병원조직 구성원의 직장애착에 영향을 미치는 요인 (Factors Affecting on Organizational Commitment of Hospital Employees)

  • This study was carried out to find out the factors affecting on organizational commitment of hospital employees. For the purpose, the questionnaire-based research was done with 1280 hospital employees who were working in 2 university hospitals and 4 general hospitals located in Taegu City and Kyungpook Province from November 20, 1997 to December 22, 1997. The results of the study were summarized as follows. There were significant correlations among environmental variables, psychological variables, structural variables, vertical conflict, horizontal conflict, job satisfaction, and organizational commitment. By path analysis, variables such as pay, work involvement, work definiteness, met expectations, positive affectivity, distributive justice, job security, expectations before entering a hospital had significant positive effect on job satisfaction in order of size, while, vertical conflict, job opportunity, and horizontal conflict had significant positive effect on job satisfaction in order of size, while, vertical conflict, job opportunity, and horizontal conflict had signifecant negative effect in order of size. Variables such as job satisfaction, job security, work involvement, pay, vertical conflict, met expectations, distributive justice, positive affectivity, work unit control, job autonomy, and job routinization had significant positive direct effect on organizational commitment in order of size, while, job opportunity, job hazards and resource inadequacy had significant negative direct effects in order of size. It was found that the following variables, listed in order of size, had significant total effects on organizational commitment : job satisfaction, job security, job opportunity, work involvement, pay, met expectations, distributive justice, positive affectivity, job hazards, and work unit control. In considering abovc findings, it is recommended that programs for job satisfaction promotion, job security, decrease of intent to leave, work involvement promotion, adequate pay, met expectations, distributive justice, positive affectivity promotion, job hazards decrease, and work unit control grant should be implemented to increase organizational commitment.

  • Purpose: This study was conducted to compare self-care behaviors and self-care behavior related factors for groups of patients with good, inadequate and poor glycemic control. The study was based on variables of the Theory of Planned Behavior by Ajzen, habit and family support. (1991). Methods: Participants were 134 patients with type 2 diabetes (good glycemic control group: 57, inadequate glycemic control group: 40, poor glycemic control group: 37). Self-care behaviors, intention to self-care behavior and self-care behavior related variables (attitude, subjective norms, perceived behavior control, habits and family support) were measured. Data were collected from August 12 to September 25, 2014 and were analyzed using $x^2$-test, Fisher's exact test, ANCOVA, and logistic regression with SPSS/WIN 21.0. Results: Among the three glycemic groups, there were significant differences in self-care behavior, subjective norms, perceived behavior control, family support, and habits. Multinomial logistic regression showed that poor blood glucose probability was associated with duration of diabetes mellitus, method of DM therapy, perceived behavior control and habits. Conclusion: The study findings reveal the important role of self-care behavior, subjective norms, perceived behavior control, family support, and habits in blood glucose control in adults with type 2 diabetes.

고혈압 환자의 치료지시 이행에 관한 연구 (A Study on Hypertensive Patients Compliance to Medical Recommendations)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the compliance behavior of hypertensive patients in light of their health belief model that explains an individual's compliance with health maintenance or getting well. Although there are many effective regimens and treatments for hypertension nowadays. the most important point to be taken to consideration in their behavioral aspect is their compliance with regard to the control of body weight. eating habits as to salt and cholesterol intake. stresses. activity patterns and smoking as related to their life style. The important reasons for the failure in the control of hypertensive patients are the complexity of regimens to be complied to. irregular medication and the life long restrictions in their own life style. The compliance of patients to medical regimens and rocommendations or failure to do so is an essential factor. Accordingly. the degree of the patient's compliance is an important determinant as to the success or failure of hypertension control. The subjects for this study were 187 hypertensive patients selected from admitted and out patients of the medical department at seven University Hospitals in Seoul. Data was collected from Dec. 1, 1979 to Feb. 15, 1980 using the questionaire method and was analysed by the use of means. standard deviations, coefficient of correlations, analysis of variance and multiple regression analysis. The results obtained are as follows A. Of the seven independent variables in light of health belief model. benefit. barrier and severity are closely related to patient's compliance behavior. Therefore these variables could be used as determinants to predict and modify the hypertensive behavior. 1. Benefit is the most important and significant of the variables for explaining the dependent variables. It accounts for the highest variance of patient's compliance. (23.62%) 2. Then taking the former together with barrier. the variance of compliance showed on increase. (26.59%) 3. And with the addition of severity to the first two. the variance of compliance was also increased. (28.l2 %) B. Except for susceptibility all the independent variables such as severity. benefit, knowledge. motivation and barrier are correlated to dependent variable compliance. C. Sex. marital status and religion appeared to have significant influence on the dependent variables. Therefore one could conclude that the more the patients are aware that hypertension is a threat to health. the more they understand the benefit of taking actions to prevent such a threat. and the less they perceive any barrier when taking action. the more compliant they become in following medical regimens and recommendations. Age. marital status and religion played a significant influence to their compliance. Accordingly. the selected structural variables and demographic variables which have influenced sick role behavior of the hypertensive patient must be integrated to teaching and counselling programs for better hypertension control.

상대 이득 행렬을 이용한 뉴로-퍼지 제어기의 설계 (Design of Neuro-Fuzzy Controller using Relative Gain Matrix)

  • 일반적으로 다변수 계통에 대한 퍼지 제어에서 퍼지 규칙을 얻기가 어려워 입출력 사이의 페어링을 이용한 독립적인 단일 입력 단일 출력의 병렬 구조를 이용한다. 그러나, 결합되지 않은 입출력 변수간의 상호작용으로 제어 성능에 나쁜 영향을 준다. 특히, 강한 결합 특성을 가진 계통의 경우 제어 성능을 아주 저하시킨다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 상호작용에 의한 영향을 보상해주기 위해 상대 이득 행렬을 이용한 신경 회로망을 도입하였다 제안한 뉴로 퍼지 제어기는 역전파 알고리즘으로 학습되며 강호작용에 대한 결합강도를 자동으로 조정하여준다. 제안한 뉴로 퍼지 제어기의 성능을 200MW급 보일러 계통에 대한 컴퓨터 모의실험을 통해 입증하였다.

교정치료환자의 구강건강관리프로그램 적용에 따른 구강건강지수 비교 (A comparative study on oral health index after oral health care program for orthodontic patients)

  • Objectives: The objective of the study was to investigate the oral health index in orthodontic patients by dividing the patients into two groups; the OHCP (Oral Health Care Program)group and the control group. Methods: The subjects in Busan were divided into two groups, including the OHCP group (205 patients) and the control group (119 patients), during orthodontic treatment that took place from October 2015 to October 2016. The oral health index was subdivided into three groups according to the oral interest level of the OHCP and control groups. The oral health index used was Simplified Oral Hygiene Index (S-OHI) and Community Periodontal Index of Treatment Needs (CPITN). Results: When the degree of oral interest was compared, he OHCP group before application and after application saw a significant difference (p<0.001) in all the variables except the S-DI. Meanwhile, the control group saw no significant difference in most variables. after OHCP application, The OHCP group was significant differences in all variables (p<0.001), and the control group was no significant difference in most variables. Conclusions: Oral hygiene management for orthodontic patients should be systematically and professionally programmed differently from that for general dental treatment patients. As such, dental hygienists should take this into consideration and proactively develop and research programs similar to OHCP for orthodontic patients.

Factors affecting home cooking behavior of women with elementary school children applying the theory of planned behavior

  • BACKGROUND/OBJECTIVES: The objective of this study was to examine factors affecting cooking behavior at home. We examined components of the theory of planned behavior, perception of cooking skills, and socio-demographic variables affecting cooking behavior at home. SUBJECTS/METHODS: The study sample included 425 women raising elementary school children living in South Korea. They responded to an online structured questionnaire. The variables affecting cooking behavior at home were assessed using hierarchical regression analysis. RESULTS: The frequency of cooking behavior at home was 14.1 meals per week. Most respondents showed an intention regarding cooking behavior. The average score for attitude toward cooking behavior at home was 15.1 points (scale of 1 to 25). Attitude and cooking behavior showed a significant positive correlation (P < 0.01, r = 0.22). The subjective norm was 14.6 points (scale of 1 to 25). The subjective norm showed a significant correlation with cooking behavior (P < 0.01, r = 0.18). The control belief was 2.8 points (scale of 1 to 5). The control belief and cooking behavior showed a significant correlation in all questions (P < 0.01, r = 0.25). The subjects were significant confident about their cooking skills, except for Kimchi. Perception of cooking skills showed a significant correlation with all questions concerning cooking behavior (P < 0.01, r = 0.30). Significant variables for predicting intention regarding cooking behavior were perception of cooking skills, employment status, income, and attitude. Significant variables for predicting cooking behavior were employment status, income, control belief, number of children, and behavioral intention. CONCLUSIONS: In order to provide nutrition education to increase cooking behavior at home, it is necessary to have a positive attitude toward cooking behavior, increase control belief, and improve confidence related to cooking skills. Moreover, differentiated education based on the employment status of women is needed.

한국도시 남편이 지각한 부부권력 과정에 관한 연구-권력자원과 권력 과정을 중심으 로- (A Study on the Marital Power processes Perceived by Korean Urban Husbands)

  • The Purpose of this study is to explain marital power processes perceived by Korean urban husbands. To do the task, this study examined the possibility of classifying the power processes and the effect of resources by using resource theory and normative resource theory . The main results were as follows. 1) Power precesses are classified into five factors, such as, 'induction'. 'isolation' quarreling' 'carelessness' and 'withdrawal of love'. Induction, which makes control attempts by using verbal, indirect communication strategies, is proved to be the most factor. 2) Power resource variables are proved to be significant in their effects on the power processes. That is, objective are proved to be significant in their effects on the power processes. That is , objective resources are influencing on 'induction' and 'isolation' behavior and subjective variables are influencing on the other control attempts, Thus, it is found that including subjective variables as well as objective ones is very important. Above all, that the concept of the centrality of patriarchy is supported to be an appropriate concept for the study on the marital power processes i8s a fruitful result in research. But the variances explained by resource variables are relatively small. It is suggested. therefore, further study should include more significant subjective resource variables.

  • The purpose of this study is to descriptively reveal the demographic and business profile and personal-entrepreneurial characteristics in Manado, the capital of North Sulawesi, and secondly to associate these profiles and characters to their business progress. A sample size of 21 respondents was drawn - selected from those who warmly welcomed the interviewers for an open-ended structured questionnaire. SPSS 24 has been employed to descriptively reveal the sample distribution according to demographic factors and business entities and to determine the dominant factors affecting the progress of the business by testing the hypothesis on the association of variables under study using specified statistical analytical tools, such as regression analysis, especially stepwise regression formula, between specified dependent variables and independent variables and /or between all variables. The stepwise regression analysis has enabled the researcher to determine which variables are the most important reflecting the personal characteristics theorized as "locus of control": self-efficacy, needs for achievement, personal traits, and barriers to business progress The analysis reveals that the progress of business does have an association and is dependent on the source of capital and education, needs for achievement and locus of control.

Regression analysis and recursive identification of the regression model with unknown operational parameter variables, and its application to sequential design

  • This paper offers the theory and method for regression analysis of the regression model with operational parameter variables based on the fundamentals of mathematical statistics. Regression coefficients are usually constants related to the problem of regression analysis. This paper considers that regression coefficients are not constants but the functions of some operational parameter variables. This is a kind of method of two-step fitting regression model. The second part of this paper considers the experimental step numbers as recursive variables, the recursive identification with unknown operational parameter variables, which includes two recursive variables, is deduced. Then the optimization and the recursive identification are combined to obtain the sequential experiment optimum design with operational parameter variables. This paper also offers a fast recursive algorithm for a large number of sequential experiments.

  • This paper presents the choice of appropriate sets of input variables for large-scale linear multivariable systems. It is shown that the selection of a good set of input variables for control may become important when both strong and weak input variables are available. The transmission of information from the inputs to the outputs is investigated and appropriate scaling procedures to derive a scaled input matrix are proposed. Singular value decomposition methods facilitate the quantification of the systems excitation stemming from the various input variables, and thus the selection of an appropriately strong and orthogonal set of input variables. The need for and the implementation and benefits of reducing the number of input variables are illustrated by a large-scale steam generator model of a real process.
