  • This paper deals with the dynamic performance of Cheju-Haenam HVDC system. The purpose of the simulation study is to verify the control characteristics of the HDVC and to analyse the dynamic performances. Especially because the HVDC system consists of analogue controller and digital controller the simulation is achieved with specification model considered nonlinear function.   • $\textbullet$ A noval haptic mouse system is developed for human computer interface. $\textbullet$ Five bar mechanism is adapted for 2 dof force feedback with virtual environment. $\textbullet$ Double prismatic joint type mechanism is adapted to reflect 1 dof grabbing force feedback. $\textbullet$ Cable driven mechansim is used for actuation to reduce backlash and endow backdrivability. $\textbullet$ Virtual wall perception experiment is conducted to obtain force specification for haptic mouse. $\textbullet$ Average mouse workspace is measured using magnetic position tracker.

Being an Application Layer Protocol for Communication Interfaced with the Actual Programmable Devices, MMS(Manufacturing Message Specification) Consists of Three Factors of Services, Interfaces, and Protocol. For Details, It Classifies with the Followings ; Connection/Context Management, Remote Variable Access, Semaphore Management, File transfer and Management, Program UP/DOWN Load, Remote Program Fxecution. In this Paper Designing MAP Network Station of Programmable Device, we Analyze the Protocol of MMS, and Realize the State Diagram of each Services and Propose the Model of MMS Function Call Instructions.

  • Malfunction or inappropriate management of ventilation system in public transportation may cause unpleasant atmosphere or health problems to the old or feeble passengers. In this work, adsorption/desorption system for gaseous carbon dioxide is developed and tested under the various indoor conditions. Finally an optimum design specification for the indoor $CO_2$ control will presented.

  • Manufacturing Message Specification(MMS) was sewed as an International Standard by International Standardization Organization(ISO). MMS is being accepted throughout the world as a solution to communications among multi vendor factory floor environments. This paper describes an implementation of MMS which operates on Application Layer of Open Systems Interconnection(OSI) 7 layer model. MMS was implemented on MSDOS in apersonal computer environment.

  • A number of performance measures have been proposed for the quantification of dexterity for kinematically redundant manipulators. The use of such measures is especially important for kinematically redundant manipulators since they can satisfy the subtasks such as singularity avoidance and obstacle avoidance in addition to satisfying a specification of end-effector motion. In this paper, the advantages and disadvantages of performance measures proposed up to date are compared through simulations under the same environment. Besides, a new dexterity index for manipulators with multiple degrees of redundancy is proposed and shown to be effective through the simulation.

  • This paper presents a new high-level synthesizer for ASIC designs using ASIC library or FPGAs. DAMUL defines the VHDL description for a specified hardware and allocate some VHDL codes, which describe the behavioral specification, to the corresponding hardware before the synthesis. The interconnections are implemented by the multiplexers, and the objective of allocation is the minimization of the number of multiplexers. Also, the dedicated registers is used for global variables, in order to implement the other necessary registers as well as status and control registers. The effectiveness of the proposed system is shown by the synthesis results of benchmark circuits.

  • The Current CORBA has many drawbacks to be deployed successfully in real-time system applications. Recently, OMG adopted Real-Time CORBA specification. In this paper, we report our efforts on an implementation of Priority Model of Real-Time CORBA spec., which is one of the most important components in Real-Time CORBA spec. The improvement of real-time performances of our implementation is verified experiments.

Microwave Wideband Constant Phase Shifter (마이크로파 광대역 정위상기)

  • A method of wideband constant phase control is proposed. This can be applied to reflection type phase shifter with p-i-n diode. Using the proposed method, a microwave phase network which consists of a transmission line and reactive circuit element is suggested. By determining theproper values of design parameters, the desired wideband constant phase with different specification can easily be designed. Also, using the proposed method, the parameters variation, and 1.1 dB of insertion loss in the range of 12% bandwidth.

  • A signal system is critical point of transport capacity and train operation in urban rail transit. Today the moving block system by radio is taking place of the fixed block system by track circuit for efficiency and short headway in underground railway and right rail transit. In this study, assuming specification of a train, track and control system, the minimum headway on the moving block system and the fixed block system is researched for the maximum transport capacity.
