Purpose Recently, social interest in the convergence research is at its peak. However, contrary to the keen interest in convergence research, an infrastructure that makes it easier to recruit researchers from other fields is not yet well established, which is why researchers are having considerable difficulty in carrying out real convergence research. In this study, we implemented a researcher recommendation system that helps researchers who want to collaborate easily recruit researchers from other fields, and we expect it to serve as a springboard for growth in the convergence research field. Design/methodology/approach In this study, we implemented a system that recommends proper researchers when users enter keyword in the field of research that they want to collaborate using word embedding techniques, word2vec. In addition, we also implemented function of keyword suggestions by using keywords drawn from LDA Topicmodeling Algorithm. Finally, the UI of the researcher recommendation system was completed by utilizing the collaborative messenger Slack to facilitate immediate exchange of information with the recommended researchers and to accommodate various applications for collaboration. Findings In this study, we validated the completed researcher recommendation system by ensuring that the list of researchers recommended by entering a specific keyword is accurate and that words learned as a similar word with a particular researcher match the researcher's field of research. The results showed 85.89% accuracy in the former, and in the latter case, mostly, the words drawn as similar words were found to match the researcher's field of research, leading to excellent performance of the researcher recommendation system.

This study tries to address several problems embedded in the training of English teachers for gifted programs. With a critical analysis of current English Education and English teacher training, the researcher points out some possible problems in English Education and English teacher training in South Korea. The researcher also points out possible problems in teaching English for Gifted Children. Based on the given problems, the researcher accordingly suggests available solution to English Education for gifted Children, and also better ways of English teacher training for gifted programs. The researcher suggests bilingual, production-based and convergence-based English education for gifted children and those English teachers for gifted children.

The purpose of this study is to investigate empirically the factors affecting the research results of humanities and social sciences based convergence research. For this purpose, personal characteristics, research environment factor, researcher factor, research team factor, and support agency factor were set as influence factors of convergence research. Survey was conducted for researchers who are conducting research on humanities and social sciences based convergence research. As a result, it was found that factors influencing research on humanities and social sciences based convergence were researcher factor, supporting agency factor, research environment factor(major), and the influence of these factors on convergence research result was 51.6%. The implications of the research results are as follows: First, when performing the convergence research based on humanities and social science, individual factor of the researcher is more important than the factor of the research team in the performance of convergence research. Second, the support organization can improve the convergence research result through continuous management of convergence research results. Third, the research field (major) of the researcher also influences the performance of the convergence research. Therefore, the research field (major) should be considered important in the formation of the convergence research team.

This study was carried out to confirm a convergent research pattern and researchers' role in stem cell sector by social network analysis. Articles were extracted from 1996 to 2012 in PubMed, 515 authors of 270 embryonic stem cell and induced pluripotent stem cell articles and 1,515 authors of 580 adult stem cell and mesenchymal stem cell articles. Degree(D) and betweenness(B) centrality was measured and co-author network was generated for researcher's role. As a result, Core researcher and Intermediary researcher was identified in co-author network. Core researcher had high D. centrality, otherwise high B. centrality or not. Intermediary researcher for convergent research had high B. centrality and low D. centrality. Conclusively, co-author network will be used as objective data not only to find core researchers in subject area for improving achievement but also to select experts for research project evaluation.

In the rapidly changing information age, as the need for Informatization education increases, it is necessary to further activate Informatization education for adults. First, in terms of lifelong learning, this researcher suggested learner analysis, class subject materialization, and lecture environment confirmation as three things to be considered first before the course is opened. And as a matter to be continuously considered in terms of lifelong learning, this researcher considered that the connection with the next quarter class and the continuity of learning opportunities should be considered. This study attempted to reveal the differentiated characteristics of informatization education in terms of lifelong education by presenting and analyzing three actual class cases taught by this researcher at lifelong education institutions. Its characteristics included customized education in the information age, continuous upgrades of equipment, instructor education in response to the information age, and expansion of employment opportunities. Based on the case of information education classes, this study, which analyzed the differentiated characteristics of information education at the lifelong education level, can help improve the quality of instructors and self-development of learners in the actual educational environment. For this, continuous follow-up research will also be needed.

The core of the Fourth Industrial revolution, the topic of the 21st century, lies in the convergence of various technologies that are developing to the cutting edge. Therefore, convergence education is essential to solve problems from various perspectives. Above all, in order to solve the complex problem arising from the contact point between humans and technology in the future society, it was considered that insight through a humanities and artistic approach was necessary. Now, universities are trying to run a multidisciplinary comprehensive design to adapt to the new digital environment. In this study, an operation case of an engineering comprehensive design subject incorporating art operated by a researcher was described. The researcher presented an art convergence curriculum in a comprehensive design subject by applying 1. problem recognition and definition, 2. idea derivation and evaluation, 3. project development, 4. presentation, and demonstration process operation methods. Through this study, it is meaningful that it presented a method of operating art convergence in engineering comprehensive design subjects by allowing students to attempt an artistic aesthetic and emotional approach to project development.

The government is continuously expanding its national R&D investment to actively respond to the advent of the $4^{th}$ industrial revolution era and to develop the national economy. The R&D structure is likely to be liberalized as the paradigm shifts from the pursuit type R&D to the leading type R&D, and R&D capacity enhancement that focuses on researchers' creativity is emphasized. Such changes in R&D environment will increase the risk of security accidents such as leakage of research information. In addition, security policy for protection of research result should be the Researcher-Centric Security and security policy should be changed. This study explored transforming the research security system into the Researcher-Centric Security system so that researchers can voluntarily implement necessary security measures in the course of conducting research.

This paper deals with the longitudinal study on the supply & demand-side diversity of digital media service. The purpose of this study is to measure the diversity of contents supply and demand-side of digital media platform providers by longitudinal data and discuss the implication. In the approval and re-authorization of pay-TV broadcasters, there were attempts to measure diversity indicators as items to evaluate the publicness and public interest of broadcasting, but they are mainly limited to the method of measuring diversity in the short-term supply side. Thus researcher wants to confirm the evaluation of two aspects through this study. First, researcher proposes a demand-side measurement methodology that utilizes actual audience data from users, and second, a longitudinal evaluation methodology that evaluates long-term trends of diversity change. Researcher has secured the actual supply and demand data of the platform player and confirmed trends of longitudinal diversification indexing for 50 months from 2012 to 2017. Through this research, researcher expects that the supply and demand-side and the longitudinal diversity evaluation will be utilized in a balanced way of publicness and public interest evaluation of broadcasting.

Ultimately, this research will focus on the activity traits of future customers in the convergence age. To accomplish that, firstly, researcher develop measures for assessing the convergence level of digital devices and digital services. Next, this will investigate the behavioral traits of people who use specific devices or services on the internet or mobile networks. This study proposed five convergence measures each for devices and services. For digital devices, measures such as converged functions, accessibility to network, portability, immediate communicability, and expandibility of functions were utilized. For digital measures such as scope of users, newness, social network level, ease-of use on mobile networks, and expandibility of information were used. We believe that the research results can provide insights for those wishing to explore the convergence level of devices and services and those developing high-level converged devices and digital services.

This study suggests a new direction for designing art masks that receive attention as an area of creative expression for makeup by incorporating Neo-Pop art. After analyzing the characteristics of Neo-Pop from a theoretical perspective, the researcher produced four art masks based on each characteristic by utilizing the motif of the Japanese Pop artist Takashi Murakami. From this study, the researcher elicits that Neo-Pop has enough qualities to be utilized as a material for the art mask, new designs of the art mask may be suggested by applying the characteristics of Neo-Pop, and that the convergence of art and makeup highlights the possibility of convergence among the many other fields. Thus, it is expected that the art mask will be studied further through converging with a range of fields, and this study will be used as fundamental data for the development of the art mask design.
