The Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) sector is undergoing a fundamental transformation. Determinant factors in this transformation process are deregulations and technological advancements. From the value chain perspective, industry convergence plays the most crucial role in the transformation of the established telecommunications and media industries. The objective of this paper is to validate the impact of convergence on the business performance using empirical data. To identify the various effects driven by industry convergence, we analyzed the relationships between firm's degree of convergence and the business performance using regression analysis. From the empirical result with the 2002-2005 data, it was found that the convergence across ICT sectors improves the business performance measured by Tobin's q significantly and this is only a recent phenomenon. These results are consistent with the conjecture that higher degree of convergence is becoming more associated with higher market value.

최근 ICT와 의료 기술 및 서비스의 융합 강도가 높아지면서 ICT 기반 의료기기 및 장비, 소프트웨어, 서비스 개발 등의 부가가치가 높아지고 있다. 본 논문에서는 의료분야 데이터 백업 이슈 등에 대한 시장 환경 분석을 통한 사업 타당성 검토와 클라우드 서비스 비즈니스 거래 유형 분석을 통해 의료 분야의 새로운 융합 비즈니스 모델을 도출하고, 향후 고객 확보 및 시장 확대, 경쟁력 강화 등을 위한 사업화 활용 모델의 개발 방향을 제안한다. 본 연구는 클라우드 서비스의 새로운 융합 비스니스 모델을 설계 할 때 산업의 핵심 역량 강화 전략 및 제휴 연계 전략을 수립하는데 가이드라인을 제공해 줄 것이다.

Information technology (IT) convergence have been recognized one of the key drivers in the industry perspective. Especially, IT convergence have been one of the most important innovative way for defense sector. Korea government established IT convergence policy in 2008 and have been applying it to the core industry such as automotive, shipbuilding and defense industries. Recently, the creative vitamin project has been launched. Vitamin 'D' means the way to create the value of defense industry. This research analyzes and evaluates various IT convergence business models based on an operation of defense IT convergence center from 2011 to 2014, which is the industry IT convergence centers. Defense IT convergence business models can be classified into four types of mission area as follows : weapon acquisition and management, military intelligence, military power construction, and resources management. We define the concept of defense IT convergence and describe the framework and processes for applying IT to the defense sector. We analyzes and evaluates various business models designed through defense IT convergence framework and processes.

In this paper, we develop business models for the robot industry that facilitates to explore new business opportunities in the convergence age. Considering the trend of convergence society, we analyze the market drivers. Analyzing market dynamics and value chain, we design a set of the business model for the robot industry focused on u-health robots. In addition, we describe the evolution path of the proposed business model in terms of technology development and market. Finally, we develop a framework for evaluating the effectiveness of the business model.

본 연구는 컨버전스 유형별 비즈니스모델 개발을 위한 혁신도구 비교 연구이다. 먼저 문헌고찰을 통하여 컨버전스 유형, 비즈니스 모델, 혁신도구에 대한 기존연구를 학습하고. 이를 근거로 컨버전스 환경 하에서 혁신적 비즈니스모델을 개발하기 위해 혁신도구를 이용한 비즈니스모델 개발 개념인 컨버전스-비즈니스-혁신도구 큐브(CBI Cube) 모형을 개발하였다. 이 개념의 구체화를 위해 전문가집단을 대상으로 한 델파이(DelPhi)기법과 AHP기법을 적용하여 CBI Cube 모형의 구성인자를 도출하고 비즈니스모델 개발을 위한 혁신도구의 상대적 우선순위를 비교하였다. 본 연구를 통해 기존 비즈니스모델의 벤치마킹이나 단순 모방의 수준을 넘어 가치혁신형 비즈니스 모델의 개발이 가능하게 되어 혁신 제품 서비스의 개발 및 혁신 시장개발에 보다 쉽게 접근할 수 있게 될 것을 기대한다.

정부와 산업에서 융합 내지 융합 비즈니스에 대한 정책과 전략이 광범위하게 확산되고 있음에 반해 이를 성공적으로 구현하는데 필요한 이론적 기반과 효과적 방법론은 매우 부족한 상태이다. 특히, 융합 비즈니스 모델(BM)의 '이상적(ideal)유형' 즉, 이론적 유형에 대한 연구는 국내/외를 막론하고 아직까지 주목할 만한 결과가 없는 것으로 파악된다. 본 논문은 BM의 개념적 프레임워크로 '4W1H 모형'을 제안하고 이를 통해 융합 BM의 이론적 유형, BM 유형별 전략과 설계 수순 등을 정의할 수 있음을 보이기 위한 것이다. 4W1H 모형은 BM의 구성요소를 고객가치(why), 가치제안(what), 운영방식(how), 목표시장(whom), 공급역량(who) 등 5개로 정의한 것으로서 이를 통해 가치혁신형, 상품혁신형, 운영혁신형, 시장혁신형, 역량혁신형 등의 융합 BM 유형을 도출하였다. BM 구성요소와 유형(즉, 구조적 특성) 정의에 이어 BM 구성 요소간 상호작용(즉, 행위적 특성)에 대한 정의를 통해 BM이 기업전략과도 연계될 수 있음을 보였다.

In this paper we examined a novel extension of the convergence empirics for the maritime business cycle which considers structure breaks and/or changes. To provide theoretical justification, the convergence hypothesis uses the relaxed assumption to technology shocks. Based on the recent empirical results provided by Kim and Chang (2020), we consider nonlinear dynamics that capture the properties on structural changes in the equilibrium adjustment process. This approach bridges the gap between the theoretical framework and empirical specifications. In particular, we applied the convergence hypothesis to the multiple structure change model for the maritime business cycle. Our application to the maritime data showed support of the convergence hypothesis allowing multiple structure changes during the high volatile period and offers additional insight into the forecasting maritime business cycles.

본 논문에서는 KT 서비스 단말을 위한 문자 입력 방식 표준화 전략에 대해 기술한다. KT 표준 문자 입력 방식은 문자 입력을 필요로 하는 KT 서비스 단말기에 탑재되어, 고객의 서비스 이용 편의성 증대와 사업 효율성 증대를 위한 통일된 문자 입력 인터페이스로 사용된다. 대표적인 30 개의 문자 입력 방식에 대해, 문자 입력 방식의 우수성, KT 사업 추진 기여도, 지적재산권 확보 여부 등의 3 가지 평가 기준을 적용하여, KT 사업에 가장 적합한 문자 입력 방식을 KT 표준 문자 입력 방식으로 선정한다. 선정된 표준 문자 입력 방식은 KT 서비스 단말의 특성 및 단말 제조업체와의 관계 등을 고려하여, KT 주도형 단말에 대해 우선 적용할 계획이다.
