A The purpose of this study is to analyze the locational characteristics of the traditional market. In Seoul, small Conventional markets are directly connected with the living of citizens and becoming an important role for organization of the urban functions in the residential area. For this study, 32 Traditional Markets located on Seongbuk, Kangbuk and Dobong-Gu, were analyzed based on GIS, and within 500m related areas of market were categorized and researched by the level of urban infrastructure state. The contents of this study are composed of following three topics, partially theoretical review, general consideration and case studies. The study found that there is in need of improving urban infrastructure in conventional market areas, which has been identified during the research of urban infrastructure. Also, the study shows that it is necessary to develop comprehensive plans by timing and phase in order to improve commercial environment of the areas related while providing essential urban infrastructure. In addition, from the perspective of conventional market regeneration policy, physical conditions of the areas concerned should be focused on the perspective of developing plans and urban infrastructure elements.

This study investigates whether the Islamic Exchange-Traded Funds (ETFs) provide significant benefit to investors relative to conventional ETFs. Six pairs of Islamic and conventional ETFs with 10-year daily price data from 2010 to 2019 have been selected from major market indices like MSCI World Index, MSCI Emerging Markets, MyETF Dow Jones Islamic Market Malaysia, MSCI South East Asia and Wahed FTSE Shariah USA Index for this study. For ETFs that are launched after 2010, the price data from launch date to 2019 are used. Our results show: First, Islamic ETFs are more likely to trade at a premium rather than at a discount, implying the investors are willing to pay a premium. Second, it is also found that Islamic ETFs have a relatively shorter period of price deviation from the benchmark, implying more price stability. Third, conventional ETFs have higher return and lower tracking errors relative to Islamic ETFs. These new findings add to the stylized facts of Islamic ETFs in the extant literature for investors, plan sponsors and regulators as to the differences between the ETFs. As policy suggestion, asset management companies can design new investment products to bridge the gap between conventional and Islamic finance.

A decade has passed since the first generation of Genesis was launched in the U.S. with the plaque of Hyundai-Genesis. Genesis Motors was separated from Hyundai Motor in 2015, and has struggled to have the Genesis stand alone in the competitive U.S. luxury sedan market. The present case study aims to find challenges facing the Genesis, which Hyundai has positioned as a luxury sedan competing against conventional luxury brands such as BMW, Mercedes-Benz, and Lexus; evaluate Genesis Motors' strategic response to meet these challenges; and explore an alternative positioning strategy. Specifically, the present case study addresses barriers against the Genesis' market performance, by focusing on the obstacles rooted in the consumer perception as well as the obstacles that stem from the change in the U.S. automobile industry and the nascent network of the Genesis dealership. Genesis Motors' current strategies are evaluated, and an alternative strategy is explored that is largely based on the American consumers' perceptions of the Genesis vis-a-vis conventional luxury brands and outperforming midsize brands.

Seawater desalination market after global economic crisis has been stalled due to the market uncertainties and decreased demand in desalination. It is important to review the status of the market and to estimate the appropriate share of Forward osmosis-Reverse Osmosis (FO-RO) hybrid desalination technology by figuring out the outlook of the desalination market. Main part of the desalination market will still be MENA (Middle East and North Africa) in the near future due to the fast population increase and high dependency of fossil fuel in the region. The market for FO-RO hybrid technology, however, might be smaller than the conventional SWRO desalination market anyway because of aesthetic issues from using wastewater as raw water and higher costs associated with capex. Therefore, it is essential to improve FO membrane performance and system operation technologies in order to make the hybrid technology attractive compared to the conventional SWRO technology.

This study was designed for the standard formulation of SULNONGTANG cooking method, I have performed a sensory evaluation and physical properties of conventional SULNONGTANG and Market SULNONGTANG. The results were as follows : 1. In case of conventional method, in term of the addition of ingredients, to maintain optimal nutrition and to achieve good appearance and taste from sliced meat (Pyoun Yuk) of the beef's head, brisket, tongue ana breast, the followings are recommended cooking methods 1) For beef's leg bones, lead, knee bones and tripe, it is reasonable to addition from the beginning and to boil them for 12~18 hours. 2) Sliced meat from the head should be prepared after 4 hours boiling. 3) Brisket, tongue and breast should be added 2 hours before cooking is finished. 2. In Market SULNONGTANG, taste was poorer than that of conventional SULNONGTANG. When the head is added to Market SULNONGTANG, taste was more desirable than those added hooves or knee bones.

In the uniform price electricity market or bilateral electricity market, the energy transactions in which the network is not considered and ISO's system operation costs which ISO try to minimize are settled separately. In this paper, transmission loss, one of the ISO's system operation costs, was dealt. The conventional marginal loss allocation method gives economic signals but three aspects have to be considered; excessiveness, arbitrariness and cross-subsidy. In this paper, marginal loss compensation efficiency method was suggested which consider those aspects of the conventional marginal loss allocation method. Also the characteristics of the marginal loss compensation efficiency were analyzed in the appendixes. And simple 2-bus system and IEEE 14 bus system were used to explain these characteristics.

Asian countries, ranging from China and Japan to Korea and Taiwan, differ in their industrial development stages to support the aerospace industry, and market access conditions. Despite these differences, all these countries target the aerospace industry as one of their future industries. The phenomenon challenges the conventional view that entry into the aerospace sector follows a gradual path from simple hanger repairs to license production, and to international collaboration. This paper reviews current status of the Asian aerospace with a dichotomy of the conventional promotion and Fast-Track promotion strategies. Analysis revealed that multiple entry points, in terms of technological level, exist in the aerospace industry, while the conventional thinking still holds validity. Then the paper presents potential obstacles and challenges these Asian countries would face in the promotion of the industry.

This study was conducted to investigate the characteristics of strains which were isolated from market milk treated with ESL(extended shelf life) and conventional system, and to compare the microbiological quality of ESL milk with conventional milk. In order to characterize the isolated strains, purification, Gram staining, spore staining, catalase, oxidase, motility test, and identification by means of automatic identificator were performed. The results obtained are as follows: total 364 selected strains were analyzed in this study. Depending upon the isolated source, the number of strains from conventional milk was found to be Higher than ESL-milk. By means of grouping of total strains, Bacillus ssp. and Staphylococcus ssp. showed to be predominant. But most of strains were distributed with various groups except Lactobacillus ssp. When the isolates were compared with milk process methods, Enterococcus ssp. was detected much on market milk treated with LTLT pasteurization. Also, Pseudomonas ssp. was detected much on conventional milk treated with UHT pasteurization. By comparison with genus groups depending upon storage temperature of market milk, the higher milk storage temperature increased, the most frequency detected Bacillus ssp. increased. Also, Pseudomonas ssp. was detected most frequently at 10$^{\circ}C$ storage condition. Generally this genus derived from post-contamination during milk processing and related to the quality of market milk during chilled system. In conclusion, it was shown that ESL system reduced post-contamination during milk process, following the improvement of product quality and life cycle during the distribution of market milk.

HTS (High Temperature Superconducting) Transformer has the several useful characteristics in the viewpoints of technical and economical. Especially, an HTS transformer replaces the copper wire coils in a conventional transformer with lower loss HTS wire. In addition, inexpensive, environmentally benign liquid nitrogen replaces the conventional oil as the electrical insulation (dielectric) and provides the necessary cooling for the HTS transformer Therefore, the Life-cycle cost of an HTS transformer is much more attractive than conventional because it is more energy efficient, lighter in weight, smaller in size, and environmentally compliant. HTS transformer can be the best way to replace with conventional transformer in the future. In these days, companies world-wide have conducted researches on HTS transformer. A development project for a 154kV HTS transformer is proceeding at a research center and university in Korea. In this paper, we investigate the expected price of HTS transformer to have a merit in viewpoint of economic aspect. First, life-cycle cost of conventional transformer is calculated and based on this, the expected price of HTS transformer is evaluated. which HTS transformer is competitive against conventional transformer.
