  • In this paper, we suggest an algorithm for the automatic measurement of concentricity and roundness using image processing technique. From the experimental results, we could find that the required measurement accuracy specification is sufficiently satisfied using our proposed method.

  • Automatic flow control system composed by hardware and software was designed and fabricated to be used as teaching tool of feedback control theory in university experimental class. This system includes hardwares like data acquisition board, flow measuring device, transmitters, and the pneumatic valve, and software like LabView program for the monitoring and control of flow rates. The system was designed as the student can see the control effect of not only set point but also disturbance changes. Also the LabView program was composed for the calculation of controller parameters of both Ziegler-Nichols and Cohen-Coon tuning. The students can apply both tuning constants and compare the control performances. This system will provide the easy way for the students to understand the function and specification of control hardwares, and to raise the programing ability of control software.

  • To obtain the system requirement specification in the beginning of the precision guidance system development, the effectiveness and reliability analysis for the system are necessary. The main purpose of this research is to obtain the system requirement specification for the high speed unmanned underwater vehicles by carrying out the effectiveness analysis using the modeling and simulation scheme. The effectiveness is position error for target position. Reaching accuracy is expected to be affected by the navigation sensor parameter. Assume that the navigation sensors that is consist of inertial navigation system(INS) and doppler velocity log(DVL) is the parameter. To analyze the effectiveness of each parameter, Monte-Carlo numerical simulation is performed in this research. The effectiveness analysis is carried out using circular error probability(CEP) and variance analyze scheme. Considering the cost function, the specification of the navigation sensor is provided. The cost function is consist of the INS and DVL specification and the price of those sensors.

  • A design method of robust controller for the longitudinal autopilot of BTT missile is considered. The difficulties are a set of linearized dynamic models which corresponds to different operating points has a wide range of parameters and it has even Non-Minimum Phase(NMP) zeros. In this paper, such a family of models is expressed by an interval plant. Then a robust control design method using QFT is represented. A simulation result shows that the proposed controller satisfies the given specification well.

  • Recently, fault injection techniques are used for evaluation of the fault coverage properties of safety-critical systems. This paper describes the TCN Fault Injector(TFI) implemented for TCN safety analysis. The implemented TFI injects network level faults to Intelligent MVB Controller that is designed for the Korean High Speed Train. With TFI, it can be verified whether the MVB controller meets TCN specification and its safety requirements.

  • This paper deals with dynamic performance of the Cheju - Haenam HVDC system. The purpose of the study is to verify the control characteristics of the HVDC system and to analyze the dynamic performances by simulation study. Because the HVDC system consists of analogue and digital controller, the simulation is achieved with specification model incorporating nonlinear function. The dynamic performance simulations are performed by PSCAD/EMTDC

  • In this study, we have analyzed the optimum control of wheel for coach car in maintenance process to grasp the problem relating to this coach's wheel exchanged. So, these problems brought about decrement maintenance cost. This study were deliberated to solve problems concerning maintenance process of wheel exchanged and wheel specification in rolling stock workshops of KNR. Here, we describe some results.

In order to control the quality data of design-centric, an apparel worksheet system was developed by using the function of product data management system.
