A Study on the Establishment of Metaverse-based Police Education and Training Model (메타버스 기반 경찰 교육훈련모델 구축 방안에 관한 연구)

  • Purpose: This study proposes a Metaverse-based police education and training model that can efficiently improve the performance of various police activities according to changes in the environment of the times. Method: The structure of this system can generate Avatar Controller expressed using HMD and haptic technology, access the Network Interface, and educate and train individually or on a team basis through the command control module, education and training content module, and analysis module. Result: In the proposed model of this study, the command and control module was incorporated into individual or team-based education and training, enabling organic collaborative training among team members by monitoring the overall situation of terrorism or crime in real time. Conclusion: Metaverses-based individual or team-based police education and training can provide a more efficient and safe education and training environment based on immersion, interaction, and rapid judgment in various situations.

  • This paper proposes a cooling system using self tuning PI controller for improving the output of BIPV module. The temperature characteristics in regard to improving the output of BIPV system has rarely been studied up to now but some researchers only presented the method using a ventilator. The cooling system efficiency of BIPV module applied to a ventilator mainly depends on the weather such as wind and insolation etc. Because the cooling system of BIPV module using a ventilator is so sensitive, that is being set off by wind speed at all time but is unable to operate in the nominal operating cell temperature(NOCT) which is able to make the maximum output. The paper proposes the cooling system using thermoelectron by self tuning PI controller so as to solve such problems. The thermoelectron control of self tuning PI controller can be controlled independently in the outside environment because that is performed by micro-controller. The temperature control of thermoelectron, also, can be operated around NOCT through algorism of the temperature control. Therefore, outputs of the whole system increase and the efficiency rises. The paper demonstrates the validity of proposed method by comparing the data obtained through a experiment of the cooling method of BIPV using a ventilator and proposed thermoelectron

  • In a power plant, the utility operates controllers include safety program that has performed several stages verification to prevent accidents in preparation for accidents, or to stably operate in accident. This paper describes the virtualization technology so that the verified binary operating system and application program can operate on the controller processor used in the power plant safety control facility. The technology applied to this virtualization processor uses commercial tools to implement the essential components for the operation of the safety-grade controller processor module, such as command interpreters and analyzers, and the virtualization platform was developed in a Linux-based operating system using the Imperas Tool. In addition, it was checked whether the implemented virtual processor module can normally interpret and execute binary-type instructions.

  • Purpose: Sequence control is widely used by being applied to manufacturing, distribution, construction, and automation in the medical industry. With the development of the fourth industry, artificial intelligence convergence technology in the control field is becoming an important factor in the industry. In particular, it is required to evaluate the safety and innovation of facilities where microprocessors and artificial intelligence are fused to existing systems and develop reliable equipment, so it is intended to develop equipment for educational purposes and drive the development of the field. Method: The self-developed all-in-one artificial intelligence controller module is a device that combines artificial intelligence capabilities with existing sequence and PLC control circuits. As the performance evaluation items of this equipment, the recognition ability of motion, voice, text, color, etc. and the stability and reliability of the circuit were evaluated. Conclusion: After designing the sequence and PLC circuit, the performance evaluation items of the integrated integrated artificial intelligence controller module were all satisfied, and there was no problem in the safety and reliability of the circuit.

  • Recently As the performance of the personal computer has been improving rapidly lots of research for the pc-based numerical computer actively progress in an easy repair maintenance and improving the performance with less cost. This paper presents the design using complex programmable logic device(CPLD). The CPU of Motion Controller that function as the real time control of the independent multi-axis motion the error-detect module and external I/O control made use of 80C196KC, In this paper The PC-NC effectively distributed to the load of NCK(numerical computer kernel) and have the advantage of high speed and precision.

  • In this paper, the vibration control of CPM(Controlled-Permanent Magnet) type magnetic levitation system of 1ton is designed and implemented. The target to be controlled has 8 magnets and 4 corners of the maglev module are levitated using a digital feedback controller. The designed controller includes PID type gap controller and speed observer. Its performance is validated by some kinds of experiments.

  • In this study, We developed the microprocessor based controller for Auto Section Switch(ASS). This is installed at consumer's medium-high voltage(load capacity is below 4,000 kVA) switchgear. This function is cooperate with protection device of fault section and automatically dividing the section. And It is designed by Air putter type extinction structure and adopt the mechanism and breaking part module of existing Load Breaker Switch. In addition, We successfully conducted the operation test and checked main function of proto-type.

  • This paper aims at investigating the characteristics of the operating modes of two-module Thyristor Controlled Series Compensator (TCSC) in a power transmission system. The operating modes of two-module TCSC are defined, analyzed and compared to those of single-module TCSC are defined, analyzed and compared to those of single-module TCSC. The load flow program, the stability calculation program and Electro Magnetic Transient Program (EMTP) simulation of a TCSC power transmission system are developed for the performance evaluation of two-module TCSC as a power flow controller. In the process of the simulation study, the potential problem areas of the TCSC power transmission system are identified.

  • Recently, a variety of intelligent robots are developed for the personal purpose beyond the industrial application. These intelligent robots have ranges of sensors, actuators, and control algorithms to their application. In this paper we propose a reconfigurable robot controller, $SR^2$c (The SOPC-based Reconfigurable Robot Controller), based on SOPC (System on a Programmable Chip), that can be reconfigurable easily by software. The proposed robot controller contains not only a processing module but also robot-specific IP's. To show a feasibility of the proposed robot controller, a small entertainment robot, Wizard-4 is implemented with a single chip controller as proposed in this paper.

  • This paper presents steering controller for unintended lane departure avoidance under crosswind using vehicle lateral disturbance estimation. Vehicles exposed to crosswind are more likely to deviate from lane, which can lead to accidents. To prevent this, a lateral disturbance estimator and steering controller for compensating disturbance have been proposed. The disturbance affecting lateral motion of the vehicle is estimated using Kalman filter, which is on the basis of the 2-DOF bicycle model and Electric Power Steering (EPS) module. A sliding mode controller is designed to avoid unintended the lane departure using the estimated disturbance. The controller is based on the 2-DOF bicycle model and the vision-based error dynamic model. A torque controller is used to provide appropriate assist torque to driver. The performance of proposed estimator and controller is evaluated via computer simulation using Matlab/Simulink.
