산업용 드론을 이용한 잣수확용 해머링 시스템의 구조해석 (Structural Analysis of Hammering System for Pine Cone Harvest using Industrial Drone)

  • In this paper, in order to secure the safety and productivity of pine cone harvest, modeling and structural analysis of the hammering system for pine cone harvest drone that can easily access pine cone of Pinus koraiensis and collide with them to harvest them was performed. It calculate the equivalent stress for the structure of the hammering system and the yield strength of the applied material by applying the shear force of the stalk at which the pine cone is separated from the branch, and it is to verify the safety of the structure and propose an optimal design through appropriate factor of safety and design change. The shear force of the stalk at which the pine cone was separated from the branch was 468 N, and was applied to both ends of the hammering system. The yield strength of SS400 steel used in the hammering system is 245 ㎫, and the design change and structural analysis were performed so that the Von Mises stress could be less than 122.5 ㎫ by applying the factor of safety of 2.0 or more. As a result of the structural analysis of the frist modeling, the Von Mises stress was 220.3 ㎫, the factor of safety was 1.12, and the stress was concentrated in the screw fastening holes. As a result of the design change of the screw fastening holes, the Von Mises stress was 169.4 ㎫, the factor of safety was 1.45, and the stress was concentrated on the side part. As a result of the design change by changing screw fastening holes and adding ribs, the Von Mises stress was 121.6 ㎫, and the factor of safety was 2.02. The safety of the hammering system was secured with an optimal design with little change in mass. There was no deformation or damage as a result of experimenting on pine cone harvest by manufacturing the hammering system with an optimal design.

일 종합병원 간호사의 자기효능감과 마음챙김이 직무만족도에 미치는 영향에 대한 융합연구 (A Convergence Study about Influences of Self-efficacy and Mindfulness on Job Satisfaction on General Hospital Nurses)

  • 본 연구는 직무만족도 증진을 위한 내적 강화 요인인 자기효능감과 마음챙김이 임상간호사의 직무만족도에 미치는 영향을 알아보고자 시행된 융합연구이다. 연구의 대상자는 D시에 소재하는 일 종합병원에 근무하는 71명의 임상간호사이다. 본 연구의 자료는 2015년 9월 20일부터 10월 4일 사이에 자가보고식 설문지를 통해 수집되었고, SPSS 18.0 프로그램을 사용하여 분석되었다. 연구결과 직무만족도는 자기효능감과 유의한 정적인 상관관계가 있었으나(r=.439, p<.001), 마음챙김과 직무만족도(r=-.067, p=.583), 자기효능감(r=-.142, p=.241) 간은 유의한 상관관계가 없는 것으로 나타났다. 자기효능감은 직무만족도에 유의하게 영향을 미치는 요인으로(${\beta}=.429,$ p<.001), 설명력은 25.9%이었다(F=5.772, p<.001). 마음챙김은 직무만족도에 유의한 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났다(${\beta}=-.014$, p=.844). 본 연구결과, 자기효능감은 임상간호사의 직무만족도를 향상시키기 위한 주요한 요소로 임상간호사의 직무만족도를 향상시키기 위해 자기효능감 증진에 초점을 둔 프로그램 개발과 이에 대한 검증이 필요하다.

Oleoylethanolamide Exhibits GPR119-Dependent Inhibition of Osteoclast Function and GPR119-Independent Promotion of Osteoclast Apoptosis

  • Oleoylethanolamide (OEA), a bioactive lipid in bone, is known as an endogenous ligand for G protein-coupled receptor 119 (GPR119). Here, we explored the effects of OEA on osteoclast differentiation, function, and survival. While OEA inhibits osteoclast resorptive function by disrupting actin cytoskeleton, it does not affect receptor activator of nuclear factor-κB ligand (RANKL)-induced osteoclast differentiation. OEA attenuates osteoclast spreading, blocks actin ring formation, and eventually impairs bone resorption. Mechanistically, OEA inhibits Rac activation in response to macrophage colony-stimulating factor (M-CSF), but not RANKL. Furthermore, the OEA-mediated cytoskeletal disorganization is abrogated by GPR119 knockdown using small hairpin RNA (shRNA), indicating that GPR119 is pivotal for osteoclast cytoskeletal organization. In addition, OEA induces apoptosis in both control and GPR119 shRNA-transduced osteoclasts, suggesting that GPR119 is not required for osteoclast apoptosis. Collectively, our findings reveal that OEA has inhibitory effects on osteoclast function and survival of mature osteoclasts via GPR119-dependent and GPR119-independent pathways, respectively.

Effects of Eicosapentaenoic Acid and Docosahexaenoic Acid on Mitochondrial DNA Replication and PGC-1α Gene Expression in C2C12 Muscle Cells

  • Mitochondrial biogenesis is a complex process requiring coordinated expression of nuclear and mitochondrial genomes. The peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor gamma co-activator 1-alpha (PGC-$1{\alpha}$) is a key regulator of mitochondrial biogenesis, and it controls mitochondrial DNA (mtDNA) replication within diverse tissues, including muscle tissue. The aim of this study was to investigate the effects of eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) on mtDNA copy number and PGC-$1{\alpha}$ promoter activity in $C_2C_{12}$ muscle cells. mtDNA copy number and mRNA levels of genes related to mitochondrial biogenesis such as PGC-$1{\alpha}$, nuclear respiratory factor 1 (NRF1) and mitochondrial transcription factor A (Tfam) were assayed by quantitative real-time PCR. The PGC-$1{\alpha}$ promoter from -970 to +412 bp was subcloned into the pGL3-basic vector, which includes a luciferase reporter gene. Both EPA and DHA significantly increased mtDNA copy number, dose and time dependently, and up-regulated mRNA levels of PGC-$1{\alpha}$, NRF1, and Tfam. Furthermore, EPA and DHA stimulated PGC-$1{\alpha}$ promoter activity in a dose-dependent manner. These results suggest that EPA and DHA may modulate mitochondrial biogenesis, which was partially associated with increased mtDNA replication and PGC-$1{\alpha}$ gene expression in $C_2C_{12}$ muscle cells.

융합적 측면에서의 재난간호대비·대응역량 측정도구 개발 (Development of the Disaster Nursing Preparedness·Response Competency(DNPRC) Scale in terms of Convergence)

  • 본 연구는 융합적 측면에서의 간호사의 재난에 대한 대비 대응역량을 측정하기 위한 도구를 개발하고 타당도와 신뢰도를 검증하기 위해 시행되었다. ICN Framework of the Disaster Nursing Competencies를 바탕으로하여 국내 문헌 고찰을 통해 문항을 구성하였으며, 간호사 291명을 대상으로 내용타당도, 구성타당도, 수렴타당도와 신뢰도를 검정하였다. 대비역량과 대응역량을 각각 탐색적 요인분석과 확인적 요인분석을 시행하였으며, 수렴타당도는 간호사 재난대비상태 측정도구(DPQ-N)와의 상관관계를 Pearson's correlation test로 분석하였다. 본 연구결과, 재난간호대비 대응역량 측정도구는 5점 Likert 척도로서, 대비역량 3개 영역의 16문항, 대응역량 4개 영역의 18문항의 총 34문항으로 구성되었으며, 신뢰도는 Cronbach's ${\alpha}=.96$이었다. 본 연구는 향후 간호사의 재난간호역량을 확인하고 관련요인을 파악하는 연구와, 간호사의 재난간호역량 향상을 위한 간호중재개발에 활용될 수 있을 것이다.

스마트 자동 소변처리기의 기능적 융복합요소와 사용범위의 사용성평가 (Functional Convergence factor and Usability Evaluation of The Range of Use of The Smart Automatic Urine Disposer)

  • 최근 일반인의 배뇨활동에 도움을 주는 장치가 개발되고 있으나, 사용자의 배뇨 습관과 기능, 사용자의 접근성 등을 고려한 제품은 부족하다. 본 연구에서는 배뇨활동에 도움을 주는 장치 중 자동 석션 기능 등 융, 복합 기능을 지니고 있는 스마트 자동 소변처리기를 기준으로 사용자의 만족도와 제품의 개선점을 찾고자 사용성평가를 실시하였다. 개발된 사용성평가 지표는 모두 21개이며, 안전성과 조작성, 만족도를 기준으로 개발하였다. 그 결과 기능적인 만족도는 높았으나, 디자인 측면에서는 손잡이 등의 개선해야 할 문제점이 제시되었다. 따라서 본 연구를 통해 자동 소변처리기의 성능측면의 만족도가 제품을 대표할 수 없으며, 제품의 문제점을 찾기 위한 사용성평가 지표 개발의 중요성을 알게 되었다.

임금근로자와 자영업자의 삶의 질 영향 요인에 대한 융합적 고찰 (Convergence Factors Affecting Quality of Life of Wage Worker and Self-employed)

  • 본 연구는 임금근로자와 자영업자의 일반적 특성과 신체적, 심리적 특성을 파악하고 이들의 삶의 질에 영향을 미치는 융합적 변수들의 차이를 확인하고자 시도되었다. 2013-2017년 국민건강영양조사 자료를 활용하였으며 임금근로자와 자영업자 16,128명을 대상으로 하였다. 회귀분석 결과 임금근로자의 삶의 질에 영향을 준 요인은 나이, 경제수준, 가구원 수, 배우자와 동거여부, 2주간 우울감, 주관적 건강이었고 그 설명력은 22%이었다(F=5.06, p<.001.). 자영업자의 삶의 질에 영향을 준 요인은 나이, 주당 점심식사 횟수, 음주빈도, 주당 근력운동 일 수, BMI, 주관적 체형인식, 스트레스, 주관적 건강이었고 이들의 설명력은 22.8%이었다(F=8.60, p<.001). 본 연구결과를 통하여 근로자의 삶의 질을 향상시키기 위한 간호중재를 개발하고자 할 때 일반적 특성, 즉 개인적 특성과 신체적, 심리적 요인에 대한 사전 사정이 이루어져야함을 알 수 있다.

Validation of the production quality and therapeutic efficacy of 47Sc through its anti-cancer effects against EGFR-targeted non-small cell lung cancer

  • Anti-cancer and therapeutic effects using therapeutic radioisotopes have been demonstrated by various studies, and it is well-known that therapeutic radioisotopes are useful in cancer treatment. Recently, one of the therapeutic radioisotopes, scandium is emerging as a radioisotope applicable to PET imaging (43Sc, 44Sc) and therapy (47Sc) in cancer theranostic approach. However, 47Sc has little known radiobiological and therapeutic efficacy compared to other therapeutic radioisotopes. Here, we investigated the quality and therapeutic efficacy of 47Sc radioisotope produced by our production/isolation technology at the research reactor 'HANARO' in KAERI (Korea Atomic Energy Research Institute). We showed that the therapeutic efficacy of 47Sc, produced by our production/isolation technology, effectively suppressed epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR)-targeted non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) cells. Consequently, these results suggest that the high quality of the produced 47Sc by our production/isolation technology enables the development of therapeutic strategies for cancer treatment and radiopharmaceuticals using 47Sc.

Effect of wild ginseng on the laying performance, egg quality, cytokine expression, ginsenoside concentration, and microflora quantity of laying hens

  • The experiment was carried out to study the effect of Korean wild ginseng adventitious root supplementation on the laying performance, egg quality, cytokine expression, ginsenoside concentration, and microflora quantity of Institut de selection Animale (ISA) brown laying hens at 24 weeks old. A total of 90 laying hens were subjected to a completely randomized design at three treatments, five repetitions and six laying hens per replicate. The experiments were divided by diets into the basic feed (CON), basic feed + 0.1% wild ginseng (WG1), and basic feed + 0.5% wild ginseng (WG2). The feeding trial was carried out over a duration of 12 weeks after an initial acclimation period of 2 weeks. Feeds and water were administered ad libitum in mash form, and light was available for 16 hours per day. At the end of study, henday egg production (HDEP), average egg weight (AEW), and egg mass (EM) were increased (p <0.05) in WG2 at week 12. Feed conversion ratio (FCR) was decreased (p < 0.05) in WG2 at week 12. The ginsenoside content in egg yolk was increased (p <0.05) in laying hens in the WG2 treatment at week 12. Relative expression of tumor necrosis factor alpha (TNF-α) was reduced (p < 0.05) in the WG supplemented diets at week 12. The fecal microflora quantity of Lactobacillus was increased (p < 0.05) in WG2 at week 8 to week 12, and Escherichia coli (E. coli) was significantly decreased (p < 0.05) in the WG2 at week 12. We concluded that the result observed in the HDEP, AEW, EM and FCR was due to an increase in ginsenoside content, leading to an improvement in the TNF-α, and fecal microflora quantity such as Lactobacillus and E. coli in the WG2 supplemented diets. We therefore recommend the use of WG at application level 0.5% per basal diet for optimum laying performance in layer hens.

Effective length factor for columns in braced frames considering axial forces on restraining members

  • The effective length factor is a familiar concept for practicing engineers and has long been an approach for column stability evaluations. Neglecting the effects of axial force in the restraining members, in the case of sway prevented frames, is one of the simplifying assumptions which the Alignment Charts, the conventional nomographs for K-Factor determination, are based on. A survey on the problem reveals that the K-Factor of the columns may be significantly affected when the differences in axial forces are taken into account. In this paper a new iterative approach, with high convergence rate, based on the general principles of structural mechanics is developed and the patterns for detection of the critical member are presented and discussed in details. Such facilities are not available in the previously presented methods. A constructive methodology is outlined and the usefulness of the proposed algorithm is illustrated by numerical examples.
