정수장 내 축열조 설치 원수열원 히트펌프의 성능분석 (Studies on Raw-Water Source Heat Pump Equipped with Thermal Storage Tank in Water Treatment Facility)

  • 정수장 내 축열조 설치 원수열원 히트펌프시스템의 동적 특성을 TRNSYS 프로그램을 이용하여 모델링 하였다. 원수열원 히트펌프의 실증평가를 위해 성남정수장 내 축열조가 설치된 히트펌프 실험결과를 이용하여 검증하였고, 본 설비는 2010년 11월부터 운전되고 있다. 모델링 결과 원수열원 히트펌프의 평균 COP는 냉 난방 시 각각 4.97과 3.17을 나타냈다. 축열조 용량은 $5m^3$에서 $20m^3$로 변화시킬 때, 축열조 용량 $10m^3$ 에서 가장 높은 COP와 소비전력이 나타났다. 설치지역으로 서울, 인천, 강릉, 그리고 광주를 고려하였고, 지역에 따른 COP와 소비전력은 큰 변화가 없었으나 소비전력량에 있어서 난방 시에 위도가 높은 서울의 소비전력량이 가장 높으며, 냉방 시에 가장 낮게 나타났다. 본 시스템을 동일한 용량의 물-공기방식의 히트펌프와 비교할 때 평균 25%정도 낮은 소비전력량을 나타냈다.

  • In this research the heat regenerative technology was employed to eliminate frosting on evaporator coil and improve COP of the heat pump system. This heat regenerative device(HRD) has very simple structure consisting a geared motor and a porous fiber belt passing through alternatively between cold and warm air duct. The laboratory test showed that the heat pump system with HRD yielded an impressive COP higher than 3.5 at the outside air temperature of $-7^{circ}C$ in heating mode.

2008년도 특발성 간질성 폐렴(IIP) 전국실태조사보고 (2008 National Survey of Idiopathic Interstitial Pneumonia in Korea)

  • 연구배경: 과거 국내외 특발성 간질성 폐렴(IIP)의 역학 조사는 제한적이었다. 간질성 폐질환에 대한 관심이 증가하고 있고 국내 IIP 환자들의 분포 및 역학에 대해서 알려진 바 없어 이를 알아보고자 하였다. 방 법: 2003년 1월 1일부터 2007년 12월 31일 사이에 진단된 환자들을 대상으로 하였으며, 진단은 ATS/ERS 기준에 따랐다. 결 과: 입력된 환자는 3,156명이었으나, 중복, 진단기준 미달, 부정확한 자료로 970명이 제외되어 총 2,186명을 분석하였다. 남녀 비는 약 2 : 1이었고 이들의 평균 나이는 65세(11-94세)였다. 빈도는 특발성 폐 섬유화증(IPF) 1,685명(77.1%), 비특이적 간질성 폐렴(NSIP) 261명(11.9%), 특발성 기질화 폐렴(COP) 186명(8.5%), 급성 간질성 폐렴(AIP) 24명(1.1%), 박리성 간질성 폐렴(DIP) 19명(0.9%), 호흡성 세기관지염-간질성 폐질환(RB-ILD) 9명(0.4%), 림프구성 간질성 폐렴(LIP) 2명(0.1%)였다. 평균 나이는 IPF 67.8세, COP 57.7세, NSIP 57.1세로 IPF 환자의 나이가 가장 많았다. 전체 환자를 대상으로 하였을 때, 운동 시 호흡곤란은 68.9%, 기침 60.8%, 객담 32.5%, 흉통 6.8%, 객혈 2.2%, 무증상 4.5%로 운동 시 호흡곤란의 증상이 가장 많았다. IPF의 3년 생존율은 62%였고, NSIP와 COP의 5년 생존율은 모두 85%였다. 결 론: 이 조사는 국내의 IIP 치료 및 진료 지침을 제작에 유용한 도움을 줄 것으로 판단된다.

선호손과 발에 따른 제자리 회전 후 안정성에 미치는 영향 (Effects on stability of handedness and footedness preference after rotation in place)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 좌우 방향의 회전 후 직립자세 시 압력중심과 근전도 분석을 토대로 회전선호도가 신체 안정성에 미치는 영향을 알아보고자 하였다. 연구의 대상은 오른쪽 손과 발의 편측선호도가 높은 대상자 16명으로 3가지 회전방향 조건(QS: 직립자세, LT: 왼쪽 10바퀴, RT: 오른쪽 10바퀴)을 수행하였다. 회전 후 직립자세 시 안정성을 평가하기 위하여 압력측정판과 근전도를 이용하여 결과를 도출하여 분석하였다. 연구결과로 모든 압력중심 변인은 QS보다 LT, RT가 크게 나타났지만, 회전방향에 따른 차이는 보이지 않았다. 근전도 결과는 좌우 비복근에서 회전방향에 따라 RT가 QS보다 근활성도가 크게 발생되었다. 결론적으로 대상자가 모두 오른쪽 측면선호도가 높았지만 압력중심에서는 회전선호도의 영향이 없었고, 비복근에서는 회전선호도의 영향이 나타났다.

An Analysis of X-Factor, Triple X-Factor, and the Center of Pressure (COP) according to the Feel of the Golf Driver Swing

  • Objective: The aim of this study was to analyze X-factor, triple X-factor, and the center of pressure (COP) according to the feel of golf driver swing. Method: For this research, 9 golfers from the Korea Professional Golfers' Association (age: $30.11{\pm}2.98yrs$, height: $178.00{\pm}8.42cm$, weight: $76.22{\pm}8.42kg$, experience: $10.06{\pm}3.11yrs$) were recruited to participate in the experiment. Twelve Motion Analysis Eagle-4 cameras were installed and an image analysis was conducted by using the NLT (non-linear transformation) method, and 2 units of Kistler type 5233A dynamometer were used to measure ground reaction force. The sampling ratio was set at 1000 Hz. The golfers each took 10 swings by using their own driver, and chose the best and worse feel from among 10 shots. A paired-sample t-test was used to analyze the results. Results: In regard to feel, no change in head speed, X-factor, and the triple X-factor's X-factor stretch, hip rise, and head swivel, was observed (p>.05). Regarding ground reaction force, a difference was observed between the top of the backswing (p<.05) and impact (p<.05) in the vertical force of the left foot. For COP, a difference was also observed between the mid backswing (p<.001), late backswing (p<.001), and top of the backswing (p<.05) for the right foot X-axis and Y-axis mid follow through (p<.01). Conclusion: It can be reasoned that, irrespective of feel, the head speed, X-factor and triple X-factor's X-factor stretch, hip rise and head swivel did not have an effect on drive distance for domestic golfers, and the vertical reaction force of the left foot and left-right movement span's pressure dispersal of the right foot had an increasing effect on drive distance.

The Effect of Thoracic Joint Mobilization on the Changes of the Thoracic Kyphosis Angle and Static and Dynamic Balance

  • The objective of this study was to evaluate the effects of thoracic mobilization (TM) on the angle of thoracic kyphosis, and static and dynamic balances by application period. The subjects of this study were 18 adult males and females (${\geq}20years\; old$) who had the angle of thoracic kyphosis equal to or higher than $40^{\circ}$. A pre-test was conducted for all subjects and TM was carried out. Data were collected before the intervention, 3 weeks after the intervention, and 6 weeks after the intervention. It was measured three times per measurement and mean values were used for the analysis. The results of this study showed that the angle of thoracic kyphosis significantly (P<.05) decreased after applying TM. However, the migration area ($mm^2$) of the center of pressure (COP) in the static balance did not vary significantly. In the case of the dynamic balance, when eyes were open, the migration area ($mm^2$) of the COP significantly (P<.05) decreased after 3 weeks. When eyes were open, the migration area ($mm^2$) of the COP significantly (P<.05) decreased after 3 weeks and 6 weeks. Therefore, an intervention for improving the human body alignment and balance should be applied for a long-term, rather than a short-term, in order to be effective.

HFC32 냉매를 사용한 지열원 히트펌프의 성능 특성 (Performance of the Geothermal Heat Pump Using HFC32 Refrigerant)

  • Air conditioners adopting high energy efficiency and low global warming potential (GWP) refrigerant are being developed globally. In case of commercial air conditioner, R32 with lower GWP than R410A is attracting industrial attentions. In this study, the performance of water-to-water geothermal heat pump adopting R32 is compared with that of the heat pump using R410A. By using R32 instead of R410A, heating capacity and COP in heating standard condition can be increased by 8.8% and 6.3% respectively. Also, cooling capacity and COP in cooling standard condition can be increased by 5.3% and 3.1% respectively by using R32. But in case of using R32, systemic improvements are required to decrease discharge temperature of compressor since discharge temperature rises abnormally in heating operations.

역류산화공정을 이용한 고농도 PCBs 함유 절연유의 처리 (Treatment of Highly Concentrated PCB Containing Insulating Oil by Countercurrent Oxidation Process)

  • 절연유에 높은 농도로 함유되어 있는 폴리염화바이페닐(PCB)을 처리하기 위해서 역류산화공정이 개발되었고 그 평가가 이루어졌다. 학산금속공업(주)로부터 구한 절연유 중의 PCBs의 함량은 1,512 ppm이었다. 역류산화공정은 산소의 흐름 속도와 반대되는 방향으로 자기 스스로 이동하는 자발적인 불꽃을 이용한다. 불꽃은 활성탄에 흡착되어 있는 PCBs를 제거함과 동시에 활성탄을 재생시킨다. 불꽃의 온도는 활성탄의 질량 손실과 역류산화공정 동안 배출되는 CO와 $CO_2$의 상대적인 비에 의해 결정하였고, 온도는 $650{\sim}850^{\circ}C$의 범위를 보였다. PCBs의 제거 효율은 무게비로 활성탄에 5%가 적재된 절연유를 1번의 역류산화공정을 거쳤을 때 99.99%이상을 나타내었다. 또한 60%의 절연유를 활성탄에 적재하여 3번의 연속적인 역류산화공정을 거쳤을 때 같은 제거 효율을 얻었다. 덧붙여서, 역류산화공정 동안 활성탄의 비표면적은 신탄의 수치와 비슷한 수준으로 회복되었다. 역류산화반응은 쉽고 경제적으로 절연유에 있는 고농도의 PCBs를 제거하는데 대단히 효과적이다는 것을 증명하였다.

증기분사를 적용한 고온수용 지열 히트펌프의 성능특성 (Performance of the Geothermal Heat Pump using Vapor Injection for Hot Water)

  • The purpose of this study is to evaluate the experimental performance characteristics of a water-to-water geothermal heat pump featuring a vapor refrigerant injection for the production of hot water. The performance of geothermal heat pump with a vapor injection was evaluated by comparing with that of a conventional geothermal heat pump without a vapor injection. For heating operation, the geothermal heat pump with a vapor injection is superior in COP and heating capacity. The vapor injection was more effective for supplying hot water while overloading. The vapor injection was effective for the improvement of the cooling capacity. However, the vapor injection was not effective for the increasing of COP according to the increased input of a compressor. The advantage of vapor injection in water-to-water geothermal heat pump become disappeared while cooling operation with lower part loading.

열펌프를 이용한 R22대체 혼합냉매의 성능에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Performance of HCFC22 and Alternative Refrigerants in Heat Pumps)

  • This paper is concerned about the performance of HCFC22 alternative refrigerants used in heat pumps and industrial chillers. A water-to-water breadboard heat pump with counter-current heat exchangers and a hermetic compressor was built to carry out the experiments with various refrigerants. For each test, more than 40 temperatures, 4 pressures, power input, mass flow rates of the heat transfer fluids were measured. Refrigerants tested were HCFC22, R290(Propane), an azeotrope of 45%Propane/55%R134a mixture, and a nonazeotropic mixture of Calor 50. All tests were conducted under ARI test A condition. It is found that the COP and capacity of propane were 18% and 2.5% higher than those of HCFC22 while the COP and capacity of 45%Propane/55%R134a mixture were 3.5% and 5.3% higher than those of HCFC22 respectively. Also the COP and capacity of Calor 50 were 17% and 7.8% higher than those of HCFC22. Compressor discharge temperatures of alternative refrigerants were roughly $35^{\circ}C$ lower than that of HCFC22 indicating that these refrigerants are good from the view point of compressor reliability. The charging amounts for the alternative refrigerants were reduced by 40-60% as compared to that of HCFC22. Overall, it can be said that hydrocarbon containing alternative refrigerants are excellent in thermodynamic performance but should be used with considerable care due to their flammability.
