The purpose of this study was to propose an education cooperation model for Human Resources Development (HRD) in Asia-Pacific region in response to environmental changes in business and industry. In order to carry out the model, this study reviewed the key features of human resources in the APEC which is a symbolic regional integration entity in Asia-Pacific region, shaped critical issues related with HRD in this region and then analyzed the trends of education cooperation projects conducted by the APEC in terms of topics, implementation methods and proposing economies of the projects. In result, this study proposed a triangular education cooperation model for HRD consisting of three elements: Voluntary Partnership, Information on Needs and Support for Cooperation. These interconnected and interdependent elements were designed to encourage actors to participate in education cooperative activities with their own willingness, produce and manage research-based information required for sustainable cooperation and support communication and connectivity among actors for effective activities. Also, this study expected that this model would make a commitment to narrowing educational divides, enhancing global-standard skills development, facilitating public and private partnership and organizing the foundation of future education for cultivating creative talents in the era of innovation for APEC members.

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to verify the effect of improving global health nursing competency, understanding of international development cooperation and satisfaction of education for nursing students through the course of global health in nursing. Methods: This study is a design of similar experiments before and after the non-equivalent control group to verify the difference in degree between global health nursing competency and understanding of international development cooperation by the course of global health in nursing of nursing students. Results: The degree of global health nursing competency of the experimental group that took the course of global health in nursing has significantly improved compared to the control group that did not participate, and a total of 30 detailed items showed significant differences. Conclusion: In this study, the global health nursing competency and understanding of international development cooperation have improved since nursing students took the course of global health in nursing. It suggests that the development and evaluation of nursing curriculum is necessary at a time when the global health nursing competency needs to be improved.

Fifteen years have passed since the enactment of the Industrial Technology Innovation Promotion Act, which promoted industry cooperation activities for universities. Therefore, the study analyzes the relationship between the university's industrial cooperation activities and the college graduates' starting salaries and provides policy suggestions on improving the direction of university-industry cooperation. The study used nine-year panel data from Graduates Occupational Mobility Survey (GOMS) to conduct an empirical analysis and found that starting salaries of college graduates were not significantly higher if the university only participated in basic industry cooperation activities. On the other hand, when the quality of university-industry cooperation activities was higher, such as job search support, the starting salary of college graduates was higher. The findings suggest that university-industry cooperation activities must focus on qualitative performances rather than quantitative approaches.

In This Study, New Product Development Activities, Innovation Activities, Technical Cooperation Activities may have an Impact on Competitive Advantage, Development Performance and Business Performance. The aim of Empirical Analyze is to identify the Structural Causal Relationship among the Activities and Performance Factors. We get the Results as Follows : New Product Development Activities have a Positive Impact on Competitive Advantage as well as the Development Performance. Technological Innovation Activities have a Positive Impact on Competitive Advantage, and do not have enough Impact on the Development Performance. Technical Cooperation Activities have a Positive Impact on the Development Performance, and do not have enough Impact on the Competitive Advantage, Competitive Advantage has a Positive Impact on the Development Performance as well as the Business Performance. Development Performance has a Positive Impact on the Business Performance.

Science and technology is the power of impelling the economic and social development. Promoting the international sci-tech communication and cooperation is one of the important ways of Pulling the economic development of Northeast Asia area. Sci-tech communication and cooperation between the government and the folk are two wings of international sci-tech communication and cooperation. Both are supplemented mutually and indispensable. In order to promote the economic and social development of Northeast Asia area and further strength, some suggestions are put forward, i.e. fully exerting university the main roles in the sci-tech communication and cooperation of Northeast Asia area and fully exerting Liaoning province the important roles in the sci-tech communication and cooperation of Northeast Asia area.

This study suggests about industrial-educational cooperation model through a case study by practical training by industrial-educational cooperation. Practical training of game development process is organized as industrial-educational cooperation pipe-line to represent whole process model, and step-cases about this are described. The purpose of this study is for learners to experience practical industry development process in a direct or indirect way. And above all, educators role in each stages of development is also important. This study would be used as a reference data about practical training and studies related with industrial-educational cooperation.

This study aims to establish a development strategy for higher education in Indonesia's marine and fisheries sector and to present a direction for international development cooperation through evaluating policies and current problems related to higher education in marine and fisheries sector. To achieve the goals of human resources development in marine and fisheries sector, Indonesian government needs to secure non-salary expenditures to strengthen support for areas directly related to the effects of education, such as improving educational facilities, expanding scholarships, and so on. Education institution needs to develop effective teaching methods and systematic practice-based curriculum that reflects the needs of the local fishermen community and fisheries industry. In addition, it is necessary to support the supply of manpower throughout the fisheries industry. Fisheries industry needs to stop relying on the government or education institutions to secure excellent human resources and actively participate and cooperate in the education field so that excellent human resources can flow into the industry. Based on this strategy, international development cooperation for human resources development in Indonesia's marine and fisheries sector should focus on qualitative rather than quantitative expansion of higher education institutions.

Purpose: This study aims to understand the potential of destinations, accessibility and accommodation services of Vietnam and India for the purpose of cooperation in tourism development. Research design, data and methodology: The data was mainly based on Tourism statistics at a glance of India Vietnam National Administration of Tourism, and Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Vietnam between the two countries. The qualitative research was supported by a case study methodology. Documentary sources were used as collection instruments, which allowed the characterisation of Vietnam - India as well as interviews applied within a focus group, supported by a semi-structured script. Result: The results of the study indicate that Vietnam - India understand the importance of cooperation to obtain synergies that ensure the development of tourism; Government of two countries recognize and identify a set of benefits associated with cooperation and have a collective awareness of some of the difficulties associated with it, but which do not necessarily prevent their willingness to cooperate. Conclusion: The strength of tourism development between the two countries is great, in which the relationship between "attractive force - propulsive force" is not commensurate with the tourism potential of Vietnam - India.

Rice (Oryza sativa L.) is one of major crops of Vietnam. Rice plant contains many secondary metabolites that are potent to inhibit growth of other plants. This study was carried out to find potential plant growth inhibitors from rice plants. Seven rice varieties were cultivated in the fields affiliated to Hiroshima University, Japan; Mature stems and leaves from each variety were collected, and then they were extracted with methanol, hexane, ethyl acetate, butanol, and water. Total phenolic content and total flavonoid content were the highest in ethyl acetate extract. DPPH antioxidant assay results showed that the ethyl acetate extract also had higher $IC_{50}$ value. Therefore, the ethyl acetate extracts were selected for laboratory bioassay. Results showed that the two-local variety Re nuoc and Nan chon inhibited the germination of radish and barnyard grass seedlings at the greatest levels, as compared to other cultivars. HPLC quantification indicated that the ethyl acetate extracts of Re nuoc and Nan chon rice plant parts consists of phenolic and flavonoids compounds which are potent as plant growth inhibitors. Further laboratory bioassay and field experimentation will be conducted to validate the laboratory bioassay findings.
