final data of analysis. The results are following, male hair designers like natural brown and blue coral color for hair coating. In addition, they like black color for coloring. Female hair designers like much more various color, they like orange color for coating and natural brown for coloring. Hair designers much more satisfied for international brand goods in all criteria except price. All of hair designers have favorite goods for the quality and brand image. Therefore domestic brands need much more effort to improve quality and its brand image.

A Study on the Scythian Torque

  • The Scythians had a veritable passion for adornment, delighting in decorating themselves no less than their horses and belongings. Their love of jewellery was expressed at every turn. The most magnificent pieces naturally come from the royal tombs. In the area of the neck and chest the Scythian had a massive gold Torques, a symbol of power, made of gold, turquoise, cornelian coral and even amber. The entire surface of the torque, like that of many of the other artefacts, is decorated with depictions of animals. Scythian Torques are worn with the decorative terminals to the front. It was put a Torque on, grasped both terminals and placed the opening at the back of the neck. It is possible the Torque signified its wearer's religious leadership responsibilities. Scythian Torques were divided into several types according to the shape, Torque with Terminal style, Spiral style, Layers style, Crown style, Crescent-shaped pectoral style.

우로굴 생성물 미발달 특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on Underdevelopment Characteristics of the Wooro Cave Speleothem in Korea)

  • The Wooro cave speleothem displays comparatively very less developed characteristics due to its unactive fluviation, less soluable carbonate rocks, 3nd disconnected short voids. The Weoro cave consists of stalactite, stalagmite, flowstone, rimstone, and moonmilk, however, it is not exhibite soda straw, cave pearl, pisolites, curtain, drapery, cave flower, anthodite, cave coral, helictite. heligmite, boxwork, pendent and, cemented shield. The main cause of the underdevelopment speleothem of the Wooro cave probably less peneturated waters or less calcite compostion of the carbonate rocks.

Two New Spongia species (Dictyoceratida: Spongiidae) from Korea

  • Two new species of the family Spongiidae, Spongia (Heterofibria) cora/lina n. sp. and Spongia (Heterofibria) purpurea n. sp. are described. They were collected from Gageodo Island, Jeollanam-do, Korea. Spongia (H.) coral/ina n. sp. is closest to S. (H.) cristata Cook & Bergquist (2001) from New Zealand in skeletal features, but the new species differs from S. (H.) cristata by the arrangement of fibres and growth form. Spongia (H.) purpurea n. sp. closley resembles S. (H.) cristata, but the new species differs from New Zealand specimens by the arragement and thickness of pseudo-tertiary fibres.

Taxonomy of the Black Coral Family Antipathidae (Anthozoa: Antipatharia) from Korea

  • Six species, four genera belonging to two families of antipatharians have been reported in Korea. In the present study, the major specimens were collected from the coastal areas of Jejudo Island from 2005 to 2006, and the other ones which have been deposited in the Natural History Museum and the Department of Life Science, Ewha Womans University during the period from 1965 to 2004 were reexamined. As a result of this work, two species, Cirripathes spiralis and Stichopathes filiformis, are newly recorded to Korean antipatharian fauna.

  • A known monoalkyl glycerol ether, ($\pm$)-1-nonadecyloxy-2,3-propanediol (1) was isolated from the ethyl acetate extract of a soft coral Dendronephthya gigantea as a weakly cytotoxic constituent against four human cancer cell lines, A549, HT-29, HT-1080, and SNU-638. In addition, a known ceramide, (28,3R,4E,8E)-N-hexadecanoyl-2-amino-4,8-octadecadiene-1 ,3-diol (2), was also isolated as an inactive constituent. This is the first report on the isolation of the compounds 1 and 2 from the octocoral, Dendronephthya species.

  • 데이터로그는 논리형 선언형 프로그래밍 언어로, 특히 재귀적인(recursion) 알고리즘을 표현하기 편리한 언어이다. 대표적인 데이터로그 시스템으로는 CORAL, LogicBlox, XSB, Soufflé가 있다. 본논문에서는 이 네 가지 시스템의 특징을 설명하고, 세 가지 벤치마크, 이행적 폐쇄(Transitive closure), 동세대(same generation), 포인터 분석(pointer analysis)으로 데이터로그 시스템들의 재귀 질의(recursive query) 처리 성능을 비교하였다.

구글 TPU 보드 기반 인공지능 알고리즘 적용 및 분석에 대한 연구 (A Study on apply to AI algorithm using Google TPU Board)

  • 본 논문에서는 최근 소개된 구글 TPU 보드를 사용하여 AI 알고리듬을 적용하고 성능 분석을 통하여 TPU 를 통한 AI 에 기반한 영상처리 시스템의 구현 가능성을 검증 하고자 하였다. 구글 TPU 보드는 기계 학습에 특화된 Coral Dev 보드를 사용하였고. 수행하는 인공지능 알고리즘은 객체 인식 알고리즘인 SSD 알고리즘을 사용하였다. 이 후 동일한 알고리즘을 GPU 가 장착되어 있는 고성능 데스크탑과 처리속도를 비교하여, TPU 에 기반한 임베디드 AI 시스템의 활용 가능성을 검증 하였다.
